Surprise haul

This week I received a very surprising gift! An item I had ordered in november, which I thought to have gotten lost in the mail arrived ^^ And instead of a small package I received this:

A huge box filled to the top with clothes. It was so unreal and felt like christmas! This is what was inside:

So much cute stuff! *^* There were also some long sleeves and shirts, but I did not take a picture of all of them. The items I did not want though, are on the sales page of this blog.

Tokyo winter 2015: Shinjuku, Sunshine City and Monster Café

The past two weeks I have been living under a rock, all work no fun... But last thursday I finally finished my university deadlines and a big work project so now I'm FREEE \(^o^)/ So it's time to continue my Japan chronicles:

Day 4: Shinjuku

This day we decided to go to Shinjuku Alta and the MA*RS store there, I had never been to this store before and had not even known of its existence before we went there *^* According to Jojo it used to be really big, two floors, now however half was closed off and they did not have anything extra compared to Shibuya 109... So that was kind of a disappointment xD I did wear a MA*RS coord of course:

Before going to the stores we had to eat first, so we went to a place where they had amazing okonomiyaki <3 This is one of my favorite Japanese dishes, so I loved this! And we could make it ourselves at the table which is definitely a big plus.

Shinjuku is not as vibrant and stylish as Shibuya with less fashionable people, but I like the atmosphere there a lot. There are so many amazing restaurants there *^* With how much I love food, it's a miracle I am not fat yet xD

Inside Shinjuku Alta things had changed a lot compared to last winter, which I had known before, but a lot of the great stores have gone.. We still had fun though and even made some puri on the top floor (somehow we did not do this much during the whole holiday).

In the evening we went to a super cheap sushi place called 'Genki Sushi'. Sushi is the best thing ever and there you only pay 120 yen per dish o.o A bonus is that they bring it with this rail system, which I really loved, as the geek that I am!

Day 5: Sunshine City

This day was very grey and we were afraid that it would rain, so it was a perfect day for Sunshine City. This was my outfit for that day:

Last time I spend a lot of time in Ikebukuro as our apartment was very close to it, so it was especially nice to see the familiar neighborhood again ^^

The Sanrio Gift Gate was so cute! They had a bunch of plushies and merch in christmas style, which were even cuter than usual <3 Unfortunately I could not find anything I really needed so I did not buy anything here.

After a day off again shopping, we went to eat at one of the restaurants in Sunshine city as our 'christmas dinner'. It was kind of shabby, but the food was still really good! They even had fried sweet potato *^*

Together with Amber and Isa, we went to Milky Way afterwards <3 The icecream and drinks here are so beautiful,I never exactly know what I ordered, but everything is so beautiful that it does not matter! This was the outside decor:

While sitting in there we could oversee the super crowded crossing, which was really cool to see!

Amber and I ordered the same icecream with matcha, red beans and some kind of jelly thingies of which I can never remember the name. I did not like those much, so that was a bit of a bummer :/ The rest was really good though!

Day 6: Monster café

Today we went to the amazing Monster Café \(^o^)/ This was one of the things I had on my must do list and it was even better than I expected! I really liked my hair and outfit that day:

We had to walk around for a loooong time before finding it somehow, even while it was right on the other side of the street from Takeshita Dori xD When entering you are immediately greeted with this huge sign on a wall:

All of them are soooo cute! To me the best was the milk stand ^^ It was really full though, so we went to the second best which was the mushroom disco. After choosing a room, they open two big doors and you enter a creepy cute version of Wonderland.

I was so super happy, as you can probably tell from my stupid grinning face -.- We had a special christmas menu with amazing looking drinks and some nice food as well (which we never got somehow, so no pictures) :

Eriko had ordered a really nice pasta *^* it smelled sooo good, I felt super jealous especially since we were super hungry and the food did not arrive. Luckily we got the drinks for free and she liked the pasta a lot, so it was all okay.

