Is Blogging for me?

Most bloggers are excited with how they see their blogs in the future turning blogs a business and a continuous phase of earning money asking is blogging for me. At first, they are eager to change layouts, write posts or experiment with their widgets or tools. But when they fail to meet their expectations, they fail to continue and leave their blogs undesirable. We were once like that.

But we continue to face the consequence of being a blogger with the love of writing and sharing the ideas that had gotten on our minds. We may fail for some time but time still manage to continue the desire to make some change of our lives, of other lives.

It is easy to start a blog but making it successful is a long way to run. You need to have the perseverance and passion to continue your journey as well.

Blogging is not for me when:

I don’t have the confidence. Be the best you can to say to the world that you did it.
I get bored researching. Finding new things in the blogging industry comes with finding the latest and useful ideas for it.
I don’t go with the flow. Like we should find the newest and hottest topics on it.
I expect a higher earnings soon. Don’t expect it. It will probably fail you

How do I keep tract instead?

First, get an inspiration. Most writers get inspired from loved ones and personal stories. Try also making a picture of your dreams like dream house, cars or your kind of lifestyle you ever wanted. That would be good start of inspiration.

Second, learn something new. Get excited when learning new prospect ideas for your blogs like discovering a new effective tool or widget. There is no really perfect format for being a successful blog feed by pro bloggers. Just try and try, and if you think a tool is not a good factor for your blog then displace it. Successful bloggers of today are not some millionaires without their diligence and constancy with their work as a blogger.

Let us not be discourage with the trials we come up along our struggle. We understand every blogger’s coming from. That’s why we keep our feet forward to every single detail we discover with pro bloggers secret to success.

Some may discourage us telling that there is no future with blogging, that we are just wasting our time with it. But when time come and they see they’ve said was their waste of time. They may ask you instead how did we do it and find the amazing job you’ve done.

One of our writers, also a newbie, started to write something about personal interest in her blog. she failed to continue so because in reality, keywords in her blog are not focused. All of us tells a story but not all can do the writing.

So to start on focusing your own blog into a rich niche of awareness, try doing so these tips we follow.

1. Observe professional bloggers – try observing some professional bloggers. In the niche we encircle, we follow like Darren Rowse and Mohammad Mustafa Ahmedzai to see what they offer with their readers like the graphics they used, the layout they made with their websites and the articles they shared with their readers.
2. Web designing – try to learn a professional course to improve your blogs. We should not stop learning and improving our blogs and we should follow the flow of the industry we are into.
3. Read a lot - when you wanted to learn something that might help you with your blogs, then try reading articles on the internet that other professional offers for free. Most of them aren’t free but there are others willing to help you without compromising a dollar from you. You just have to find it.

Those are the tips we focused on. Being a new blogger may seem harder than we thought to start but when focusing on your goal with the vision you follow, it will not be that tough. Let us put our hearts into it. Try not to focus on money making blogs at first. Build rich blogs instead. That’s what we are doing now.

Introduction – we make at least three paragraphs of introduction, including a brief and goal-achiever explanation for the topic yet using simple words and a comprehensive guide for every reader.
Body – the body of every blog post we made includes a graphics or images, list of every tips we shared and we follow and other helpful resources for proofs and /or suggestions from professionals. The body may also compose of statistics, quotations, illustrations and other supportive tools.
Conclusion- contains with our own opinion and other matters we strongly believe as a writer/blogger.
Interactions with the reader- the last paragraph composes of questions we ask our followers and convince them to share what they seem to say for such a topic, or is there anything they would like to add information for the benefit of both the readers and the authors.

As a new blogger, whether have professional background on writing an article or a blog post, we follow our own format. We organize our own structure of our own write-ups. In the blogging industry, they maybe not have to follow a particular format kind of writing, but the most important is on how we could help to our readers and extend to them our intentions of helping them on starting their blogs and making it successful along the future.

