The Sewing Machine
The first functional sewing machine was invented by the French tailor, Barthelemy Thimonnier, in 1830. In 1834, Walter Hunt built America's first (somewhat) successful sewing machine. Elias Howe patented the first lockstitch sewing machine in 1846. Isaac Singer invented the up-and-down motion mechanism. In 1857, James Gibbs patented the first chain-stitch single-thread sewing machine. Helen Augusta Blanchard patented the first zig-zag stitch machine in 1873.

Television
In 1884, Paul Nipkow sent images over wires using a rotating metal disk technology with 18 lines of resolution. Television then evolved along two paths, mechanical based on Nipkow's rotating disks, and electronic based on the cathode ray tube. American Charles Jenkins and Scotsman John Baird followed the mechanical model while Philo Farnsworth, working independently in San Francisco, and Russian émigré Vladimir Zworkin, working for Westinghouse and later RCA, advanced the electronic model.

The Automobile

The motorcycle is a single-track, two-wheeled motor vehicle powered by an engine. Although the first gasoline/petrol motorcycle powered by an internal combustion engine was built in 1885 by a German named Gottlieb Daimler, his may not have been the first motorcycle. Ironically, Daimler's motorcycle used a four-stroke internal combustion engine that wasn't of his own creation, instead having to rely upon an engine built by Nicolaus August Otto which he simply mounted onto the frame of a bicycle. Furthermore, if the definition of a motorcycle is inclusive of a steam engine and not exclusive to an internal combustion engine, then the world's first motorcycle may either have been American; a coal-powered, two-cylinder, steam-driven motorcycle known as the Roper steam velocipede invented by Sylvester Howard Roper in 1867;[169][170] or perhaps a French one, independently invented by a competing claim by French blacksmith Pierre Michaux and engineer Louis-Guillaume Perreaux, who invented the Michaux-Perreaux steam velocipede in 1868.

Toilet paper is a soft paper product (tissue paper) used to maintain personal hygiene after human defecation or urination. However, it can also be used for other purposes such as absorbing spillages or craft projects. Toilet paper in different forms has been used for centuries, namely in China. The ancient Greeks used clay and stone; the Romans, sponges and salt water. But according to a CNN article, the idea of a commercial product designed solely to wipe a person's buttocks was by New York City entrepreneur Joseph Gayetty, who in 1857, invented aloe-infused sheets of manila hemp dispensed from Kleenex-like boxes. However, Gayetty's toilet paper was a failure for several reasons. Americans soon grew accustomed to wiping with the Sears Roebuck catalog, they saw no need to spend money on toilet paper when catalogs for their use came in the mail for free, and because during the 19th century, it was a social taboo to openly discuss bathroom hygiene with others. Toilet paper took its next leap forward in 1890, when two brothers named Clarence and E. Irvin Scott of the Scott Paper Company co-invented rolled toilet paper.

Air conditioning is the cooling and de-humidification of indoor air for thermal comfort. Using a system of coils as a solution to cool and remove moisture from muggy air in a printing plant that was wrinkling magazine pages, Willis Carrier invented and manufactured the world's first mechanical air conditioning unit in 1902.[87] Carrier's invention – encompassing the first system to provide man-made control over temperature, humidity, ventilation and air quality, was first installed as a solution to the quality problems experienced at a Brooklyn printing plant, Sackett-Wilhelms Lithographing and Publishing Company. Air conditioning not only spawned a company and an industry, but also brought about profound economic, social and cultural changes.