Since it was the day after christmas they performed a super random, but cool show as an extra ^^

We had been in Harajuku before, but as there is just so much to see there we hade not even been to the Fernopaa store yet *^* We all found some really nice things there! The shopstaff even took some streetsnap pictures of us while trying our stuff on:

We all felt cute so we went for some puri in a really weird machine, that had a music theme and even made our own music video xD

When getting back to Shibuya, we saw Hachiko with a cute flower necklace, it was probably done for christmas -.^

I loved Tokyo so much, I still feel a bit 'homesick' (of course the deadlines and work pressure don't help much) and I really miss getting ready with my gal friends every morning <3 Well the upcoming week will be really nice again, as I now have time for myself again ^^ I hope you guys had a less stressful two weeks? Next time more Japan!

Tokyo winter 2015: Arrival, Shibuya and Harajuku

The past vacation to Tokyo was AMAZING.

I went together with Amber, Jojo and Isabelle and I could not have wished for better travel companions <3 Last year with my bf was very different, so it was fun to see another side of Tokyo and meet more with friends! This post will be about the first three days (Otherwise I will have to many pictures xD)

Day 1: Arrival

We had the worst flight ever, but when we arrived at our apartment it all did not matter anymore! It was in Shibuya, only a 5-10 minute walk from the station (depends on how high your heels are) and super spatious and nice:

In the hallway we also found something terrible... A nailmonster was living there as well! So you can imagine we were very scared it would come for us at night xD

After putting down our stuff and freshing up a bit, we decided to go out for dinner and explore a little. This was my outfit for day 1:

I did not have the energy yet to do my makeup and hair, so I felt a bit shabby xD Especially when seeing Shibuya 109 lit up for christmas <3

Our dinner this first night was not great, as we were to tired to look around for long, it was good though ^^

After dinner we were to tired to go out, so we had an early evening. I don't think I have ever slept as well!

Day 2: First day of shopping at Shibuya 109

Our first real day in Tokyo we as the shopaholics we are of course had to spend shopping at 109 \(^o^)/ Even though I had been there before, it still felt like a magical place. Especially when walking around seeing all the cool clothes, I normally admire from afar, in real life and being able to try them on... HEAVEN <3 Amber and Isabelle had never been there before so for them it must have been even more amazing! This was my look for our shopping trip:

One of the most surprising things to me this trip was that I really liked the clothes at stores like Datura and Rienda, as I normally do not really look at these stores much. But especially Datura's clothes were so nice and soft *^.^* We took a picture with one of the shopstaff, she was super cute.

As you can see I was the only one not in white xD

We did not manage to go through all the stores at 109 in this one day, and as it was already getting pretty late without us having had lunch yet, we decided to go eat pasta in the restaurant on one of the highest floors of the mall. It was surprisingly good ^^

I had a pasta with loads of veggies <3 And we had a really cool view over the streets from there:

After 'lunch' we decided to continue shopping a bit more at MA*RS and Glad News, but then something really awful happened.. Jojo's wallet got stolen out of her bag! T^T It was so bad and e all were so sad.. 'Luckily' the person who stole it only took the money and then left it in an elevator, so she did not loose her passes or we would have been a lot further from home! After that we decided to make it an early day and go home to relax and get our bearings.

After some time, we headed out anyway, as the culprit should not ruin our trip or even our day! So it was karaoke time \(^o^)/ I love karaoke even when I am not very good at it (I can't hear myself so I sing verrrry badly.. Sorry for the others who have to hear it -.^) It was so much fun!

Day 3: Harajuku & meeting Miku and Marta

This day we went to meet the sweet Miku in Harajuku. It was so great to see her again <3 and to be in Harajuku again as well! In my opinion Harajuku is even better than Shibuya. Not for shopping of course, but for people watching which is just about my favourite thing to do ^^ In Harajuku you can see so many amazing different styles and even more stylish people than in Shibuya or any other district. Being there always gives me such a rush \(^o^)/ This was my outfit for that day:

I went to the Etude House store for the first time, last time I somehow missed it.. It was so lovely! I took a sneak picture of the magical mirror in the store:

Of course a visit to Harajuku is not complete without eating crêpes and this is my favourite crêpe stand (they have soooo many flavours!):

After some more shopping we decided to head back to Shibuya to put our stuff away and meet with Marta and her friend for dinner and drinks in an izakaya, but not after we made some purikura together!

