Hello friends!

I have thought about this for a very long time and I have finally decided to stop blogging for a while because I have been feeling a little drained lately.

It is difficult to maintain a blog, between creating a concept, the editing process, taking the photos and actually creating the content per se, I have realized that I haven't really been enjoying this process as much as I used to, I think that also happened with makeup too, at the beginning I was very into it, but after a while the spark ceased and it became more like an obligation to upload a video on youtube and it was not fun anymore, so I stopped.

I think it is very important to disconnect from social media once in a while, that way we can recharge energies and get inspired again. I don't know if I am going to come back, but what I really know is that I need some time for myself, to rest and to do discover something new that can bring me happiness.

This blog never was created with the intention of bragging about what I own, the brands I like to wear or the money I have for the trips I have done. I think I have open my heart so many times writing a lot of things about myself and how I see life, but sometimes I feel that we are living in a world in which money and expensive things put a number on us that qualifies us, and the more you show you have, the more you are worth. I don't want to follow that path, it is a dark path, I know it and I am much more than the clothes I wear, or the makeup I use, or the things I do. I am a complex human being, so much more than just the facade.

I think it is time for me to discover more things about myself, I wanna expose myself to things that make me genuinely smile again, I wanna walk alone for a while and see life only with my eyes without other opinions that can cloud my judgment.

I know that for some of you I may be crazy, I know there are some people following me and I know I am probably going to loose a lot of you after this post is published, but as I said in my last post, I don't know if I am relevant enough to continue to do this and I think in life it is important to know when to say, that's enough!.

I am leaving happy because I know I have helped some of you get inspired with your clothes and your makeup, planing your future trips, and even with your cooking(even though I am not a great cook, I know that!) but I think now is the time to go separate ways.

I thank you with all my heart for your support and your kindness, thank you for following me in this crazy rollercoaster of being a blogger, thank you so much for reading my lines and for the sweet comments you left always, thank you also for being with me since the beginnings, when I was just another youtuber trying to "teach" people how to do stuff. Thank you for everything, this has been one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had, and I am so grateful I had to experience this with such amazing and caring people by my side.

If I come back again, I promise to continue to give you my heart and one or two new things I may learn in this new life I am trying to live.

Have a wonderful life my friends, disconnect whenever you feel you need to do it, and find what makes you happy, what makes you smile, what makes you dream.

He pensado mucho en esto desde hace tiempo. Finalmente me he decidido a abandonar el blog al menos por un tiempo, puesto que me he sentido un poco agotada y sin inspiración ultimadamente.

Es un poco complicado mantener un blog, entre crear el concepto, editar, tomar las fotos, y crear en sí el contenido, me he dado cuenta de que por largo tiempo no he estado disfrutando todo este proceso como antes. Creo que hasta cierto punto eso también me ocurrió con el maquillaje, al principio estaba tan comprometida con ello, pero al final la llama se extinguió y se volvió más una obligación el subir videos a youtube que dejó de ser divertido para mi, así que paré.

Una de las cosas que he descubierto que es muy importante y a menudo lo olvidamos en este mundo tan acelerado en el que vivimos, es el saber desconectarse de las redes sociales de vez en cuando, de esa manera podemos recargar energías y volver a encontrar la inspiración que hemos perdido. No se si voy a volver, pero lo que si sé es que ahora necesito tiempo para mí, para descansar y para descubrir algo nuevo que me brinde felicidad.

Este blog nunca fue creado con la intensión de presumir lo que tengo, las marcas que me gusta usar o el dinero que utilizo para los viajes que hago. Creo que les he abierto mi corazón muchas veces y les he contado cosas personales de mi que me han marcado y me han hecho ver la vida de una perspectiva en particular, pero algunas veces siento que estamos viviendo en un mundo en donde el dinero y lo que compramos con el nos ponen un numero que califica cuanto más tenemos con nuestra valía como personas, y no quiero seguir ese camino porque es un lugar muy oscuro y feo del cual uno se puede perder, además yo soy más que la ropa con la que visto, o el maquillaje que llevo, soy más mucho más que eso.

Creo que es tiempo de descubrir nuevas cosas de mi misma que desconozco, exponerme a nuevas experiencias que me hagan sonreír genuinamente, es tiempo de caminar y abrir mis ojos al mundo sin tener otras opiniones que nublen mis propios juicios.

Sé que para muchos de ustedes es una locura lo que voy a hacer, sé que hay mucha gente siguiéndome que probablemente pierda al irme cuando publique este artículo, pero como di a entender en el artículo anterior, realmente no se si siga siendo relevante mi opinión en este mundo de las redes sociales, y pienso que a veces es bueno saber decir: Es suficiente.

Me voy contenta porque sé que he inspirado a muchas personas en este mundo hermoso de la moda y el amor propio de sentirnos mujeres con maquillajes, consejos, viajes, incluso con recetas(y eso que no soy nada buena cocinando, eh!) pero siento que es hora de separar nuestros caminos.

Les agradezco con todo mi corazón todo su amor y amabilidad en todos estos años, gracias por haberme seguido en esta montaña rusa de lo que significa ser un bloguero de moda, muchas gracias por leer mis líneas y por todos esos hermosos comentarios que me dejan siempre, gracias por estar conmigo desde el comienzo, cuando era otra chica más de youtube que jugaba a "enseñar" como hacer ciertas cosas. Gracias por todo, esta ha sido sin duda alguna, una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido en mi vida, y estoy tan agradecida de haber experimentado todo esto con gente tan bonita y dulce como ustedes.

Si regreso, les prometo seguir abriéndoles mi corazón y quizás compartirles una o dos cositas nuevas que aprenda en esta nueva vida que quiero vivir.

Que tengan una hermosa vida amigos queridos, desconénctense cuando su alma se los pida, y nunca se cansen de buscar lo que los haga feliz, lo que les arranque sonrisas, lo que los haga soñar.

Magenta shorts

Lately I have been thinking about how much social media has changed our perception of the world. When I first started blogging(a looong time ago) I usually opened my heart and shared all my thoughts and ideas but little by little I have come to the realization that people this days are too busy to read more than just a few lines.

I think the future of bloggers is really scary, people don't really have the interest nor the time to read the content of a blog, it is so easy and simple for us to "scroll and like" through Instagram and the sad part is that your worth as an influencer is based on how many people is following you. This saddens me deeply to my core, because people don't realize the amount of effort physically and emotionally that creating content for a blog means, sometimes I feel like giving up(like I did on my youtube channel a while back) because the returns of this profession can be minimal.

