Everywhere I read about the ghetto its always filled with all the bad things, the crime, violence, desperation and corruption is all you ever hear about concerning the hood. Well I am here to tell you that that’s just one side of the coin. Being a kid in the ghetto is allot like being a kid anywhere. 99% of the time a child is free to play, run, do flips on mattresses, all kind of really fun stuff. When I was little I had an imaginary friend named Marlow but after a week of playing with him I had to end our friendship because his dumb ass got my bike stolen. I told him I had to pee and to watch the bike for a minute till I came back outside, of course when I came back the bike was gone. Marlow aint seen a dam thing of course, just like everyone else in the hood. Criminals in the hood don’t kill a witness, that’s a myth; if there ever was a such thing as a witness in the hood then the gangsters hunted them to extinction. I always knew he set me up to get my bike stolen, can’t trust nobody in the hood, not even when they are imaginary. I got a whooping over that bike, shoot.

I have been allot of different places in my life but none compares to the good-times that the ghetto provide, I’ll give you a few examples of the differences. If you live anywhere other than the ghetto and smoke cigarettes but don’t have no money, well you just out of luck. If you live outside the ghetto you have to worry about terrorism and crap and if you need a stick of margarine but no loot you just have to eat dry toast. If you live in the ghetto you can walk 100 feet in any direction and a terrorist will sell you a cigarette from a open pack for a quarter and a stick of butter for 50 cents. You can even trade in pornographic books at the 1/10th price bookstore. And one of the best perks of ghetto life is that everything is always for sale in multiples. In white area stores one soda is $1.19 in the ghetto they are either 2 for a dollar or 3 for a dollar. White areas sell meat separately for high prices, in the hood you take $50 and get a 25-pound meat deal with meat for every dam meal ever invented. You get breakfast sausage, lunchmeat, dinner ¼ fryers and even late night snack wieners. They even throw in something free like a two-liter soda or a dozen eggs, and then they deliver it. The ghetto is the best place in the world before some ignorant nigar come and mess it all up.

That’s the bad side of the ghetto and 90% of the reason for all the negativity, poor black folks hate anybody that isn’t as poor as them or as dumb as them, it don’t really matter what you got that’s better than them, you will be hated for it. If you got a slick car, you better have a slick gun. If you got a slick house, you better have a slick gun. If you have a slick gun, the way police fill quotas you better have a slick lawyer or plan, aint no such thing as “home security” in the hood as far as police are concerned. You got a gun, you got a problem, but we got so many problems anyway that we all still got a gun in our house. In the ghetto it ain’t but a few hard fast rules, 1. if you hear shots and you aint shooting….run. And 2 if you new to a hood know everybody or nobody, aint no middle, cause you will have to choose sides sooner or later. And its real easy to get shot because everybody got something to prove, never did nothing to nobody don’t mean nothing in the hood. And some people can be as ignorant as the first artificial intelligence beta software.

The other day I saw a little 3-year-old girl almost get ran over by a car. The mother was 50 feet away on the phone and apparently forgot she had kids crossing the street with her??? But it turned out good because the baby did not get hit, but the thing I remember is that the mother was looking at the driver like it was his fault, if looks could kill that man would have died right there jolly on the spot. That’s the type of crap you have to deal with in the ghetto. Misery truly loves company down here, but happiness gets shared easier too so it all evens out.
The modern state of Cameroon was created in 1961 by the unification of two former colonies, one British and one French.
Since then it has struggled from one-party rule to a multi-party system in which the freedom of expression is severely limited.
Cameroon began its independence with a bloody insurrection which was suppressed only with the help of French forces.
There followed 20 years of repressive government under President Ahmadou Ahidjo. Nonetheless, Cameroon saw investment in agriculture, education, health care and transport.
In 1982 Mr Ahidjo was succeeded by his prime minister, Paul Biya. Faced with popular discontent, Mr Biya allowed multi-party presidential elections in 1992, which he won.

In 1994 and 1996 Cameroon and Nigeria fought over the disputed, oil-rich Bakassi peninsula. Nigeria withdrew its troops from the area in 2006 in line with an international court ruling which awarded sovereignty to Cameroon.
In November 2007 the Nigerian senate passed a motion declaring as illegal the Nigeria-Cameroon agreement for the Bakassi Peninsula to be handed over to Cameroon.
Internally, there are tensions over the two mainly English-speaking southern provinces. A secessionist movement, the Southern Cameroon National Council (SCNC), emerged in the 1990s and has been declared as illegal.
Cameroon has one of the highest literacy rates in Africa. However, the country's progress is hampered by a level of corruption that is among the highest in the world.
In 1986 Cameroon made the world headlines when poisonous gases escaped from Lake Nyos, killing nearly 2,000 people.

10 years on, it sure is great to have the Funk Doctor Spock and Ticallion Stallion back together. We’ve had some decent solo albums in the meantime, but the chemistry between these supremely talented blunt brothers has always been one of the very best to come out of the ‘90s golden era.
Heads have been seeking out the new material for a while, and although this album is admittedly not quite as anticipated as Raekwon’s imminent Cuban Linx sequel, the original Blackout! album has stood the test of time surprisingly well – and their debut 1995 single How High is a certified classic.
On first listen this album sounds like it really could have been made ten years ago. With a mouth-watering producer line-up of ‘90s hit-makers such as DJ Scratch, Erick Sermon, Havoc, Rockwilder, Pete Rock etc. the listener will find it virtually impossible not to bob their head throughout this feel-good set. Top choice is the lead single A-Yo. With an uplifting soulful groove provided by Pete Rock, Red & Meth’s humourous and boastful verses perfectly compliment Saukrate’s breezy, anthemic hook – with the right push this could have easily been as big as Lupe’s Superstar. Dangerous Mcees is produced by long term Reggie Noble cohort Erick Sermon and rings off like a banger, with the duo trading tight lyricism and the chant "game over" to anyone testing them, while equally hard-hitting is Rockwilder’s cut Hey Zulu.
Additional strong tracks include the pulsating, pitch-changing Errbody Scream with Redman’s fellow Hit Squad alumni Keith Murray on classic form, and the Isley Brothers-sampling City Lights featuring UGK’s Bun B (which is the most modern-sounding cut on the album, utilizing a downtempo vibe and sample-stabbing hook suited to new schoolers like T.I. or Weezy). Another highlight is the Ghostface Killah and Raekwon collabo Four Minutes To Lockdown, which feels like a vintage slab of mid-‘90s Wu action. Also deserving a mention is I Know Sumptn, a King David-produced track designed to get people on the dancefloor and cutting some shapes.
Blackout! 2 contains enough punchlines, witty one-liners, brags, put-downs, blunted/ drunken-party antics and general lyrical dynamics all complimented by consistently high quality production, to keep heads more than happy. The only negatives would be the non-memorable guest appearances from newcomers scattered throughout the set, and a few of the more pedestrian (albeit far from wack) tracks like Neva Herd Dis B4, A Lil’ Bit and opening track I’m Dope N----. That aside, this album is an essential purchase for Red & Meth fans, and is more than a worthy purchase for those new to the duo’s work and open to witnessing two of hip hop’s greatest emcees still enjoying the ride.