It was great seeing Marta again as well and meeting her friend Jordi who was staying with her! No haul for me this day (except for some jewelry, but I did not take pictures so I can't remember what I bought that day -.-)

I am done typing for now, so I will post later this week with the next days! I hope you liked reading about our adventures. I am still a little bit the opposite of homesick and really want to go back, especially when seeing all the pictures again.. Well I suppose it will pass -.^

Agejo & Rokku Inspiration

As you might know, my two favourite styles are Agejo and Rokku but those are very hard to combine xD Anyway, I am always searching the internet for new inspirational images. This is a selection of my new inspirations! (It's getting harder to find new stuff now that a lot of blogs are inactive ;^; Luckily there's always still shopstaff and Ageha magazine!)

I hope you liked my inspiration post! While making it, I felt a bit like I was two different people. At one side I really love black, skulls and crosses and then I also like flowers, pink and cute dresses <3 Luckily I know more people who are like that ^.^

Outfit week

Last week I spend some time getting to know my closet better. I challenged myself to dress up every day even if I was just going to lectures ^^ It was a lot of fun even with the small amount of time I had each morning making it harder to be inspired, especially since I am not really a morning person...As a result I felt super cute all week *^.^* Let's go!

Day 1: Sweet memories

With this sunday outfit I was revisiting my sweet style, which I favored up until a few years ago. It was fun to dress up this way, but a bit weird when looking into the mirror xD I do really love this style, just not really on me anymore. I guess I grew out of it -.^

Day 2: Monochrome

This day I wasn't really feeling like colours! The funny thing was though I didn't expect it, a lot of people actually complemented my outfit (usually people just look at me weirdly xD)

Day 3: Killer bunny

This look is a bit more old-fashioned with the high closing dress and ribbon boots, which you don't see very well because of the low lighting. This look made me feel very cute and girly ^^

Day 4: Ready for church

I got asked by quite a few people whether I was religious that day. I still don't know how to answer that question xD It may have been the big, glittery cross..

Day 5: Time for school

The last day before the holidays! I had to visit my tutor to discuss my planning for work during the christmas break -.- Let's just say I am not bringing it to Tokyo!

I had a very strange week outfit wise, now that I am looking back at it. Normally I like to dress more like the first two looks, plus I did not wear as much agejo as I normally do (forgot to do laundry -.^) Today I am leaving for Tokyo!!! So excited ^^

New nails for christmas

As christmas is drawing near and of course I needed new nails for that I have been really busy making two new sets ^^ However I only made pictures of making one of them:

Lately I have been really into pink and white <3 (Next to black of course)

After the base coat, I covered the tips of the nails in white glitter for the pink nails and pink glitter for the white nails ^^ You could only see it from up close though!

Then add some painted white crosses, the fat one was a bit uneven, and some gold flowers and finish it off with a few pearls for the glam <3

The end result:

Instead of christmas I ended up wearing them to my father's wedding last friday, so I also made some new ones. They are very much inspired on a pair of nails Jojo made and I just loved! I only changed the colors and used crowns instead of crosses (my family is religious so crosses for christmas just wouldn't do xD). Her nails are on the left and mine on the right:

Since I will be leaving for over two weeks of Japan next saturday, I will not be able to tend to my blog for a while. Last haul before Japan

As I will be going to Tokyo in only two weeks ( I know right, I am so excited \(^o^)/!!), I promised myself not to shop to much anymore, and especially no clothes... I really tried, but there were just a few things I could not resist. So I bought make-up!

This chocolate bar of Obsession just looked so cute! And I have been looking for a nice brown/pinkish palette, as I always lose my eyeshadows. This is the perfect base ^^

Plus it was only 8 euros with not-half bad pigments <3

Next I found this super cute heart-shaped blush, with three different colours! These were sold out so fast, I actually wanted two different ones, but the second was gone already ;^;

Also I finally found the perfect BB Cream:

I always had the problem of having a skin to light for the BB Creams sold here, so they always turn my skin a bit orange -.- After asking around a bit Jojo recommended me this Korean one of Skin 79 and it is just perfect! It is supposed to make your face look whiter, but my skin is white enough that it does not even have that effect xD

In a city close to mine a new store has opened where they sell 8 nail polishes for only 10 euros!! So yes, I had to buy them..

