Hello everyone! It's been 8 months and 10 days to be exact, since the last time I made a pose here..whew!...quite long isn't it?. Well I think I'm just “pre-occupied” for so long and didn't bother to update my blog, if you classify the word “pre-occupied” as being “too lazy” count me in!haha Yes honestly I admit that I'm too lazy updating my blog. One thing I could remember is the time when I become a night shift agent or working in the nocturnal shift I seldom update my blog and eventually lost interest of it, maybe that's one of the reasons why. There are many things happened in my life recently, the places I've visited and the never ending-story of my life. I went through ups and downs lately, but manage to hold on. Thank God and to all those people who's always their for me. So much for that I'm kinda excited to back in blogging again, It's like a feeling being reunited with your long lost best friend. I really missed blogging so much and my cyber friends as well. See you in my next post!

Advance Birthday Celebration with my family

Even though my birthday is on October 1, 2009 and it’s a working day I decided to celebrate my birthday with my family in advance. My primary plan is to go to Samal Island, but since I have this up coming trip in Singapore I decided to celebrate my birthday here instead. It’s a usual family bond celebration we went to the mall strolling and have some snacks, and then we spend our dinner in Garden Fresca located in Coca Cola Village. Actually it’s my first time to be in that place my friend Raquel is the one who suggest it to me, she told me it was a nice place to spend time with family. So

I thought of trying it, the place didn’t disappoint me it was a nice place indeed, good ambiance and one of the romantic places I went …why I considered it romantic? Well aside from floating cottages they offer (“unfortunately we didn’t experience that coz it’s raining that time and the management decides to close it for a while, well we stay in their outdoor cottages”) they also have this “harana” thing, people who plays guitar while singing. We really enjoy their “harana”, they play both old local (pinoy) and foreign songs in fact we keep on requesting song from them..hehe…I also considered that place magical and mysterious, why? Well I’m going to save it in my next post. To sum it up we had a good dinner in Garden Fresca and I wished to go back soon.:)

Green Team Won!

Last September 21, 2009 our company Eversun Software or AOV held an event for their employees. It’s a Musical and Literary held in Jack’s Ridge, the admin divided the agents in 4 colors green, yellow, red and blue for groupings and also the admin also came up in it’s own group color and that is pink. I belong in the green team which is I really considered myself lucky. Aside from being co-team mates of the two brilliant talented men in Aov Raquel and Arjay the singer and the choreographer, we also have amazing members who really have this extraordinary effort, perseverance and dedication plus initiative. It’s not hard for me to coordinated with this people. Despite of lack of time for practice we manage to present in front which I really considered as a good entertainment to everyone.

For our solo song entry obviously it’s for Raquel, The duet is Raquel and Kiev, In our dance group competition Arjay serves as our choreographer, “thanks nong” the dancers are yours truly, Mads Joanna, Chai, Mae, Joy, Jocel, Cyzel, Jonathan, Majar and Mario, while in our comic strips we pick the funniest guys in the group (“see in the video and you will be dying laughing…hehe”). We came out with a green shirt with “Green Team @Everson Software Phil. Corp.” printed on it. I hate to admit it but obviously we are serious in this event…hehe serious but having fun. All teams also do their part and perform well in front (“good job guys!”), especially the admins. We consider them as one of the group that is hard to bet. Actually we are expecting 3rd or 2nd runner up, but we won the grand prize. I think green team deserve it, don’t get me wrong guys I’m not saying this coz I’m part of the team it is because I see and experience the teamwork of green team (“from pictorial down to performing on stage…hehe”).

I really consider myself as one of the luckiest person that night, aside from my team won the grand prize I also won a 2nd prize in the raffle I won a camel rice cooker, see? “LUCK” knocks at my door that night. That night is full of fun, Jack’s Ridge is a stunning place to hold such an activity like this, the food is remarkably delightful. To the admins I congratulate all of you to come up with this outstanding event. It’s start well and ends well, everyone goes home with a big smile and all of us have a good time. Congratulations to all the team!

