Migranes

For those of you who get migranes you can relate to this picture. Am I right? I mean just looking at it probably brings back all the horrible memories you have of those painful headaches.

And for those of you who I like to call "the lucky ones" don't know what a migrane feels like. Oh how lucky you are!! you don't even know.

I've been searching for years for a relief of for the headaches other than excedrin. I've taken too much of it and I didn't want to be a pill popper anymore.

I have found a solution my friends!

It's called Essential Oils. For the past month I have been using Past Tense essential roll on oil. I've put it on my temples and on my forehead and on the back of my neck. For tension relief and it has done miracles.

You know those days when you can’t think straight? And you’re working hard and staying up late and getting up early?

And you’re just trying to catch up and establish a routine so you can finally prioritize the important things? And you know you’re moody because of the lack of sleep, but that until you’re caught up you’ll just have to wait and sleep later?

Well this is the way I have felt for the last couple weeks. Now that I'm getting all caught up I'm about ready to get caught up on my sleep. :-)

Okay I'm not a fan of Jazz but when I heard that this artist beat Justin Bieber out for Best New Artist at the Sunday night's Grammy Awards I had to listen to her.

I checked Esperanza out and was pleasantly surprised. Esperanza is a jazz bassist/singer who ends up combining a lot of different genres and influences in her music. Her Grammy win was the first time a jazz artist has won Best New Artist

The song featured, "I Know You Know", can be found on her debut album entitled Esperanza. Have a listen and let me know what you think. Do you think she deserved to win? Over Justin? Do you think she's destined to go places musically?

For those of you who were wondering yes I am still writing my book. I'm still in the process. And for those of you who didn't know. I am writing a book. No I only have 7 chapters written of it but I have gone back and edited a few times. I've also realized that writing is a great release but also that i'm not very good at it. Ha Ha!

Oh well practice makes perfect right? So I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still taking the journey of becoming an author it's just a very, VERY slow process. :-)

I LOVE to watch the food network.

I don't know what it is but watching other people cook food is very theraputic. Not that I need thereapy. :-) It's just really relaxes me. I have a new favorite it's called...Man vs. Food.

Okay now this show isn't on the Food Network channel it's on the Travel channel.

For those of you who haven't seen this show you should.

Synopsis:

Host Adam Richman travels around the U.S., taking on a variety of local eating challenges involving meal size, spiciness and other daunting factors.

Watch it and if you ever find yourself in one of the places he's been to then you should try the challenge he's tried there. See if you can tackle it.

I don't know how many of you like Michael Buble. I absolutely LOVE him. So I heard this song pop up on Pandora and I became breathless. This song is so beautiful. I really like the songs he does, which are mostly remakes of old classics. But I love it when he spices things up by adding originals of his own.

This is an amazing book. I'm not finished with it yet but it is an easy read.

I love the idea behind this tale and the vivid descriptions the author uses in his story telling.

This is called a Bento Box. This is the Japanese version of a packed lunch.

These might just look like to some of you like normal lunch boxes. Well to me this looks pretty fancy. My version of a packed lunch is an apple, and whatever else I can get my hands on, thrown into a walmart sac.

But inside these boxes, which come in assorted colors, is this...

This is what all the kids in Japan take for lunch everyday!! This isn't just for kids either. EVERYONE uses a bento box. I don't know about you but I would love some sushi and a little salad everyday for lunch. I say that sounds pretty good to me.
