My Lollii is turning 18!

I and Lollii were busy preparing for her Halloween 18th Birthday Bash. We had finished the invitation for her dearly friends, family and visitors.

The concept of her birthday we planned was about Halloween since her birthday is on November 3, 2011, which was known as a Halloween month celebration.

I have a hard time trying to find some sponsors for her birthday because I can't make it alone. I asked my sister to sponsor her fried chicken recipe, my x-hubby for lechon and softdrinks, aside for that we agreed to share equally for the venue of lolli's birthday, beef steak from my friend ate flor and mayden,

My lolli worried about me, because she knows my situation. I am so thankful because I left some amount in my account for financially-capable days. I decided to use it since, my lolli's debut will celebrate only once. I want her to have a wonderful birthday which I never experienced in my entire life.

She asked me to cooked her favorite pork asado, I suggested too a pansit canton for long life..char... and macaroni salad. I added some pizza roll, macaroons and cupcakes.

Wheewww.....it was so hard to be alone...because there is no one who will assist me, from grocery, preparation of foods, baking and cooking, arranging and decorating, gosh....i felt like dying.

I believe that if we love someone we need to learn how we let him or her go. Letting them go is not mean that you didn't love him/her. We need to give their freedom to find the happiness that they are looking. A thankful heart of a Mother

My greatest responsibility was to take good care of my daughter and my son. I am not a perfect mom, but I am doing the best thing for them. I had given my time to hear their voice. Each of them has different behavior that challenge me.

My daughter lollii is a sweet seventeen-year old lady and she will turn eighteen this coming November. It tells me that I am not forever young, lol. She is a sweet, humble and thoughtful young lad.

While my son John Rey a.k.a. Ken-Ken, is now four years old. He is totally sweet, very emotional, loving and caring.

I am blessed to have these two angels in my life. My heart is full of joy upon looking at these two playing and sharing their time with me.

I am thankful that God had given me the opportunity to take good care of these two angels and He had let me share my love with them. What a joyful heart!!

I've been invisible for a decade. I miss blogging,I miss to participate in MM. Thanks, at last, I am inspired to open my blog and update it for awhile.

Missing Someone Special

It is not easy that you are far from someone you love.

I have no choice but to accept the reality that I cannot be with him in my entire life. I have only one wish, that someday, I gonna stay with him for long just to let him experience the sincerity of my love. I only want to share my days with him, to enjoy the love inside of my heart and to experience again the security of his love every time I am in his side. My dear I hope everything is ok around you. Every time there was an occasion, like birthday, I always say, TIME RUNS TO FAST. Sometimes, I was surprised every moment that I looked my son. He is only 2 months old when I accepted my responsibility as his real mom and dad, like my own daughter who is going to 18 years this year.

But, I am talking here my son's 4th year birthday which is celebrating today August 8, 2011. I did not prepare any foods for his birthday, since my financial status this moment is not stable. I lost my job one month ago, so I have no salary to received. I was sick for almost one month and I am still spending too much money for the new small business that I started. Meaning, I have no plan to make a children party for him. "Poor Star" tsk.. tsk...

But, I did not stop praying from my God. Though I am busy, my heart keep asking God to provide anything for my son's birthday. Not only in that matter, the more important for me that He will grow up as a good person. My wishes for him is to have a good life, good health, he will grow up as a good Christian and to have fear with God.

Well, it was a busy day for me, I need to do all stuff to finished before leaving the office. I was tasked to met someone for very important matters at 4 in the afternoon somewhere on the mall. I did not expect that this person is one of the instrument from our Heavenly Father, because He knows that I have no penny to buy for my son's birthday cake, as I promised.

God made a way to meet this person because He knows that this person has a good heart in giving. When we met, I told her that I cant stay too long because I need to buy something for my son's birthday. But, she said, stay with me for an hour, just wait for me, I will be the one to buy the cake for your son. At first, I felt shy, but since she offered it, I accepted it, because this is blessings. Aside for her generosity, she bought some fruits and 25 sticks of barbeque and she gave me some cash. God is great!! He provides everything for my son. I am thankful for His greatness.

Upon reaching my mom's home, they just finished eating for dinner. My son said though he has no cake he still happy to have us, as his true family who love him. It's so touching when he talks to me and to my mom. He gives me a hug and kiss saying thank you. Because He knows how we loved and cared him.

Then after he kissed me, I let him to blow his cake and let him to eat his cake and some foods that I bring.