Friday gimik with my kumare

It’s been a long time since my last bond with my kumare’s, if my memory is accurate I think the last time I bond with them is last year, am I right mga mareng?. Friday morning in the office I received an invitation from my mads Bevs to go out with them “thanks mads” actually I’m hesitate to accept the invitation cause I’m not in the mood to go out that night, but after having a scrumptious dinner with Naldy (“thanks mine”) I decided to go out with them. I called them up and confirm that I will be going to MTS. We drink and talk about anything, the usual thing we do before. We enjoyed seeing Jayson playing on stage and got the chance to talk to him after. As always we went home with a big smile in our face “thanks for the wonderful night mga mareng!”

Bonding time with friends

I had a lovely Saturday night out with my close friends in the office. My lovely friend Raquel is the one who plans this night out, she proposed to eat dinner in “Antonios” located in Torres. It’s a mouthwatering and a luscious dinner experience, the food that Antonio’s offer is really lip-smacking good specially the “Bulalo”, now I don’t have the right to opposed why Raquel’s craving for it. After the dinner we went to Torres in Jickong to have a drink of our all time favorite “kamikaze”, night-out wouldn’t be complete without that drink. We left Torres after finishing the 1 bottle of kamikaze. We didn’t feel staying there for so long it’s a crowded place already. We go straight to Damosa for another chill, Jhey and Kai enjoyed drinking their gilbeys while the four of us me, Raquel, Chai , Arriane enjoyed sipping four-season juice. All throughout the night we keep on talking and laughing, Jhey and Kai is such a good entertainer. We went home at 2 o’clock I’m not sure about the time, I didn’t noticed it cause frankly I’m superb with the enjoyment that night “Thank you Guys!”

Mom and Dad 25th Anniversary

Last August 21,2009 is my parent’s 25th Anniversary known as “silver anniversary”, before I dream to throw a huge party for them or organize a wedding just to renew their bows once again, but since I’m out of penny now I can’t afford that thing (sad) “I’m sorry mom and dad just wait 5 yrs from now, maybe this dream will finally come true..hehe, well see”. Well being out of penny doesn’t give me hindrance to make this special moment of my parents to be memorable. We celebrate it by going to the beach in Blue Jazz just the four of us, we stay there for a night. It’s really nice feeling to be with my family that time. We talk, drink, eat and do a lot of swimming. It’s a night full of laughs and bonding moments, and that’s also the time that I finally confess to my parents that I will be going to Singapore this October (“Blue jazz lang pala ang katapat..hehe”). I thought I will be receiving a negative reaction on that matter but to my surprise their all excited, more excited than me…”hehe, thanks mama and papa”. I’m so proud that my parents reach 25 years as a couple, 25 years is not that easy. Here’s a poem that I will dedicate for them.

Who would expect that I could be able to face the camera once again? Honestly I myself never thought about that, even though I really love being on cam…hehe. I remember the last time I have a photo shoot it was last January this year and I’ve never expected to have a photo shoot again. I’m thankful to Tammy and Rafa for inviting me, to become their model. For me it was a dream come true, if you talk about the theme I guarantee that it’s 100% dream come true, obviously the theme is a princess theme..yehey! I jump for joy when I finally know the plan. It was just a childish dream that now happens in real life. In my whole life I’ve never wear a gown, but now I dress up as a princess wear a nice and elegant gown, with a crown and complete accessories thanks to my friends Kai, Jes and Chai for helping me out.

The photo shot happens in Eden Garden a perfect place for our theme. I’m not the only model my friend Raquel is one of their model also the theme is “angel”. Actually it was a tiring photoshoot..hehe, imagine walking in the woods wearing a huge gown, but I’m thankful for this become a princess for one day. It’s a wonderful experience that someday I can be able to share it to my grandchildren when I get old and of course I can’t end this post without thanking my talented photographers, “thank you guys I really love all the pictures see you all next photoshoot, this is one of the memories that I can treasure forever. “

