Will I ever find that. I could never garner the balls to this.

What agony and pain would people have gone through to get to this state.

Professional endeavors only let people to do somethings that are worth living for.

But, what might be the cause of individuals nowadays for this!

I guess AI will make some of these decisions easier, it will boil down to survival..

As I ponder about the wards driven by identity, past conflicts out of skin color, future likely likely due to idle brains, what might be worth dying for.

As we evolve, the transition has moved from somethings are worth dying for to somethings are worth living for to an eventual somethings are worth killing for!! such dastardly transition that we humans have eventually risen to.

Here is a conversation that I had with one of the latest AI tools:

I uploaded a old archive from nytimes (I have a paid subscription plan). The article is published on 16July1857, and it reads "Mutiny in the Native East Indian Army".

For those who want to know the context, in the year 1857 Indian army soldiers revolted against the "East India Company" and the revolt lasted for nearly two years. This news article refers to the date on which the Mutiny happened.

Coming back to 2023!!

I uploaded the PDF extract of this article onto this latest AI tool and wanted the summary and tone of the article.

Here is the summary of the conversation (The actual conversation is mentioned at the bottom of the blog. I am also attaching the Nytimes article)

1) The AI tool said, it doesn't know the complete article and hence with the limited information given, the tone of the article is mostly neutral, but with little bias

The point of observation is that the AI tool was always siding with what the user wanted it to say. And this is where things get complicated. AI tools instead of enhancing some one's understanding are more and more siding with every one's perspective.

As AI tools become ubiquitous, more and more people might rely on the opinion, rather, get swayed by the opinion and outcome of these tools. And for people who do not have time to analyze the content/factual information, the resonance of AI tools will dramatically increase the differences in the polarized world.

In an increasingly divided and strong opinionated perspectives, it was important to have tools that can speak unbiased. But, looks like the evolution of these tools is only going to enhance and appease both the right and left wings, with the neutral opinions sidelines!!

Back in the day, the nuclear negotiations between India and US weren't coming to the conclusion, primarily because India wanted the original equipment supplier of the nuclear plant to be held liable in case of a mishap, whereas they the OEMs weren't agreeing to.

The argument from them was, if the plant operator doesn't operate the plant correctly, how can they be made liable. Eventually, some agreements were made.

Now, how is this connected to the recent Manipur gruesome incident!!

The remorseful incident in Manipur that occurred a few months ago, but has surfaced recently was triggered by a fake image/video that got circulated. The question is, whenever the culprits are caught, who is to be made liable.

The dread of AI and the ease with which fake images can be created has gone well past the control of any regulatory authority. Even if someone later claims that the image was fake, the damage would have already been done.

The recent episodes of riots in Pakistan, the Manipur incident and many more can be attributed to the inability of the people and the forwarding agents to validate the authenticity of what is being circulated.

Can the source/forwarding person/the original medium to validate the image/medium used to generate the image etc. be made liable in these cases?

This is the eternal debate, the tool is never the problem, but the person using it.

This ain't the first time that someone might have written their few cents about the journalistic standards of famous columnists/newspapers/magazines. Over the years, one has seen that newspapers in general have become biased and have shielded themselves behind the veils of Legal language.

The pretext given by most newspapers/columnists is that, in the increasingly polarized world, it becomes tough to maintain the journalistic standards of remaining unbiased. And yet, we see these stalwarts who quote themselves as standing up for "rights" and sound leftist/centrist as per their convenience and continue to opine strongly against someone that they do not agree with.

I am not educated well enough to pen down my thoughts effectively, nor question the professional etiquette of a person belonging to altogether a different stream, in this case, a journalist.

Since times, newspapers have been regarded as the medium in which certain biases are avoided. But, increasingly we can find newspapers aligned with their TV through which a biased opinion is presented. And even the reputed and traditionally grounded TV channels and newspapers are compelled to take sides. eg: newyork times, WSJ had to shift gears and take sides especially during 2017-2021. On the other side, you have papers who try to appease certain section of the population and continue to spew their opinion and not perspectives.

