I have not been able to get into this blog for 3 years. Oh, I could search it & see that it exists but could not sign into it. . . so after an entire year of attempting to regain access I finally started a new blog. So this morning while signing into my new blog, much to my surprise, this one opened up. So how does this happen I might ask? Well I could suppose that it is time for me to revisit the past, maybe to complete some healing that I overlooked as the energies have shifted and Venus is moving into our perspective again or that just yesterday I asked the Universe to help me to change my perspective as I felt like I was out of touch with who I am. I always said that every new day brings a new adventure and this is proof that it's still true. I am thrilled to have access to this blog once again, it was like opening an old chest full of joyful treasures & lost memories and I can't wait to see what gifts the Universe has in store for me tomorrow. Looking forward to my creativity returning to me once again, I feel extremely blessed today ♥ I just can not put into words, the happiness I am feeling right now, which is the first time since my last move almost 3 years ago

Time for a Change
Hey Everyone,
I know it's been a really long time since my last post but I have come to a cross roads in the proverbial state of time. . .

I have been crafting primitives, making soap, refinishing vintage wooden bowls and making signs for just about 10 years as Crane's Nest Creations now and I have finally come to the conclusion that for the amount of time and money spent that this just is not working for me

I was working 8 to 10 hours a day, 6 days a week for a couple of years, outside of home and then come home and spend money to craft, something I love to do but the truth of the matter is, I do not enjoy my life. I spend all my time planning and buying supplies and crafting things that just do not yield my worth. People who buy those things just don't seem to value what I do and it leads me to a place of discontent

So I'm listing some organic homemade soaps I made for the gift giving season and will continue with selling farmhouse mercantile type stuff, and creating sometimes when spirit moves me. Maybe I'll make patterns for all the things I make, just a thought as I now I'm working only part time (In burnout and pain from too much work)

So I guess this post serves as my notice that I will no longer be contributing to the Primitive Folk Art homemade market on a regular basis any longer. If you had any interest in what I do in the past, you can go to my ETSY shop and enjoy what I have made for the end of this season

At some point you have to say,( at 64 years of age), I guess it's just time I focus on me for a change

New Moon New Listings

Todays New Moon in Libra is moving us forward and helping us to balance our world. Even though Venus is retrograde this should be a positive period for all of us, looking back and evaluating past & present relationships allowing us to let go and move ahead. Revisiting does holds much reward as we see why relationships fail so we are able to rethink our next relationships. Be a new friend or lover our past holds the keys to our future.

Better Preparedness. . .
How will we be better prepared to take care of ourselves in these changing times is a question I keep asking myself

I live and all Organic, Non-GMO lifestyle and avoid chemicals at all costs, to the best of my ability but this lifestyle does not come without much challenge given the amount of toxins in our life, in our food and literally every product we purchase with additives in the food we eat that is commercially produced. From colorants, fragrances, additives to keep shelf life extended, enhance taste etc.

I started a personal war about 8 years ago because like many unsuspecting or undiagnosed celiac patients, I can no longer tolerate chemicals of any kind. (Celiac is caused by chemicals. Your intestinal tract gets inflamed and then builds scar tissue, at which point you don't absorb nutrients from the food you eat any longer. It causes mild to sever abdominal pain and you literally starve to death if you don't change your eating habits & lifestyle). Not in my food, clothing, personal care items, environment, cleaners. EMF signals have also become a distraction in my world as I am sensitive to energy of any kind. Sometimes I have to stop and wonder how others do it. Live with all this stuff, making them sick and they don't even know it's happening to them. They go to the Doctor and get a prescription to cover up their symptoms, so they are not healing, just existing until it all catches up with them. We are being poisoned to death in the US and our government just doesn't seem to care. It's all about the money to them. The FDA supports big business Not our Safety. Grass roots people are the ones, who like myself, strive to make Our America Great Again

People are so oblivious to what is going on around them, I find it so sad. If you are here reading this, I encourage you to take a look around the internet, learn, understand and make the much needed changes for yourself before it's too late.