We are also surprised when my sister from Digos came just to be with us on his birthday. It's a family reunion anyway, though they only stayed for 3 hours we are happy and we enjoy talking and letting Johrey a.ka. Ken-ken to share his song and let him to read some of his lessons.

At last, we are all happy leaving from my mom's home. My sister and her common-law husband dropped me first in my new home before they leave for 3 hours travel back in their home town at Digos City.

Business is one of my main goal that I want to obtain. I want to handle all those things in a good manner that I have no one to hurt. I plan not only for myself, I plan for a brighter future of my daughter and son. I am also preparing something for myself that if I am in my old age, I have savings for any personal and medical expenses.

Achieving my goals is my greatest accomplishment in life . I always say that, I am blessed because of the bundle of opportunities coming in my way. God is good all the time. He designed my life perfectly because He lets the opportunity to come in my way. I thought, my life will end up to nothing. But, God save something the best for me.

I need to fixed everything and I need to think more idea how to handle this because at this time, I was adjusting of my new environment and new routine of my daily life.

I hope everything will be fine and may God will bless me more. Ended, I want to thank my family, my friends, my loving dear and my boss and to those who let me down, thank you so much because of you, I still here standing and become more stronger.

Above all, I thank God for being there with me all the time.

This maiden became invisible for almost two months. She had a lot of reason why she didn't updated her home page. She missed to get in touch again with herself through her testimonies. She missed her virtual friends, too.

A lot of things to reveal in a maiden's life, but she need to keep it in her heart. She wants to share the new journey of her life and more lessons from the day that you never heard about her.

To start in her journey, this maiden welcome herself again for a new beginning of her new chosen life. Her new struggle but very challenging part of her new phase of life.

Tuesday Thankfulness#4:Stranger's Knocked

It’s TT again and its time for me to thanks the lady who had given birth an angel. It was three (3) years ago; a lady named Eugene Echavez was a very special stranger who knocked in our door carried with her a very cute angel. I was surprised when she looked for me and she asked me if I’d willing to accept the one she carried. I did not felt hesitated, I accepted the baby heartily with my opened arms. When we talked, I'll ask her what she needs, and she replied that she had nothing but only a picture of his son.

John Rey when he is 2 months old.

This is the word that she leaves for me.

My son is your son and he is yours forever.

I answered her,

Thank you so much, but he is your son, and you are free to visit him anytime if you want. I am poor but I’ll try my best to raise him with my love, and work hard so I can support his needs until he finish his studies. If ever you became rich, don’t forget to find and look for your son, I am willing to give him back to you though it is difficult and hurtful for me, your son was an angel that someday he long to embrace his real parents.

John Rey's (a.k.a. Ken-ken) 3rd year Birthday (August 8, 2010)

Then I gave her only P50.00 for her fare back in her home, I know how difficult with her but she had no choice but to leave her son with me with her full trust. I was thankful for her because she listened in her heart to stopped and knocked in our door and she had trust to hand over the wonderful gift she carried.

I can't stop my heart to love my son. He is a real sweet and lovely.

For you Eugene, while I am writing this, I am in my deep emotion for thanking you. Your son is in a good hand and as I promised that the whole family and I share our love, patience, care and affection to John Rey. And please whenever you are, I was looking for you to remind you to visit him. I tried to teach him to become good and have respect with you. I always told him that if he will start his study, he would think his good future and find you in a perfect time and place. I always told him that you love him so much.

My two Angels in my life that I love most.

A Fantabulous Day

It's been quite long since I've got a day off from work. That means no endless paper works, allowance and free internet connection (hehehehe).. But at least, I was able to relax myself for a little while. Me and my daughter is currently enjoying our summer together by bonding inside the kitchen. We've been cooking foods, tons of them I might say.. I've made some roti, it's an indian dish, with a curry and mushroom dip- which is my favorite ever since I came from Malaysia. We also made pancakes and mango float for dessert and of course no one can forget the ice cream. My daughter bought a two in one ice cream which is a double dutch and rocky road-flavored. We just finished swallowing it all up a while ago while talking about some silly stories. I've never felt this big and fat (I can't believe I used those words) before.. But hey, it's the best experience ever. Having to eat everything you like to your hearts content is fantabulously good. Better, I might say.. Well, aside from sleeping and eating, we also enganged ourselves to watching movies. We're currently watching My Princess, it's a korean drama, and it got me all hooked up (My daughter already finished it on youtube.. she's such an addict when it comes to korean dramas).. My sweet and angelic daughter bought a movie entitled "Secret Garden," and we're going to watch it until tomorrow. That means, more fun and more food. All I can say is I just had a fantabulous day today and this is a maiden's testimony.