Post daily – do post daily. Content of blogs is the main key to look forward positively with our blogs. It is the element of what we offer to our readers. And that's a factor that posting daily makes our blogs heavier than any other for search engines to recognize it. Readers wouldn't want a blog empty inside. Posting daily with a minimum of 500+ words per post. Use simple words to comprehend. Complex words make it hard to understand and may lead to readers being bored.
Social media plug-ins – do have social media plug-ins. The community we are moving into as of the present generation evolves using social media as part of our daily life activities. Offer your readers to share on social media with just a click. A convincing way of sharing without words but with actions.
Lighter background – do have lighter background on your blogs. It is much harder to read white text over dark backgrounds than darker text over lighter backgrounds. Relate your elements with each other. Like the fonts, colors and images.
Picture and images – do post related pictures and images to your post. It is also an easy way of entertainment to your blog. Our eyes are fast scans first the wholeness of the blog and any interesting images catches it. Don't forget to add a caption.

For our blog to be successful, we need a rich and heavy use of optimizing our keywords for search engines crawling over links, they will probably build connection with it.

In a simpler way, using your keywords probably about 1.5 % in a total number of words in your post in order for it to be visible and searchable on search engines like Mr. Google and Ms. Yahoo. It is a matter or step by step progress you build with your blog. A no magic for top search queries for organic results in thee search engine.

But on the other hand, some says that too much is bad and too much keywords floods and may result negative result instead. Let's us be aware of not over using it and instead make it friendly to our readers.

So here's some tips to consider about SEO we had observed:

try making 1.5% -3% keyword density over total word count on your posts with a minimum of 500+ words per article or blog post.
try using synonyms instead for non-abusive use of keywords. Remember: too much is bad.
make use of bold and italic letters for keywords to make it strong and give emphasis to the readers.

Whatever we do with our blogs to keep it in frame, we just make it friendly to our readers by giving them the information they were looking for. We feed them with the guides they needed as we feed ourselves with satisfaction that we helped them in any way we could.

For the past year I've been blogging, I've always noticed that most of the websites and blogs that I visited has RSS Feeds. I was really wondering on how to put RSS Feeds in my own blog and I've researched but unfortunately I had a hard time looking for instructions on how to do it, although I've read of it most of the time.

We all know that for some reasons, on daily basis, blogging tools are just like utensils, we need on our daily life, at our own appliances or gadget can you go without your phone? Or can you explore internet without connection, or simply can you write without your pen? It just answer the fact that your blog is nothing if blogging tools aren't present in any way.

The appearance of my blogs are almost the same, on the center are my posts, on the left and right, are the gadgets I thought are must-have's of any blog.

The 'must-have' blogging tools I used.

1. Easy Access 'Share Tools'

When readers find something interesting to share, they split it on social networking sites they enlisted. And that's a plus factor for bloggers to add for traffic. That's even another chance for shared allocation like on Facebook and Twitter.

2. Search Box

A way of looking for something on your blog is through 'searching'. It does expand the time a reader can spend on your blog and that's another plus factor for traffic.

3. Blog Archive, Labels and Popular Posts List

This is also another way for an easy access of the entire blog, also to navigate blog according to dates, titles or the popular posts enlisted.

4. Comment Box

Comments are important part of a blog. Bloggers do tend to communicate to readers through this. Another tip I read is that bloggers should encourage readers to reply or comment to whatever post they interact or engage.

5. Linking Older Posts to Latest Post

Linking your posts to each other will add a positive reputation to your blog and for traffic. Here's I wrote about How to use LinkedWithin to your posts.

These are just my top list blogging tools I used but I also experimented on exploring other tools that I thought are really quite usefull and effective for my blogs. How to Make Blogging Offline: Writing Through Office OneNote

It does sometimes helps when you're offline and you have the chance to explore the things you have back without being online. And my recent exploration and another way of blogging offline is through writing on Office OneNote.

Imagine this notebook and this bookmarks are the pages for your notes.