A fixed-wing aircraft, or airplane, is a heavier-than-air craft whose lift is generated by air pressure differential between the upper and lower wing surfaces. The Wright brothers, Wilbur and Orville Wright of Dayton, Ohio, made the first powered and sustained airplane flights under control of the pilot in the Wright Flyer I on December 17, 1903 in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.[90][91][92] In the two years afterward, they developed their flying machine into the world's first practical fixed-wing aircraft.[93] By October 1905, the Wright Flyer III was capable and proven to circle in the air 30 times in 39 minutes for a total distance of 24.5 miles.[94] The brothers' fundamental breakthrough was their invention of "three-axis control", which enabled the pilot to steer the aircraft effectively and to maintain its equilibrium. This required method has become standard on all fixed-wing aircraft. From the beginning of their aeronautical work, the Wright brothers focused on unlocking the secrets of control to conquer "the flying problem," rather than on developing more powerful engines as some other experimenters did. Charles Edward Taylor built the first aircraft engine and was a vital contributor of mechanical aspects in the building and maintaining of early Wright engines and airplanes.[95] Although there were many earlier attempts at heavier-than-air powered flight, some of which achieved successful short hops,[96] and disputed earlier claims of sustained flight,[97] the Wright brothers are officially credited by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale, the international record-setting body for aeronautics and astronautics, as achieving "the first sustained and controlled heavier-than-air powered flight".[98] In addition, U.S. patent number #821393 for the airplane, was filed by Orville Wright on March 23, 1903 and was issued in May 1906

The windshield wiper is a bladed device used to wipe rain and dirt from a windshield. In 1903, Mary Anderson is credited with inventing the first operational windshield wiper.[100][101] In Anderson's patent, she called her invention a window cleaning device for electric cars and other vehicles. Operated via a lever from inside a vehicle, her version of windshield wipers closely resembles the windshield wiper found on many early car models. Anderson had a model of her design manufactured. She then filed a patent (U.S. patent number 743,801) on June 18, 1903 that was issued to her by the U.S. Patent Office on November 10, 1903.

Several different types of balers are commonly used, each producing a different type of bales – rectangular or cylindrical (round), of various sizes, bound with twine, netting, or wire. The round hay baler was invented by Ummo F. Luebben of Sutton, Nebraska, which he conceived with his brother Melchior in 1903, and then patented in 1910. The invention of the round hay baler revolutionized the laborious task of haying into a one-man, low-cost operation with a machine that automatically gathered the hay, rolled into a round bale, and ejected it

1904 Banana split

A banana split is an ice cream-based dessert. In its classic form it is served in a long dish called a boat. A banana is cut in half lengthwise (hence the split) and laid in the dish. There are many variations, but the classic banana split is made with scoops of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream served in a row between the split banana. Although the banana as an exotic fruit was introduced to the American public in the 1880s, it was later in 1904, that the banana split was invented in the town of Latrobe, Pennsylvania by 23-year-old pharmacy apprentice David Strickler, who was inspired to create a new sundae after seeing a soda jerk during a visit to Atlantic City. According to The Food Chronology, written in 1995 by James Trager, Strickler concocted his sundae to include three scoops of ice cream on a split banana, topped with chocolate syrup, marshmallow, nuts, whipped cream, and a cherry that sold for a dime. Other soda jerks soon imitated Strickler's banana split, albeit in other forms

1905 Fly swatter

A fly swatter is a hand-held device for swatting flies and other insects. Samuel Crumbine, a member of the Kansas board of health, wanted to raise public awareness of the threat of flies. He was inspired by a chant at a Topeka softball game: "swat the ball". In a health bulletin published soon afterwards, he exhorted Kansans to "swat the fly". In response, a schoolteacher named Frank H. Rose created the "fly bat", a device consisting of a yardstick attached to a piece of screen. Crumbine invented the device now commonly known as the fly swatter.

1905 Ice pop

An ice pop is a frozen water-based dessert on a stick. It is made by freezing a colored, flavored liquid around a stick. Once the liquid freezes solid, the stick can be used as a handle to hold the ice pop. The ice pop was invented by 11-year-old Frank Epperson in 1905. Living in San Francisco, California, Epperson had left a fruit drink out overnight, with a stirrer in it, thus making it freeze. In 1923, Epperson got a patent on his "frozen ice on a stick". Epperson also invented the twin ice pop, with two sticks so it could be shared by two children. The most famous brand name associated with the ice pop is Popsicle.

1907 Curtain rod

A curtain rod or traverse rod is a device used to suspend curtains, usually above windows or along the edges of showers, though also wherever curtains might be used. The flat, telescoping curtain rod was invented by Charles W. Kirsch of Sturgis, Michigan, in 1907. However, they were not in use until the 1920s. Kirsch also invented the traverse curtain rod in 1928.

