Jaipur is known for its culture and heritage, its architecture and Chokhi Dhani. Chokhi Dhani is an ethnic resort on the outskirts of Jaipur around 22 km from Jaipur main city. Even though it is a resort, it provides a village outlook and traditional view of Rajasthan.
The entry to Chokhi Dhani costs around Rs. 700 and once in, one can see a plethora of activities going on. The first thing to do is try out the various games and activities. The "makeshift bowling alley", "throw a ball in Matka" and "shooting balloons" and many other countrysides games provide plenty of amusement.

Apart from games, one can enjoy the mesmerizing traditional Rajasthani Dance show, which will make one forget time and the magic show for the audience waiting to get charmed.

Jaipur is known for its culture and heritage. Most of the travelers roam about the city to have a look at the forts and museums. Even though the site of every building in Jaipur is awe-worthy, there is still a need of some place to party for the night owls and late sleepers. At this point I would say, Jaipur is not just about CULTURE and HERITAGE. Today in this blog I will tell about two party places and how to enjoy them in their own way.

The first one I am going to talk about is Blackout. Blackout is not you typical discotheque, but a lounge kind of place where you can have two beers and some great food with your friends. Pro Tip: Book the table on the terrace as the view of Jaipur city from up there is stunning. You get to see the city lights just like the ones you get to see from Nahargarh.

Blackout is literally the most chilling place of Jaipur. Go there! Great place to hang out with your friends, lots of food on the menu, a fewer alcohol options and the best thing - Hookah. Pro Tip Again: Try the mint and double apple hookah flavor there. In alcohol, you can try the electric LIIT.

Blackout is a place to sit, drink, smoke and eat, with mild music and lots of space for private conversions. Go there to chill, sit with your friends and have a great time.

The second one I am going to talk about is House of People(HOP). Unlike Blackout, HOP offers loud music and a place for dancing feets and trippy hip. HOP provides more variety of alcohol and is generally more crowded than Blackout. If you are a silent type of a guy and enjoys peaceful company with your friends then HOP is not a place for you. Blackout is more to your liking. Just like Blackout, food is amazing here.

Pro Tip: Try out Chick Pea Feta Fritters and House nachos for starters, and unlike Blackout, great variety of Cocktails and drinks. Pro Tip Again: JaegerBomb is a must.

Lastly, I would like to say, Dancing feet: Go to HOP for partying and Silent feet: Go to Blackout for enjoying the night and spending a quality time.

Chai, Chai, Chai - A sip of tea in Jaipur - Part 2

In my earlier blog, I talked about Tapri, a famous tea spot in Jaipur, and how it is known for its awesome tea and beautiful location.

In this blog, I am going to talk about another Tea spot in Jaipur - Tea Tradition, which is located on Subhash Marg in C-scheme. The entrance to Tea Tradition is a garden full of various flora and gives the soothing vibes to ease your mind and relax your body. Tea Tradition has a menu rich of off-beat snacks like Tandoori Maggi, cheese omelette, and many others. Apart from the snacks, Tea tradition offers a variety of teas like Masala Tea, Ginger Tea, Kali Mirch Tea and many others.

My friends order the cardamom Tea, but I was adamant on trying the Masala chai(My favorite) and it was worth it. Before going there, do look out whether some kind of an event is going on or not, as when we went there, a stand-up comedy event, hosted and performed by the owner, was going on.

Lastly, I would say just like Tapri, Tea tradition relaxes your mind and unlike Tapri, Tea Tradition is not overcrowded 😋, but just like Tapri, if you are a chai(tea) lover you will fall in love with this place and if you are not, this place will make you fall in love with tea.

What is the most important thing a Chai(Tea) lover needs to do when visiting another city? Check out the famous tea points there. Here I will be telling you about the two famous tea joints in Jaipur - Tapri and Tea Tradition. After a long drive from Delhi to Jaipur, nothing can swish away your lethargy other than a cup of hot tea.

This is the main reason I decided to explore Tapri, a famous Tea spot, for some amazing chai and light snacks and believe me I was not disappointed. When I entered Tapri, I found the place a little overcrowded. My friends and I had to wait there for some time, but the wait was worth it. We ordered some Khakhra, Masala Maggi and Cheese Vada Pav for snacks and Cardomon Tea and Kesar Tea as soon as we got our table. After placing the order, we roamed around the terrace adjacent to the cafe. The view just made my day. The park in front of the cafe gave a mesmerizing scenic experience. Even though my friends and I were enjoying the view, I was constantly looking out for our order because of my inner food and tea junkie. The moment our order came we rushed back to our table to gobble down all the delicious looking items.

Khakhra - Amazing, Maggi - Delicious, Vada Pav - fulfilling and the teas - Out of the world. Lastly, I would say whenever you are going to Jaipur, do check out this place for some awesome tea, if you are a chai(tea) lover like me you will fall in love with this place and if you are not, this place will make you fall in love with tea.

Relaxing night at Nahargarh Fort

Nahargarh Fort, situated at around 700 ft, is a gem of Jaipur and an important heritage of India. Built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734 is now a famous tourist destination and is recommended by all while visiting Jaipur. It may be high and all for enjoying the archite
ctural wonders of Rajasthan, but little is known about the panoramic view of the whole city from Padao Cafe. Situated at the highest point of Nahargarh Fort, Padao cafe offers a variety of food and beverages which can be enjoyed while sitting at the edge of the fort, looking down at the city like you are the king.

The best time to relax at the fort is at night mainly because of these three points.

Cool Breeze to chill up your spine.
Beer/Cold Drink to chill up your throat.
City Lights to chill up your eyes.

In short Nahargarh Fort and Padao Cafe were an out of the world experience for me and I would never forget the serene time there. If you are planning your trip to Jaipur do spend at least 4-5 hours in Padao Cafe and enjoy the evening breeze. Just one last thing don't go alone, go in a group because you will get bored like hell sitting there alone.
