Add Navigation Bar (Menu bar HTML, Navigation Menu) For Blogspot

This option is not provided by blogger "Pages" Gadget. If you want to put different URLs to your menu you can either add link list gadget and place it at the place where the menus should be or you can edit the HTML and add the "Menus" gadget. But the two methods give you totally different results. Because the selected items will not be highlighted in "link list" gadget. But "Menus" gadget will highlight. So my personal opinion is to add "Menu" gadget rather than inserting the "Link List". Anyway selection is up to you.

In this post I am going to show you how to make a "menu" gadget for your Blogger blog page. Let's get started,

First of all make sure to save your blogger blog template. For this go to your "Dashboard" then click on "Design", and then select "Edit HTML". Then click on "Download full template".

After that select "Page elements" and you will go to "page elements". Here you should delete the "pages" gadget if you already have it. If not or after removing the gadget just go back to "Edit HTML". There you should put a tick to "Expand Widget Templates". It will reload your HTML codes.

Now find the following code,

Now go to the bottom of the page and click on "SAVE TEMPLATE". Now you are at the end of the process. This is the time to select "Page Elements" tab at the left upper part of the page. Then you will see a gadget called "MENU" inside your page elements. At the right bottom corner of that gadget you will see a mark called "Edit". Select it. Following window will appear.

Then add Urls to the "New site URL", and add the name that you want to display on your menu in to "New Site Name"

Save it and view your blog. That's all. Now you can add more and more web addresses to your menu.

If you want to add your "pages" to your gadget follow the procedure below,

select "POSTING" ---> "EDIT PAGES"

Then click "VIEW" on the page you want to add to your menu gadget. Copy the address of the page from the address bar. Then paste it in the "New Site Url" in the menu gadget. Thats all.

Even though I have written few tips on traffic building, most of the people are still struggling to get descent traffic from search engines. That is because my earlier posts are not purely base on search engine related traffic.

Why they get less traffic from search engines? There are several reasons. The most common reason is their blogs /websites are not optimized for search engines. Other reason is they read too much on SEO from different sources, but they never tried to implement those in to their blogs. They think reading can bring visitors to their blogs. No it will never happen. You should read the techniques that can bring more visitors to your blog. At the same time you MUST do what those articles are saying.

In this post I am going to talk on few tips on Search Engine Optimization (SEO). You may know some of these strategies already, because these are freely available in most SEO sites. But still you may not touch on these techniques. So do this today itself.
Let’s get in to the topic proper;

1. First thing I want to stress on you is content and products. You may think I am going to say the same story. Yes, because content is the most important to bring your blog up in the ladder. So don’t copy content from other blogs. Make your own content and update your blog regularly.

2. Next step is key words. You should add your key words within the first 20 -30 words in your post. This is very, very important. But make sure not to add key words without any mean. You should articulate those key words to few sentences.

3. Then add your key words evenly throughout your post. But make sure not to repeat those inappropriately. Other thing is don’t go behind highly competitive key words.

4. Add focused key words. You should focus your customer expectations in order to make your key word list. Then add those as I mentioned earlier.

5. Now it is the time to optimize your post with META Tags. Use different META tags for each post. Don’t fill your META tag with key words. Make your META description to describe your content clearly. Put key words only related to that particular post. I will show you how to add different META tags for each post in my future posts.

6. Next thing, once your visitor entered your blog he should feel that this is an important blog. And the blog should be attractive but the navigation should be easy. Your links should direct the person to the right content. So make your design more palatable to your readers.

7. Don’t make pages with dead ends. Every page should have links to a new article. Then visitor will retain on your blog for hours. Then he will remember your blog.

8. Make sure to submit all the pages of your blog to search engines. Whenever you see a free submission tool do it. But make sure not to spam too much. If they detect you as a spammer, they will block you forever.

9. I am reluctant to use most automated services, because they spam the search engines. So I prefer do it manually.

10. Always keep an eye on your competitor. And make your strategies according to your observations.

Wordpress rules this part, where Blogger has the limitations of adding meta tags to individual posts. This limitation can be easily overcome by tweaking the Blogger template to some extent to add meta tags to all the Blogger posts.

How to Submit or Index more than 30 URLs in Google Webmaster Tools

Google provides a way to Submit websites and blogs using their Webmaster tool. All it needs is a sitemap. Blogger uses its feeds as sitemap for indexing. You may notice that for blogs that have more than 26 pages, Google Webmaster can only grab the Latest 26 URLs for indexing. I suffered a lot to get indexed for my all URLs to GWT, here i'll share something very unique with you...

