In The Beginning

In the beginning when I started this journey in 2001 ...
I didn't know a thing about the internet or computers ...
I got sober and set my mind to change my life.

In 2003, my son enrolled in a program in school were he built his own computer. I was excited about this thing called a computer and wanted to learn everything I could about it. After his new computer was complete, he give me his old one, along with a game called Diablo. I taught me the game. This was the beginning, I played but never online. I didn't feel comfortable online since I had no experience.

In 2006, I went down to Texas to help my mother. She was very active with her computer and she was digitizing embroidery designs for her computerized embroidery machines. She taught me a lot about digitizing, maintenance and upkeep of a computer. A important thing that she shared with me was a safe search. She said before you click on a link, give it to Google and let them check it out for you first. That one tip laid the foundation that has put me were I am today. I built my Google profile then.

I heard that you could make money online so I began to study online marketing. I cannot even begin to tell you all I have seen in the last 6 years. So much money and time, but each experience I believe give me more knowledge and valuable tools that helped me discern what is true and what is not.

After I moved back to Montana, I met Tom Pascale. He has became a close personal friend of mine. I have known him for 5 years now. Boy doesn't time fly. He is a web designer, photographer, storm chaser and computer wiz. He also repairs and rebuilds computers. He has taught me so much. He is the one I turn to when I have question or need help. If there is a problem with one of my machines that I can't fix, he's my man.

I first stepped into a Drycleaner when I was 17yrs. old. That would be the year 1976 in Dallas Texas. Drycleaning gave me job that I could be respected and the money was good. I spent over 25 years in the cleaners.

However, I can no longer do that work. I was in a auto accident in 1999. I can not spend lengths of time on my feet. I twisted a couple vertebrate in my back. Even a few hours at the mall with my daughter is hard on my back.

I joined the ranks of the unemployed in March 2009 and that change challenged me to grow. God led me to Near Death Survivor Patricia Grabow and laid in my heart to help her with the promotion of her online presence and her books. I built her Google profile, Facebook, Twitter and more. My mother, who I love dearly gave me a the book "Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren while I was with her. I have applied this to my life. Before these changes I had no direction. I didn't know my purpose. I have taken it one step at a time, one day at a time. With God helping me everyday. I pray for understanding. Then I just can't or lack understanding, I throw my hands up and say "Lord I give it to you, I need some help here." I praise him everyday and try to do his will. If I don't know the right thing, I do the next best thing to right.

I grew a large following laid on the mercy of God. With no product per say and only my stories of my recovery and inspiration to carry me.