I will continue to write these kinds of articles and post links to sites for you to visit so you too can empower yourself through learning. Gemini New Moon offers a clear energy road

June started out with a clearer energy due to the Gemini energy which cleared the mottled energies of May. Even though the feel June is more relaxed and slowed down as we head into a Mercury retrograde there is still work to bet done. My life has changed so much in the last year as I focus on the things I cherish, being peace on earth, and even with all the upsets in politics we keep moving forward towards a world peace. When Life Throws you a curve Ball

Yep! Sometimes the winds of change blow and throw you a curve ball. Now you are faced with new possibilities. Are you going to jump on it or hold out for the best to present itself?
For now I am going to follow my plan and downsize to be able to live in a tiny house even though this offer will be there forever. I have a long road ahead of me to be able to get to where I need to be, to accomplish that which I desire. So it's time to pull out all the stops and start selling everything I own. This is truly the hard part as it took all my life to get me here.
The one thing I don't want to give up is my ETSY shop so I need to plan this out to be able to keep the equipment I need to keep going but it sure takes up a lot of space so I will need to plan carefully so that I am able to downsize that as well.

No, he did not discover America but what he did do was organize the worlds largest genocide in history. Adolf Hitler took lessons from Columbus. So immense that even the school books cover this with lies made into the great story of his arrival. But what they don't tell you is of the slaughter of the American Natives living here. You know those people he referred to as savages, the American Indians who didn't even raise a hand to the Spanish invasion until after they were all nearly dead from hunger and disease, that the Spaniard's brought from abroad, their land taken from them and their women and children raped, mutilated and shipped off to be sold off for slaves in other countries except most all died before reaching their destination to South Africa
Christopher Columbus drove the American natives across the U.S. and placed them on reservations (concentration camps) in the coldest regions of the America's where he knew they could not survive causing many more to parish.
Maybe you can tell me why the United States Government celebrates this sick excuse for a human being. Under his command they extinguished nearly an entire race of people who never did anything to anyone
Think about this before you sign your ballot on election day because this kind of entitled behavior is going to continue if Hillary is elected into office. She shares this kind of mentality and supports GMO's, medical insurance rape and no rights for the American peoples. We the People are just numbers to her and her chemical companies will finish us all off in another 50 years if they aren't stopped now

Setting Intentions, A powerful way to Manifesting your Future

Mercury is almost out of it's shadow period and the New Moon is heading our way.
Setting Intentions and aligning with the energies of your future should start to flow within your being now as we start to move forward into the darkness of the year. I love the winter months and it's not because I love attempting to make my way to work every day with all those who can't seem to navigate through the snow. The harvest time brings a time of slowing down and shifting gears in order to get working on all those things we need to get done before the leaves and snow falls.

In order to manifest anything in your life you need to set boundaries of what you expect from others and how you want to be seen in their lives, which sets in alignment the flow with other peoples energies. When we set boundaries we are telling the Universe that we don't care to be involved in their dramas but instead want to enjoy our friends and family through joy and laughter. Yes, you can ask for that. And when you do, things start to change around you. The space starts to open up and the chaos & clammer going on in others lives is not overflowing into yours any longer. There becomes a new distance and you start to enjoy the good times with them instead of the daily drama they allow to live in their space.

Setting boundaries protects you from others lower vibrational dogma. Then there is setting your intentions for what you expect to come forth in your life. Maybe a renewed relationship with a sibling or child. Or maybe you need help with something that has become a difficult task for you, Ask the Universe for help and know that it will show up when you least expect it.

Most importantly, attempt to be happy in the now, not thinking to much into the future and definitely don't dwell in the past. Allow yourself to open up to something new walking through your door at any given moment. A way to own a new car or to change residence when you are not sure how you will manage that. Allow the Universe to orchestrate the details and put you where you want to be on your path. When it comes to manifesting, see your end result, same with goals, allow the energies to flow in the direction of your desires. Visualize daily of the things you are longing for so they are able to find you through the energies you expand on.