A school teacher in Ashland, Ohio, named Kurt Klier, gave students individual paper squares, so that the single towel in the bathroom would not be infected with germs. When Arthur Scott, head of the Scott Paper Company heard about it, he decided to try and sell a load of paper that had been made too thick to use as toilet paper.

An electric mixer is a kitchen appliance used for whipping, beating, and folding food ingredients. It typically consists of a handle mounted over a large enclosure containing the motor, which drives one or two beaters. The beaters are immersed in the food to be mixed. The first electric mixer was invented by Herbert Johnston in 1908 and sold by the KitchenAid division of the Hobart Manufacturing Company.

I have always loved the ancient Egyptians. Thier history and culture have always been a source of extreme fascination to me. I also adore cats. I did not know domestic cats came from Egypt when I first fell in love with felines, I was not aware cats were worshiped by the Egyptians when I fell in love with this ancient culture. But it was a wonderful surprise when long ago I found the connection to them. Here is a really wonderful story I read and wanted to share.

PROTECTED

By far, the most fanatical demonstration of Egypt's devotion to her cats occurred in 500 B.C.2 during a period of warfare with Persia. At the city of Pelusium, the Persian and Egyptian armies engaged in fierce combat, but the Egyptians resisted the onslaught with a fixed determination to save their city. The resolve of the Egyptian war machine proved too much for the rapidly tiring Persian army. Sensing ruinous defeat if the battle continued, the Persians retreated while they still could. The Egyptians knew that this wouldn't be the end of it, so the army maintained a condition of battle readiness, waiting for the Persians to return.

What the Persians were up to was a brilliant scheme that displayed a profound understanding of their enemy's culture and beliefs. They discovered a kink in the Egyptian armor, a weakness they would fully exploit. Night after night, the Persians deployed their elite forces to the villages and towns of the surrounding countryside, silently capturing as many cats as they could lay their hands upon. Once satisfied with the number of animals they'd collected, the Persian army returned to the city of Pelusium. The Egyptians first noticed the distant clouds of dust, kicked up by the approaching Persian army, at dawn. The troops were readied for battle in an orderly manner, well rested and ready for combat.

Within an hour, the two armies positioned themselves in assembled ranks, glaring at each other across the battlefield. The Egyptian General signaled for the attack. In an instant, the Egyptian army charged upon the Persians who, oddly enough, held their ground. The Egyptians roared like thunder as they rapidly advanced on the Persian front line. Suddenly, there was movement within the Persian forces. Curious, but undaunted, the Egyptians continued their charge. Then, they saw a sight that nearly froze them in their tracks. Hundreds of panic stricken cats were released upon the battlefield. The Egyptian army watched in horror as the sacred animals ran about in deadly fear. Confusion spread through the Egyptian ranks as the Persian army seized the opportunity to take the aggressive. Advancing upon the stunned Egyptians in a evenly paced march, each of the Persian soldiers held forth a terrified cat. The Egyptians knew then and there that they were defeated.

Not a single Egyptian soldier dared to engage the enemy, fearing that to do so might endanger the lives of the cats. Without suffering a single casualty, the Persians secured their victory, devastating the Egyptians. It has been suggested that the Egyptians initially used the cat to control the rodent population which continually destroyed crops. This seems to be a reasonable speculation, but it's obvious that the cat meant much more to the Egyptians than that. Kingdoms don't loose wars merely for the sake of four-legged mousetraps.

I think it is time others stop sitting around judging others for their race, creed, religion, sex or birthplace. Often the ones doing the harshest judgement are jealous and full of hate. It is not anyone's place to judge another and try to dictate how you feel they should behave. If a person changed to fit your narrow view just as you wanted them to would you be happy? Or would you find another reason to hate them? Where does it end? Should we all just be zombies to your will? Would even that make you happy? Who even has the right to make such judgments? I mean it really who does? No one not one person on this planet has the right to judge another no matter where you are from or how much money you have or what color you are or even if you have filled your self with an arrogant ego. But i think I'm wasting my energy trying to make this point. Once a person is stuck in there own self deluding stupidity they wont see thier way out. If you're going to sit in judgment don't be surprised when you are judged.