Today, there was a discussion about a specific article in the newspaper "Toronto Star", in which the author has presented her opinion in quite a discerning tone. I don't want to quote the article. as I do not want further viewership to thar article, as I do not agree with the opinion quoted by the author.

Interestingly, the newspaper quotes that the column is only an opinion by the author, but is at its liberty to quote negative about India. Wonder, what to do in those instances. The newspaper seemingly neither acknowledges nor allows the viewers to share their opinions. While, every article might elicit response in negative/positive manner, we thought that the responsibility of the journalists is to present the news in a way that is more neutral toned than biased.

It reminded me of the journalist Rajdeep Sardesai, who physically confronted someone who has shouting an opinion against him in "Times Square" and had justified his stance. If all that matters nowadays is viewership or appeasement, then why do many of these journalists claim that they stand up for certain rights.

When someone is ready to have a biased opinion, then aren't they free to have them in their own blog/podcast/twitter or various other platforms. Why chose newspapers or their channels which garner viewership from various audiences who might become unduly influenced.

Who has given the first right to a columnist to influence neutral audience through a newspaper medium. And yet some of these journalists claim that freedom of expression is stifled. Conflicting thoughts. Freedom of opinion works well, when the dias is allowed for all.

In this case, there was an article about a movie shot about a segment of population in the region of Kashmir and has shown a perspective, that many weren't aware. Now, the author opines that the movie is wrong and that Govt. of India is at wrong by encouraging the movie.

The author is free to express her opinion. But, coming from a journalist background, is the author justified to comment in a newspaper about this movie as a general stand of the community. It is interesting that the author wants to be addressed/honored for her stance in favor of freedom of expression, and yet choses to not have comments and also not have the viewers allow their opinion to be displayed or shown.

So, journalists can stake claim on anything and have their intellectual masturbation churn their emotions, but aren't ready to address the comments. Don't many of these journalists realize that, the moment they decide to take sides in an article, there are going to be contrary opinions and they are also responsible to check the facts.

Of late, I've started being careful with what I write in public domain and yet the journalist chose to be lax with her opinion. The day, many of these so called intellectuals think that they have a better understanding of a scenario than the ones affected, their ethos have already gone for a toss and aren't worthy being journalists anymore!!

Kids bear the brunt of parents

I yelled at my daughter and realized immediately that I shouldn't have.

She meets one of these friends of hers, who keeps belittling. I suggest her to avoid, but due to the absence of any other friends, she continues to seek this friend's attention and her friend continues to ignore her.

But my daughter tries tooth and nail to appear in the good books of this friend. This frustrates me, where I can see right in-front of my eyes that my daughter is being taken advantage of.

And, I am unable to say No to this friend of mine. And due to this whenever my daughter tries to do things against her own wishes to woo this friend, I get frustrated and yell at her.

I keep telling her to speak and befriend and play to her liking, but somewhere am at a loss.

Each time they mingle, am unable to handle this. And, my wife takes this as one of the reasons that we should have second kid. Now, how do I tell that, this alone cannot be the reason for a second kid.

Not that, my competence to have kids is at its pinnacles :)

All things combined, I end up not showing the best feature of mine as a father and end up showcasing the monster inside me.

Alas, another loss and the worst part, I do not even attempt any face saving because after all they are fragile kids, who bear the brunt of parents.

This is something, that I remember from my friend, Abhinav Patwa. A tradition in Jainism, which insists that on a specific day each year, you reach out to the people around you and apologize..

Such a well mannered tradition and respect to the parents who communicated this to their child and who in turn made attempts to nurture it further. I've used it some times, but as a ritual but never with an intention, as needed.

Most of say sorry and use the word "sorry" so many times for the heck of it. But, how many times do we actually mean it.

