My Third Try !!!

Here's another shot at poetry... This is an inspiration from a single line from the Tamil song - Unna Nenachaen (Aboorva Sagidharargal)... The line goes like this

"Andha Vaanam Azhudha Thaan
Indha Bhoomiye sirikkum
Vanam pol silaper
sondha vaazhkaiyum irukkum"

How true this particular line is. The comfort, luxury that we are in the middle of comes at a cost of Jawans who are ready to loose their life to protect us, Farmers who literally spend every ounce of sweat to give us food, Parents who sacrifice everything for their children etc...

How do we ever repay them? Can we? Yes we can. By devoting ourself to the work we do. This one small sacrifice by every individual will make India best among best. Here is one such small sacrifice by something which we depend upon many a times to make our life bright...

I hate Power shut down
Thats when fire catches my crown
I hate candle light dinner
For it makes me thinner

I like Candle stand
That's the land I command
I like Electric lights
For it delays my death rites

I detest fire
Since it lays me in pyre
Although my shine is duller
I come in attractive color(s)

Surrender yourself to the goal
You will be a satisfied soul
If you are planning to niggle
Think of me, I am the Dwindling Candle!!!

This term is specifically for those who are going to be executed by the “Old Sparky” (Electric Chair).

There are a few things in life which makes you sad, feel very low that you cry. There are a few more things which make your cheeks wet, jus a sparkle of tears from your eyes without the knowledge of yourself; but make your heart crumble.

This was one such moment in my life. The credit goes to this culprit “The Green Mile”. One of the movies I might never forget in my life. I mentally prepared my mind to see a movie where I have to focus on Direction, Beauty of work, Photography and action. But I never thought this movie would affect me so much.

The movie through out hints so many things a man can inflict in ones character. Have you ever lived with someone whom you know is going die and counting his\her days? You will when you see this movie.

The story revolves around an officer and his associated who are in charge of the Block E (Place where death sentenced spend their last few days), An arrogant policeman (new recruit with high contacts), An innocent, monstrous giant (accused) who is afraid of darkness.

The first positive approach to fulfill a dying man’s wish was to rename the block as “The Green Mile”. The inmates are kept happy, given respect, treated with care and made sure that they spend their last few days with peace of mind.

Apart from words of comfort, a pet rat that everyone loves, care and affection, this movie tells us a story of a man who executes a prisoner knowing he is innocent. How awful it will be to kill someone whom you know to be harmless. John Coffey is accused of murdering 2 little gals and is sentenced to death. He is afraid of dark. He has a miracle power to absorb someone’s pain to himself and let it out. When we get to know this guy, we get reminded of the words strange, weird, bizarre, pity etc…

He cures Paul’s (Officer in charge of the green mile) Urinary infection, Gives life to a pet rat, and Cures the incurable brain tumor of an innocent woman. He gives some of his power to Paul which makes him realize that he dint kill the 2 gals. Its his turn to sit on the “old sparky” the next day. The movie is directed in such an emotional manner that when he sits on the chair, a tear or two glides unknowingly from your eyes.

The punishment Paul gets (for executing John) is to live a long life (108 years), a cursed life. He sees so many people die. His wife, friends, and people he meets. Paul justifies it as his atonement for executing God’s own miracle, John. He is accompanied by none other than the Rat which lived.

This movie raises so many questions in my mind. It questions the very existence of God himself. Why should he create a miracle like John, make him suffer in this cruel world, and finally present him to the electric chair. Why does he make the world cruel? Why?

Here it is anyway. I have always wondered the importance of language in this world. There are over 6800 different languages spoken in all in this world.

There was a time when i though how can people even dream of communicating without some sort of language. Now, that comes to classification of Languages.

1. Languages that can be spoken
2. Sign language used by differently abled (please refer to Deaf & Dumb in this context)
3. any other form of direct communication...