Watch your goals unfold in front of you as you take the time to see yourself there already, feeling the energy and happiness those things will bring you. This is how you manifest from the end in mind by opening yourself up to receiving by feeling happy and grateful for the things you have now, knowing that better is on it's way to you.

Enjoy the quiet times of this season as everything goes to sleep for the winter months. Keep dreaming, keep believing and know that they are around the next turn

We have a Lunar Eclipse coming up Sept 16th which will start your wheels turning if your looking for a raise, promotion or just a new status and it's time to show who you really are
Painstakingly enough though Mercury doesn't go direct until Sept 22nd so be careful how you handle yourself or others at this time when you want excel and push forward. Communication break downs (misunderstandings, unclear instructions) and equipment failure are always at the top of the list and travel is tricky as well. Your best laid plans could blow up in your face. Remember to be diplomatic in all areas of your life for the best results.

This Lunar Eclipse could bring out the worst, turning anyone into a psychopathy so watch for mood swings, signs of aggression and shopaholic tendencies. Everything in moderation.

After Mercury goes direct things will start to loosen up a bit and we should feel the heaviness of the veil lifting which is the best time to move towards your current goal. Just a word on goals, don't spend too much time on the planning and see yourself in the results. Another words, try working your goal with the end in mind instead of working on the means. This puts you at a much better vantage point to receiving. You'll notice opportunities starting to open up making the process much faster to where you want to be. Instead of eating ramen noodles to save money make spaghetti instead, enjoy the process. Limiting yourself is limiting your beliefs

Summer Slowing to a Close with the Full Moon Eclipse

Wow, it's August 25th and summer is coming to a close since the Full Moon Eclipse last week.
Much time has been spent working more than full time, attempting to keep up with the lawn care, garden growth and orders in my ETSY shop. It's already time to start to clean out the garden, I still have about one round of tomatoes to pull and have cooked down 3 pots of sauce to get me through the next few months.

Time is moving very fast these days since the full moon eclipse and many things in my life have come into new light. Some issues I have had with friends and co-workers are now in a completely different light or a whole new perspective. Even though the picture is now very clear, some of it not to my liking but the truth in all areas has finally showed itself. There is much disappointment but on the same hand I now feel it's all been revealed and I am more confident about what the future holds for these relationships and the paths I need to follow have been illuminated before me. It was like awakening from a dream one morning where all the questions I had where clear as the light of day.

It is time to move forward and change the scenarios that have made me unhappy or uneasy in the past and knowing the truth of the circumstances has really been an eye opener. Eclipses are wonderful for that even though it's not always the way you anticipated things turning out, you now have the insight to change a situation. I Thank my spiritual guides for helping me to understand the root of my unease. For now I am able to do my forgiveness work & move the tides in the right direction. I just need the energy to help me get it all this done before the snow starts to fly and everything comes to a screaming halt for the winter.

I can just imagine the Native Americans scouting for the strawberries to make they're delicate

The Truth About Cancer Healing Cancer Naturally, My own Experiance

It is now almost 5 years ago that I went in for a routine Ultra sound, in lew of a mammogram to appease my insurance company and get the tests done they say I needed. After the test was done I was asked to have a seat as the Dr. wanted to discuss the results with me. I was then called into a conference room and told that I needed a biopsy as there was a mass in my breast that he was sure was cancer. And so the story goes on. . .

I went home, upset, sat down and cried and then started to research natural healing for breast cancer, I made a list of supplements and took a ride to my local health food store where I purchased
Barlean's High Litigen Flax seed oil, organic cottage cheese, organic strawberries, Barlean's Greens supplements, Vitamin C high doseages, Essian Tea, COQ10, Latril (apricot seed kernels) and some sour-sop juice, a couple of others vitamins. I stopped at Woodman's and purchased organic fruits & vegetables and went home and started juicing. I left all the everyday food I used to eat behind and continue to do so still this day. I also raised my alkaline level to 8.5 ph by drinking high alkaline water, from my Enagic Water machine, and using baking soda to increase my alkaline leveal when I was at work for too many hours without water to drink.