I just could not find the eigth one, that is a gold glittery one ^^

I think I have been quite good-.^ But I cannot wait to go shopping in Japan! I desperately need to get me some new fashionable clothes<3 To make some room in my closet I have put some new clothes for sale, so check out the sales page.

Dutch gal meet!

Lately all communities have seemed kind of quiet, even the Dutch one were still so many gals are active! The thing is that most meets recently have only been with the gyaru circles. So we decided to finally have another meet-up again with all the gals together ^^ I think the last meet like that was before summer, so it really was about time! This was my look for the occasion (a bit casual, as I had been to university the whole day before the meet):

When wee met up, everybody was super hungry so as usual we first had to get a bite to eat together. I really loved my food, the fish was so good and they even had sesame ice cream <3 \(^o^)/

They gave us so much food, even the strongest of us couldn't eat it all xD

Afterwards we went somewhere else to drink cocktails. Normally we almost never really go somewhere anymore after dinner, because people have to leave early so this was super nice for a change ^^ I had my favourite Piña Colada!

Little Japan themed date

Today my bf and I are on a Japan themed date \(^o^)/ In our busy life we rarely really spent quality time together, despite living together! You know that feeling of always being just a bit too tired and having to finish that last homework assignment before going to bad right? Well today we decided to just forget about all that and head out together ^^ I love getting dolled up for my bf. Some gals tell stories about how their partners don't like their gal make or clothes and would rather see them as natural as possible.. I think that is such a shame! Although my bf too likes me best with as little make-up (and clothes xD) as possible, but he also really likes the gyaru me, for which I am very glad and thankful <3 Anyways here are my make and comfy outfit for the day:

We decided to go to The Hague as there is not really anything Japan themed in our city. Except for really expensive sushi places, but what student has the money for that right? xD We headed for our regular spot, the SET café and sat to my delight in the Hello Kitty section, which is so super cute! Seriously if you can you should visit it \(^o^)/ Plus they have the best food:

I even found this cute book with everything about Kitty White after whom the café is named. Including her profile (sorry for being unable to take good pictures in low lighting -.-)

I had the best drink in the world: Matcha with cream :3 Made by a sweet girl named Jennifer, who said she reads my blog. It sounds weird, but I never realised people actually read my blog @.@ It was so nice to meet her, she was super nice and I can't wait to see her again at a meeting!

As the weather was super bad today with lots of rain and wind we stayed inside the café for quite some time just talking, which was nice ^^ Afterwards we went shopping at the Oriental market for ingredients for home made sushi! Since my bf doesn't eat fish, we made it vegan. I normally always miss the fish and especially the salmon, but this time I didn't and it was just really good <3

Jup, whenever we go on dates we usually just eat and drink a lot. It's a good thing we both love food otherwise I would feel like such a glutton xD Anyways I have to go back as the date is not yet over. We still have to watch the anime Paprika -.^ I hope you all had a nice weekend too!

Heavenly nails

Lately I have really enjoyed making nails! ^^ It feels as a kind of stress reducing activity plus it is an extra outlet for creativity, which I kind of miss in everyday life with all the hectic stuff going on. So today I decided to make a post about the nails I made this weekend: my moon and stars nails <3

These images are the inspiration for it:

I love the combination of black/gold especially with kind of a sky theme. So I decided to try and make some myself. Lately I have been stocking up on nail polish and nail decoration. This time I tried a new gold polish (which I thought was a bas coat, but it turned out to be a top coat xD).

After putting on the polishes and playing around with the base coat that turned out to be a top coat, this was the result:

As you can see I am still practising on making the transitions between the two colours smoother. They do get a lot better very fast! Next up were the decorations. You can never have enough deco -.^ My collection keeps growing, my decoration box really feels like my little treasure box. I never know what I will use before I do, so I love to just play around with it before gluing stuff on my nails \(^o^)/

After putting the deco on these were my nails with the moon and stars theme! Or at least one hand of them:

As I am never satisfied I let them just lie there for a day and only then finished them.

I really love them! Plus I already have the perfect outfit in mind to fit with them ^^ I can't wait to wear them to my society's christmas dinner soon. And I can't wait to start on a new set again! Lately I want to make them faster than I can wear them xD

Winter haul

Happy halloween everyone! I hope you are still alive after the past night of horrors? -.^ I saw so many amazing costumes last week and this weekend!! I had the worst timing to get ill on halloween *^* Maybe I will still use my outfit for another party later this week as it is still halloween themed..