Recently, one of my friends reached out to me and said it to me no less terms about some the actions that he committed earlier. I was at a loss to respond because I never had the balls to say it, that too directly to a person.

May be it is high time that I started to say it back, because the memories keep haunting me.

I acted terribly many a times, and continue to do so.

First and foremost, I am remorseful of how I treated my parents, for, I never stood up to them. I felt compelled to hear them out, but looks like there are more incidents where they are aggrieved than relieved at my behavior. Will they read this article, probably never. Then, what it the purpose of writing this. The same, as is the case with most articles of mine. No one reads, but it is for me to pour out.

Secondly, to my wife that she feels so sad most times with me that I've disappointed her with my behavior. While, just like most husbands even I express my despair and sorries to my better half I believe there is a great level of improvement required.

What is it that you have to say and why do you call me?

This is what my school friend told me, when I had called him to ask about his whereabouts.

His expression startled me.

While I was lurking to speak and connect with old friends, here is a dear friend of mine who said that since you are no longer staying at the same place why should you even bother calling.

At first, I thought he was angst at the fact that we werent speaking too frequently. But later, I realized that he indeed didn't feel like talking at all.

It felt very belittling that having taken out time to reach out to him multiple times, he felt as if I was breaching into his space.

We would spend hours talking about shit, back in the day and now his words and rather the lack of expressions felt troublesome that all those I had probably wanted to talk to him felt shy of coming out of my mouth.

One may feel, what the heck, why is he so troubled by one amongst many friends not talking.

He hadn't picked my calls nor have responded to my messages for quite some time and hence I was following up with his life to just check if he was indeed doing fine. And after eons, when he finally did call me, it was an expression of anger than the willingness to speak.

He was quite non chalant in quoting that, if there was anything worrisome and rather worth talking to me, h'd have called.

Made sense. But did it really boil down to this that folks across geographies have to find a strong enough reason to talk to dear friends.

I didn't have the audacity to tell him about my wanting to talk to him, but I shut myself as the virtual handshake had no response from the other end.

While all these days I continued to have the concern of his long absence, his sudden jolt caught me offgaurd. It was one of those chess moves that we used to play where you are caught unawares. The only difference is that in the chess game, I'd say I wish I anticipated that move. But here I'd never wish his behavior from him.

As I turn 39, my attempt to reach out to my friends felt futile. Most of us believe we are men enough to take things head-on at this age.

As I squandered my life infront of my eyes, this response from a dear friend was a death knell to a year gone by!!

I am moved, but alas!! my ass!!

I intend to be moved and am easily moved. But, unfortunately I am moved too many times and too frequently

Even if I am moved, the longevity of the same is so limited similar to that of a child that its implication is limited either on the motive or on the likely impact.

Even before I could prioritize the movement, my laziness take-over and I end up procrastinating.

Needless to say, intentions whether good or bad wouldn't matter unless they turn into actions.

That said, if one has good intentions, whether now or later (Later may be from your nth generations) they would eventually fructify.

My blog is reminiscent of my behaviour that there are these points of brightness followed by prolonged lull and then a shimmer. It is like this spark, which is probably there somewhere, but no one knows whether it will blast or will die without even a puff

If only, my mental state allows me to extend my arms well below my waist!!

I cry of Oppression and injustice

I had the option to say "Yes" or "No", whereas she was waiting and hoping for my positive affirmation, and here I cry about oppression.

I decided that we won't talk between engagement and wedding and she obliged and I cry about oppression.

I didn't extend the cards to anyone from her side for the reception, and I cry about oppression.

I decided that we will remain in the home town, albeit with my own reasons, and now I cry about oppression.

I named our daughter and she didn't say much, and now I cry about oppression.

Later, wheneverI go through my ambiguities, she didn't flinch and now I cry about oppression.

We plan for vacations and I decide to cancel it with some reasons and she doesn't complain a lot and now I cry about oppression.

There are things that matter, and have I troubled her enough on those points that I can no longer complain.