In the 2nd month of this re gamine I purchased B17 from an on line market as this vitamin was illegal in Illinois where my favorite Health food store was located. None of the health food stores in southeast Wisconsin stocked it either.

By month 3, I had lost 30 pounds and made an appointment to see Dr. Nasr, a holistic Dr. He ran tests for four months attempting to find cancer in my body but by the fourth month he told me that like everyone, I did have cancer cells but that he was unable to diagnose any live cancer in my body.

In this time I had 6 friends and employees family member that ended up dying from the conventional treatments they were receiving. you see the three things conventional treatment does is
Surgery - Cut , the opening up the body while cancer is active makes the cancer spread like wildfire
Chemo - derived from Mustard Gas, used in chemical warfare during war time, it is illegal to use mustard nerve gas as chemical warfare any longer but they use it to treat cancer patients in this country. It destroys the immune system
Radiation - burns and kills the tissue surrounding the tumor

April 2nd, the joke is over-let's get back to Reality in the Making

April 7th there is a New Moon in Aries so plan to be motivated, if you aren't already, to move forward with the plans you have on changing your life in some way. Whether it be a new career path, committing to a healthier life style or just plain learning to manifest your lifes dreams. Aries is a great time to start as the motivation is pushing and you are moving freely in the direction you wish your life to flow. But you'd better move fast here because on April 17th Mar's will go retrograde and everything will come to a screaming halt but don't fret, look at it as a time rethink and refine your drawings and plans to move ahead, sorting everything and getting all your ducks in a row for the regatta and on April 22nd the Full Moon is in Scorpio/ Neptune will help you connect with the emotional issues you have with your plan, your intuition will be high and your physic abilities will steer you through any dilemma's you may have encountered along the way
Mercury will go retrograde on the 28th which will last until May 22nd so again you will have a chance to take another look at your plans and see what's not working, refine, reconnect with your original intention and by Memorial Day you'll be in full motion of perfecting your plans.
So let's touch base on the Manifesting part of the plan. There is a most important element to this so if it seems out of reach for some reason, let's get started and address the issues you are having
Everyday you need to commit yourself to visualization, which is about 10 minuets of day dreaming.
YES, Daydream about how you want your life to look in the near future.
According to Mike Dooley @ TUT there are 6 guidelines to visualization:

1: Visualize only once a day
2: Visualize for only 10 minuets
3: See, Hear, Feel, Smell and Taste every imaginable detail
4: Put in the Emotions, the joy and happiness of achieving your desired wishes
5: Put yourself in the picture, actually see yourself driving that new car you wanted
6: Go Straight to the End Result! DO NOT SEE YOURSELF WINNING THE LOTTERY and just Visualize your life as if all you ever wanted is right there and you are ALREADY in that Place, time and space. (another words forget about the details of how all this will come to you)

Now I know that can be hard, not sorting out the details of how you will make this happen. Because if you are moving towards this in your daily life eg moving towards a business or career change, healthy life style, a new car, than the details are already being worked out by you. Get out there and work on the details but do not visualize it in your daily Visualization Practice. Use your Visualization Practice to see your self there, in your new home or car already. Piece of cake! See once we form a habit of thinking and seeing ourselves where we want to be, all of a sudden one day it just shows up in the form of a great opportunity, or being offered a free trip to somewhere you always wanted to go. Or your dream house maybe, that someone else needs to unload this place and your in the right place at the right time and are able to afford this now. Everything comes in divine timing, when we are ready and remember that nothing is out of reach, if you can see it for yourself than it is within your field of potentiality which means it is meant to be. So go for the gusto, don't waste your time on thinking small or small is what you will get and I am sure if your still reading this that you have had enough small in your life and it's time to think big!