Anyway this post will be about something very different: my extreme shopping addiction >.< I should be saving up to go to Tokyo this December, which I am still trying as well btw, but I am still shopping way too much. So here's my recent haul (can't wait for it all to come in) :

Aren't these super cute! Recently I have been kind of addicted to pearls. I love how they can make just about any outfit look glamorous and nice -.^

It's actually kind of confronting to see what I bought in just two months O.O At least all the clothes are second hand! I made a promise to myself to from now on not buy any more stuff until Tokyo.. Haha I should be okay with only 1,5 months left \(^o^)/

CL review: Cara Green

My first lense were green ones, which I really loved ^^ Afterwards I never wore green lenses anymore though. I felt I should try them again. So here's my review on the Cara Green lenses of KlensPop on my light grey/blue eyes. I love the design of these lenses!

Some info about the lenses:

Graphic diameter: 13.5 mm

Water content 38%

Base Curve 8.6 mm

Type: 6 months disposable

I tried them in different light conditions; sunlight, artificial light and indoors light. As I said I have very light grey/blue eyes:

As you can see they blend quite well with my own natural colour, but the black ring gives a nice extra touch to make my eyes pop more ^^

Colour & Design: 4/5

I really like green lenses in general and I like how these make my eyes pop more and still feel very wearable! I would however like them bigger and a bit brighter.

Enlargement: 4/5

They look really good on my eyes and make them stand out more, especially with the black rim, but as said I would like them bigger -.^

Comfort: 5/5

Perfect, I did not feel a thing while wearing them! (I even forgot until I saw some women staring at me xD)

I would definitely recommend these lenses as very nice green lenses that are not overly dramatic! Lately I have been more in the mood for more dramatic lenses though for some reason.. It might be the halloween vibe, because I am super excited for halloween especially now it's already so close \(^o^)/

My birthday meet-up

When you have your birthday in summer as I do, there is almost never time to celebrate it at that moment. So every year I either celebrate my bday much earlier or later than the actual date (I once even celebrated it in january O.O). This year I celebrated my belated bday first with my gal friends and afterwards with my college friends. This was my look for that day:

During the day we went to this really cute cupcake bakery in the center of Delft:

This place was just so perfect! I had only been here once before and had only sat outside, so I was very surprised about the super cute inside. We stayed the whole afternoon just talking and having fun! We made some plans for our time visiting Tokyo and ever since I have been so excited \(^o^)/

Afterwards we went to my home for dinner. Yes, it is always about food with us..<3 None of them had ever seen my place, so I really liked showing it to them! Since we are always late making selfies we only took pictures then when it was dark xD The derp one actually turned out the best:

Unfortunately everyone had to leave quite early, but I really loved celebrating my birthday this way! I can't see these girls enough ^^ Plus I got some really nice presents:

Everything a girl could need and I love every single one of them! As you can see a lot of jewelry and nail stuff, and alcohol of course. I think these presents say a lot about me -.^ I am already making new nails for halloween with them. I hope you enjoyed reading my post? Leave me a comment ^^

Winter favourites 2015

As it seems to be getting colder and colder lately (I am even under a blanket right now even though it's 4 o'clock in the afternoon O.O), I have started looking at the winter/autumn collections of some of my favourite brands to see what this year will bring in terms of gyaru winter fashion! I am not sure whether I have told this already or not, but I will be going to Tokyo in December during christmas and new year \(^o^)/ I will be there together with my gyarusa buddies Amber, Jojo and Isabelle and am so looking forward to it! Knowing what to look for when we are there, is another motivation for me making this post -.^

So let's get started with coats:

As you can see I am looking for something fluffy -.^ Lately I have especially been looking at white coats like the MA*RS and Datura ones, but the rokku-lover in me cannot resist the Ghost of Herlem leopard coat <3

No matter the season, I love my dresses! It's just so convenient and instantly feminine <3 In my opinion the two Glad News dresses are the absolute crown jewels of their current collection, both are so perfect. I love the open midriff, though I am not sure why xD Ghost of Harlem was to be honest a bit of a disappointment to me after last summer's amazing collection, but this dress definitely isn't. Last but not least: MA*RS. Their dresses and prints are just to die for and these two are some must haves for me this season *^* Let's hope their not sold out when we get there yet!

