"Sivaji The Boss in 3d" Tamil Trailer Released ! ! !

Superstar Rajinikanth’s blockbuster Sivaji The Boss would soon entertain fans in 3D. The 3D version’s trailer was unveiled in Chennai (August 13, 2012). Superstar Rajinikanth, producer AVM Saravanan and many others attended the event.

At a time when the media is abuzz with Rajinikhant's magnum-opus, "Kochadaiyaan" as his next release of the year, it might come as a sheer surprise to know it's wrong.

In fact, the southern star's next big release would be his 2007 blockbuster "Sivaji", this time in 3D.

As the film pundits across the world perceive 3D technology to be the future platform of the film industry, how could one expect Rajini to lag behind? The five-years-old film, dubbed "Sivaji - The Boss" would be released post September as a 3D treat for the Tamil star's fans.

The 3D trailer of "Sivaji" was unveiled on Monday at an event in Chennai. Rajini, who was at the function, said he was left speechless after watching a few scenes from the movie in 3D format.

"3D is the future. My next venture 'Kochadaiyaan' is a 3D film. It's practically difficult to make a 3D film in a regional market; to put up huge sets and shoot. So we thought of doing an animated 3D film," Rajinikhant was quoted saying by NDTV during the launch of the 3D trailer.

It looks like film producers want to hit the pot of the gold once again with a Rajini flick. A recent report said that the movie bosses are planning a big opening for "Sivaji" (3D), which in 2007 saw a mammoth release in about 750 screens worldwide, thus setting a new record.

Film makers began the 3D works for "Sivaji" last year at the Prasad EFX studio in Chennai and will be completed the format rendering by September. After which, going by the available theatres with 3D screens, the makers will take a call on the release date.

Directed by Shankar, "Sivaji" went on to become one of the top- grossing Tamil films of all time, with a whopping budget of ₹1 billion.

Rajini is currently working on "Kochadaiyaan", which is a multi-lingual movie made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, and directed by his second daughter Soundarya. The film is written by well-know director KS Ravikumar and will be shot with motion capture in 3D.

Kochadaiyaan Movie Games, Comics to Launch ?! ?! ?! ?! ?!

Rajini’s upcoming Kochadaiyaan is making a lot of news as the release date is nearing. Dr J Murali Manohar, Director of Media One Global Entertainment Ltd. whose company is co-producing the movie along with Eros Entertainment had a lot of interesting things to share about the Superstar’s latest movie.

All international gaming companies have approached the makers for creating games based on the movie. Not only that, they are also looking to launch comics based on the movie, making it the first Tamil movie spawning comic books. The best comic book companies in India are inquiring.

It must be noted that DC Comics and Marvel Comics are legendary comic brands in the US which have inspired major superhero movies like Batman, Spiderman and Superman. Now Kochadaiyaan comics will be another addition in this illustrious list.

Earlier, they had also tied up with Karbonn mobiles for launching special edition Kochadaiyaan mobile phones. In addition to all this, the team is also making sure that piracy and content security are taken care of.

The Independence Day of India, celebrated on 15 August, is a holiday commemorating India's independence from the British rule and its birth as a sovereign nation on 15 August 1947. India achieved independence following the Indian independence movement noted for largely peaceful nonviolent resistance and civil disobedience led by the Indian National Congress. The independence coincided with the partition of India wherein the British Indian Empire was divided along religious lines into two new states—Dominion of India (later Republic of India) and Dominion of Pakistan (later Islamic Republic of Pakistan); the partition was stricken with violent communal riots.

History:

At the stroke of midnight, as India moved into August 15, 1947, Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister, read out the famous speech proclaiming India's independence.

The moment ended three centuries of British colonial rule. The land was no longer the summer retreat of British sahibs who fancied spices, hunting, elephants and snake-charmers.

Independence was also the end of nearly a century of struggle for freedom, battles, betrayals and sacrifices. It also created a situation where we were responsible for ourselves.

But it wasn't a period of unqualified joy. For a lot of people, in spite of a new era promised by independence, partition was a painful reality and so was the bloodshed that accompanied it.

That was 65 years ago. Much has changed; the struggle for freedom lives on in history books and memoirs, and on the tombstones of valiant martyrs.Politics has undergone a personality change from fiery idealism to a pragmatic cynicism. Karma drives the nation on its way forward, and population has crossed the billion mark.But, come August 15, and the people put their troubles behind them for a while, as they stand up as a nation for the National Anthem. Along with the soaring cadences of the anthem, the hopes and dreams for a better tomorrow are renewed in political speeches and replays of the deeds of those who earned us our freedom.Independence Day is an occasion to rejoice in our freedom and to pay collective homage to all those people who sacrificed their lives to the cause. But it is more than that. It also marks the coming together of more than 400 princely states into one nation - India. This was probably our biggest diplomatic success.

India competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom, from 27 July to 12 August 2012. The Indian Olympic Association had sent a total of 83 athletes to compete in 13 sports making it the largest contingent India has ever sent to an Olympic Games.

The Indian effort to prepare for the games consisted of funds from the Indian Government to the tune of $48.1 million and an additional $11 million in private sponsorships.Sushil Kumar was the flag bearer in the opening ceremony and Mary Kom was the flag bearer at the closing ceremony.

Gagan Narang won the country's first medal at the Games, a bronze in the 10 metre air rifle event.

Vijay Kumar won a silver medal in men's 25 m rapid fire pistol event and became the third man ever representing India to win an individual silver medal after Norman Pritchard and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.

Adding to that, Saina Nehwal, won a bronze medal in women's singles in badminton. She has become the first Indian to win a medal in Badminton at the Olympics. She is also the second Indian woman to win an individual medal after Karnam Malleswari's bronze medal in Weightlifting in 2000.

Mary Kom won India its fourth medal at the games by winning a Bronze in the Women's flyweight category in Boxing. She is the third Indian woman to win a medal at the Olympics.

Yogeshwar Dutt by winning a bronze in the 60 kg Freestyle Wrestling event, won India the fourth bronze and the fifth medal overall. This is the third individual medal in wrestling after bronze medals by Sushil Kumar in 2008 and K D Jadhav in 1952.

Sushil Kumar won the Silver medal in 66 kg Freestyle wrestling. Sushil Kumar is the first Indian to win an individual medal in back to back Olympics. He had won a bronze medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the same category.

New Delhi:For the first time in the country's minting history, government will issue coins of Rs 150 denomination, marking the number of years of taxation in India.

The special coins, to be released by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee(now president) before his Budget speech, will also be brought out in Rs 5 denomination on the occasion of completion of 150 years, from 1860 to 2010, of the Income Tax department.

"The Income Tax department celebrated 150 years of taxation in the country last year and that the coins, especially the one in Rs 150 denomination will be minted for the first time," a senior I-T official said.

This coin is of 35 grams. It consists of 50% silver, 40% copper, 5% nickel and 5% zinc. Ashoka symbol is made on the upper side of the coin along with 'Satyamev Jayate' engraved upon it. As a whole, upper side of the coin is similar or other coins. But the lower side of the coin has picture of Ravindranath Tagore.