Now, you might wonder I classified the languages in such a generic manner. This topic deals with my conception that, people misinterpret more when people use language that can be spoken than the sign language. The reason behind this topic is that i witnessed a couple of situation where i was mind-blown by the way 2 differently abled pair communicated between them. The other reason is because of the numerous occasions when i have witnessed people misinterpreting what they were actually told.

Situation 1:

I was on my way to office on a gloomy morning. Normally, I settle for a nap right after I get a comfortable seat. Today was something different. Two smartly dressed guys entered the compartment. There was something different in them. They sat near me such that one of them sat adjacent to me and another right opposite to me. The next moment the guy next to me started reading the newspaper. His was was glued to some sports page and he was trying to make the other person read the same news. They started communicating on the topic they both read. I was observing them through out. Both of their face expressions portrayed no sign of disagreement and misinterpretation. It was kind of a leisure talk between two people on a casual topic.

Situation 2:

This time I was on the way back to home when I saw this small incident happen. The train entered the station and stopped as usual. There was no usual bustle in the station. A guy dropped into the wagon followed by another one carrying 2 bags. the train started and the guy who carried the bags got down fro the train on to the platform. There was some kind of confusion in the man who first entered and rushed to the door. In those small tense moments, he was asking the guy something. His sign language told me he was asking the other guy where was <something>. Had he kept it in one of the bags? And the other guy again showed something in reply which looked like it was in some pocket of the bag and the other man showed a thumbs up sign.</something>

Some striking feature in both the incidents were, there was no misconception (as far as i saw), no repetition in what was communicated, crystal clear understanding of things. These are two completely different scenarios which made me think a lot about how they and we communicate. I have also been in numerous situations where people normally ask pardon and ask to repeat what was said to them because they dint understand.

There are various factors why a misconception occurs. Mindset of people, not concentrating on what was put across them, lack of eye contact, lack of interest, lack of grasping power etc... But, a couple of most important things that occurred to me in the sign language that are lacking in the normal spoken languages - I have given below. Not every speaker has the art of keeping the audience glued to what he tells.

Now, to think of it, I can think of various advantages in the sign language when implemented.

1. You can't afford to take your eyes of the person communicating to you.
2. You have no other option other than so respond clearly to the person who communicated to you.

These two are one of the most important things in the rules of communication. These 2 enhances many things that normal communication lacks. The eye-2-eye contact which makes both the people in conversation occupied, conversation interesting. The eye-2-eye contact will enhance the understanding of the receiver and easy for the transmitter to throw things across the border. All these factors makes the misinterpreting probability to a minimum level.

There is also another factor which leads to misconception. The meaning of the words in language. There are numerous words which gives completely different meaning to itself in different scenarios. Chameleons as they are called - acts in a different perception altogether in different situations. I really doubt if the same sign i the sign language has different meaning in different situations. Their dictionary(if existing) is smaller than ours. The time spent might also be less, perhaps, than we spend in communicating a topic across.

Now, think of it, how many times have we been misunderstood that has led to quarrels, repetition what was already said, response from others. People even tend not to respond since they dint listen properly in the first pace. All these small , yet, biiiggg factors influence the communication.

Sometimes, I wonder if we need language at all to communicate when there are other forms of communication, difficult to implement, yes, but more effective.

No wonder... It's like a forgotten tale..

As rightly said, "The only phenomenon that doesn't change in this world is, 'course CHANGE itself". The world is advancing technologically as I write this topic. It seems like for every nano second there is sumthing thats happening new in this world.

This has had a major impact on the People's mindset. People have become boredom of experiencing something which they have already experienced. The present mindset of each and every individual in this world is to expect sumthing new, sumthing fresh, sumthing that has not yet experienced by them. This has led to competition in each and ever field one can think of. One such field, which has existed for decades together is CINEMA/MOVIES.