Again so much love for Glad News! They have a whole bunch of super cool skirts this season. These with leather harnesses around them were my absolute favourites, especially the more detailed one on the right <3 The Ghost of Harlem skirt is so great as well, super lacy and I love the zipper detail!

MA*RS never goes wrong in their prints. I really like this jewel theme they have this season. It seems more mature than the normal flowers and hearts (though there's nothing wrong with those either-.^). I feel I could where these sets even to college ^^

You can never have enough accessories and this season there are a lot of great accessories (all the GoH bracelets for example), but these are my favourites. I have wanted the smaller pink cross necklace of Glavil for forever now <3 The two MA*RS belts are both to die for and I have so many coords already in mind with these two *^*

Yes, more jewels! I have been looking for pink shoes similar to the Rady ones, but (of course) could not find them in stores here. Fortunately Raady thinks with me on this issue ^^ OMG I am in love with the MA*RS leather knee highs!! They really surprised me with these, as they seem a bit more edgy than the rest of the collection <3

As you may have noticed gyaru is still going through a lot of changes, but I was happy to see that a lot of brands are still coming up with amazing pieces! Some brands really surprised me and I really like the collections of Glad News and MA*RS this year \(^o^)/ Same goes for Rady and Datura, even though those brands are a bit too expensive for me.. Glavil and Ghost of Harlem seemed a bit disappointing to me though. Especially Glavil had a lot of the same things as last year and not really exciting new pieces. Anyway, let's hope that will still change soon!

Nail meeting

Last weekend we had a meeting to make nails with ReGal at Elise's place. Remember the nail inspo post I made last week? Well I forgot to bring any of it so I ended up just making the nails randomly xD I really did not have any experience making nails (I only tried it once before at OshareCon). So compared to some of the others I did not have that many supplies *^* Luckily they were sweet enough to let me borrow some of theirs!

We easily filled up the whole table! There were so many beautiful decorations <3

Haha I made some pictures during the crafting and you can see how concentrated people were!

My nails when they were done ^^ They are super princessy and cute, not what I had expected to make. I guess it kind of works! I am super happy with them <3

Afterwards we decided to go for a cup of coffee as we were all a little brain-fried but had not really had time to talk ^^ And of course we made a group pic!

I had so much fun! I really wanted to make more nails *^* So yeah... I did some eBay shopping for my own supplies!

For the nail decoration meeting with the gals of my galsa this weekend, I looked up some inspirational nail art on Instagram. Ever since Istarted using Instagram, I love it especially for this kind of purposes! The nails in these post are all made by the nail artists 'Ravi Nail' and 'Wiznail.Brazilianwax'. I could not really choose to stick to one theme, so sorry for the random mess of inspo -.^

I really love all these nails! Unfortunately I still have to practice a lot and hone my skills to be able to make nails like these <3 Look up the artists! They have made so many more great designs! Hopefully you felt just as inspired by these as me -.^

Birthday party Elise and Harajuku Fashion walk Amsterdam

Woops, I did not even noticed I skipped a post last week! Well to make it up to you I will be talking about two recent 'events' I attended in one post -.^ I will keep it short though, as I have limited time (as usual).

Two weeks ago I went to the birthday of one of the gals in my gyarusa, Elise. This was my coord for that day:

She invited a bunch of people over for tea and amazing food. I had been really looking forward to it because of the stellar reputation of her bday parties and their food *^* I was definitely not let down:

We spend THE WHOLE AFTERNOON eating, drinking tea and talking, which was really nice and relaxed. Of course some selfies were made, This is one of me and Jojo:

Another cool thing that I went to was the Harajuku fashion walk in Amsterdam last week. This was my outfit:

While I had been planning to really walk along, I was kind of delayed by my and my bf's need for food, so we could only meet up with the others afterwards for some delicious yoghurt ice cream:

One item five ways: Black lace top

I have borrowed this post subject from Lizzie (here is a post she made about it) and I really love it! It makes me feel like I get a whole new wardrobe, as I have to think of new ways to combine items, that when not really forcing myself, I would never think of. I made a post before with a DIA top I had trouble making coords with (read it here). This time I wanted to try the same with an off-brand black lace top:

Coord 1: Onee at work

I would probably wear this outfit for presentations at uni or when going to my internship as it is both cute and sophisticated while not being to basic ^^

I was inspired by the Ghost of Harlem Lady Rock collection of last spring/summer featuring Sakurina. She looked so cool and feminine at the same time!