I have wondered many times why people come to my blog(I know who you are by the way, the people that always come and leave a message) I know I am not the best influencer out there, competition is fierce this days, and I don't base my sense of fashion on expensive or experimental trends, I am just a simple girl trying to do my best with what I have, but then I think about the lovely people that take their time to leave a message and my heart starts to warm out because deep inside I know that I don't need to have millions of followers to know my worth, I only have to change the world for one person to know that all this hard work is totally worth it, so thank you so much for being here, for reading my thoughts and for your sweet comments that are the food of this blogger, I truly appreciate it.

Ultimamente he estado pensando en como las redes sociales han cambiado nuestras perspectivas del mundo.

Cuando empecé a escribir en el blog(hace muuuuucho tiempo atrás) usualmente abría mi corazón y compartía mis pensamientos y mis ideas, pero poco a poco he llegado a la conclusión de que la gente hoy en día, está muy ocupada para leer algunas líneas.

Creo que el futuro de los que nos dedicamos a bloguear es incierto y asusta un poco, la gente en la actualidad no tiene el interés ni el tiempo para leer el contenido de un blog, ya que es tan fácil y sencillo "ver fotos y dar likes" en Instagram, y la peor parte es que tu valía como influenciador en redes, se basa en cuanta gente te sigue. Esto confieso que me entristece mucho, porque la gente no piensa en todo el esfuerzo físico y emocional que significa crear contenido para el blog, y algunas veces me hace pensar seriamente en rendirme(como ya lo hice hace algún tiempo en YouTube) ya que la recompensa que esta profesión nos da suele ser mínima.

Me he preguntado muchas veces porqué la gente viene a mi blog(Sí, sé perfectamente quienes son los que siempre vienen y me dejan comentarios) Sé que no soy una experta en moda o en maquillaje, la competencia es muy fuerte hoy en día, y sé también que no baso mi sentido de la moda en tendencias caras y experimentales, solo soy una chica sencilla tratando de hacer lo mejor que puedo con lo que tengo, pero luego pienso en todas esas personas maravillosas que se toman su tiempo para visitar el blog, leerlo y dejarme unas líneas, y mi corazón se empieza a derretir porque dentro de mi sé que no necesito tener un millón de seguidores para saber cuanto valgo, solo necesito cambiar la vida de una sola persona para saber que todo el arduo trabajo que hago manteniendo este blog vale la pena, así que muchas gracias desde el fondo de mi corazón por visitar este lugar y por sus dulces comentarios que sin duda alguna son el alimento de esta bloguera.

Skirt pants? Yes please!!

Now that the weather is becoming like hell, I find myself searching for outfits made out of cotton or chiffon fabrics because I need to breath.

This lovely skirt is actually a set that I found at Shein but I didn't like the top part because it was very small for me, so instead, I decided to pair this skirt with a baby blue top that I got a long time ago at Zara and that you probably have seen me wear a lot (here and here) because I really like it, specially for summer.

I was really surprised about the design and the fabric of the skirt, I originally thought that the skirt had only a long slit but after I received it I realized that it also came with shorts attached, which is amazing because I don't have to worry about showing more skin than I like, the material of the fabric is very soft as well and I think it goes perfect for a warm weather, I think you may seen me wearing this skirt quite often because of the versatility and because it is so much fun wearing it and twirling with it.

Ahora que el clima está tan caliente como en el infierno, me he dado cuenta de que busco ropa que sea de algodón o de chiffón porque necesito respirar y sentirme ligera.

Esta bonita falda es realmente un conjunto que encontré en Shein pero la verdad es que no me gustó la blusa porque es muy pequeña, así que decidí combinar la falda con esta bonita blusa azul de Zara que ya me la han visto algunas veces(aqui y aqui) porque me encanta ponérmela cuando el clima empieza a calentar.

Realmente me sorprendió el diseño y la calidad de la falda, originalmente pensé que la falda solo tenía una abertura larga pero ya cuando la recibí, me di cuenta de que venía con shorts incluidos, cosa que me viene de película porque así no tengo que preocuparme de andar mostrando más de la cuenta. El material de la falda me gustó mucho también porque es muy suave y va perfecta para el verano, creo que me van a ver usando esta falda muy seguido porque es muy versátil y además porque es super divertido dar vueltas y caminar con una falda-pantalón.

Jumpsuit time!

Today I have to say that I surprised myself when I decided to wear this jumpsuit, specially because I don't really own jumpsuits in my closet but I wanted to have one and this one caught my eye the other day, so I impulsively decided to buy it and today I wore it to go to the movies.

The sun was coming down and I haven't really planned on taking pictures for the blog, but my husband suggested that we should take a few photos because he has never seen me wearing a jumpsuit before and he thought it would be good content for my blog, so I accepted and we took these pics.

I don't really like that the photos are too warm, but sometimes you have to work with what mother nature throws at you and try to do your best, but still I think I have created a pretty solid outfit here, I felt comfortable, cute and put together.

Hoy tengo que decir que me he sorprendido a mi misma con este jumpsuit, especialmente porque no tengo este tipo de ropa en mi armario pero tenía tantas ganas de tener uno así que cuando vi este bonito jumpsuit de cuadritos supe que tenía que comprarlo e impulsivamente lo he hecho y me lo he puesto hoy precisamente para ir al cine.

El sol estaba bajando y a pesar de que no había planificado tomar fotos para el blog, mi esposo me sugirió que lo hagamos porque él no me había visto en un jumpsuit antes y pensó que sería un buen contenido para el blog, así que lo hicimos, tomamos algunas fotos que a pesar de no ser las mejores, creo que sirven.

No me gusta que las fotos han salido muy amarillas, pero bueno, a veces hay que trabajar con lo que la madre naturaleza te da, aun así pienso que he creado un look bastante bonito y elegante, no les parece?

Polka dots galore

A few months ago I bought this beautiful skirt but I haven't really had the opportunity to wear it for the blog because I couldn't find something proper to match this skirt in my closet, so I decided to search the web for the perfect blouse to create a nice look with this skirt and it took me a couple of months(the truth is that also I got distracted creating other outfits too) but, the other day I purchased this cute and fun blouse with white polka dots and ruffles because I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.

I am not usually big fan of mini skirts but for some reason this skirt screamed "buy me" and that is what I did, I think I really like the shape and the colors of the it and I think that even though it has a very modern look at the same time it can be a classic staple in a wardrobe, don't you think?

Hace unos meses atrás compré esta bonita y super original falda pero no había tenido la oportunidad de mostrarla aquí en el blog porque no encontraba la "blusa perfecta que le combine" (A veces puedo ser un poco obsesiva en la ropa) Así que decidí buscar una blusa que le quede bonita y fue entonces cuando me encontré con esta belleza de blusa que me encanta por los lunares blancos que me parecen muy divertidos y ni hablar de las mangas acampanadas.