So, I am off on a new adventure and can not wait to get started
I am certain you have seen the up cycled sweater coats on ESTY being made by a number of estyieans.
Some of the nicer coats are Katwise coats on her own website as she is the originator of this trend but Pandora's Closet make a beautiful version of that coat as well.
I am also expanding my imagination in making these coats only I will be making them for children and since used
1) wool sweaters are nearly impossible to obtain in this area so I am making them from recycled sweat shirts
2)which is more durable for a child as it's washable (no dry cleaning required) and still will be a warm fun coat for spring and fall or those cool summer nights.
3) making them from up-cycled sweat shirts will bring down the cost substantially, making them affordable for Children's wear
4) offering sizes 4T through size 8 girls

My new Juki Serger came in today and I am most excited to start on this venture (just waiting for my specialty threads to arrive) and allow children in on the fun of up cycled fairy coats. I was inspired to do this last year when I attempted to find someone who made these coats for kids as I wanted to purchase one for my granddaughter. Well, to say the lease what I found was not what I expected and I was so disappointed. So that's when I decided to make one for her myself. I should have one completed by the end of next week and post a picture of the first one I accomplish.
Wish me luck, I'll get back to you with pictures next week, in the mean time this is what you can expect except for the appliques on the front of the coat as it's really hard to find kids sweatshirts without something on the front of them. I will find them eventually. so stay tuned for the next round of pictures

Gluten Free Diet

Gluten Free Diet, is something that has been a challenge for me since I have such a huge love for breads and pasta's. I was raised in an Italian household. My father and brother were both chef's and my mom was just a really dammed good cook. We always had fresh baked breads, cannoli, kaiser rolls and such and dinner always included a plate of pasta. Growing up was a love story of food as we had the best meals in the neighborhood.
About 5 years ago I became very ill every time I ate anything that wasn't just fruit or vegetables and then sometimes I still had such a stomach ache I couldn't even breath.(more Chenicals) Even beer made me sick. Since then I learned that it was all the chemicals that make me sick which still keeps me away from any wheat, barley, rye or hops as those products like corn and sugar are harvested in the same practice, that which they actually spray herbicides on the plant to kill the mother plant before the harvest, causing the plant to yield more grains as the plant pushes everything out before it dies off. These foods are not washed to remove the residues of the chemicals and are dried and processed leaving the residue in tact. My body is no longer capable of processing these chemicals and it has destroyed my digestive system which is commonly refereed to as celiac disease.
In order to have a sandwich I have been subject to the gluten free offers that crumble in your hands unless it is toasted, that they sell at the grocery stores for 3 times the amount of money, as they sell regular bread for and we are accustomed to buying. Gluten free loaves are a third of the size for this little loaf in stores. Imagine buying a loaf of bread 1/3rd of the size and your paying $6.50 for this little loaf
So I started to learn to bake, I thought, this has to work for me cause I need peanut butter sandwiches or bust. It ends up that I have become really good at this and even though I learned that the bread will last a week before it molds, that the biggest trick is Don't Store it in Plastic! Plastic makes the bread turn into the stuff you buy at the grocery store.(plastic is toxic and not my favorite medium for storage anyway). I use all organic ingredients in my breads,granola, actually everything I make
So I am considering a new business of baking and selling a line of Gluten free bread packaged in paper bags, granola, which is something else I have learned to make really well, mini loaves of sweet breads and cookies.
I plan to sell at the local flea market here in Princeton this summer and if it goes well I will offer them in my Etsy shop, as they do allow sales of food items. I'm excited about learning about all the legal aspects of making and selling food and the certifications and licensing I need to obtain to bake and sell gluten free, organic breads and sweets. Maybe I will be able to turn this not so nice situation into a passion for fresh baked gluten free foods and share my love for bread with others who share in my dilemma over not being able to eat regular bread.
