Blood Red Fingers

2012-04-29T15:04:00.001+00:00

Yesterday I spent the day with my Maithe. We basically just walked around the pier eating strawberries and then went to a friend's house. At night I went out with my family, we ate at this new Mexican restaurant that opened near my house, the food was sooo good. Now I'm cleaning out my room/ dancing to The Drums/ prepping my English assignment, multitasking at it's best.

Am I doing this right?

Shirt Zara - Skirt and Cardigan Tally Weijl - Sneakers Bershka

Today was such a long day at school, had a three hour lecture about the upcoming exams in the morning, then Portuguese class, Math tutoring and then PE. We're doing judo in PE, which is fun, in my opinion, but it leaves me all bruised. Now I'm going to a friends house, since tomorrow is "Liberty Day" and there is no school.
I love this mint shirt, from Zara, yet I don't think it photographs well. I haven't seen anyone wearing it, which is odd, since they were so popular everywhere else. Oh, please do note the haircut. I got a sidecut, which I am now slowly growing out. Really, really slowly, haha.

Sorry for the quick posts I've been making lately, I promise that as soon as I catch up with school I'll improve them. Thanks for all the support, though ♥

Not all tattoos last forever

2012-04-19T16:58:00.000+00:00

Today when I got home I had something waiting for me.

Remember I told you guys I had something coming up? Well, this is it. Inside the cute bright pink package were these goodies, from Fake Tattoos. I never thought I'd be wearing temporary tattoos again. They were a big part of my childhood. Of course, being the child that I still am, I immediately tried them out.

Now that I think about it, I think the tattoo would have looked better on my forearm, still I love it.

I love the message too, that was the reason that I choose to put it on my wrist, so I can look at it frequently.

I'll keep you guys updated on how it last and all. In the meanwhile, you can check their website here and drool. I know there are some tattoos there I might be buying.

Temporary tattoos are such a fun and quirky accessory, specially during festivals, I think.

You can always try to snatch discount codes in the brand's facebook page and twitter (@fake_tattoos) ;D

One of the reasons that makes me love to shoot film is that you never know what will come out of the camera. Another is that precious moment when you find an old roll of film and get lost in the memories.

Today I went to pick up these pictures from last Summer, when I went camping to another island with some friends. My camera malfunctioned so I lost a lot of pictures but the ones I got, I love.

We have another camping trip planned for this Summer, I can't wait for music festivals, sleeping like bums on public gardens, just that freedom that we get.

Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey by Ellen von Unwerth for Vogue Italy

I fell head over heels for this editorial, from last month's Vogue Italy, so I thought I'd share it here. Dreamy inspiration is always welcome, at least for me.

On a different note

Today was a pretty messed up day. A lot of stuff happened and when peace finally came, the dark had already settled. Unable to take outfit photos, I thought I'd use these.

I haven't been able to post, due to family issues, and also because I've been in the laziest mood ever, partially due to excess chocolate in my system. Something I never taught possible, to be honest. Too much chocolate seems like too much happiness, go figure why my body doesn't agree.

School returns next week, so by then I'll have snapped out of this and I'll be a pretty little blogger, posting regularly (hopefully). In other news, I might be working on a collaboration soon, so that's exciting.

More to come, soon.

The little free time I have I spend on tumblr, scrolling through my dashboard.

These are some photos from there. Little things that make my heart flutter.

Shirt Zara - Jeans Mango - Shoes Local Store - Rings Parfois and H&M

I don't have time to say much, it's my brothers birthday dinner today and people should be arriving any moment. Simple clothes since I know I'll be busy all night.

Blue skies and pastel nails, I'm loving the weather right now. I even went running this week!

In the last photo is the shirt I DIY'd, I think it looks awesome.

I wonder if anyone still reads this blog.. I'm the first to aknowledge that it isn't a priority for me anymore. On my old account I kept complaining about school, senior year and all that, I complained about how life got in the way. The thing is.. If I put my mind into something, there's nothing that can get in the way of that. I'm only now realizing that, but I'm glad I'm doing so.

To be honest, I somewhat stopped thinking about my clothes for the last couple of weeks, months even. Skinny jeans, some shoes, the first shirt on the drawer. I'm going through some issues at the moment.. and they were getting the best of me. Right now, I'm still an undiagnosed mess, but I'm getting better. I know I am. So, step one, start caring again. And with this, I bring you.. the first outfit post of this account.

Sweater Mango - Dress Zara

The sun makes it hard not to want to dress up. Pardon the red nose, my allergies are making a comeback. Also.. I cut my hair! I actually cut it a few weeks ago, but since I haven't posted lately, I didn't mention it yet. It's a bit overgrown by now still, I find it lovely.

Oh, Tuesday!

School, my town, food and the result of a boring class.

My brain instantly connects study with food. Seriously, I can't prepare for Math without Pringles, then there are white chocolate cookies for Geometry and warm drinks to make me cozy. Strawberries make a great (and healthy!) addition to my addiction.

Walking around my town a lot.. I have this weird thing for taking snaps of the floor. I find it so pretty, not a great match with my nonexistent coordination though, walking in heels here gets painful real quick.

Got my swag on while listening to this Lana del Rey x Notorious B.I.G. mashup. Give it a listen!

Oh dear

No school this week which for me, unfortunately, meant being stuck inside studying for my exams. Oh, the joys of senior year. Still, today I crawled out for a glimpse of sunlight and found these lovely macaroons along the way. I hadn't seen macaroons since I traveled last Summer so it was a nice surprise.

Now it's back to Geometry for me. Please, save me!?

I do have a weakness for Rodarte

2012-02-20T02:00:00.000-01:00

To be honest, I haven't been paying much attention to Fashion Week. Still, images make their way to me through Tumblr and I get sucked in.

I know I'm very partial when it comes to the Mulleavy sisters and their dreamy aesthetic, but how good was this collection from Rodarte? Can we talk about that gown? Doesn't it scream post-zombie-apocalipse goddess?