No soy muy amante de las mini faldas como ya se habrán dado cuenta, pero por alguna razón esta falda me gritó "compra me, compra me" apenas la vi y eso fue lo que hice, creo que lo que más me gusta es la forma y los colores, además pienso que a pesar de ser muy moderna puede convertirse en un clásico en el armario, no les parece?

Yellow and lace

White is such a wonderful color, it brightens everything, it makes me feel clean, fresh and elegant. Today I wanted to create a glowy/elegant look so I went into my closet and pulled out a couple of things that I liked to wear with this over the shoulder lacey top that I have showed you before.

I took out a couple of pants and jeans and even a pencil skirt, but you know my obsession for midi skirts is something that I can't hide, right? I had to wear this adorable top with a midi skirt because it is what I love to wear every time I want to dress feminine, so I chose this bright yellow skirt because I think it is perfect for summer, my hat and a cute little lemon purse and I got ready to face the world.

El blanco es un color tan maravilloso, que ilumina y me hace sentir limpia, fresca y elegante.

Hoy quería crear un look muy limpio y elegante así que fui a mi armario y saqué algunas cosas que quería ponérmelas junto con esta blusa hermosa de encaje blanca que ya les he mostrado antes.

Saqué algunos pantalones y faldas tubo, pero ya ustedes saben que mi amor por las faldas midi es extremo, así que escogí esta falda neon amarilla porque pienso que es perfecta para el verano, me puse un sombrero y una bonita bolsa en forma de limón que me encanta y listo, luego de vestirme salí a conquistar al mundo.

Fiery Aries

New outfits always put a smile on my face and excite me, but sometimes I have to be very careful not to over-buy clothes all the time specially because I don't like to spend money on things that I would only wear one time, so I have to be conscious and put my money on things that I can wear multiple times and that would look nice with different accessories.

A long time ago I bought this gingham blouse, specially thinking about Paris, because last year I had the amazing opportunity to visit this romantic city in the summer and I wanted to dress comfortable to walk around the city(As you can see, with this type of ruffle blouses you can stuff your belly with so much food, and being in Paris believe me, I wanted to eat loads and loads of croissants and macarons).

At the beginning of the year I bought this pair of red pants because red is one of my favorite colors, I think it has to bee because I am an Aries and Aries people are supposed to be very passionate, courageous and fiery in nature, so red is a good color for us, and for some reason every time I am wearing red I tend to feel more confident and outgoing which is amazing for me because I am usually very shy.

La ropa nueva siempre me dibuja una sonrisa en los labios y me emociona, pero algunas veces debo de tener cuidado de no gastar dinero en ropa que solo me pondría una vez, así que tengo que ser muy consciente a la hora de comprar ropa nueva y pensar en que si lo que voy a comprar, podré usarlo varias veces y combinarlo con las cosas que ya tengo en mi armario.

Hace algún tiempo atrás compre esta blusa de cuadritos especialmente pensando en Paris, porque el año pasado tuve la maravillosa oportunidad de visitar esta hermosa ciudad en el verano y quería vestirme cómoda y a gusto para poder caminar por la ciudad sin ningún problema (Como se pueden dar cuenta, este tipo de blusas con volados son muy buenas para "camuflar" la barriguita, y yo estando en Paris lo que mas quería era llenarme de croissants y muchos macarons, así que esta blusa me vino de película).

Al comienzo del año compré este par de pantalones rojos porque el rojo es uno de mis colores favoritos, creo que debe de ser porque soy Aries, y se supone que las personas que llevamos este signo zodiacal somos muy pasionales, valientes y fuertes de personalidad, así que el rojo es un buen color para nosotros, y quizás sea por esa razón que cada vez que me visto de rojo suelo sentirme muy confiada en mi misma y extrovertida, cosa que es fantástica para mi por que en el fondo soy muy tiīmida aunque no lo parezca.

I like this outfit because I think it is very casual and feminine at the same time and I like it even more because I created this outfit with things that I already had in my closet, so I didn't have to buy new stuff and that is good for me and good for my wallet.

I went to the movie theater wearing this outfit and I ate a lot of popcorn, and when I say a lot of popcorn I am talking about the family size bucket(later that day I discovered that that huge bucket of popcorn has 1000 calories but it was too late for me, because I ate it all!!!) so once again, this blouse would always be one of my favorites whenever I plan on eating a lot of things and also because it makes me look casual and comfortable as well.

Me gusta este look porque es muy casual y femenino al mismo tiempo y me gusta aún más porque lo creé con cosas que ya tenía en mi armario, así que no tuve que comprar más cosas y eso es bueno para mi y para mi billetera.

Fui al cine vestida así y me atasqué de palomitas de maíz, y cuando hablo de muchas palomitas de maíz me refiero al tamaño familiar que es un cubo inmenso estilo americano, ya saben que todo es grande acá(luego esa tarde descubrí que ese cubo de palomitas tiene 1000 calorías, se imaginan!! Voy a tener que estar a dieta por una semana jajaj) lo bueno es que nuevamente puedo confirmar que esta blusa será una de mis favoritas en especial cuando planee ir a comer mucho y también porque me hace sentir casual sin perder la comodidad y feminidad.

Pink is for adults too

I have never been a tomboy in my life, in fact, I still remember been a teenager and asking my mother to buy me dresses and skirts because I thought those made me look my best. I think that even though we human beings are in constant evolution, no matter how much you change in life, there is always a core part of you that never changes, and once you find your style you keep embracing it.

When I ordered this blouse I was a little hesitant because Chicwish carries this blouse not only in pink but also in different colors and patterns, and now that the stripes and gingham prints are in trend I wasn't sure if I should get the blouse with a nice print like that, but then I reminded myself that clothes are a personal choice and that is not about trends, is more about style, so I got the pink because I am such a girly girl in my heart and having bows and bell sleeves makes me feel like a fair maiden in a fairy tale story, I know that is a little cheesy but that's just how I am.

Nunca he sido una chica masculina en mi vida, es más, me acuerdo cuando era adolescente y siempre le pedía a mi madre que me compre vestidos y faldas porque pensaba que era lo que mejor me quedaba y me gustaba. Creo que a pesar de que los seres humanos estemos en constante evolución y de que cambiemos mucho en la vida, siempre queda una parte interna que nunca cambia y una vez encontramos nuestro estilo se queda con nosotros para siempre.

Cuando ordené esta blusa realmente tuve un poco de dudas puesto que Chicwish la tiene en diferentes colores y patrones, y ahora que los cuadritos y las rayas están de moda, dudé si debía comprarla con algún estampado así, pero luego recordé que la ropa es algo muy personal y no se trata de seguir modas, sino más bien de encontrar nuestro propio estilo y adoptarlo a nuestra vida, así que compré la blusa rosada porque en mi corazón soy una mujer muy femenina y llevar lazos y mangas acampanadas me hace sentir como una damisela salida de un cuento de hadas, si, ya se que es un poco cursi, pero así de cursi y anticuada soy yo.