Wish she reads it and doesn't, for I've given enough reasons to not trust me for life!

For all those, wondering about the context of this.. guess its the typical relation between husband and wife in the Indian community.

I still believe that I have enough reasons to crib, but the above are some of the ones that should shut the discussion, may be in her favour.

Harley Davidson and Hayabusa.. When I was growing up, these were the two bikes that I knew were of different league.

But, now I know that Hayabusa is on a return journey, that Harley hasn't even thought of.

As, the count down towards December 6th 2020 approaches, world awaits to see the first ever material ever captured from an Asteroid and brought back to earth.

There is a sudden clamor for activity of capturing resources from extra terrestrial and bringing it back to Earth.

Hayabusa is picking samples from an asteroid.. there are string of activities including this week lunar space probe by China. Also, the Artemis program which is encouraging participants from various countries to bring back lunar samples to Earth and hand them over to NASA.

And today Russia had formally even complained to UN that NASA is on a journey on commercializing lunar space without the consent of all the nations.

The commercial route towards extra terrestrial space is now inevitable especially with the competition between US and China. Rest of the countries are definitely catching up.

It would be definitely work exploring options for businesses and individuals in the space commercial industry as the next big market is transacting to and from a body other than earth!!

I look forward to the day to look up to earth!!

Update on 8th December.. Thought you may be interested to know.. They've found the sample that returned from hayabusa-2. After an overnight search. Quite an interesting search indeed similar to some of the movies.

I am back... Voyager 2

Today the deep space network tested their ability to successfully communicate with Voyager 2.

Good god!! Can you believe that signal is sent to Voyager 2, which is 20 bn kms away.

The time for signal to travel one way is 17 hrs!!

And the antenna that sent this signal is 47 years old!!

For all the turbulences happening, I am at awe at the human kind's ingenuity and the ability to go well beyond.. 20 bn kms is indeed well beyond.

Thanks to NASA to having dreamt and to have given the spirit to a huge generation of people.

Hopefully this spirit will continue to drive more vision to push oneself and acheive the unimaginable.

Congrats NASA and long live Voyager.

The name may not mean a lot to most of us.

But on October 13th, a few countries came together including US, Canada, UK, Australia, UAE, Luxembourg, Italy, Japan and signed a treaty for co-operation for space exploration especially on all the planets and other spatial bodies.

While everyone may read about it on NASA’s website, the other major space exploring nations including Russia, France, China and India aren’t parties to this. May be, countries will tag along.

The timing of the treaty is interesting considering the fact that lot of rovers and human exploration missions are planned to Mars, Saturn’s satellite and may be to Venus including the potential mining option on an asteroid.

Russia is the only country probably to have sent any rovers to Venus and China is aggressive about its plans to Koon and Mars and may in fact be miles ahead. Wondering if they aren’t party to treaties like these, how will the collaboration work.

I had a few curious and childish questions, if you may, about the space exploration.

A) the treaty says that it’s valid for civil exploration and what if the activities are being done by private parties for commercial use

B) how does the arbitration work, if there were to be a conflict

C) Will people be free to pursue and setup religious places on these planets

D) What will be the standard unit of measurement ie MKS vs FPS

Guess, lot of folks have thought through all these and have made wise decisions. I hope this treaty helps increased collaboration and hope this doesn’t become a battle of Apple vs Android

Advantage Trump

May the president and his wife of US recover from the COVID virus that he got affected. My sincere wishes and prayers that he recovers.

But, as we stand today.. the impact of COVID is likely going to be in favour of Trump in more scenarios.

1) In the unfortunate event that the virus makes him and his wife a casualty, which would be very very unfortunate and not at all a situation that anyone wants, but as a worst case scenario if that were to happen.. Trump wouldnt be around to care about the results.. Hence it’s in his favour!!

2) If he recovers and Mrs Trump is affected, Trump will come back with full force and avenge and it would be very tough for Biden to match him.