The Egyptians were not black and up until the Greeks where not white. The Egyptians looked something more like the Chinese or Japanese and probably closer to the Mongolians or Native Americans , just look at the Nefertiti bust for this example. I'm sick of the race war over this time of history. Black and white can not win because the Egyptians until the Ptolemaic dynasty were neither black or white.
If it is true Egyptians were black then it is also true they were slave owners of the Jewish who are very pail in comparison. So this means I can scream racism? Steal other peoples history? Not a comic a lot of people have heard of, I know this for a fact because when I'm ask about things I like and bring this up I am looked at as if I have grown 4 heads suddenly. None the less this comic series is very close to my heart. When I was an unloved unwanted 15 year old kid in foster homes where I was tormented, belittled and abused, I found this wonderful series. By then it had been wrote into a book. On a trip to the library one day I wondered threw the place poking and picking at the books. I liked reading but I was just glad I was not still at the foster house lonely and board again when I stumbled upon this book. The drawing on the cover was really excellent and drew me right in I turned the book over and read the back and I was in love right then. I went back to the dismal house and went into my room where I lay in my bunk bed and started my escape. I didn't stop reading the book for days and even after I finished the book it stayed with me. I hated returning the book because it had been the only real escape I had ever gotten, I got to forget at least for a few days that the life I was in was hell. I found the book again after much searching around 19 and met the writer of the book Richard Pini thought at first I had forgotten the name of the book and did not know at the time I was speaking to my favorite author. I talked about the book a bit with him and he finally told me yes that sounds like our book and I agreed to purchase one. After it arrived I was delighted it was the same book! I was so happy I looked everywhere for more of the series and at another library I found The Blood of Ten Chiefs a series to the original I had fallen in love with. I read one of the books from the library so often the librarian finally just gave me the book. later when I was in my mid 20's my mother finished my Blood of Ten Chiefs collection as I had the first 2 already. These books were so very dear to me and got me threw many a hard time. I took them on an ill fated trip with me at one point and all of them were either stolen or destroyed. This hurt a great deal, I don't think I can convey how hurt I was not with a million words. Now I have found Elfquest again and am saddened beyond words that the books are almost all but out of print, there are only a few remaining one can buy. The worst part about all of it is I can not afford any of them so I will have to forever let go of one of my few escapes and happy memory's in my life, anyone else would think me silly but I really want to grieve over this.

Book of the Month: Elfquest

Today is my birthday. And to me, this has everything to do with this month’s choice, especially since Elfquest is (sadly) basically out of print at this point (you can still find it around, sure, if you look). It’s really just a self-indulgent one. You can read all of it online here so you don’t have to spend any money to do so.

I know Elfquest is kind of a punchline for a lot of people, but as a 12-year-old, it was really the coolest thing ever. It had an epic story with a well-conceived mythology as well as a good mix of non-threatening sex and violence. You want to make fun of it now, sure, but that’s because you haven’t read it. It’s much better than you think it is. Trust me.

Wendy Pini was really one of the first women I was aware of who was making comics (this was back in the early ’90s, before the Internet, before things are now, and I didn’t get out much) and I don’t think she gets enough credit. I think I’ve said it before, but Wendy Pini was drawing anime-inspired comics before you even knew what anime was. Everyone who’s doing “American manga” now? I think you have Wendy to thank for paving the way, personally.

No, maybe Elfquest isn’t high art, but it’s smart, escapist fantasy and so much fun. I loved it as a kid and I still love it now. I remain impressed by the depth of storytelling.

So fine, this month’s choice isn’t exactly a book, but I still think you need to read it. If you do, consider that a great birthday present to me.

So sex changes............ No I don't want one I have just been thinking about them a lot lately. You know I don't know why I have been thinking about them a lot I just have. But it does get hard to look at the pictures. I don't even have a penis and it hurt my penis. I could have one if I wanted to change my sex. I scared this teenage kid once by telling him I had a sex change when I was in my early 20s, I can't even tell you why I did it except he was kinda creepy, after the look of horror on his face went away he ran away from me really quick. I'm thinking he had been wanking about me and felt sicked at what he may have wanked about, it was so hilarious!! Now I would have suspected he would have spread this news around and I was kinda disappointed when he didn't. I guess no one would believed him as I had given birth :(. I tried telling another kid but I couldn't stop laughing because my friend Christina wouldn't stop laughing.