When I got the blouse out of the package I immediately tried it with a pair of dark jeans and nude pumps and I loved the result, so I planed on doing a post showcasing this outfit that way, but when I got ready to take this pictures for the blog, I found my eyes gravitating into my skirts and when I saw this A-line lacey white skirt I new I had to change my outfit.

Pink and white has always been a combination of colors that I like. It can be a little challenging to look sophisticated and elegant with this colors because they are not "adult" colors, so I decided to keep everything clean and simple with the jewelry and accessories, and just to have a pop of color and interest to the look, I decided to wear a bright pink round shaped bag and the outfit became very lady like, just like the looks I enjoy the most.

Cuando me llegó la blusa y la saqué del paquete, inmediatamente me la probé con un par de jeans oscuros y unos tacones en color nude y amé el resultado, así que planeé recrearlo con unas fotos en el blog de esa manera, pero cuando llegó el día de hacer las fotos, me di cuenta que mis ojos gravitaban hacia las faldas, y cuando vi esta falda blanca de encaje en mi armario, supe que tenía que cambiar el look y vestir de esta manera.

El blanco y el rosa siempre me han gustado a pesar de que pueden llegar a ser un poco difícil hacer ver esta combinación de colores sofisticada y elegante ya que no son considerados colores "para adultos", así que al vestirme de esta manera decidí mantener los accesorios y la joyería muy sencilla y limpia, y para darle un toque diferente al look decidí llevar una bolsa redonda en color fuxia que complementó el look y me hizo sentir muy femenina, justo como a mi me gusta.

Ready for summer

This past Memorial day weekend my husband and I decided that we wanted to get lost in small little cute towns and just discover new places and shops around, and that is exactly what we did.

We headed north seeking new adventures and we stoped at some places just to explore the city of Cocoa and visit the beach.

When I woke up on Saturday I immediately checked on my phone to see the weather app, and I saw that it was going to be as hot as hell, so I decided to dress simple and comfortable enough to able to walk a lot and feel pretty at the same time.

I decided to wear a long white dress with my handy sneakers that I adore and a straw bag and a cute hat(that are super in trend right now). I have to tell you that I received a few compliments over my outfit that I didn't expected because I thought I was wearing nothing special but nevertheless, those simple moments in which we are surprised by the kindness of people, I think they are the best to put you in a great mood.

Este pasado fin de semana de Memorial day mi esposo y yo nos pusimos de acuerdo en perdernos en pequeños lugares y descubrir ciudades y pueblitos al rededor de donde vivimos, y eso es exactamente lo que hicimos.

Nos fuimos hacia el norte en busca de aventuras para explorar la ciudad de Cocoa beach y ver la playa.

Cuando me desperté la mañana del Sábado enseguida revisé la aplicación del tiempo para ver como iba a estar el clima, y como descubrí que iba a estar tan caliente como en el infierno(que seguro el trinche se le derrite al diablo jaja), decidí vestirme sencilla pero a la vez cómoda para poder caminar bastante y sentirme femenina al mismo tiempo.

The other day I went out to have lunch with a couple of friends. I have seen myself wearing dresses and skirts so often lately that I decided for this day, to wear this gorgeous pair of red trousers that I bought a few weeks back, I also decided to wear this beautiful ruffle top from Chicwish and a cute pair of mules in pink.

I have never been a huge fan of pants but I have to tell you that this pair I am wearing from Old Navy are super comfortable and they also look beautiful and bright, I think I might have to buy a couple more in different colors.

I love wearing analogous colors on my clothes because they always look harmonious and I really like the contrast between colors from the same family. I hope you like this look, let me know if you do in the comments.

El otro día tuve un almuerzo con unos amigos y como me he estado vistiendo mucho con vestidos y faldas últimamente, esta vez decidí ponerme un par de pantalones que compré hace algunas semanas atrás junto con esta bonita blusa con volantes de Chicwish.

I have had this gorgeous white and pink checkered set in my mind for a long time, I love the simplicity and playfulness of the outfit and how girly and cute it would made me feel wearing it. Now that the weather is warmer and a little windy here in Florida, I decided to finally buy this set and wear it for a nice lunch out with my husband.

I think I have already told you a lot about my crazy love for midi skirts before, and I also love everything girly too, so when I saw this cute top and skirt set at Chicwish I knew I had to have it.

I have also been looking for a nice little handbag to pair this cute outfit with, and last week I found the perfect one. This gorgeous round bag I found it at Amazon and I have to say that I am totally in love with it, I was planning on getting a round bag for summer and I have decided to start saving some money to get the Clare V Alistair shoulder bag, but when I saw this little jewel I knew this was the one, specially because at $39 is basically a steal. Not only this cute round bag matches my outfit and gives me a pop of color, it also keeps a lot of things inside and it looks adorable, don't you think?

He tenido en mi mente este conjunto de cuadritos por mucho tiempo, amo la simplicidad y lo juguetón que se ve este conjunto, a parte de que siempre pensé que me haría lucir femenina y jovial usándolo. Ahora que el clima esta de mi parte y se ha vuelto más caliente, finalmente decidí comprarlo y ponérmelo para ir a comer con mi esposo.

Creo que ya les he mencionado antes mi amor obsesivo por las faldas midi, verdad? también me gusta todo lo femenino, así que cuando vi este conjunto de falda y blusa en Chicwish no dudé ni un instante en comprarlo, es más, rogaba que el tiempo mejore para ponérmelo, al fin madre naturaleza escuchó mis pedidos.

También he estado buscando una bolsa que me combine con este look, la semana pasada encontré esta hermosa bolsa redonda en Amazon y tengo que decirles que me he enamorado de ella, estaba ahorrando porque ya había planeado comprarme una bolsa redonda para el verano, tenía en mente la Clare V Alistar shoulder bag, pero cuando vi esta pequeña joyita, supe que era la indicada porque sin duda alguna por $39 dólares es toda una ganga y valió la pena.

Hello dear friends, long time no see!!

Well a lot of you already know that a couple of months ago I moved back to the U.S.A. and I have been quite busy trying to get my life together, dealing with the moving, finding an apartment, making sure my pets are ok, getting to know this new city and dealing with so many things that come when you move to another country.

There are so many things that I would like to tell you, I have been feeling a little blue this days because I miss India so much, that country made me so happy and gave me a new sense of purpose in life, and now that I am back in America I found myself thinking about India, the people, the food and all of that magical experience in that land that I had quite often, I will got into details in another post, because I don't want this post to get depressive for you to read, for now I just want to leave you with a cute little impromptu outfit I managed to wear one day when I went to downtown, I hope you like this little ensamble I wore, let me know if you do.

Hola amigos queridos, hace tiempo que no nos vemos!!

