Nokia's Window 8 tablet concept

Here is the concept of Nokia 1, Windows 8 tablet which is surfacing all over the web. There is a rumour that Nokia might release a windows tablet in 2012. The concept designer YrOnimus has come with his own design of a Nokia tablet which looks an enlarged version of N9.

According to Mobile Mag, the Nokia 1 concept tablet feature a large 11.6 AMOLED screen and runs on a ARM processor.

The tablet weighs 580 gms and is 8.5mm thick. The Nokia 1 features a 5MP camera at the back which is capable of recording HD video. It also has 2MP front facing camera and 2GB of RAM with storage options from 32GB to 64GB.

Ovi Maps 3D is much better than Google Maps

Ovi Maps 3D is now enhanced with C3 Technologies. It took hardware originally used in missile guidance systems and adapted it to photography to capture extremely accurate 3D images. The company has partnered with Nokia to deliver the first usable version of its mapping data with Ovi Maps 3D, which currently features 20 cities waiting to be panned and zoomed through in three dimensions.

C3’s planes are outfitted with DSLRs, capturing overlapping images to produce complete 3D images. All those pictures are then processed through custom machine-vision software to gauge the depth of the 3D and assemble the map data.

Images viewed in Ovi Maps, are more detailed than that of the Google Earth. And since C3’s already partnered with Nokia, this mapping software could make its way to Windows Phone 7 at some point.

Apple launched the iPad 2 this week with more modifications and upgrades(at the same price of iPad 1). The iPad 2 will come in both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G models. There's AirPlay and AirPrint, which lets users stream media and print documents wirelessly. Also, FaceTime makes its first appearance on the tablet ,so you can video chat using an iPad 2 as well.
The iPad 2's specifications:

Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR
Dual cameras with video recording capability for HD (720p) videos
Internal storage options of 16/32/64 GB

The iPad 2 will run in the new iOS 4.3 (we've seen the beta version of it before). There's also the regular feature-set of adigital compass, a gyrometer, an accelerometer and an ambient light sensor. This tablet will also have access to GarageBand and iMovie which lets you play different instruments and edit videos respectively.

The iPad 2 will be hitting stores in the US on March 11th while in other countries like the UK, France, Germany and Japan, it should be out on the 25th of March.

The basic only Wi-Fi 16 GB model will set you back by $499 (approx Rs. 23,000)

The 32 GB and 64 GB versions are priced at $599 (approx Rs. 27,000) and $699 (approx Rs. 32,000) respectively.

The 16 GB Wi-Fi + 3G model is suggested to cost $629 (approx Rs. 29,000), the 32 GB version at $729 (approx Rs. 33,000) and the 64 GB version at $829 (approx Rs. 38,000).

Anna University is going to announce the results for the exams held on Nov/Dec 2009. Many sources like tedpoint, 24masti say that it will be released within 24 hours. Some people say that they have confirmed the news with CEO. And there is also a rumour about releasing it on 8th of this month.