3) If both recover.. again the impact depends on the time he recovers.. if it’s too late, then he can always take that an excuse and appear as a good fighter

Parijatapaharanam (Read as p-aa-r-e-j-aa-t-aa-pa-ha-ra-na-m) is a verse written in Telugu by Nandi Timmana (Wiki)

It is a telugu word broken down into two (Parijata + apaharanam). Parijata is a flower, an in colloquial language is synonymous to Jasmine. The word 'apaharanam" means Kidnap. Hence, the word "Parijatapaharanam" means the "kidnap of Jasmine"

But, the parjatam that I am referring to here is SP Balasubrahmaniam garu.

One may recollect one of his early hits .. (Ee divilo virisina parijatamo), a beautiful composition written by Late Sri Dr. C. Narayana Reddy garu and sung by none other than SPB.

Although, the song refers to the girl.. here I would like to refer to the beauty, voice of SPB and his personality.

The divine beauty of SPB's voice is kidnapped by the divine itself.

Wish, we have a Krishna who can fight the angels to bring back the voice and the personality of SPB, in other fashion, which will enthrall us and get the best out of us.

I just don't have songs or words to express my emotion against the demise of Sri SP Balasubrahmaniam garu. The reason being, not because I cannot express, but all those expressions and emotions have already been sung by him.

He is the reason for many of the festivals and celebrations.. (Sri Rama Navami)

He expressed all our feelings (Umpteen songs on Love, hate, ecstasy)..

Right now though the expression that I have is of Distress, and I bet he also has songs about that..

So, how do I express. It ain't worth saying things about some one using his songs.. Alas!!

Yesterday, I read this story to my daughter

What else can I say. Wanted to reminisce lot of things.

One thing is that I should start pouring my thoughts again. I decided that, this one activity which was my way of narration, although a bit dated, still made me feel good.

This year has been erratic in many forms. For many of us, the new norm of the day is still unclear and a long way to make do.

I, on the other hand, should say am blessed at the relatively less turbulence. Just a day ago, she completed he day care and would be transitioning into School from the coming week. From where I stand, her smile and energy are the biggest take away.

A cliched one, but every small achievement of hers is quite a big deal for me.

At 38, I have my daughter of 4 to take care of. I believe, I do not have the wherewithal to have another baby, the conversation of which am expecting will lead to unchartered territories.

For, so many years I've lead a life of consumption and my contribution has been minimal. In my daughter, I find that hope. Her spirit and enthusiasm keep me encouraged and invested.

As I age, with big acheivements coming hard by, it helps reminiscing the small victories. Yet, all of us continue to not revel in those

At 7, I was overjoyed when I learnt my bicycle and continue to still remember

At 13, when I first wrote something on the computer screen, I remember the blips and the prompts on the black and white screen and the joy of it

At 15, first ever solo scooter ride on a Scooty lent by my school mate.

Midway, I remember the handshakes and the accidental brush and the hormonal interjections.

At 20, my first pay slip and the walkman I bought to my father and the pani puri, I ate along with a friend of mine.

First bike, first flight, First laptop, first car, first home.. infact, at around 30, was the first time that I had a bed and room for myself..

The women in my life, my wedding.. the transition, my daughter, the travel etc.

And, my friends with whom I've more or less managed to remain in contact.. at times, I wonder if I trouble them and if my presence adds any value to their values. Safed Kurta!!

They are still probably holding on to me..

For the past few years, I guess I've had a tryst with some decent growth, but the joy from accomplishments of the recent past has remain underwhelming compared to the ones in the bygone era, although they were smaller in nature in both quality and quantity.

I forgot.. the first few comments on my blog :).

My guilt about the acts in my life, for now, will remain with me. I cannot say that I do not have any regrets, but I look forward to the tryst with those in my life now and hope they will take me well past the dark hair, grey hair or no hair!

Relationships!!.. Extra during COVID-19

Written in April'2020, just at the start of COVID lock down and published in Sep'2020. Just a thought, and has no conclusion too!