Bueno, como ya algunos de ustedes saben, hace unos meses regresé a Estados Unidos y he estado un poco ocupada tratando de lidiar con mi vida, con el proceso de la mudanza, buscar un departamento, asegurarme de que mis mascotas estén bien, tratar de conocer este nuevo lugar y muchas cosas más que implica el proceso de una mudanza a otro país.

Hay muchas cosas que quiero contarles, me he estado sintiendo un poco cabizbaja estos días porque me hace mucha falta la India, ese hermoso país me hizo tan feliz y le dio un nuevo sentido a mi vida, y ahora que he vuelto a América a veces me doy cuenta de que pienso mucho en India, en su hermosa gente, la comida y todo lo que ese país me ofreció. Entraré en detalles en otro artículo porque no quiero que nos deprimamos juntos, y además quería mostrarles esta pequeña sesión de fotos sin programar que salió super espontánea un dia que fui al centro de la ciudad.

I love color blocking when it comes to outfits because I like how it can create a bold statement.

Today it was a little chilly and rainy here so I decided to wear a blue long sleeves shirt with my handy pink midi skirt that I love so much, I paired the outfit with nude accessories and I decided to paint my lips bright pink.

I love this kind of effortless and comfy outfits that you can wear to run some errands and always feel put together and feminine.

Amo armar bloques de color con la ropa porque me gusta como causa impresión y se ve super moderno. Hoy estaba un poco frío y húmedo el día así que decidí ponerme una camisa azul de mangas largas con mi falda midi rosa que amo y que siempre uso, combiné el look con accesorios simples en colores básicos y me pinté los labios de rosa fuerte.

Stripes for a hot weather

Every time I am visiting my city I get excited because there are so many wonderful places to explore. Today I went to Plaza lagos, a beautiful shopping center that is perfect to grab a delicious meal, drink a cup of coffee and have a good conversation with a dear friend.

I went to the mall with my mom and we spent a wonderful afternoon enjoying the weather and each others company.

I have to give credit to my mom because she was my photographer today and I think this pics she took are so cute because she captured the simplicity of my outfit and the beauty of the surroundings.

I just would have liked to be a better "model" to have prettier photos, but nevertheless I think to be the first time, she did a great job.

Cada vez que estoy en mi ciudad me emociono mucho porque cada vez encuentro más lugares maravillosos que explorar. Hoy fui a Plaza lagos, un bonito centro comercial que es perfecto para almorzar algo rico y tomarse una deliciosa taza de café disfrutando de una buena conversación con un buen amigo.

Fui al centro comercial con mi madre y pasamos una tarde maravillosa disfrutando del clima y de la vista preciosa del lugar.

Tengo que darle créditos a mi mamá porque ella se convirtió en mi fotógrafa por un día y pienso que hizo un excelente trabajo ya que las fotos quedaron muy bonitas, puesto que ella no solo logró capturar la simplicidad de mi ropa, sino que también conjugó las fotos con la belleza del lugar que nos rodea y terminó componiendo fotos lindas, solo me hubiera gustado haber sido mejor "modelo" para que todo le quede perfecto.

2016 was a wonderful year for my husband and for me, we had the opportunity to travel and get to know many different cultures and beautiful places, we also had the opportunity to live in Asia and explore India from north to the south, we made friends with wonderful and warm people that we will always treasure.

I am excited about all the new adventures 2017 is going to bring to us and at the same time I think it is important to be grateful for the gifts that life gives us, there is really no day in which I don't feel how lucky I am, not only for all the memories we are creating together, but also to have a wonderful companion by my side.

This past 31st of December, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary, we have been married for 13 years and that makes me very proud because we live in a disposable world nowadays, where something gets damaged, it is easier to throw it away and buy something new, and that same philosophy we have transferred it into personal relationships, so if we choose a partner that is not good enough for us, it is discarded and we find a new one. I think that is unfortunate because very few people take the time and patience to continue to fall in love everyday, to give time and attention to your partner and to treat each other with respect and devotion. I think my husband and I are a little bit old-fashioned in that way, our relationship is the most important thing for us and we cherish it.

For our anniversary we had the opportunity to spend a couple of nights at the Hilton Colon hotel in Ecuador, and the last day I decided to take some pictures of the outfit I was wearing. I love this wrap shirt that I got at Shein, I paired it with jeans and a light colored bag.

El 2016 fue un año maravilloso para mi esposo y para mi, tuvimos la oportunidad de viajar y conocer muchas culturas y hermosos lugares, también tuvimos la oportunidad de vivir en Asia y explorar la India de norte a sur, hicimos amigos con gente maravillosa y cálida y realmente fuimos muy afortunados y felices.

Me emocionan las nuevas aventuras que el 2017 pueda traer consigo y al mismo tiempo pienso que es importante sentirse grato con los regalos que la vida nos da a cada instante, realmente no hay día en el que no sienta cuán afortunada soy, no solo de todos los recuerdos hermosos que hemos creado, sino que también de tener a un compañero maravilloso a mi lado.

Este pasado 31 de Diciembre mi esposo y yo celebramos nuestro aniversario, cumplimos 13 años de casados y eso me enorgullece de sobremanera porque en la actualidad vivimos en un mundo descartable, donde si algo se daña es más fácil tirarlo y comprar algo nuevo, y esa misma filosofía la hemos traspasado a las relaciones personales; si la pareja no sirve, se la descarta. Es lamentable porque ya muy pocas personas se toman el trabajo de continuar enamorados, darse tiempo, respetarse y tratarse con amor en todo momento. Creo que mi esposo y yo somos un poco chapados a la antigua, es por ello que nuestra relación es lo más importante y preciado para nosotros.

Por nuestro aniversario decidimos pasar un par de días en el Hilton Colón hotel, en donde nos pudimos relajar y pasarla delicioso, y al mismo tiempo aprovechamos para tomar unas fotos con un look muy bonito que a mi esposo personalmente le gustó mucho, me puse una blusa hermosa de cuadritos que compré en Shein junto con un vaquero y una bolsa pequeñita y delicada. Espero que les guste este look super casual pero a la vez sofisticado.

This is my last post from India, I wanted to dress elegantly and at the same time very feminine, so I decided to put on this lovely maxi skirt from Chicwish and a little ruffle top for my last post in this amazing country that became my home for a year and a half.

I am a little sad, I can't deny that, because one part of me don't want to go but at the same time I am also happy to see my family and closest friends again.

When I first arrived in India I had the amazing opportunity to live in the Marriot hotel in Bangalore for almost two months so I thought it would be appropriate to go back to that marvelous hotel and finish this chapter of my life here, in the same place where everything started.

I will like to wish all of you a wonderful new year full of love and happiness and I wanna thank you also so much for being part of this blog, for taking your time to read it and also for the lovely comments and sweetness you leave every way I go, without you and your kindness, this blog would not exist.

