H&M is getting ready to launch online ordering in the U.S. Read on to get all the details about this long-awaited offer.

Are you sitting down? If not, you better find a chair, stat. H&M is finally launching online ordering in the United States.
That’s right – now you can stock up on your H&M goodies from the comfort of your own home. It was only available to European fashion fans before – and it’s about time they changed.

H&M tweets online plans

H&M announced their U.S. e-commerce launch via their official Twitter account.
"Good morning is an understatement! H&M has decided to have online shopping in the US at the turn of the year 2011/2012! Stay tuned for more,” H&M tweeted late last week.
The bad news?
It looks like we won’t have the online ordering option here in the U.S. until sometime later this year or early 2012. We’ll wait for it – especially if that means they’ll start selling their designer collections online.

H&M: Online competition

Though they’re mega-popular, it’s likely H&M decided to tackle U.S. shipping to fend off increasing online shopping competition. Nearly every retail store has an online shopping option – and not offering it worked to H&M’s disadvantage, especially since their U.S. stores are confined to a few U.S. cities.

Paz is known for her hot body and showing lots of skin. She certainly had plenty of other options other than squeezing into this ugly brown (copper?) sequin dress. She looks like a sausage.

It looks like Paz de la Huerta took a stab at the ombre hair trend. Well the dip dye look doesn't look trendy or flattering on her.

Her makeup

Every time that I've ever seen her at an event, she always matches her lipstick to her dress. I'm not sure what the point is, but it seems to be her "thing." Well at the SAG Awards, it wasn't a good look at all. Plus, she wears very little eye makeup at all -- making her eyes disappear. And not to be snarky, but someone needs to hand the girl some blotting tissues -- her skin is always shiny.

The carver should be ready to try any variety of wood that comes his way, provided it is seasoned and little expense is involved. Woods new to this country are continually being imported and exciting discoveries can be made.

A few minutes' work will show the carving qualities of a new wood. The amateur, carving just for his own pleasure, can afford time to experiment on small pieces while the professional carver tends to use woods already proved.

When you go to a lumber or timber yard do not be put off by the look of the outside of a stack of timber. Sometimes it is stacked in the open under a roof but not closed in, a method also used in air seasoning. At first glance the wood may look a uniform grey but its true color will not be revealed until the wood is cut or carved.

Wood as a material is invariably of great interest to those who work with it and in a timber yard you might possibly find men who have been in the trade for years. You will find them knowledgeable and very ready to tell you all they know. Wood that works easily in their machines is likely to carve well also.

It is in the middle of 2007 already! Time flies! Fashion in pearl jewelry industry also changes so fast.Over the last 6 months, I found that the used-to-be-popular fancy style pearl necklaces were becoming less and less active, and is being replaced by another trend: pearl necklaces are becoming more slender, lighter, and more feminine.
Slender: a very slender chain combines with a mid- to big-sized pearl pendant is a common style I can find this year. It is slender, but it doesn't mean it is simple. In fact, designers must devote more effort to design such a slender but fascinating necklace. I am impressed by this item: two rows of very thin platinum chains are connected by 5 diamond floret patterns, and a white 13-13.5 south sea pearl with a platinum floret post pendant sits in the middle.

Light: traditional pearl strands sometimes give a heavy feeling. This year, a lot of them become so light, because they halve their weight, and I call them "semi-pearl strands" or "semi-pearl chain". The reason is that they are not traditionally strung by strings, but by thin metal chains in gold, silver, or platinum. In the whole necklace, pearls are not lined one by one, but each two pearls are separated by the metal chain. The pearls in the necklaces are all small-sized around 4mm. Now feel them, don't you think they are just perfect for the coming summer?

Feminine: this year for some reason, the pearl necklaces with floral or heart patterns always catch my eyes. Maybe that's just because they are in fashion, but I am not a fashion addict. I went to a jewelry shop yesterday. I picked up a very simple white gold chain decorated by three white 7mm pearls and three rose patterns. It was simple but so intriguing! I tried it on. The shop lady smiled to me and said, "It is a very feminine necklace. You look so tender and charming with it." I finally found out why I like this style of necklace so much---because it is so feminine. Which woman doesn't want to look feminine and charming?

Can you see yourself walking along a wet sidewalk after a light rain, in $1200 shoes that have the sole disintegrating as you walk? Most women simply are not willing to pay that kind of money for one pair of shoes - no matter whose name is stamped on them!

What about protection. Remember, shoes were originally designed to protect our feet. Today's designer shoes do nothing to protect the feet. It seems that the less shoe there is, the higher the price is - and among the fashion conscientious crowd, the more the shoe is in demand. Have you seen some of the designer shoes lately? Have you wondered how they stay on the foot?!? There is little or no protection, and in fact, the way some of those designer shoes are designed, there is not only no protection, there is also danger involved when wearing them!

Are designer shoes comfortable? Comfort has never played a role in fashion. No, in most cases, they are extremely uncomfortable. What about support? There is no support in most designer shoes - unless they are designer sneakers. Many models literally ruin their feet over the course of time - modeling designer shoes!

But because each woman has her own unique style, and her own priorities, designer shoes are well worth the money to a select few - these are the women who can not only afford to pay the prices, but are also very interested in wearing the latest fashions - designed by the most famous designers.

What many people don't realize though is that these women are not in the majority of women - these women are actually few and far between. Most women would not dream of paying more than $100 for a good pair of shoes - others wouldn't dream of paying more than $50, and some even refuse to pay more than $25!