Weekend with my Night Shift F.R.I.E.N.D.S

It’s almost a month since I transfer in day shift again as far as I remember it’s been 7 months working in a night shift. Honestly it’s tiring to be in a nocturnal shift, I felt exhausted the time when I reached 6 months. Actually it’s not healthy in both of my job and my health I’m not productive anymore, that’s why I keep on prying every night to be back in day shift. Good thing God really answer my prayer he gave me a client that is prefer to work in daytime. Even though my wish granted it’s such a distressing part for me also, I know I will going to miss my friends in night shift…my row mates and the people I’ve been hanging-out for 7 months. I miss being with them throwing jokes and teasing each other, I miss the breakfast routine after the shift and of course the birthday party celebration, every time there is a celebrant we celebrate he’s or her birthday in the pantry, in day shift we didn’t do that. Hahayzzz….. Well after our SEO seminar I get a chance to bond with them again, we support Eversun basketball team we cheer while holding a different colors of balloon but unfortunately they lost…OUCH!..Its ok we did enjoy the game, did we? Hehe…After that we had our dinner together spend some of our time talking and throwing jokes again… (“That’s the thing I miss!arrggg”). After dinner all the girls went home while some of the guys spend time to the other place. I went home with a smiling face, I’m just glad I spend my weekend with them. See you again next bonding moments.

Toxic Character

Although we like to think that the people in our lives are well-adjusted, happy, healthy minded individuals, we sometimes realize that it just isn't so. Personally, I've had moments where I'll be skipping through my day, happy as can be, thinking life is grand and BAM, I'll be blindsided by someone who manages to knock the happy wind out of my sails.Sometimes it is easy to write it off and other times, not so much.

Maybe you are a positive person, but when you are around a certain individual, you feel negative. Or, maybe you have an idealistic view of the world and when you are with certain people, you are made to feel silly, unrealistic or delusional. Or, maybe you pride yourself in being completely independent and in control of your life, but when you are around a certain family member, you regress into a state of childhood.

Some of these situations, and yes, these people, can have a tremendously negative impact on our lives. And, although we are all human and have our 'issues,' some 'issues' are quite frankly, toxic. They are toxic to our happiness. They are toxic to our mental outlook. They are toxic to our self-esteem. And they are toxic to our lives. They can suck the life out of us and even shorten our lifespan.

Here are the worst of the toxic personalities out there and how to spot them:

1. Manipulative Mary: These individuals are experts at manipulation tactics. Is a matter of fact, you may not even realize you have been manipulated until it is too late. These individuals figure out what your 'buttons' are, and push them to get what they want.

* Why they are toxic: These people have a way of eating away at your belief system and self-esteem. They find ways to make you do things that you don't necessarily want to do and before you know it, you lose your sense of identity, your personal priorities and your ability to see the reality of the situation. The world all of a sudden becomes centered around their needs and their priorities.

2. Narcissistic Nancy: These people have an extreme sense of self-importance and believe that the world revolves around them. They are often not as sly as the Manipulative Marys of the world, but instead, tend to be a bit overt about getting their needs met. You often want to say to them "It isn't always about you."

* Why they are toxic: They are solely focused on their needs, leaving your needs in the dust. You are left disappointed and unfulfilled. Further, they zap your energy by getting you to focus so much on them, that you have nothing left for yourself.

3. Debbie Downers: These people can't appreciate the positive in life. If you tell them that it is a beautiful day, they will tell you about the impending dreary forecast. If you tell them you aced a mid-term, they'll tell you about how difficult the final is going to be.

* Why they are toxic: They take the joy out of everything. Your rosy outlook on life continues to get squashed with negativity. Before you know it, their negativity consumes you and you start looking at things with gray colored glasses yourself.

4. Judgmental Jims: When you see things as cute and quirky, they see things as strange and unattractive. If you find people's unique perspectives refreshing, they find them 'wrong'. If you like someone's eclectic taste, they find it 'disturbing' or 'bad'.

* Why they are toxic: Judgmental people are much like Debbie Downers. In a world where freedom rings, judgment is sooo over. If the world was a homogeneous place, life would be pretty boring. Spending a lot of time with these types can inadvertently convert you into a judgmental person as well.

5. Dream Killing Keiths: Every time you have an idea, these people tell you why you can't do it. As you achieve, they try to pull you down. As you dream, they are the first to tell you it is impossible.

* Why they are toxic: These people are stuck in what is instead of what could be. Further, these individuals eat away at your self-esteem and your belief in yourself. Progress and change can only occur from doing new things and innovating, dreaming the impossible and reaching for the stars.