Esta es mi última entrada en India, hoy quería vestirme elegante y a la vez femenina, así que opté por este falda maxi de Chicwish y una blusa con volantes muy bonita para mi última entrada en este país que ha sido mi hogar por un año y medio.

Me siento un poco triste, no lo puedo negar, una parte de mi no se quiere ir y otra parte se encuentra contenta de poder volver a ver a mi familia y a mis amigos más cercanos otra vez.

Cuando llegué por primera vez a la India tuve la oportunidad de vivir por aproximadamente dos meses en el hotel Marriot de Bangalore así que pensé que sería apropiado finalizar este capítulo de mi vida en el mismo lugar donde todo comenzó, en este maravilloso hotel.

Recently I bought this beautiful maxi dress that I am completely in love with because of the richness of the color and the shape of it. I decided to add a leather jacket because Bangalore is getting a little chilly this days and I also wore black sandals to match the jacket and keep the outfit simple.

I really like this outfit, I have noticed that when I am wearing maxi dresses is when I feel the sexiest and confident.

I decided to plan ahead this entry because by now I must be probably traveling to my country to spend the holidays with my family, so because I don't know when I might be back I want to wish you too a wonderful christmas and happy holidays, may all your wishes come true this new year and I just hope to continue to see you visiting the blog.

Recientemente compré este maxi vestido del que estoy completamente enamorada por la riqueza del color y por la forma del mismo. Decidí agregarle una chaqueta de cuerina porque Bangalore está poniéndose un poco frío, y también opté por unas sandalias negras para combinar con la chaqueta y mantener el look sencillo y descomplicado.

A little hipster in glam!

Now that I am currently packing my bags to go back to the Americas, I have been finding clothing that I didn't remember I bought before, like this gorgeous green sequins skirt that I think goes perfect for the holidays. The skirt is a little big on me, but still I think it is a beautiful addition to my closet because I don't really have many festive things and this skirt is so rad.

For this outfit I decided to combine a simple black t-shirt with the skirt and comfortable little red fluffy shoes oh! and I also added a black bag, my first Da Milano bag that I love so much because it is small and super cute, I added one of the keyrings that h&M are currently selling and I love my bag even more, haha I think this is kind of like a hipster look with a little bit of glam, don't you think?

Ahora que estoy empacando maletas para mudarme de vuelta hacia las Américas, he estado encontrando ropa que no recordaba que había comprado, como esta hermosa falda de lentejuelas que pienso que va perfecta para esta época festiva. La falda me queda un poquitín grande pero aun así pienso que es una buena adquisición para mi armario ya que no tengo muchas cosas de fiesta y esta falda es preciosa.

Para este look decidí combinar una simple camiseta negra con la falda y unos zapatos coquetos rojos que son super cómodos, junto con mi primera bolsa de Da Milano que amo un montón y me encanta porque es chiquita y super linda, le agregué una bolita peludita de esas que están vendiendo en H&M ahora y creo que le queda muy bonita.

Me parece que este es un look un poco hipster pero con glamour, no les parece? jeje

Stripes for Christmas

I can't believe how fast this yeas has gone, I still remember like if it was yesterday when I first came to India and I had to adapt to many new things in this exotic and very different country, but now Christmas is just around the corner and a new year is starting to be born, how crazy is that? Time flies indeed.

Today I wanted to create a look with two of my least favorites things when it comes to clothing: Stripes and the color black. I have talked to you about my fear of stripes before, and although I am embracing the stripes more often, I still find myself hesitating a little bit when it comes to stripes.

I am also a very colorful person, I love every single shade of colors and I am not afraid to marry crazy colors together, that is why black for me is a little boring and I don't use it very much, but today I just wanted to create something different and at the same time I wanted to challenge myself to find a pretty outfit from my closet for the holidays without having to spend money. I think I did good, don't you think?.

No puedo creer que este año se haya ido tan rápido, todavía recuerdo como si fuera ayer cuando recién llegamos a la India y nos tocó adaptarnos a este "nuevo mundo" aquí en este país tan exótico y diferente, y ahora la navidad ya esta a vuelta de la esquina y un nuevo año está a punto de nacer.

Hoy quería crear un look con dos de mis cosas menos favoritas en cuanto respecta a ropa: Las rayas y el color negro. Ya les he hablado de mi miedo a las rayas antes y a pesar de que ahora las uso más seguido, me sigo encontrando, algunas veces, dudando en usarlas cuando las tengo cerca.

También soy una persona muy colorida, amo los colores y no me da miedo combinarlos porque me encantan, es por eso que para mi el color negro tiende a ser un poco aburrido y no lo uso mucho, pero hoy quería crear algo diferente y al mismo tiempo me quería poner el reto de hacer un look bonito con la ropa que ya tenía en el armario, y que se pueda utilizar para las comidas navideñas sin tener que gastar dinero. There is this beautiful shopping mall here in the Whitefield area in Bangalore that it is called "VR". I love going shopping there and I also like having lunch at the Whitefield arms restaurant inside the mall, a wonderful little microbrewery that is decorated very pretty on the inside with lovely quotes and images.

This time my husband and I decided to seat outside to enjoy the cool breeze and order some food because we were starving.

Do you remember this jumpsuit I wore a long time ago? well, I decided to send it to the tailor to convert it into pants because I needed red pants and I am trying to save some money now that we are going back to the U.S. Anyway, I wore the newly converted pants with this cute kisses printed shirt that I bought at Asos a very long time ago and I also got my denim jacket that I adore and I wear all the time, I have to tell you that I really like this outfit. That day I had so many errands to do and I felt comfortable and cute at the same time.

Hay un bonito centro comercial aquí en el área de Whitefield en Bangalore llamado "VR". Me encanta ir a hacer compras ahí y al mismo tiempo me gusta mucho almorzar en el restaurante Whitefield arms dentro del mall, que es una micro cervecería que está decorada super bonita con frases en las paredes e imágenes. Esta vez mi esposo y yo decidimos sentarnos afuera en el área del jardín para disfrutar la brisa deliciosa que estaba corriendo.

Se acuerdan del mono rojo que me puse hace tiempo? bueno, lo mandé al sastre para que me lo convierta en pantalones porque necesitaba unos pantalones rojos y no quería gastar dinero comprando un par nuevo, puesto que quiero ahorrar ahora que ya nos toca regresar a U.S.A, bueno me puse los pantalones convertidos con una bonita camisa con estampado de besitos que compré hace muchísimo tiempo en Asos y que me gusta mucho y para calentarme un poco me llevé mi chaqueta de denim que amo y que siempre uso.

Les cuento que me gustó mucho este look, ese día tuve millón cosas que hacer y me sentí muy cómoda y casual con mi look y al mismo tiempo muy bonita.