In today's world, the movies are more of a extravaganza, more of masala, more of a commercial business; which is healthy in a point of view, but very unhealthy if quality of the work created is concerned. If you carefully scrutinize the quality of movies that are releasing now a days, most of the movies are jus crap. There are quite a few movies which maintains its class. otherwise, in general, the quality of movies are declining... In fact, I have to carefully choose films to be seen, read reviews online, rating it gets and then decide whether to watch or not.

Then i came to know bout these Classic film-noir's from good friend of mine, God bless him. I started watching old movies. Film noir - a term used to describe stylish crime dramas, which in general came in between the period of early 1940's and late 1950's. More info on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_noir

Now, when i see these movies, I cannot even think of how the directors, cameramen & co. were so clever enough to create movies like this. they never had the comfort of graphics, technological advancements of today, high budget, quality cameras used these days and the list goes on and on; and yet here they are with one of the most classical, most scintillating, most thrilling, nail biting, nerve wracking movie of all the time. The film noir's are still considered to be one of the top class films ever. They have all the ingredients to make the movie a true classic - Style, Pace, Crystal Clear dialogs, the way the movies were directed, the way the actors had acted, the way the viewer feels after seeing the movie, and what ever you name it you got it.

The first movie I saw in this category was "12 Angry Men". I started to see the movie after midnight, say 1 30 am. I was hoping it would keep me awake and I can enjoy seeing the movie lying on my lovely bed with the AC turned fully on. I never thought this would happen. It totally shattered all my plans, it was not even 30min since the movie stared, I was sitting erect like a statue glued to the TV listening intently to each and every dialog.

I was flabbergasted. I would have never dreamt of a movie with 12 different characters discussing a murder case in a single room for 2 hours would make such a good movie. It was taken in such a way that it made me feel the modern movies are fit for nothing. That was the day i started watching old classics and I have never regretted my decision still and I doubt I would in future.

One thing that makes me feel bad is that, many people don't know these movies even exist. I do hope some day they come to know bout these films and watch them and enjoy. Some of the movies which i can recommend are as follows...
1. 12 Angry men
2. The Third Man
3. Double Indemnity
4. The Maltese Falcon
5. Beyond a reasonable doubt
6. The Big Sleep
7. To Kill a Mockingbird
8. Detour

The list goes on and on... Try these and you ll never regret it.. :)

Our Trip to Love Dale...

On the High...!

Boy!! Is it true…?

At last, the plan which we was being planned over for a year was coming true. It was freezing chill that’s was running down our body parts when we landed on the LoveDale Platform after

a fun ride in the Toy train from Mettupaalayam. We trekked our way to what was going to be our residence for next couple of days. Lovely resort named – Hill Country, LoveDale.

A few facts first to begin with, LoveDale was a nowhere place. It was entirely created by English. It’s an artificial town with an ethnic population of around 1000.

The sole establishment in the vicinity is Lawrence School which is one of the top ranked residential schools in India. Hope I had my schooling there, jus think, nice weather, superb atmosphere.. wow... it wud be great...

One can reach LoveDale either by toy train from Mettupaalayam or by any means of transport from Ooty. It’s about 5kms from Ooty. Surprisingly, The Queen of Hills (Ooty) is situated below LoveDale. I.e. LoveDale is the higher than Ooty and obviously cooler.

Our day started with Sightseeing. The places were divided between Cunoor and Ooty. We covered Boating, Suicide Point, Military area which was spotlessly clean, the famous tea estates. The best in all was the Doddabetta peek. The sheer cold made our body numb. The weather changed in seconds from clear sky to a moody coverage of black clouds.

We were forced by Mother Nature to hire a couple of heaters to get a decent sleep. The next day stared with Trekking of the hill where we were staying. It was a panoramic view of the hills and the toy train which resembled a toy. It was a tiresome trip all the way down and up which we made just before afternoon.

Finally, it was time to bid adieu to Lovedale and came back to board the train back to Chennai. With a craving heart, left the peaceful place and it was way back to heat.