Apparently if someone has had a female sex change operation how you can tell is that the vagina has a lot of scarring, the vagina does have differences but not enough for you to notice if you are not looking for them. And you really need to be looking. It is apparently a lot harder to make a penis for a male sex change operation and make it work. Often the penis is smaller in nature and often it will have some of the vaginal identifiers, also the head of the penis is smoother than that of a natural males. It also takes much longer to make the penis unlike the vagina that is almost done at once. The penis has to be built up over a matter of time until it reach a male type fullness. Wow the world of sex change is so interesting. the things we can now do is beyond belief. I'm not sure i can post the pictures i have been looking at. So you will just have to be satisfied reading my research.

I was looking through my stats, cos I just now found out how to do that. And I was impressed by just how many people come to search for... stuff in my blog.
What impressed me the most was that people keep looking and coming for thanksgiving pictures and stealing them off my post.
I bet they didn't even bother reading it.
The next biggest search I come across is knitted willy warmers. I think I should get my husband one of those for Christmas as I have it posted and all that jazz, and he hasn't even bothered to try one out.
I put up something about Halloween this year, and that's already got a lot of hits. I have no clue why. They are probably just stealing the pictures.
Now my very favourite search has to be for "gay anal love" on my Brokeback Mountain post. And while this may seem strange to you, I sit here finding myself wishing they were looking for things like "bloody tampons" and "botched boob jobs" and "freakish penises". 'Course I never blogged about any of that so it would be strange if they found it on my blog. But a girl can have dreams. You know I probably need to blog about that stuff if I want it to be searched for.
Christmas is coming and I already put up all of my Christmas decorations and have started buying Christmas gifts because, I am that bored. I bet you're wondering why I'm talking about that now, I'm wondering too.

You know, I watched gay porn for a long time after watching Brokeback Mountain, to try get used to the idea of watching men have intercourse.
After about four or five months I was okay watching it, after I stopped watching it and started watching again I still felt sickened and shocked. As stated before I love gay men, adore them even. But watching them have sex is just not for me.

It's probably something I need to discuss with him later. When did the modern Halloween celebration begin?

During the Middle Ages (about 600 years ago), the Roman Catholic Church at that time, decided to make the change-over from pagan religion to Christianity a bit easier, and therefore allowed the new converts to maintain some of their pagan feasts. It was agreed, however, that from now on they would be celebrated as "Christian" feats. So instead of praying to there heathen gods, they would now pray to, and remember the deaths of saints. For this reason the church decided to call November 1 the "Day of All Saints," and the mass to be celebrated on that day "Alhallowmass." In consequence of this, the evening prior to this day was named, "All Hallowed Evening" which subsequently was abbreviated as "Halloween." We all love St. Patrick's day, children pinch each other at school if there not wearing green, Adults drink them selves into a stupor on green beer, every one makes Corn beef and cabbage And there's this marry feeling in the air!

But whats the true story of why we commit gluttony and binge on drink? My husband asked me to explore this topic......

St. Patrick was born in Wales in 387. His father's name was Calpornius and his mother's name was Conchessa. He lived in a villa in the country. He was captured by a man named Niall of the Nine Hostages or as most people know him as Niall Naoi nGiallach. They took him to Ireland and sold him to a farmer who lived in Antrim.

The farmer's name was Milchu. Patrick minded sheep on a hill and sometimes he tended pigs. They say he wasn't looked after very well. Sometimes he ate the pig's swill to keep him alive. He prayed every night. Then one night he heard a voice. It was God. He was telling him he had to escape. He thought he was dreaming but God told him he wasn't. The voice said that there was a ship waiting for him in Port Laraige (Waterford). He had to walk there and that wasn't easy. He had to kill animals for food to stay alive. He survived and got there.