Here's some steps on how to make blogging offline through Office OneNote:

1. Open Office OneNote.

2. Set a new Notebook. Go to File, New and Notebook.

3. Specify the notebook's name, color and template.

4. Add the Sections in your notes.

5. In each section, you can add a lot of Pages.

Start making your articles then. And opppssss… Saving is not an action anymore, it does automatically.

The best thing about Office OneNote is that it helps you make blogging offline. You can connect it to your blog when the time your online. See? It does manage the time and money you are going to spend because as a blogger, we prefer a manageable time to spend in each activity or job we do for such specific time. Writing on Squidoo

Have you ever heard about Squidoo? We recently scanned our old notes about our blogging lessons and found out that our mentor had a list about writing on Squidoo and other get-paid-to-write-articles websites.

We tried it, as we usually do. Anyways, the ambiance on this site was quite kiddie and funny but still with the essence of being serious. Funny in a way that they use cartoon characters as a representation. They give points for leveling and trophies for everything you do with your dashboard as an achievement.

What was really amazing with it is that you can serve ads with Google Adsense and E-bay without even applying for it. As we all know that the standards of Adsense are really much hard to achieve. We had tried it once and we failed.

The only TOS(Terms of Service) we really remembered about them is that the article you wrote should be G-Rated because if you tried even once an X-rated article, you will automatically be deleted as member of them. So keep that in mind and we won't even try it.

Writing offline by Windows Live Writer

The technology as of today really embeds itself into modernization for a better life like for a new blogger like me, Windows Live Writer is really a great help.

I was really glad when I first discovered this tool. A great way on working offline with your blogs. These also features a theme from your blog so it does really look like your working on your blog online.

I am using Windows 7, so it has a more modern programs that really is very much useful. You could even make a draft and set a date to when it would be published. At least, you could make a progress out of your blog, working on writing more with a less expense on being online. It is also a way of making, using and developing your blog on a much lesser effort on finance, although wifi’s are everywhere, but not at all free.

So, try discovering and adding your blogs on Windows Live Writer and start enjoying your blogging today.

Today, I had a visitor named GB, so I tried to visit his blog also. So, as I examined his blog, it was really wonderful. The whole is in a white background and that its clean and amazing. But what really amaze me more was the LinkWithin widget he had. It is the automated links within your blog. This was all I've been looking for months now and thanks to him.

Anyways, I hurriedly and excitedly signed-up for it.

First, you open the website LinkWithin.

2. Then install the widget within your blog. Just follow the instructions given in LinkWithin.

Commision Junction is a website compounding a lot of advertisers with different products. It is really a great opportunity for publishers to be a member of it. Recently is know as cj.com.

Just today, I signed for an account on CJ:

First, go to Commission Junction website
Click the Get Started
Click the Publisher and an explanation of its function appears. You may also be an Advertiser, making your own Agency or Network.
Then, click the Get Started Now.
Complete all the necessary information needed for the registration as a publisher. And that's it.

To started on publishing ads with your blog:

Go to Get Links.
Choose your preferred categories for advertisers.
Tip: Select all Advertisers so that you can find as many as you can at a time.
Click the Apply to Program and see how many approvals you get.

To see how many advertisers approved you being their publisher:

Click By Relationship, still under Get Links.
Click on your preferred Advertiser.
Click on Get Links. A series of products or services they offered are shown.
On the right end corner of the table, click on Get HTML.
Then post it on your blog!

Monetizing your blog through Chitika

Finally, after a month of waiting for the approval of being a publisher of Chitika, we can now finally enjoy it. It is said that Chitika is one of the most popular advertisement here in the blogosphere, so I tried to apply for the publisher's side. This is also one way of monetizing your blog, a good start being it successful.

The registration was easy, you just have to :

Click the Publisher's Overview and then click the Get Started.
Fill-out the Publisher Program-Apply

But, it doesn't mean that when your done with the registration, you can use it immediately. For we thought that after the registration it was then approved, but we were just disappointed for we can't even open my account. There was a reason, after a month of forgetting about, we were just surprised that on March 8,we received an e-mail from Chitika for the approval of our ads :).

Thank God, we are using it for the moment together with my local ads.