It was entirely de-stressing to spend some time in a lovely place like this, getting away from sleepless nights, hectic work, tension… If you really feel down, believe me, get a couple of days off and go for a trip, be it lonely or with friends… It’s a natural healer.

These Kinda movies teaches us, atleast me, something. When I finish seeing these movies, I come out wondering a lot of things and stuff like that.

Second, is films made for acting especially... There are quite a majority of films which depend heavily on actors and performance by them rather than jus masala, songs, item numbers etc... For eg. K.S.Ravikumar gives more importance to his direction, screenplay, editing rather than songs which are of not that important for his films to shine.

One of the most challenging roles, I think, face by everyone would be POLICE AAPICER.Because, its not that easy to portey simply a police officer since it requires hard work and determination, surely lot more than other characters in general.

There are some basic things an actor shud possess and deliver when he is characterising a police officer. I feel the list is as follows...
1. Age
2. Gethu
3. Build
4. Moustache
5. Majestic looks and commanding tone

Age is one of the most important factors as far as police roles are concerned. Because only age can show the maturity in face which make up cant. Typically, the actor should atleast be in late 30's or atleast he should seem to look like a man @ this age.

Gethu is something which should be like a shadow to police officer. Everyone should either be afraid or give respect by jus seeing you. This will only come when the actor is aged and has required build.

Now, Build is something which is mandatory for these type of roles. The actor personality'a irukanum paaka. Appa thaan andha GETHU varum. Paatha bayapaduvaanga. His body need not be like Arnold which would indeed spoil the role itself. Jus fit with toned muscles would do.

Moustache... This may seem funny or trivial. But Its one thing which changes the entire looks of the actor. Many say one can even judge by the way his moustache is. I can't seem to think of any role of police played without moustache and has been very effective.

Makestic Looks and Commanding tones are essential factors one should look upon becasue its the look of a police which makes others catious and his tone which makes others think twice befoer they act.

Here are some roles from films/characters and corresponding actor which I think are best.

1. Sivaji Ganesan - Thanga Padhakkam
2. Alex Paandian - Rajinikanth
3. Agni Natchatiram - Prabhu
4. Kaaka Kaaka - Surya (encounter specialist - almost related to Police)
5. Bheeshma - Ranjith
6. Sarath Kumar - Sooriyan and a fwe more
7. Kamalhaasan - Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadhu, Kurudhi Punal
8. Arjun - Quite a few to name
9. Raguman - Ram
10. Sathyaraj - Valder Vetrivel
11. Jaishankar - Nicknamed - Tamizhagathu James Bond
12. Prakash Raj - Giri, Anniyan
13. Saamy - Vikram
14. CharanRaj (i think) - Gentleman

These are some roles worth mentioning which has all teh characterstics required for the role. Some of these roles ahve even become trend setters and inspiration for others. I might hav missed a few points... Lemme give u small examples...

1. Communication - flow of thoughts to others
2. Our actions - Flow of signals from brain to parts of body
3. Our existence - Flow of Oxygen inside and flow of Carbon-di-oxide out..

so if u take anything that's happening in this worlds some flow of matter is occurring that makes it happen.. I know wat u r thinking - how is this concerned with the question that's asked ? I m coming to that... now, the answer of the very question that's asked can be arrived at by answering another question - which is - WHEN CAN FLOW OF MATTER OCCUR ?

Take a small equation... X = Y - This is a perfectly balanced equation and hence there is nothing to move from LHS to RHS..

Take this equation.. X = Y + 1 : Now if u see this equation there is something not rite or there is basically an imbalance in this equation. This is the case and the only case which leads to FLOW OF MATTER.. an imbalance in the equation..

Y = X - 1.. now there is a flow of matter...

Thus a flow can occur only wen there is an imbalance. A system can thus be defined in this way, A System is a combination of imbalanced equations.

These equations try to balance each other (flow of matter) and this makes the system work. Thus a system cannot work if there are perfectly balanced equations.