There was a ship waiting for him but it had a cargo of wolfhounds for France. Patrick asked the captain, "Is this boat heading for France?" The captain asked him, "Why are you in such a hurry". Then the captain said, "You're a slave and you want to escape". Patrick said, "Well actually, I am". Quickly the captain replied, "I'm not taking a slave in my boat". Patrick got off. The ship left the pier and suddenly the hounds went berzerk and they had to return quickly. They tried again and each time the hounds went mad. Patrick said, "If you let me on that boat I will make sure that the hounds will settle. The captain answered, "OK but if you're lying well throw you overboard". And surely the hounds calmed down as soon as Patrick boarded the ship. They stayed calm until they got to France. It took a longtime to get there around about six days. He was about 17 at this stage.

He got through it and eventually got back to Wales. He wasn't there long when again he heard the voice telling him to go back to Ireland to tell the Irish pagans all about Jesus. He realised then that he wanted to become a priest. It wasn't easy. He went back and started his training. He went to St.Martins Monastery in Tours, France to train. Then he went back to England. He met Pope Celestine. The Pope was very happy with him. Then Patrick told him the whole story including the voices. The Pope told him that it was definitely God. Patrick wasn't the first person to be sent to Ireland. But that person failed. His name was Pallaclius. He went to Ireland in 431.

Shortly afterwards Patrick returned to Ireland. He had some priests with him. It was Easter now. They got off the boat and headed inland. He camped at Slane. They decided they would light a fire. That night was a very special night for the Pagans. It was the beginning of growth and they were celebrating the coming of Spring. Unknown to him he had broken the law. Normally, the king, whose name was Laoghaire, would light the fire first and everybody would see it and then light theirs. Someone looked out and saw Patrick's fire and said, "Look that must be the king's fire". So they lit their fire and then everybody started lighting their fires. The king looked out and saw everybody's fire lit. He was furious. He shouted, "I didn't light my fire yet". So they went to the place where they thought the fire had started. They arrested all the foreigners including Patrick. They tried and tried and couldn't put the fire out, but only Patrick could do it because he had God on his side.

The chieftain Laoghaire didn't want to learn about God but he let Patrick speak. They were surprised how Patrick knew their language so well. Then Patrick picked up the shamrock and asked, "How many leaves are there?" They all said three. Then Patrick asked how many seeds were needed to make it. Someone said one. This is how he explained the Blessed Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The chieftain let him preach to anybody who would listen to him. A pagan priest said, "I will follow him".

He travelled up the east coast to Strangford Lough. He went ashore at Kilough in Co. Down. He went north and built a small church. He moved on to Connacht and then to Munster. He spent sixty years in Ireland. During that time he consecrated 350 Bishops to follow his ways. He died on the 17th of March 493 in Sabhall in County Down. Patrick's name comes from the name Patricius meaning Father. Most people couldn't pronounce his name properly at that time in Ireland so they originally called him Catrige.

Good advice for safer computing

1. When you need a free program that does something specific goto
http://www.softpedia.com or http://www.download.com which are sites that
scan every file they have for viruses or spyware, select free, or freeware
(or gpl) and search for what you need. If you find a website giving away
free software, then search it out on those two sites and download through
them.

2. Never ever ever use microsoft outlook express for your email, it
downloads everything to your computer, it is always best to view hotmail
online so you can choose what to download to your computer first.

3. If you piss off someone who is a cracker or knows a cracker, they can
easily hack your computer via you opening one of their files, and they
will always seem like files you wanted from them such as games, or funny
presentations. If you value your data then value it more than cheap porn
or a cheap laugh. If they get mad you wont open it, thats their h4X0r2
problem.

4. If they're really really mad at you then they'll get you on MSN
messenger so they can take a note of your ip which is the address of your
pc on the entire internet. MSN of course needs this to work properly but
chat messengers such as palscene understand the threat and hide your ip
behind their firewall. Crackers can also get your ip by sending you an
email with a photo in or having you visit their website, both ways means
that they can catch your ip address when you download the image in the
email or download the webpage to view (both of which are hosted on their
server).