Skirt, Belt, Bracelet - MA*RS, Stockings - Hunkemöller, Shoes - H&M

This outfit makes me feel super cute and sexy and is in my mind so typical for the Agejo style. I personally love this one the best ^^

This last outfit I wanted to make completely offbrand, but then the belt slipped in *^* SORRY! I just liked it so much with it I couldn't leave it out. The vest looks kind of strange like this, but it's a very loose kind of bolero kimono in the same colour pink as the skirt. So it is actually much prettier irl <3

Life update & make-up inspiration

These past weeks I was super busy with organising the introduction week for new students and spending a week of vacation on Mallorca \(^o^)/ So lots of parties and fun but no time for blogging, which I'm sorry about T^T But now that I am back and the new college year is starting I will have some more time again for gal (plus there are lots of meetings and other events planned), so I have been looking at new styles of make-up for inspiration!

As you can see Xin is a big inspo for my for dark make-up looks, he's so super skilled O.O

Sharon's Bday

Last week we celebrated Sharon's bday! She turned 21 /(^ o^)/ We were supposed to meet up with a small group of friends at her place. My look for that day was completely off-brand Agejo and quite casual. It felt very nice to not wear brand for a change ^^

For my make I wore my new super vibrant purple Madonna Violet CLs (read the review here) to complement the all black outfit. I am so happy with these lenses! Sorry you can't see the colour to well in this picture because of the filter.

We met together at Sharon's home for a sleep-over ^^ Her aunt had made her this AMAZING cake! It was so beautiful, she must be very talented. If she were my aunt she would be my favourite xD

We talked away the afternoon until we realised it was almost dark out! We are always soooo late with taking selfies so we had to just get to it -.^

I was looking for a picture of all of us together, but I couldn't find any except for this one while Sharon and I were doing the dishes *^*:

Everybody looked so pretty! Most selfies are still on other people's phones xD But if you follow my Instagram account (username: annouschkoakuma), you will see them show up soon!

Afterwards we decided to play a drinking game Sharon had. As a kid I was so scared of this game, I always thought the croco would bite my hand off if I would touch the wrong tooth xD And to be honest I was still scared of that..

When Sharon had to drink about half of the shots we decided to stop before she would get to drunk! We watched this super crazy movie I would definitely recommend when you're not half-drunk and tired xD It is called 'Strange Circus'. I am seriously still confused @.@

The next morning we were all tired so we stayed at Sharon's until well in the afternoon. I really love these small get-togethers with people who don't care if you like some less standard things like gyaru! It makes me wish I had more gal friends in everyday life ^^

CL review: Madonna Violet

Purple lenses have been something I have wanted for quite sometime. When I found these Madonna Violet lenses for $13 at KlensPop I was sold! I love the design of these lenses and they seemed bright enough to show purple on my light eyes. So here is my review:

Some info about the lenses:

Graphic diameter: 13.5 mm

Water content 38%

Base Curve 8.6 mm

Type: 6 months disposable

I tried them in different light conditions; sunlight, artificial light and indoors light. As I said I have very light grey/blue eyes:

What is strange is that the design of the lenses almost disappears on my eyes! I do love how radiant and bright purple they are ^^

Colour & Design: 5/5

As I said I LOVE the design and colour of these lenses! I had a purple pair before, but because of my blue eyes the purple was really faded, these are the opposite. They really pop <3

Enlargement: 4/5

I like the size of these lenses and the colour makes my eyes stand out even more. The only thing is that the black ring, that you can see in the pictures where the lenses are still in their case, does not really show up on my eyes.

