There are several things you need to look for clothing, batik cloth or your batik uniform keep beautiful looking, are as follows:

Wash your batik cloth by using hair shampoo. Previously, dissolving before shampoo till no more part of thickened. Then you can dip your batik cloth. You can also use special soap for washing batik cloth sold on the market.

When washing batik not rubbed and do not use detergent. If your batik is not too dirty, you can wash it with warm water. But if your batik stains, you can clean just with just a soap. However, if the stain still persists then you can remove it with orange peel on the dirty part only. Do not wash your batik cloth by using the washing machine.

After missing the dirt you have to leave them in the shade but you do not have to squeeze it, let the cloth dry naturally. At the time of drying in the sun you should drag the edge of the cloth for normalized fabric fibers.

Avoid ironing directly, if so tangled you can spray water on your batik cloth and then seal your batik with other fabrics. This is to avoid your batik cloth exposed to direct heat of iron.

If you want to give fragrance and fabric softener on batik, do not spray directly on fabric. Previously, the first fabric cover with newspaper, then spray a liquid deodorizer and fabric softener. You should not spray perfume or fragrance oils directly to the fabric or clothing made from silk batik with natural colouring.

After ironed you better keep your batik in plastic to prevent moth-eaten. You should never give camphor because the solid is too hard so that it can ruin your batik cloth. It is better you give pepper or pepper wrapped in a napkin and enter in your closet to repel moths. Or you can use the fragrant root before you dip into hot water and then dried, then dipped again into hot water and dried. After the fragrant root dry you can just use it.