5. You will still a virus eventually if you download pirated software, a
keygen is usally bogus with a virus that hasn't been discovered by your
antivirus company yet. If it says its clean it may not be which is why the
best defence is to not get infected in the first place. A good firewall is
essential for this also, that doens't include Mcaffee or windows firewall
but does include firewalls like Online Armor, research your firewall and
antivirus well.

6. Harking back to having data you care about on your pc, DONT. Simply put
don't put anything precious on a home pc, they are all falliable. Beware
of putting it on a DVD too because they scratch easily. And even a pocket
flash drive will forget your data in enough years time. The best bet if
you have things that are really valuable is to let a proffesional worrier
take care of it on a good file host that you have to pay for and who
doesn't appear to be going out of business. At home though keep it in a
safe place on a DVD or a flash drive you wont be using often and hope for
the best.: )

7. If you get a virus on your pc, or if you use a pc like a bitch you must
always format it as often as you can be bothered. Because you didn't leave
valuable files on your hard drive from step No 7 you dont care about your
pc and can wipe it and all its viruses whenever anything bad happens to
it, and laugh. This normally will make it run better than ever. But be
advised it can end up as a tech nightmare if you dont know what a driver
is or how to find it. The best advice is to format your pc with a friend
next to you who has their pc online to download needed files like Everest
for example (which can help you find the drivers you need for certain
sound cards etc.).

8. NEVER EVER fill out your accurate personal information anywhere if you
really dont have to. If a site wants you to register with an email
address, then create a different free yahoo email address for it. If you
have to fill out your name, then give a false name. If you need a
password, give a password you dont use for your banking etc. as well. It
is incredibly easy just with someone's full name to search out all their
internet footprints. You never know when you will find the wrong enemy. If
you have a unique username also, that is searchable too. Only give out
information if you want poeple to contact you, and only in the ways you
want them to contact you.

P.S. Lately the renound antivirus 2010 is still at large, if you have a
site say you are infected with a virus click OK to remove it, then instead
press ctrl-alt-delete go into task manager>processes and kill your
iexplorer.exe if you were in internet explorer or firefox.exe if you were
in firefox. Also if someone gives you a link its good practise to search
for it in google first to see whats there.

These are all things me and my husband have tried to teach friends a family.....Good luck!

Skipton Castle

I got to go see one of the best and most complete preserved castles from the mid evil times this week end, its classed as a castle but also as a fortress and it is 800 years old, I could see only one weak spot in all of the castle, it was this lovely court yard that over looked the 600 year old Church, Apparently there was once a pirate that lived in this castle, he is buried in the church he died at only 47 years old. We even got a tour of the dungeon it wasn't that big a dungeon but it was the part everyone was most interested in ( i thought to my self leave it to the English to be interested in the worst).

This is the castle kitchen, and a room off to the side was the castle bathroom, it was built off this long cliff into a stream ( i thought it was ingenious)
(the toilet has a suspiciously new toilet lid)

The king got 3 rooms all to him self! lucky bugger (no wonder the mid evil times were so hard, every one was pissed off cuz the king had the whole palace for his wanking fits!)and the view from his bed room

Here was the dungeon, it has no natural light, no fresh air, and no way to escape. It had a hole in the middle of the room called an Oubliette (meaning in french to forget) enemy's of the castle and prisoners and such would be drooped down this 8 to 10 foot hole and the hole would be covered in this huge piece of wood and they would just be forgotten, before the dungeon was there however it was called a killing room, the castle draw bridge was just over that room and when invaders would try to take the castle the draw bridge that had stilts would flip open and drop all the people on the bridge into this deep stone room. (this was the only part of the castle with some one telling story's phhtt predictable English)

Then we went and visited the 600 year old Church wrapping up our day ( it was breath taking) no words can describe the love i felt when i sat in the pews, I relax and feel it even just looking at the pics again.

If your ever around Skipton i recommend visiting this castle and church.

