Addressing concertgoers on October 9, Chilli explained that T-Boz was taking the necessary time to recover after suffering a painful sickle cell episode.

The ‘No Scrubs’ singer told the crowd:

“I’m going to continue to hold it down for my sister.”

She also called on the audience to help carry the show in T-Boz’s absence.

As previously reported, T-Boz was hospitalized in August after experiencing a sickle cell crisis that forced her to step away from the group’s joint ‘It’s Iconic Tour’ with Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue.

Her representatives subsequently confirmed that she was recovering, stressing that her health remained the priority.

Since then, Chilli has been flying the TLC flag solo, powering through classics such as ‘Waterfalls’, ‘Creep’, and ‘No Scrubs’.

It makes for a bittersweet sight, particularly given the group’s decades-long journey together and the loss of Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes in 2002.

For now, there is no confirmed date for T-Boz’s return.

Offset‘s financial woes appear to be deepening.

For, the former Migos star is facing the prospect of a $100,000 court judgment after failing to respond to a lawsuit filed by a Detroit casino.

A Michigan judge has ordered MotorCity Casino Hotel to pursue a default judgment after the rapper missed the deadline to answer its lawsuit.

The September 11 order directs the casino to seek a judgment, with the matter to be heard no later than October 23.

The dispute dates back to March 2024, when Offset allegedly opened a $100,000 gambling credit line at the establishment.

MotorCity claims the rapper subsequently failed to repay the balance, became unreachable, and had insufficient funds in his bank account when the casino attempted to collect its money.

When the lawsuit surfaced in April, a representative for Offset insisted they were “working towards a resolution.”

However, the latest development suggests the matter is far from settled.

While a judgment has not yet been granted, the casino could be permitted to pursue collection if its request succeeds.

The legal headache adds to the rapper’s reported financial troubles, which include more than $2.3 million in tax liens disclosed last year.

Interestingly, the news comes just days after Offset claimed a separate casino confrontation in Paris was merely a promotional skit.

In another twist, the October 23 court deadline coincides with the scheduled release of his new album ‘GMFU’.

A potentially eventful day for the MC.

Pharrell Williams is fighting back.

The iconic producer has asked a judge to throw out Chad Hugo‘s lawsuit over unpaid Neptunes royalties, calling the claims “vague and ambiguous.”

Hugo sued his former production partner in January and has since filed multiple amendments.

On Tuesday, October 6, Pharrell’s attorneys filed a 34-page motion to dismiss, arguing that the case should not proceed to trial.

According to the motion, Hugo failed to identify the copyrighted works he is seeking money for. He also allegedly failed to provide facts supporting his ownership claims.

The motion states:

“After years of dispute, three years of tolling, and three successive pleadings, those basic facts remain unidentified. In fact, as incomprehensible as it is, it appears that Hugo has no idea which compositions or sound recordings he supposedly authored even though he claims to have been there, right by Defendants’ side, the whole time.”

Pharrell’s team wants the copyright ownership and unpaid royalty claims thrown out.

Additionally, they are seeking the dismissal of the remaining state-law claims, including breach of fiduciary duty, two accounting claims, and relief relating to LLC operating agreements.

A hearing on the motion is scheduled for November 6.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Titania Davenport, the late Migos rapper’s mother, is seeking to have the case heard in Georgia rather than Texas, arguing that key witnesses, including the rappers, are based in the Atlanta area.

Davenport previously sued 810 Billiards & Bowling, the Houston venue where Takeoff was fatally shot in November 2022. The case settled in 2025, but a dispute has since emerged over how to divide the payout.

Takeoff’s father, Kenneth Ball, reportedly believes he is entitled to half to the settlement. However, Davenport alleges that he provided little financial or emotional support during their son’s childhood.

Davenport, also Quavo’s sister, says she raised Takeoff largely on her own and that he relied on her for financial support.

A judge will ultimately decide whether the dispute proceeds.