Its been almost a month of lockdown due to COVID-19 in most countries (Sorry, but yes.. I had to use the word "COVID-19" here as well... but with all due respect and rest assured this isnt about the virus.. so you may read further!!).

I had this curious question about whats happening with relationships during this COVID-19. With very little choice or options available, how are couples/children coping up?

Living in a small Condo in Toronto, gives us enough incentive to not fight during this lockdown as we have no where to go :).. But, I bet we are trying hard enough to sustain it and so far we've survived the lockdown successfully!!.. please dont jinx it

But, to think of it there are so many people who may not be having such a rosy time. It must be hard for people to sustain the physical aspect of the affairs that they were trying to keep under closed wraps. Wonder whats happening with all those professionals involved in the oldest profession. For all those women, how are they earning, and how would they be able to offer their services. Not every one may be able to extend their services through online mode and so is their suffering being ignored. I bet there are a few million women dependent on this profession and is there any service for them?

Suddenly the incognito modes and the online bots and chats might be coming to rescue. But that said, has there been a real uptick in these sites or have people started realizing and appreciating each other more.

In a recent interview by the (in)famous Ashley Madison website, they mentioned the following.. that we provide a release valve for a few weeks for some!! Quite an interesting perspective. They have seen highest up surge in the addition to their memberships in the recent times. Is it an indicative of the overall trend?

Especially, we in India, traditionally have not been enough appreciative of the jobs being done at home. With no choice now, people might start acknowledging the efforts of people working at home, which might become norm of the day.

Excitation, longing and bonding

Dedicated to all those dying for excitement and lurking around for ways to address it:

I met a guy couple of weeks ago. Young and excited about life, on the run.. not necessarily to achieve a goal, but just restless.. .reminded me of one of my ex-colleagues in Accenture.

When we sat and spoke I realized how he so much longed being closer to a guru, ,which was quite startling to me, for .. the guru that he was referring to, was some one that I didn't keep in highest esteem but did respect him..

I was trying to see, what was he craving for and that got him attracted to the guru in the first place..

Why should I Care.. .but his passion towards some person made me intrigued about the guru - sishya relationship… it was more like radha and gopal, it reminded me of this song from Baiju -Baawra, an old hindi movie.

When I narrated the song to him, I could actually see this young chap in his 20s getting emotional about the intensity of the song. I was floored at some one with such demanour getting so attached.

Who is more interested.. the guru trying to teach and achieve salvation through the sishya.. Now that I think of it, guru needs sishya rather than the other way round .. because, end of the day the sishya is an instrument for the guru to attain his salvation..

and for the sishya, it is the wisdom and the ability to connect beyond ..

It's been a while that I encountered someone with such longing for a guru and then take great pains to meet him even if it affects career..

What made him crave for such longing... Is it the knowledge or the response to his questions?

I wanted to be a hollow man and see his expressions when he is going to meet the guru..

If I look back and hypothesize, which is the only thing that I do .. only an excited electron would long for some ionization and will be ready...

Now, where does the excitation come from... it has to be an external force.. and for us humans.. in most cases it is knowledge/love/emotion or some other kind which excites us ..

May be a lovely book, a beautiful lady, a guru, your child, wife.. some one will excite you enough to long for them more ..

This guy wasn't agnostic about his being and yet trying very much to be bonded with his true inspiration..

Guess, only folks like them who have a desire will meet their goals..

Living on the Edge vs Living by the Moment

Peace!!! .. isn't possible with trembling hands
If, one bursts and has no means to let go, how does one deal with it.

I used to believe I am a peace loving guy. So, is a satan. He too wants peace, but at the cost of allegiance from every one surrounding him.

I simply am not able to handle the fact that the people who matter to me aren't impressed by me. Simple expectation of keeping them happy and in return be given a lot more.

I am getting lot of comforts from the people that I am living with, but there is an element of living on the edge rather than living by the moment.