A long, long, very long time ago I was a little obsessed with Ebay. I used to buy a lot of things from Ebay because it was easy, cheap and I loved to bid for products that I knew I was going to win, so one of that impulsive purchases that I did, was this lovely red woolen cape that I have kept for many years now.

I love the design of this cape because it is very cute and original, I also love the color and the warmth of the material, I just wish I have bought more of this capes, a black one would have been great, anyway today while I was cleaning out my closet (because I am going to be moving soon and I need to sort things out and pack my bags) I discovered that I still had the cape, so I decided to wear it because it is getting a little chilly here in Bangalore and I looooved my outfit.

I think sometimes we fashion bloggers get a little obsessed about getting new clothes all the time, and it is really stressful to buy new things, create the outfits, and the whole process of getting a post ready for you guys to enjoy it. I Have forgotten that sometimes you can fall in love again with the same pieces that you already have in your closet, rediscover them again and remember what you loved about those pieces when you bought them. That is what happened to me today, I loved this cape before and I still love it now, so I just decided to wear an outfit with old pieces of clothing to celebrate that we don't need to buy new products all the time, because deep inside out closets there are old treasures waiting to get rediscovered again.

Hace mucho, mucho, muchísimo tiempo estuve obsesionada con comprar cosas por Ebay. Me encantaba hacerlo porque era fácil, barato y porque me gustaba el hecho de ganar una subasta, así que una de esas compras impulsivas que hice en ese tiempo fue esta bonita capa roja de lana que he tenido conmigo por muchos años ya.

Amo el diseño de la capa porque es muy bonito y original al mismo tiempo, también me gusta mucho el color y lo calientita que es, es más, me hubiera gustado haber comprado otras capas en diferentes colores, una negra no me hubiera caído nada mal, pero bueno.... La cosa es que hoy que justamente estaba limpiando mi armario(porque me estoy mudando de país y tengo que organizar y armar maletas, uff!!) descubrí que todavía tenía la capa conmigo, así que me la puse ya que esta haciendo un poco de frío aquí en Bangalore, y a que no saben? Amé el look.

Creo que muchas veces las blogueras de moda nos obsesionamos un poco con el comprar nueva ropa a cada rato para poder crear buen contenido en los blogs, y eso a parte de no ser bueno para nuestros bolsillos, ni para el planeta, es verdaderamente estresante, desde el mismo proceso de crear los looks, tomar las fotos, y organizar el artículo para que sea a su gusto y lo disfruten.

Me había olvidado que muchas veces uno puede volver a enamorarse de una prenda que ya se tiene en el armario y verla con diferentes ojos. Sometimes I think inside of my there is an old lady because I don't like to party, I sleep early, I am kind of old fashioned and I love dressing out with midi skirts. I have seen a lot of women dress up in tight, tiny, sexy clothes and for some reason I don't like that for myself, that is why my closet is full of midi skirts and colorful prints.

Today I went out to have some coffee and sweets with some friends and I wanted to be comfortable, casual and a little cute too, so I wore this lovely neon skirt with a peekaboo kind of shirt, flats and a simple clutch. I felt super cute and I just wanted to twirl around in this awesome skirt.

A veces pienso que tengo a una viejita dentro de mi porque me gusta dormir temprano, no salgo de fiestas, soy un poco anticuada y amo vestirme con faldas a la rodilla. He visto a muchas chicas vestirse en ropa super apretada y muy sexy y por más que intento, realmente no es lo mío. Es por eso que mi closet está lleno de faldas largas y estampados coloridos.

Hoy salí a tomar un café con unos amigos y quería estar cómoda, casual y un poquito coqueta, así que se me ocurrió ponerme esta falda neón con una camisa de flores que tiene un poco de transparencia, me puse mis bailarinas y un clutch super bonito. Me sentí muy linda y lo único en lo que pensaba era en dar vueltas y más vueltas con mi falda, jaja.

Mi first Saree

When my husband gave me the news that we were going to be moving to India for a year I got a little worried because I didn't know much about this country and their culture, so I just could imagine, in my poor simple brain, what I have seen in the movies and although I was excited to visit a new country, at the same time I was a little hesitant to leave my own home.

India has been a rollercoaster of emotions, It is a world of contrasts. I have seen so many things in this country that I have never seen in other places in the world and being surrounded by all of this chaos and thousands of different emotions, has helped me to put into perspective what it is really important for me and it has also helped me understand how lucky I am to have experienced so many wonderful adventures in my life.

I am grateful. Grateful because thanks to this country I now value much more my family, because thanks to this country I have renovated my love for my husband, I am grateful because I feel fuller, happier and I have learned to appreciate the simple things in life now.

India has been good to me, it showed me so many wonderful things in this two years that I have been here, I have seen beautiful stones telling stories about ancient civilizations, I have seen spontaneous celebrations full of colors and music, I have seen chaos, pestilence, confusion and at the same time I have seen, beauty, opulence, nature and magic.

Cuando mi esposo me dio la noticia de que nos tendríamos que mudar a la India por un año me preocupé un poco porque no conocía mucho de este país y de su cultura, así que solo podía imaginarme lo que en mi simple y pobre cerebro había visto alguna vez en las películas, y a pesar de que me emocionaba el viajar y conocer un nuevo lugar, al mismo tiempo me daba un poco de miedo dejar mi hogar.

India ha sido un sube y baja de emociones, es un mundo lleno de contrastes bien marcados. He visto tantas cosas en este país que jamás había visto en otros lugares en el mundo y estar rodeado de todo ese caos y sin fin de diferentes emociones, me ha ayudado a poner en perspectiva lo que realmente es importante para mi, y al mismo tiempo me ha hecho dar cuenta de lo infinitamente afortunada que soy al haber experimentado tantas aventuras en mi vida.

Estoy muy agradecida. Agradecida porque gracias a este país ahora valoro mucho más a mi familia, porque gracias a este país he renovado el amor que siento por mi esposo que es un hombre maravilloso, me siento agradecida porque me siento mas llena, mas feliz y porque he aprendido a apreciar las cosas más sencillas de la vida.

India ha sido muy buena conmigo, me ha enseñado tantas cosas maravillosas en estos dos años que he vivido en esta tierra, he visto increíbles piedras y monumentos contar historias de civilizaciones antiguas, he visto celebraciones espontáneas llenas de color y música, he visto caos, pestilencia y confusión, y al mismo tiempo he visto belleza, riqueza, naturaleza y magia.

I have always wanted to buy a saree, there is something about those beautiful colors and silky fabrics that attract me a lot, in fact, every time I read an Indian magazine and saw the advertisements about sarees and Indian style clothing I just marveled at the beauty and intricacy of the clothes.