This postulate can now be applied to GOD's creation. God created HUMANS. How can they survive? Food was the answer. so He created another set of equations called Plants and Animals. Animals consume humans as well as plants and plants consume CO2 from Humans and animals. So Humans, plants, Animals are some of the imbalanced equations in this world that makes the system working.

This also leads to another fact which cannot be argued upon. When a system has imbalance in it how can it be PERFECT ? Hence, this also concludes that NO SYSTEM CAN BE PERFECT !

Thus, we can see that without imbalance we cannot survive. A system can only sustain if and only if it given the required amount of load. If its overloaded it ll stop. Thus, Calamities, diseases, various forms of Deaths were created to make the system not to be overloaded.

So, Is GOD cruel after all ? If all this cannot be argued upon He is indeed good then... Imagine a plus without embedded minus sign in it... thre wont be PLUS at all... Plus cannot be without minus.

These NEGATIVES i discussed about is jus a high level version with respect to wats goin to be discusses in next post. Why there are Negatives among imbalances (Humans)..

PS: Plz Comment ur views and critics. No need to login.

In reality, it is 200 years later, and the world has been laid waste and taken over by advanced artificial intelligence machines. The computers have created a false version of 20th-century life--the "Matrix"--to keep the human slaves satisfied, while the AI machines draw power from the humans... Humans are mere batteries from which Bio-Energy is being drawn so that Machines can survive. "The Matrix" is a virtual world incorporated in minds of humans who are converted into batteries. Its one of the ingenious works of human mind, thinking of a concept that cannot be even imagined be others. This post is strictly my views on How OUR LIFE is THE MATRIX...

hmm.... from child hood think of all the things that are happening... almost everyone following same pattern of life.. going to school, get educated, find a suitable job, get married, form a family and then finally die... This is how life goes for almost everyone born... Isn't it a little weird ? That everyone human follows the same pattern ?

i can give a good example to support my theory... Imagine a gal into her teenage, studying in college. This is the age where she starts looking for her life partner and others start looking at her. As time goes y she gets a good BF and starts loving him. After a few years they love each other, they look forward to start a fresh life of their own.

Now, If anyone ask a question to that particular gal or guy - "Is ur BF/GF the best person u could find ?" Without any surprise the answer will be Yes, 'course. There is not one equal to him as far as I am concerned. Now she/he has a few close friends of opposite sex, who also love that guy/gal. If he/she proposes after she/he is committed then one can argue - wats wrong with this guy/gal ? He/She s a good friend of urs.. why not marry this guy/gal ? Wats there in the person u r committed to that s not found in this guy/gal ?

If that second guy/gal who proposes is as good as the person to which he/she is committed to he/she will surely feel for that person since he/she is a close friend and moreover a good friend of u.

If u think a little ironically, (If the person to which u r committed to and the person who proposed to u are both good enough) the only way u can answer this guy/gal is to say "Sorry friend ! You are a bit too late, Since I m already committed i cant accept your proposal"... this can be ur only explanation....

So the only thing which made the huge difference is "Who was first". This depends on many factors. The person committed to should have already seen the gal/guy before the person who proposed second.

Lets keep X - Person Committed to , Y - Who proposed. Lets imagine both are guyz.. so X wud have seen the gal during college time itself and Y wud have seen her during her work. There is nothing which Y could have done to see the gal before X. Its entirely X's fortune that he saw her first and Y's Misfortune that he saw her second. Who knows, Y might have been better person than X if he had seen the gal first... Whoever it is X or Y, the gal would surely say her BF is the best person she cud have hoped for regardless of being it X/Y.

This very situation is jus a small example which happens in day 2 day life. So, there is something beyond our control which has already decided our life, our destination. Some call it Fate.

Why cant it be the case of Matrix. Jus instead of Machines keeping humans as batteries and creating artificial dream like world where humans live jus inside their mind - Imagine it being some superior power who has created a world inside our mind which is wat we are living. Imagine us being jus Pawns in some huge game of Chess..