Comfort: 4/5

I have worn these lenses the whole day and to a party afterwards and they did not bother me one bit! The only shifted in front of my sight a few times which was very strange as it normally never happens to me. But it did give everything a nice purple glow xD

I really like these lenses and they have them in more colours, so I think I will have to get those too -.^ I think these lenses are perfect for more girly outfits to add some extra.I hope this review was helpful? Let me know what you guys think!

Inspiration: Summer Party

I just got back from a short holiday to visit my bf at his parents'place in Luxembourg and got back to find there will be so many birthday partys in the coming weeks! (Including my own which I will still have to plan -.^) With so many partys I will need a serious amount of cool outfits, which means some new inspiration! Hyper International Summer Meet (Picture heavy)

Last weekend was the Hyper International Summer Meet!! I had been looking forward to it for sooo long (over two months, not even kidding O.O) but when it was almost there I was so unprepared! Thursday evening, the evening before the pre-meet, I still had to think about my outfits, hair, make and nails! I was happy my bf was not home.. Our living room was a mess:

After getting everything ready I still could not sleep, as I was way to excited >.<

For the pre-meet I went with Jojo, Zoe and Chris to meet Kitai and Jasmin. They are from Germany and had arrived the day before already, so we figured it would be fun to show them a little bit of Utrecht and have lunch together, before the organised dinner. The only flaw in that plan was that none of us was very familiar with Utrecht xD This was my look for that day:

Doesn't it look cool with this background? It was really nice meeting up with everyone again! And at this point we had already picked Chihiro up from the station as well ^^ We just spend the day talking and hanging around Utrecht, so we did not take many pictures >.<

We went home quite early as everybody was tired of travelling and after all the real meet would only begin the next day!

We met up at the station and from there walked over to the venue. It was a really cute place at one of the waterways in Utrecht with amazingly comfortable pink and black chairs next to the water. I was really sure someone would eventually fall in the water with all the high heels xD

I was really happy so many people had come to the meeting! Some I hadn't seen anymore since the Frankfurt meet or OshareCon! So of course loads of selfies were made (don't worry I will just upload a small selection -.^ for more check my instagram account):

We sneaked away with a small group after a while to go to McDonalds, since we forgot to have lunch (and some hadn't even had breakfast yet O.O)

I was so happy! Seeing all these amazing people again ^^ I was still tired from working my ass of at my new job before, but Coming here made it all better! I even won a free pair of CL at the raffle *^*

In the evening we had a BBQ and after that people performed some para para. I decided to start practicing this as well! It looked so cute. I made a movie of one of the Plutonium gals' performances:

They are really good! And it isn't hard to see how much they enjoy doing this ^^

Wes and Juliet also threw in some performances! Wes was actually kind of forced xD

At first we thought we would stay until 4 partying with everybody, but at some point people just started going home and we figured, we'd better get on one of the last trains home to still be sort of alive the next day -.^

So on sunday we meant to go and have a nice relaxed picknick, except for the fact that it rained really hard all morning.. It is still the Netherlands after all >.< So we went to a roof terrace at the station. Most people were pretty tired, myself included, so we took it easy. Still of course loads of selfies, but I will only put a few here:

The German Velvet gyarusa joined this day as well! I did not get to talk to them much unfortunately but it was so nice to see them again \(^o^)/ We decided we should visit Dusseldorf soon to meet them there and we were invited to a party with them. I'm already looking forward to this ^^

It was one of the most fun weekends I have ever had, and definitely one of the most tiring! (especially with my lack of sleep even before the meet) I hope you didn't mind the long post. I tried to keep it short >.< Can't wait to see everyone again <3

First Agejo look

Last weekend my dad threw a big party for his 50th birthday (which was actually in april, but who cares right?) and this finally gave me the occasion to try my first agejo look with the cutest MA*RS dress ever <3

This was before doing my make and hair -.^ Isn't it just sooo beautiful ?

The party was summer/beach themed and the whole garden was decorated.

Those beds were super comfy! So off course I claimed a spot there ^^

I made my make and hair light to match the theme without CLs because my family really does not like them (they think those look scary -.-):

It was a lot of fun! Especially because of the delicious (virgin) cocktails made by my sweet little bro ^.^

Next weekend is the International Summer Meet!!! I am so looking forward to it :D