Fuck Manic Panic

I will never use any Manic Panic product again. I used to use there liquid makeup and it made my skin red, it was skin tone color so why it made me red (like I had Rosacea ) was a mystery, not only this but the makeup its self turned this kinda ugly yellow after a while.... Then I though ok I hear rave reviews about there hair dye and its supposed to be so gentle and great so I guess ill try it, I even saw videos and pictures that made this look like the answer to your punk hair color dreams! Well I tried to do the ends of my hair, I bleached out the black and applied shocking blue I left it on over night, when I woke up I washed it out, it was strange I couldn't even see were I had dyed my hair it was so dark, however as it washed out over time it did not turn a shocking shade of blue but what was shocking is that it was green! Ok so I only bleached my hair once and though maybe this is my fault as my hair was still orange when I put on the blue, BUT GREEN? I have tried to used manic panic one last time and this is the very last time I will ever use any of there cheap crappy products EVER! I started by bleaching my hair again and got it to a nice light blond I then applied Cotton Candy pink to my bleached hair left it on like 3 hours and blow dried it for a while to open up the cuticles to try to get that color really in there, then I washed it out....nothing but a pinkish tinge showed up, so ok fine I had over half a jar left so I applied all of the rest to my ends and left it over night with a bag around the hair I had put the dye on...i woke up and rinsed it out, well there's not much pink on my ends now at all still (some parts are still blond) maybe a little more tinged. I said it before and ill say it again I WILL NEVER USE THE CHEAP ASS CRAP MANIC PANIC PRODUCTS AGAIN!!!! I am going to be trying a new hair color called Fudge Paintbox Hair Dye Color, Its not supposed to be cheap and low quality like Manic Panic. After I use it if its crap ill probably write something about it. I sincerely hope this will fix the damaged mess Manic Panic has left my hair in.

Be careful if you decide to use Manic Panic products as the bleach, liquid make up and dye have all damaged my hair and skin.

So I have tried the Fudge Painbox hair color and it works great! I only had to leave the color on my hair for 30 mins (I left it on for 45 mins) before i got to see rich vibrant color! I love this stuff!!!
I will be using it next time i want loud vibrant color in my hair! Thank you Fudge Paintbox :*

At work Thursday I was ask for like the 1000 time how I got my hair 3 different colors (oh yeah I got a real job and my hair is mystic violet on the top black in the middle and purple on the ends) then I remember finally I had blogged about my hair color before and probably should do another update......Cuz im not at all lazy........Anyway I have been using stuff called La Riche Directions Hair Color since 06/2010, not only does it last longer on my hair than Fudge Painbox hair color it does not coast as much. Don't get me wrong Fudge Painbox hair color is great but La Riche Directions Hair Color is way better!!!

Addicted

I am hopelessly addicted to face book games....I don't have a the faintest clue as to why because they are irritating little games that wont let you do much on them daily!!! GGRRR.......None the less I play roughly 8 of them daily( the count is probably much higher). Now the problem I have encountered is that on my Pet Society game (currently my fave next to PetVille and Tiki Farm as well as My City Life....... ya ya I already told you im hoplessly addicted) is that by accident i made my pet male instead of female, however i cant bring my self to make it dress like a boy, so now my pet is a cross dresser.....a pretty cross dresser. He laughs like a twat though, I wonder what others in the game must think of my eccentric pet? OK i really don't care.

Between Facebook and Paltalk I have some semblance of a social life I guess. Your wondering why I don't just go into the world and make friends? Why on earth would I wanna go out there every one is crazy!! Pulse I'm to damned lazy to get off my ass.

Philosophy

What is your philosophy? Is it mundane or deep? Is it an ideal or belief? Is it a matter of truth or proof? Is it about the ego or humility? I know some one who claims them selves a philosopher, yet they refuse to see the smallest truth regarding them selves, they own a web site and when you say the slightest thing about there philosophy they don't like they fly into a rage, yet they steal all there philosophical pieces from others ( mainly one other). Then after a few years of thieving they tell you you don't understand them or there philosophy. Not only all this but to top it off they have an extremely large ego. Yea I guess I'm having another rant but a rant I need. Next time you meet someone who claims there a philosopher look a bit deeper. A philosopher is willing to see there own faults and face whom they really are , a philosopher wont steal there work from others but think deeply and come to there own conclusion. A philosopher will never try to make you believe what they want you to believe for there own comfort or ego. I wish you better luck than it appears I have had.