If this is real - Wat might be the motive ? Wat are we actually? Whatever is happening - is it actually happening? —v. (-ving) 1 feel love or a deep fondness for. 2 delight in; admire; greatly cherish. 3 colloq. like very much (loves books). 4 (foll. by verbal noun, or to + infin.) be inclined, esp. as a habit; greatly enjoy (children love dressing up; loves to run). fall in love (often foll. by with) suddenly begin to love. for love for pleasure not profit. for the love of for the sake of. in love (often foll. by with) enamoured (of). make love (often foll. by to) 1 have sexual intercourse (with). 2 archaic pay amorous attention (to). not for love or money colloq. not in any circumstances. [Old English]

There are many forms of love as described above....

Deep passion , Fondness, Related to sex, Care for, Delighted in his/her company, infactuation.. etc etc...

One has to be extremely careful in judging wat kinda love he/she is experiencing with. If anyon mis-interpretes this feelign then he is lost almost forever. Loving a guy/Gal is actually very easy if u like him/her very much. If u do like u ll automaticcally help, Care for him or her. Care is one the most important word in Love as far as i am condcerned. Its always how much do you caer bout me... How much does he/she cares bout me ? this is one the fundamental question everyone will ask themselves...

now comes love marriage.... is it better to marry a loved one or to love a married one...

well both are kinda ok when led to circumstances anyhitng might go wrong @ anytime...

love marriage - which are supported these days - are being love cum arranged marraige. since the couple have really loved (true love) they can enjoy a good life in future.. but ther are some questions which can come into the minds of these ppl.. jus imgaine a small incident where the guy gets abgry and looses his control and shouts at the gal or even worse slaps her. the next moment a question might arise in the gals mind - does he still love me as he madly did before marriage ? small misunderstandings will surely arise between couples.. again this will raise another question - i thought we understood each other fully - but still we have diff thoughts over same issue - wats happening ??

if these are the cases and the couple are not happy - the parents will be a little on the safer side to fully blame the guy n gal that its you who chose ur spouse. you could ahve been more more careful this and that... its not our fault...

Arranged marriage is entirely a oppostie case where the decision is taken purely based on family background - the status - their character and so on... its a lot diff to know a person with in a few weeks of time.. In case of love even afetr loving for years - they tend to fight and lead to mis understandings - then how can aranged marriage lead to a peaceful life ??

how can a guy live with a gal whom he hardly knows ? same goes fot the gal!!!

wat could be done ? a time gap og may be 4-5 months between betrothal and marriage in case of arranged marriage could help ! this time can be sue to know bout the spouse who is goin to be ur life partner...

but there cant be any solution which can be solid and can solve this problem except one thing...

"Life is 10% of how you make it and 90% of how u take it" - everything lies in how are percept things. how you take things. how you emphatize...

the greatest solution for life to become happier are (as far as i can think of) as follows :

1. Take things easy
2. keep your cool
3. forgive and forget
4. adjust and adapt to situations and last but not the least
5. Keep smiling (it does nt cost u anything).

i read a small joke which came as sms :

there was a war goin on, and a soldier came running and told his captain a worst news in this situation. "Captain, We are surrounded by the enemy fleet". The captain said " Wonderful.. now our boys can shoot in direction".....

although they might loose the war - the positiveness in which he took the things is so cool.... thats how the life should be...

Ps: Post ur comments - No need to Login

I dunno bout ur views. but these are the best things without which i cant even imagine how my life would have been....

1. Friends
2. My lovely System
3. Music
4. Books

Friends

"Pulikku piranthathu Poonaiyaaguma" a pazhamozhi...but "Appa pola payyan , Annan pola Thambi ,Thaayai pol pillai Noolai pol selai" ippadi thaan irukanumnu irukanumnu rule illaye...