Tuesday Thankfulness#3: My angel Lollii

I want to say thank you to my daughter's creativeness and sweetness. She spent her vacation to my sister at Digos City last week. And before she back home she sent me the above notes. I love all the things she wrote above except the second of the last note. When she back home, we went to the church first, since it's Sunday, then we went to her favorite pizza restaurant. After we eat, were having a good time in the mall then we decided to spent one hour in the Music City.

After our bonding, she thanks me for having a great time with each other. We actually, save some time for bonding every month, but, since we are both busy we decided to find some another day.

We enjoyed our company, and we are more sweeter than before. I am so thankful because my daughter lollii is sweet. She is also loving, caring, thoughtful and God fearing. I am so blessed because God gave me an angel in my life. Above all, I want to thank God for being there with us in our heart who is our protector and provider. God is good all the time. He gives us a peaceful life which we are now enjoying.

Nostalgia # 10: Where is your Home?

Where is your home? Some of us are fortunate to have called home. Some are blessed because they have a family who loved them and provided everything they need. Some are borne rich and all the luxuries are there.

But some are not. These children are unfortunate to have home. We called them an orphaned. This is a place of children who became the victim of irresponsible parents. Who was to blame? The children who never know everything about future? Or those parents who have a hardened heart that ignore their kids. How many parents, woman, lady and young parents who have misfortune and subjectively repeated.

Every one of us has a responsibility of our own life. If we grown up and become matured we had already know what is wrong and good for us and for our love ones. We have emotions that have a big part in every decision we have. We have a heart that feels every emotion we have every time we decide. We have brains that help us to fix on. Are you agreeing? Whatever, that are the way that I express my feelings about these things.

Luckily, I survived in my case when some unexpected event in my life happened. God helped me through. I love my daughter and she is my life and inspiration, I took her with all my care, love and affection. I am poor but I strives to give her a good life. To let her experience how happy to have a life despite the odds we’ve experience. We have no perfect life, but through a good heart we have, we can handle a beautiful, peaceful and joyful life we want to be. Life is beautiful if we know how to appreciate it.

Anyways, pictures below are some of our school activities when I was schooling. My groups choose to visit orphaned kids and we made some contributions to feeds them and invited a pastor to helped us entertained the kids.

We played with them and talked with them. After, some activities, we contributed some give away, such as: clothes, milk, soap, notebook, pencil, crayons and etc. Heartily, we are so much touched and cried because of their situation. But, I can still say that these orphaned kids are still lucky to have place to comfort them. Thanks for the staffs of Gemma’s Orphanage who gave us an opportunity to visit this kids who also touched our life.

The kids have freedom to be happy. In this picture, we let them to sing with us.

They are happy to play with us.

And the whole group, are happy too, because our moments with the kids are the big part that we shared with them. We are too lucky because of this kids they touched our heart and they gave us more understanding about their life.

I received the invitation from this smart and pretty lady who celebrating the 3^rd year blogoversary of her blog. I described her as an intelligent, creative and talented persona. She is the lady who owns the crown of famous because of her thought and idea of writing. I appreciated and praised the creativeness of her writing and the truthfulness of every word is highly valued. Through her, the Maiden’s Testimony was borne.

She didn’t stopped to encourage me to be part in the blogosphere, which is now the reason why I didn’t stopped to learn and explore in my second world .

I didn’t know about blog and I am not interested about it. I have no talent in writing, that’s what I insisted every time she shared a positive things about blog. I said to myself, I have nothing to prove with myself because I considered me as a dump. But, she proved me that I was wrong. And even me, I can’t believe that I had a talent to write.

How I can forget my entry that had a fifth place in her 1^st blogosversary 2 years ago, entitled “Blog To World, blog for you and Me” contest with 26 participants. I tell you, this was the challenging part of those who participated in that contest..hahahahha!!! I remember, I met a lot of virtual friends, just like, Windy, Zorlone, Twinks, Twerlyn, Recel, Shydub, Cacai, Allena, David Funk and Bill. And I remember my first commenter in that contest was Mariuca. Why the contest was very challenging? Because, every participants need to campaign and vote in your entry.