The multi-talented comedian and actor has been tapped to join ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2027‘ with Ryan Seacrest as the Chicago co-host.

Seeing Druski bring his signature humor to the annual countdown, the upcoming celebration will have the social media star (born Drew Desbordes) featured alongside returning hosts Rita Ora in New York and Julianne Hough and Rob Gronkowski in Las Vegas.

Seacrest will once again lead the overall festivities and musical performers will be announced in the coming weeks. The 2027 edition will also mark the first time the 55-year-old annual TV special will simulcast live on Disney+ alongside ABC.

The hosting gig adds another major milestone to Druski’s rapidly growing resume.

Beyond debuting his hosting talent at the 2026 BET Awards, the 32-year-old has become one of comedy’s biggest names, working with stars including Drake, Lil Yatchy and Jack Harlow.

Mike Tyson has revealed that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs asked him to deliver a letter to President Donald Trump while the music mogul remains behind bars.

During an appearance on Andy Cohen‘s ‘Radio Andy‘ show on SiriusXM, the retired boxing champion confirmed that he has spoken to the embattled mogul over the phone and was asked to pass a message to the president.

When Cohen asked whether he delivered the letter, Tyson replied:

“I did what he told me to do, yes.”

Tyson also admitted he was surprised by the legal proceedings against the Bad Boy Records founder, questioning the use of the Maan Act, a federal law dating back to 1910, saying:

“I was surprised that they went through so many lengths to get him. They used a 110-year-old rule to get him. That case 110 years ago, but they used it to get him. Can you imagine that? They took a 110-year-old case to get him a couple of months, a couple of years ago.”

Diddy is currently serving a 50 month sentence on prostitution-related charges with his release date scheduled for March 2028, subject to change.

Tyson’s reported request to Trump comes after the president previously confirmed receiving a pardon request from Diddy.

The four-time GRAMMY-nominated rapper will serve as CEO of the label imprint; he’s already signed three artists from the Atlanta area.

Gunna explained his vision in a statement to Variety. He said:

“SB the Label represents the beginning of a new chapter for me. It only felt right to start that chapter alongside my brothers Casper Bluff, Nechie, and Dracc, who are the first artists signed to the label.”

He added:

“For me, this is about stepping into a new role, expanding what I can create, and building something that represents where I’m headed next.”

Alongside the announcement, he released his new single ‘Pop It’ with a music video directed by Spike Jordan.

The song comes as the latest taste of new music set to line his upcoming album, ‘Splurge,’ due on digital shelves before the year’s end.

The partnership builds on his longstanding relationship with Warner Music Group; executives Rayna Bass and Selim Bouab remain involved.

Per Billboard, Interscope filed a lawsuit on Friday (October 9) after Walker formally sought to terminate her deal in August.

The Atlanta native, who signed with Interscope and LVRN in 2017, is exercising her rights under California’s seven-year statute, which allows artists to exit certain personal services contracts after seven years.

However, a 1987 amendment allows record companies to pursue damages for undelivered albums.

And therein lies the $50 million sticking point.

Interscope argues that Walker has fulfilled just three albums of a five-album commitment: ‘Over It’ (2019), ‘Still Over It’ (2021), and ‘Finally Over It’ (2025).

The latter debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, continuing a streak that has seen all three studio albums open in the chart’s top two.

Despite the lawsuit, Interscope maintains that a resolution remains possible.

A spokesperson told Billboard:

“We have great respect for Summer and her music and would welcome the opportunity to continue our successful partnership.”

The label says it filed to preserve its contractual rights before a 45-day statutory deadline expired.

Walker’s reps have not yet publicly commented.

Interestingly, the legal clash follows a major year for the singer, who took her album trilogy on a worldwide arena tour in 2026.

Now, the question is whether she can embark on her next musical chapter independently of Interscope, or whether that freedom will come with an astronomical price tag.