6. Insincere Illissas: You never quite feel that these people are being sincere. You tell a funny story, they give you a polite laugh. You feel depressed and sad and they give you a 'there, there' type response. You tell them you are excited about something and you get a very ho-hum response.

* Why they are toxic: People who aren't sincere or genuine build relationships on superficial criteria. This breeds shallow, meaningless relationships. When you are really in need of a friend, they won't be there. When you really need constructive criticism, they would rather tell you that you are great the way you are. When you need support, they would rather see you fail or make a fool of yourself.

7. Disrespectful Dannys: These people will say or do things at the most inappropriate times and in the most inappropriate ways. In essence, they are more subtle, grown up bullies. Maybe this person is a friend who you confided in and uses your secret against you. Maybe it is a family member who puts their busy-body nose into your affairs when it is none of their business. Or maybe, it is a colleague who says demeaning things to you.

* Why they are toxic: These people have no sense of boundaries and don't respect your feelings or, for that matter, your privacy. These people will cause you to feel frustrated and disrespected.

8. Never Enough Nellies: You can never give enough to these people to make them happy. They take you for granted and have unrealistic expectations of you. They find ways to continually fault you and never take responsibility for anything themselves.

* Why they are toxic: You will spend so much time trying to please them, that you will end up losing yourself in the process. They will require all of your time and energy, leaving you worn out and your own needs sacrificed.

All of these personalities have several things in common. 1) the more these people get away with their behavior, the more they will continue. 2) Unfortunately, most of these people don't see that what they do is wrong and as a result, talking to them about it will fall on deaf ears, leaving you
wondering if you are the crazy one. 3) Most of these people get worse with age, making their impact on you stronger with time. Frankly, life is too short to spend your time dealing with toxicity.

If you can, avoid spending much of your time with people who are indicative of these
behaviors and you'll feel a lot happier. Have you encountered these personalities? What have you done? Any personalities you would add?

I'm a certified Barn Buddy Addict

I’m not usually falling for games online well I did enjoy playing some of them just to freed boredom but not to the extent to be addicted or indulge myself with it. As for the record way back in college the only game that I can say I get addicted or attached is the “ Sim’s” game I’ve spend much of my time just playing that game. Well that addiction happened again just recently my co-workers discover one of the game application in facebook it’s called “Barn Buddy” . In this game you will plant and harvest different variety of veggies and fruits. The funny thing about this game is that you can be able to stole your friends plant and earn a gold point, each plants has a corresponding points.

If you’re not clever enough to watch your barn I’m sure you don’t have anything to harvest, oh well just blame your friends for that...hehe...Anywayz a dog can help you watching your barn with that evil thieves...OUCH! I’m one of the thieves, do I have to consider myself as an evil? haha...In order to get a dog you have to recruit 10 friends. If you ask me if I had a dog in my barn, well I’m proud to say that my loving friends help me get a doggie!yehey! Actually I forced some of them to add that application to their facebook (charm2x lang na...haha “Thank you Guys…love you all...muah”).

Why should I consider myself as a certified addict in this game? Well just this three simple indication first I’ve spend a lot of my time in this game, second I even used an alarm just to wake me up so that I can harvest my barn in the exact time and the worst is that whenever I’m outside or not getting online in one day I get worried about my barn..:(…I will let you stole my crops if you think that symptoms is not consider as a “Barn Buddy” addict...haha... Well for me this game is fun and thought I want to share to all of you specially those people who really play games in facebook. Oh don’t worry you will not become an ugly-crazy-freak, just a simple addiction. Opps better go now I have to harvest my barn, see yah!

How to live with your love happily ever after

When we fall in love, we usually think that's all we'll need to be happy. However, when reality sets in and we have our first real argument, we get hit with the realization that our partner isn't perfect.

In the beginning of a relationship we do our best to give our partner the benefit of the doubt, expressing our love and goodwill, even when we're upset. However, as time goes on, it can get harder to resolve arguments and, therefore, harder to feel loving and forgiving towards our partner.

It's at these times that we start to ask ourselves, is there a secret to making a relationship last? Is it really possible to live happily ever after?
The answer to these questions is, "Yes!" However, the hardest question to answer is: How do we do it? How do I have a lasting, happy relationship that doesn't end in a painful breakup?