I am realizing by the day the fallacies inside me, make me a habitual offender. henceforthe, insecure about how to overcome them.

Similar to how a positive acknowledgement beckons a bright future for kids and negative comments impede their overall growth, grown ups also (Let me atleast believe that!!) require effective support in their activities in the form of a positive reciprocation.

The mechanism or the delivery of this acknowledgement can differ, but ultimately it is this belief that the other person is happier at my performance or that it will bring them a smile makes every man push himself, even if it means compromising on his/her own well being.

Every parent does it, and I believe every good husband/father/brother also does the same and ofcourse the same applies to their counterparts.

I am unable to deal with this negative criticism for a petty act, and am becoming very defensive in dealing with that. Can't open up or break down completely, because I know the efforts by the other person, but I am unable to give myself enough excuses either ways.

Just deal with it. Tsk. Unable to.

Today I almost broke my knuckles by hitting the wall hard (As if I've the strength). It was a show of desperation during an argument, as I wasn't sure how to deal with it.

It continues to give me headache and depresses me further. And the element of fear and insecurity add to my woes. What is suppose to be my strength continues to hamper my aspirations.

Even my title starts with an uneasiness.. I wish I overcome a lot of things. Unfortunately, since I don't open up as much, I will have to continue to push myself.

And, my back pain, has been a cause of continuous downfall. Iam on the verge of complete oblivion. Waiting to be rescued by my ownself or the ones for whom I matter.

No sympathies for the destitute.

MAD

Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD). I am sure most of you have come across this acronym and are well aware of it.

Example: North Korea's rhetoric, Pakistan's stance on Nuclear, ISIS are all MAD because they know that they will perish, but will try and ensure maximum damage before their eventual annihilation.

But I don't think they alone are MAD. As a society and as a race we've become MAD.

a) We know, we do climate change, which is happening due to our increased greed and need to flourish, not just survive. Yet, we ignore it.

b) We are trying to win over each other, not by traits and emotions but my overpowering each other.

and many more like this..

We, as a race are trying to become supreme not on another race, but on individuals of our own race and thereby are willing to compromise on so many things that the eventual path is the mutually assured destruction.

In military training, they say the nation comes first, and then the army, and then the unit, and then the team and then the individual.

But, the we are all working in the reverse direction .. Individual first and then the family and then the neighborhood and then the society and then the country and then who cares..

This is what is also leading to our exploration of other planets, deeper oceans and also the ever expanding consumerism.

Am I a part of it. Definitely Yes, am I willing to take a step back. I was telling my friend, I am stepping back where I know I cannot win and I am pushing harder where I know I can win.

I am a bigger evil amongst the lot, and yet, the realization is not yielding any results.

Everyone of us wants more, because my peers had it or are planning to have it. I want to stand out and hence the drive to excel my peers. Most of us, including thyself is not willing to take a step back and question, do I really need it. Even if some one questions, he/she is eventually again coming back to the same plethora.

What am I trying to acheive is not in correlation with what is needed..

And some one from a trillion feet view and from nth dimension would be looking at me and wondering, why is he even concerned, how things are running... eventually his destiny is in my control...Why does he worry so much, when the eventuality and the path are also controlled..

I am unable to accept that this MADness is also MADE up.

Should I be anxious?? Then I am far from any realization and am still mired!!

Human to a beast

That's the transformation that I've seen in myself over the past three years. May be, it did start happening earlier, but I started seeing it only recently.
Every time I got an opportunity to go back, I chose the beastly nature.
Here on, I am officially a beast from here on and will remain so.
I used to be liked, but am hated. I shout, I get irritated, and respond with such vengeance that I never realized I had it in me.
Today, I do.
The beast should not have relationships or the fruits from it.
I didn't know when did I become so violent in nature and so untamed. May be its the cholesterol, BP, and the associated distresses. I am still unwilling to accept the true nature of mine. I better accept it now, before I make some one else a victim of this.