The basic colours of nature - Red/Green/Blue - only when all these are mixed in perfect proportion the other colours are born... In a human's life for a man to become decent, mature Gentleman 3 things are must.

The Colour Red : How parents mould the child from childhood age till he gets to know bout things. The life between the childhood and adolescent age is very crucial for a human's character to be moulded into a good shape.

The Colour Green : How a human adapt himself according to situations. ie. indirectly how he/she sees things. how he/she takes things. LIFE IS 10% OF WAT U MAKE & 90% OF HOW U TAKE.

The Colour Blue : How his/her friends are. Many might think mixing friends as an important part of life is jus stupidity. But, believe me, Friends are most important especially friends he gets/chooses at teenage(18-24). It's them who change him/her. Its them who rules him/her. Good his/her friends are good he ll be, Bad his/her friends are more bad he/she ll become.

I'm happpy,Fortunate to have chosen good friends that even my mom is proud of me.

My lovely System

It all started wen i was in school days... I think there were around 7 systems in my school which had good old Win95 (with color monitors). About 40 ppl - 7 Computers - wat can u expect - Fight - Quarrel - it used to be a pandemonium unless some staff arrives.. :)

no one knows how to work in windows... the first time i went into it without the knowledge of staff, i was scared stiff since i could not come out of it.. dint know wat a mouse is - it was like i was left in a desert with no one to guide me... finally some staff came and caught me and he he he u can imagine the rest...

That was the first encounter with Jannal.

Then i went to high school in DAV... I never imagined that i would be an underdog there. All the ppl there were like - sema range - know it all -category... many were already fluent with Ms Office , VB and other stuff while i heard them for the first time in my life.I would go to lab during Lunch everyday - get scoldings form out computer teacher for not allowing them to eat their lunch peacefully and will sit with the computer for around 30min.. days went and i started exploring each and everything....

That was when i started falling for this piece of beauty. I love computers. day after day after day i ll be Lab doin some stuff or the other regarding computers and i knew i was still lagging behind others but catching up slowly. the 2 yrs went this way.

Then one of the best moments of my life happened - i got a system with pretty decent config. That's when i stared diggin into computers and net.

In second sem i got a new friend (one of the best now)who is a computer buff as i am now. His name is Anirudh. Thro him i learnt a lot.. when i say a lot i mean a lot. Thanx da...

And so far my system has never failed me giving big probs although i have tortured it for years. And that's one of the reason I am yet to upgrade...I always sit with computer that a few of my friends even call me "Computer" and tease me like ur r already married to computer blah blah... :):):)

Music

This is another must-be-there ingredient without which my life wud have been dark.

for me Music had and is still a part of life. Learnt Carnatic for a year but unfortunately dint get suitable suitable circumstances to continue. still, I sing when ever i hear any good song and i love singing even if others like r don like it.. another thing which i do without any intention is whistling..

As far as my case is concerned, Music is the Healer of moods. Whenever I am angry or sad or depressed i jus turn on some music and listen and sing or whistle which will heal me drastically. My fav include ever green hits from Ilayaraaja MSV and ARR... especially a few songs which i can hear a thousand times continuously....

I wanna become a good singer but not able to spend time with it...

Books

hmmm... Books - the only friend who can stay with u and entertain at any point of time. Books are like kinda mirror.. I am almost addicted to books without which i cant possibly imagine entertaining myself when lonely...

Books are like piece of mastery created by geniuses. A good book can get u knowledge, Confidence, change ur mood from totally etc.. They can serve sa Teachers for u lifetime. As rightly sad "known is a drop, Unknown is an ocean" books help us in converting these small droplets into ocean...

The power of a good book is unimaginable and can even control u if u r so involved in it.I normally read novels and hate self development books. Novels which are fast paced, page turner goin at an nerve wracking pace.

Some of the my fav's are Colin Forbes, Mat Reilly, Cook, Pearson, Palmer, Cussler and so on.