The first thing to remember is that keeping a partnership healthy and happy requires work and that it will not happen on its own -- just like a flower won't grow if it isn't watered and fed. Relationships need nurturing, tending to, time, and energy! We often forget that a couple contains two human beings who both need to be appreciated, heard, valued, and respected.

With this in mind, here are seven ways to make your relationship last:

1. Keep the lines of communication open. If you don't know how to express your feelings and/or have poor listening skills, learn to get better at both. You can read a book, take a class, or get into counseling. Good communication requires both the ability to express and listen.

2. Don't sweep your fights under the rug and think they'll magically resolve themselves. Do your best to resolve your first argument as soon as it arises so you won't have the same argument for the next 50 years, in different forms.

3. Remember that you love your partner; therefore, you want the best for her/him. Give her/him the benefit of the doubt when you feel angry, hurt, or disappointed. Talk to your partner; don't make assumptions.

4. Don't take your partner for granted. Tell your partner every day something you appreciate about her/him and how grateful you are to have them in your life.

5. Your partner should never feel like your enemy. If they do, something is wrong; remember that you fell in love with this person. If there's so much anger that you feel like you are enemies, get help somewhere as quickly as possible.

6. Gauge your relationship. Notice and don't ignore the warning signs if you're not talking, you're less affectionate, you're fighting all the time, and you're not happy. The sooner you acknowledge you're having problems, the sooner you can begin to solve them.

7. Always remember that you have the power to change behaviors in your relationship through different tools of self-discovery. You don't have to stay stuck in unhealthy ruts.

Good, lasting relationships are made up of two conscious individuals who have the desire to work on themselves with the determination to stay focused on the importance of their relationship. They do not take their partner for granted. They have their partner's best interest at heart and, therefore, build trust with their partner.

When arguments come up, they don't ignore them. They address the issues and try to resolve them. When they see warning signs that their relationship could be in trouble, they act immediately and look for new ways to relate to each other.This can be accomplished by anyone who is willing to take the time and energy to make their relationship a priority in their life. Nurture your partnership as it so richly deserves! You can live happily ever after, not with magic, but with work, awareness, and knowledge of yourself and your partner.

My Houston Rockets Ball

Last week I received a very special gift from my friend Hannah and Jepoy , it's a Houston Rockets Ball that came from Houston. I never expected that Jepoy will take it seriously as far as I remember, when he called Hannah (he's wifey) he's in Houston that time , I told him to bought something for me and that’s a Houston Rockets ball. It's just a joke that he made it seriously...haha...well "Thank you Poy....Van and I like the ball and we even started playing it. Hopefully next time it would be a Cleveland Cavaliers Ball with Lebron James signature..abusado noh?..haha”….

After attending Sunday’s mass I, bro, mom and pops went to SM mall to celebrate Mother’s Day. We took our lunch and snack in there and have some fun in world of fun, shops and have some grocery. It’s really fun to be with my family again celebrating this kind of moments. Last week our company Agents of Value also known as Eversun Software Philippines celebrates its second anniversary. The company celebrates through summer activity held in Gap Farm, although the first choice is in Blue Jazz located in Samal but it’s already fully booked and the admin look for another venue. The place that suit the companies budget no other that Gap farm, it’s kinda disappointing at first because we want to have our summer activity to be held outside Davao.

Regarding on my part I’m disappointed cause Gap farm give me a distressing experience, I almost died in that place particularly in the pool. I didn’t drown if that’s what you think I just lost my breath then later I found myself in the emergency room of Davao Doctor’s Hospital, It’s my final examination in my P.E subject that time. Oh let’s not talk about my “almost died scenario of my life…the important thing is I’m alive...still making this post and I passed my P.E subject even though I didn’t took my final examination..haha...I think that’s fair enough...**wink**”.

Back to the anniversary party honestly some of us is disappointed but when we reach the place all the disappointment is gone. The place is nicer this time unlike before...the admin tried their best to make the party enjoyable, they offer different games and offer us a scrumptious meal, not warp in Styrofoam unlike last year...Speaking of meal it’s all good I love the food they offer, but I didn’t enjoy it the way that I want it to be because my tummy is already full that night. Before we go to Gap my friends and I dine in KFC that’s our meeting place that day. The party is fun and its worth for me to be there and participate in some of the games. Thanks to the admin’s and althone our A.S for the undying picture taking...haha...I really did enjoy that part”I’m camera addict...remember? haha”. After the party my friends in night shift decided to go to Damosa to chill out.. drinking and talking. Then I went to my cousins crib to spend the rest of my night. I went home exactly 8 a.m.