Once your blog is verified you can add sitemaps for your blog {From the Left Pane > Site Configuration > Sitemap}.In the Sitemap url give the following url as shown below and click the Submit Sitemap button

NOTE :- IN PLACE http://facebookjocks.blogdspot.com your blog

If you have more than 100 posts on your blog, then add an additional sitemap url

Looking at my mobile phone usage i can tell that i use the phone primarily for making calls and sending the occasional SMS .I do not use internet ,apps or other fancy stuff that "smart phones" ship with these days .if i had the choice ,i 'd buy a phone that comes without camera and all the qimmicks that i do not need.

i received the samsung GT-s8500 when i renewed my contact with T-mobile. that was about a year ago and i never bothered to connect the phone to the internet or see if samsung has released a newer firmware for the device.

That changed today when I decided to find out how to update the phone’s firmware. And since I’m probably not the only one who cannot figure it out in a matter of seconds, I have decided to write a tutorial on how its done.
You need the following equipment to check for and install updates: The Samsung Androidphone, the USB cable to connect the phone to the computer, and the Samsung Kies software [here] which handles the updating and other things.
Install Samsung Kies first. This may take a while. The program installs mobile phone drivers and may restart your computer without warning. Next thing that you need to do is to close all open applications on your phone. This is done by holding down the center button on the phone’s front until a new screen pops up with an option to close all running applications.
Use the USB cable to connect your mobile device to the computer and select Samsung Kies as the USB connection method. Start the software, the mobile phone should be recognized immediately.
Samsung Kies will search for updates automatically if the computer it is running on is connected to the Internet.

I’d advise anyone to stop the process at that time to export the phone’s settings and data to the PC first. Firmware updates may alter or remove data on the phone and it is always a good idea to make sure you can restore your data if that is the case.
Click Import/Export in Kies, switch to Export and use the Export buttons to backup the phone’s data to your computer. You can backup contacts, photos, music, videos, schedule, or to-dos.

Go back to the basic information tab in the Samsung Kies software after you have backed up your phone’s data. Click on the Firmware Update button to start the upgrade.

An informational page is displayed next. Samsung offers tips on how to make sure that the firmware update will complete without errors. The company suggests to connect the phone to a power supply, to back up data before the process, to not use the phone during the upgrade and to not connect other devices to the computer in that time.

The process may take up to 30 minutes, but is usually faster. My phone’s firmware upgrade took about five minutes.

If everything went fine you will receive a success message in the end. The device needs to be restarted (happened automatically in my case). You should now check if the data that you have stored on your phone is still available. If it is not, use the import feature of the Samsung Kies software to upload the data again to your phone.

Facebook is a social networking website that allows you to reconnect with old friends and keep in touch with current friends.it allows you to communicate by sending message ,posting status updates ,sending card and showing your links and dislikes .facebook also include a search tool that you can use to search for and view profiles of people you may want to become friend with if a person's facebook profile's setting are not set to "private" you can view the profile without being friend

Instruction

1. go to facebook .com and login to your account using your email address and password

2. type the full name of the person whose profile you want to view in the search bar at the top of the
page. you may see many people with the same name so select the "see more result for "option to
display the search result for the name you entered

3. select the person whose profile you want to view .if you are still unable to find the person ,click
the "people" button in the left panel .filter the result selecting the person's location or workplace.when you finally find the person whose profile you want to view ,click the link to that person to view the profile .

warning :-

If a facebook user has set his profile security setting to private , you may only see a limited version of his profile or nothing ,depend on the settings .in such a case, you have to add him as a friend toview the complete profile .

instructions

1. hide only your profile

sign in to the facebook home page with your email address and password .
click on "my privacy" to change who can see your profile . the my picture page lets you adjust each feature of your facebook account separately .if you want only hide certain features, like the mini-feed or photos , then adjust only those preference .
click on "edit setting" for the limited profile . you will land on a page with a preview of you current limited profile
choose all or none of the facebook features you want people to see on you limited profile to completely hide your profile ,make sure all boxes are unchecked before hitting the "save"
add people to the limited profile list from the my privacy page .people you want on the list can only view the features you let them see. they will still be your friends , however only view the features you let them see. they will still be your be your friends ,

7. search for useres to add to the "block people list" .you can add any user on facebook once

added, that user will not be abel to view any part of your profile or find you when doing

9. click "Remove" next to the person's name if you later decide you don't want to block the person
