Fix for "Can't remove payment method on Google Play"

Here's a fix for those who cannot remove a google payment method AND has/had Project Fi.

1. Go to https://fi.google.com/

2. Go to "Billing"

3. Click "Payment method"

4. Add a new payment method or click the drop-down box on another card and make that the primary.

5. You should now be able to remove the original payment method.

Start a command prompt (as Administrator).
cd to the folder that you are trying to delete. For example:

cd C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Packages\winstore_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\Cache\0

Type the following command to generate the short file name list:
dir /x >> del.txt
Open the generated "del.txt" file in notepad. It will have the short and long file names listed in it. For example here's a line from this file, the highlited part is the short file name:

WinRT and WinPRT frameworks are similar in many areas. The following diagram shows the relationship between them in terms of the API surface area they implement:

The API surface area of WinRT is very large, with over 11,000 members. Area 1 in the diagram above represents the APIs that are not available on WinPRT.
The set of WinRT API adopted for WinPRT is represented by area 2 in the above diagram and consists of approximately 2,800 members. For some types, MS have not implemented certain members. For others they have added additional members to support phone-only features. In both cases, these differences are noted in the API reference documentation.
Phone specific key APIs are represented by area 3 in the diagram and total about 600 members. For example, brand-new APIs for speech synthesis and recognition, VOIP, and other features.

How to fix "RIM Mass Storage Device" driver issue

1. Go to C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository

Find files named usbstore…

2. Choose the most recent usbstor folder

Open the folder

You’ll see a number of files…

3. Select and copy usbstor.inf

4. Now go to C:\Windows\Inf

Paste the usbstor.inf file into this folder (On my system there was no usbstor.inf file already in this folder).

5. Now try again to install the reader

When Vista reports it cannot find a driver direct it to C:\Windows\Inf

If all goes well you will see the following information from Vista

UPDATE: Skype has released a hot fix for these issues so instead of following these steps please re-install/update the latest version of Skype.

Fix login issue:

Stop Skype (it doesn't stop all the way in Win8 RP so kill it using Task Manager/Process Explorer)
Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Skype
Delete the following folders and files

shared_dynco
shared_httpfe
shared.lck
shared.xml

Fix high CPU usage:

Run Process Explorer
Find Skype from the running processes
Double click the Skype.exe process
Go to Threads tab (click ok on the warring, it only shows up once)
Sort the running threads by CPU usage and kill the one that is consuming highest CPU resource
Skype will be still running but it will consume less CPU resource than before

Go to "Forest">"Domains" then expand the default domain
Right-click and edit the "Default Domain Policy". This will open a new window with title "Group Policy Management Editor"
On the "Group Policy Management Editor"
go to "Computer Configuration">"Polices">"Windows Settings">"Security Settings">"Account Policies">"Password Policy"
Now modify the password complexity requirements setting.
You have to then run "gpupdate" to propagate the changes.