Last week my good friend Beverly gave me and mom a free facial and hand spa treatment. She endorsed and let us tries her newly found products, and that’s Mary Kay. I know many of you know this product already and maybe some of you already tried it, Mary Kay it’s out in the market for many years now. Bev’s gave us tips on how to used or apply their products in a proper way “you’re a certified mary kay endorser! now mareng or later become a mary kay model...yay!” After the facial session given to us by Bev’s Mary kay amaze me, I fall in love with their facial kit in just a matter of minutes. The calmness and fresh feeling I felt when I tried the products, I’m planning to get the facial kit this last week of May because I still have my OLAY. I’m a certified OLAY user actually OLAY is a great product also but the I’m not that satisfied with it that’s why I wanted to switch from OLAY to Mary Kay I hope it’s really suit onto my skin. Like what Bevs told me “Mareng switch to Mary Kay for a new you”...hehe “will Bevs congratulation your slogan is really convincing..:)”.

My PBA Experience

I was known as a certified NBA fanatic, I’m not used to watch the local basketball like PBA it’s cliché but I prefer foreign one that the local. I love the moves and the eagerness of the player of NBA than in PBA I’m not saying that they are not good but sometimes they have a lousy attitude in court, that’s one thing that makes me fell bored. Before I can say I’m a fan of PBA the Patrimonio days, I’m a fan of Alvin P. of Purefoods team I even cried if they lost. I love purefoods team and until now I’m a fan not because of famous Jame’s Yap but this cutie guy on court Peter June Simon, I have a huge crush over him. Last week I got a chance to watch the All Star PBA vs. Philippine Team together with my cousin Elton and my best friend Wilmer.

I have two reason why I go all the way to Panabo first I’m sure you have a clue already it’s because of PJ Simon (I told you he’s my crush!..LOL) and the second one I wanted to catch all the players live, I wanted to experience the moment watching it and the momentum that every player throws inside the court. I wanted to thank our very good friend, we called her “chief” for allowing us to seat on the ring side instead of the upper seat (psstt…hehe “Thanks Chief”.. :)) . Seating on the ring side is a very beneficial thing..(**I really like it!) Well I can’t help myself but to remain standing cause I wanted to take pictures of some players especially Simon, I’m standing so close to the court it’s like 1 meter distance from the player to where I stand..hehe…(“very beneficial..huh?..hehe”).

The player amazed me especially Erick Menk , he’s a really big guy and a certified good looking…weew. Seeing them playing on live is totally a big difference than watching them on T.V. I can feel their strength and the endurance towards the game and their eagerness to win.

The game ends well and I really enjoy it, even though Simon’s team (The All Star PBA team) lost it over Jame’s Yap and Asi Taulava’s team (The Philippine team),it such a privilege watching them live. After the game I realized that PBA is not that bad after all, can I put my name now on the list as a fan?haha..**wink**. I’m looking forward for this next year’s event and I’m hoping I can be able to get in to the player’s locker room..hmmm..Just for a closer pictures only..**wink**.

Since its summer most of us spend time in going to beach, visit some relatives who live in other countries, have some camping together with our families or friends. Cannibad Trip...

It's a blend of bitter and sweet mixture I've experience in Cannibad Island. Although the trip makes you feel tired but I don't even regret going in that place, not a single one I indeed enjoy it. The road is not that good that's the worst part of it"), you can even barely felt the rough intensity of the road ("the tiring part of our trip!") but we still manage and continue to our journey.

Raquel and I shared the same tent, it's quit small luckily we fit in...("diba megs?lami gani tulog naku noh?hehehe..."). When you reach the beach all the tiredness will swept away, It's truly a heaven's paradise. The place amaze me,the water is clear. We go on swimming right away after setting our tent. We spend the whole night eating, drinking, taking pictures and chatting with each other. It's really fun and it's a wonderful experience to treasure.