The other day my husband and I assisted to a wedding so I got the perfect excuse to find me a saree, wear it and take it with me as a beautiful souvenir, here are some of the pictures of the day I wore it for the first time, I have to tell you that I felt like an Indian princess surrounded by all those small little crystals and golden decorations.

This pictures are very important to me and I am going to keep em in my heart because I feel so sad to leave this country and every time I think about it my heart breaks out knowing that I am not going to be able to walk these streets again, nor see the thousands of beautiful smiles that only the people of this country give you genuinely.

Siempre he querido comprarme un saree, hay algo especial en esos colores y telas tan preciosas que me atraen muchísimo, de echo, cada vez que leo una revista India y veo las publicidades de la ropa, solo puedo maravillarme de la belleza y elegancia de sus ropas.

El otro día mi esposo y yo asistimos a una boda, así que al fin tuve la excusa perfecta para comprarme un saree, ponérmelo y al mismo tiempo llevármelo conmigo como un bonito recuerdo de mi estancia en este país. Hoy decidí compartirles unas fotos del día en el que me puse el saree por primera vez, me sentí como una princesa india rodeada de los cristalitos y las decoraciones doradas de mi traje.

Estas fotos son muy importantes para mi y las voy a llevar conmigo en mi corazón porque siento tristeza de irme y cada vez que pienso en ello se me rompe el corazón de saber que no voy a poder recorrer estas calles, ni ver las miles de las tantas sonrisas que solo la gente de este país te regala genuinamente.

Less is more

A few weeks ago I bought this beautiful wrap top at Chicwish, today I wanted to wear it with something very simple, so I decided to wear a black pair of jeans and to add a little bit of color to the whole ensemble I decided to wear blue pumps and a blue clutch.

I am happy with this look, sometimes it is better to let a single garment take all the protagonism of the outfit and not to over accessorize. Less is more said once Coco Chanel, so I am paying homage with this simple yet elegant outfit to her.

Hace una semanas compré esta bonita camisa en Chicwish, hoy quise usarla con algo muy sencillo, así que decidí ponerme unos jeans negros y para agregar un poco de color a la ropa, opté por unos tacones y bolso azul.

Estoy contenta con este look, a veces e mejor dejar que una sola prenda se lleve todo el protagonismo en la ropa y no utilizar demasiados accesorios que carguen el look.

Menos es más dijo alguna vez Coco Chanel, así que hoy vamos a rendirle homenaje con este look tan sencillo pero a la vez elegante.

Dubai

Hubby and I went to Dubai for a day, and let me tell you that only one day it is not enough to see everything this city has to offer. We were rushing all day trying to see the most that we could, and it was a little overwhelming because I am the kind of person that likes to enjoy, observe, relax and take all the time I can to explore a new city. So we promised to ourselves that we needed to go back in the future and spend more time getting to know Dubai.

Dubai is such a beautiful city, it is so easy to forget that you are in the middle of the desert because of the modernity that you can see on their tall and elegant buildings and different structures.

There are so many souks(traditional stores) in which you can buy the rarest spices, traditional clothes, perfumes, lamps, hand painted plates, elegant rugs and even gold, in fact there is a souk designated only for purchasing gold, I never had the opportunity to go there because it was Friday and all Fridays the souks open late and some of them are closed but in my next visit this is the first place I want to go.

The people in the markets tend to be very kind and friendly and some of them speak a lot of languages, but still you should never forget to bargain your way in order to score some good deals.

Mi esposo y yo fuimos a Dubai por un día, y déjenme decirles que un día no fue suficiente para conocer por completo esta ciudad. Estuvimos todo el tiempo apurados tratando de ver lo más que podíamos y fue un poco abrumador porque yo soy de las personas que le gusta relajarse y explorar una ciudad poco a poco, admirarla y tomarme mi tiempo. Así que nos prometimos volver en el futuro esta vez por más días.

Dubai es una ciudad muy hermosa, es sencillo olvidar que uno se encuentra en el medio del desierto por la modernidad que se respira en el ambiente al observar los altos y majestuosos edificios y diferentes estructuras que adornan la ciudad.

Hy muchos souks(tienditas tradicionales) en las que se puede comprar desde las más variadas y raras especias, pasando por ropa tradicional, perfumes, platos pintados a mano, elegantes alfombras y hasta oro, de echo hay un souk destinado solo a la compra de oro, lastimosamente no pude ir a visitarlo porque era Viernes y los Viernes por lo regular abren tarde o están cerrados, pero para mi próxima visita es el primer lugar al que iré sin duda alguna.

La gente en los mercaditos tiende a ser muy amable y muchos de ellos inclusive hablan varios idiomas así que comunicarse no va a ser un problema. Lo que si tienes que tener presente es que debes regatear los precios siempre para poder obtener una buena compra.

One of the first things that we wanted to see as soon as we got in Dubai was the Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world.

A year ago I had the opportunity to visit the Petronas twin towers in Kuala Lumpur(Malaysia) and I thought those where huge towers but after seeing the Burj Khalifa, the Petronas are just babies in comparison with this megatall skyscraper.

I took a couple of pictures but I had to crouch to the floor to get a good angle of the entire structure.

We had lunch at the hard Rock Café and I got a little souvenir for me to remember this trip.

After that we went to the Dubai mall, an amazing place to get lost and literally shop till you drop Lol.

Later that day we went to the Atlantis hotel in the iconic Palm Jumeirah island and we spent a wonderful afternoon getting to see the water parks, and the rest of the island.

We returned to Abu Dhabi very happy and very tired that night. Getting to know a little bit of Dubai was amazing, we definitely need to go back soon.

Una de las primeras cosas que quisimos hacer apenas llegamos a Dubai fue conocer la Burj Khalifa, la torre más alta del mundo. Hace un año atrás tuve la oportunidad de conocer las torres gemelas Petronas en Kuala Lumpur(Malasia) y pensaba que esas torres eran inmensas, pero luego de ver a la Burj Khalifa pienso que las Petronas son bebés en comparación con esta.

Tomé varias fotos pero tuve que agacharme hasta el suelo para poder conseguir un buen ángulo y que se vea la torre.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a almorzar al Hard Rock Café, donde me compré una camiseta de souvenir, y luego de ello fuimos al mall de Dubai donde literalmente puedes perderte y comprar hasta que ya no puedas más.

También fuimos a conocer el hotel Atlantis que queda en la icónica isla palmera Jumeirah donde pasamos una tarde muy linda conociendo los parques acuáticos y el resto de la isla.

Regresamos esa noche muy cansados pero felices a Abu Dhabi. Conocer un poquito de Dubai fue maravilloso, definitivamente tenemos que regresar por más.

This was the last of my trips for this year, now it is time to get ready to go back home. I just hope to have the opportunity to get to know different countries now in America.
