Horlicks Immunity Indiblogger Meet 2016

2016-05-09T01:47:00.001-07:00

Horlicks Immunity Indiblogger meet was held at Vivanta Taj ,Bangalore on 8th May 2016. The main subject on which the blogger meet was based is of Immunity and implications on growth in children. This meet was headed by celebrity guest Jim castle who gave us more insight on the role of micro nutrients in Immunity. It was clear from her presentation that today's children lack a healthy diet and often tend to incline towards junk food like donuts rather than a healthy diet. We could also see the her comparison of nutrition level between US and India and also the food habits between these two nations. It was followed by other two sessions and presentation on nutrition 101.There was the fact presented that around 82% has poor nutrition here. Followed by Q and A session where many bloggers asked questions to panelists. I could recall one of the question was on steps taken by Horlicks to improve nutrition awareness in rural areas which was already implemented by Horlicks team. I agree to one of the blogger who shared her experience in general saying that Horlicks was on top list compared to coffee tea and one would feel happy if Horlicks was served when we visit neighbours/friends house over coffee/tea.

This was followed by A Quiz on Horlicks Immunity event for a group of around 10 teams which had 10 questions to answer. We could not do much good in Quiz as most of our answers were quite close. The official Twitter handle for this event was #immunity4growth.

Finally to end on a good note , happy to see all the bloggers from Bangalore who attended this meet .It was another memorable event by Indiblogger team and thanks to the Indiblogger team and hope to see many such events in future.

A healthy and balanced diet

2015-07-10T01:07:00.001-07:00

This is a generation where people believe in more advertisement than words of mouth. There are plenty of channels which show fast ways of getting slimmer in short span of time. They make people believe with videos showing before and after images and plenty of people case stories. There is a saying 'seeing is believing' that holds good in these cases. There are also plenty of offers to get slim where they offer many options like try before you buy. People not only think about the side effects these products have on their life but also invest in huge sum thinking that results can been seen fast. There are no such short cuts in life which can be so spontaneous and results can be seen in days or hours. The changes to our body is natural phenomenon and these so called crash diet will not even make any impact on the body or health in a short span of time.

There is no end to what a person wants. Those who are fat needs to be slim and the one who is slim needs to gain weight. These are ok if all are following traditional way of exercise or yoga. But the results are not immediate as the process takes lots of effort and over a gradual period of time. This is not known to all and always fall a prey to modern day advertisements.Every day jogging or running along with healthy diet is very necessary.

Coming to healthy diet there are plenty of products available in market. Some continue to be money saver and some are expensive. One such product that striked me is Dabur honey diet. This is unique because of the use of honey for a healthy balanced diet.Honey is required to body in small quantity everyday. It has lot of nutritional values that is needed for a healthy body and plays a vital role in growth and has lot of medicinal properties .Major advantage of using honey is that it fights infection. There are few more benefits of honey in terms of weight management. Honey is good for skin and keeps it healthy. There is a mention of honey in several age old books and references. It was always told to us by our parents that take one spoon of honey in milk every day.

Feel fit feel young is the mantra of Dabur honey diet.Keeping a balanced diet is very essential for work life balance. The current generation is workaholic and do not get much time to think more on health. In that way taking a good diet is need of the hour.Dabur honey is preferred everywhere and can be trusted for the product quality. For more information please do visit Honey Diet .

Skin care with VICCO Turmeric

2015-06-13T02:34:00.001-07:00

Its been over a decade since we are using turmeric cream from Vicco.I still remember the advertisements of Vicco brand. The phrase 'Vicco Turmeric Ayurvedic Cream' song can never be forgotten.I still remember the advertisements with the above song when ever we used to watch serials or movies in DD national channel. That was the olden days when i heard about this cream .

It was my mother who gave me this cream to try out .That were the olden and golden days of my life.I used to tell my mother about my oily skin and the first cream that my mother would ask me to buy was vicco turmeric Ayurvedic cream. That time i was curious to know why she was telling us to use turmeric cream instead of so many other brands at that time.It was her who told me about the use of turmeric on skin.Turmeric has very age old history when it comes to applying on the skin and the benefits of using turmeric creams reduces the pimples and blackheads on skin. The only thing that strikes me now when it comes to turmeric creams is none other that Vicco Turmeric Ayurvedic Cream .The new Foam based cream is latest available cream in the market. From my past experience it would love to recommend to use this cream to all my readers.

Coming to natural and simple skin care tips: We often see people with fair skin and always dream or wish that we should always look fair like him/her,but never think that we can also come a bit closer to them if we follow regular routine of washing the face with water 2 times a day and then use small quantity of turmeric cream daily . If not daily then at least thrice a week. Some people think that going out in sun has some damage on skin but this is not true.Since sun rays are natural form of light, going out in sun by applying turmeric cream like vicco will not have any effects on skin.

People should also look in to the amount of research spent by Vicco on the famous turmeric cream . I am sure that alteast 8o percent of people are aware of this turmeric cream from Vicco. If asked then i would say that i am aware of this product since 20 years.Looking at years of experience it is a recommended product that anyone would love to buy.I am not just writing it for sake of writing this blog post but since i am using the vicco turmeric cream from past 20 years i would no doubt like to try the new Foam based cream from vicco.

There are many types of happiness - one which lasts long and the other which is of short duration. These sort of happiness for short time is most effective . #Together on running Track

2015-03-14T13:45:00.000-07:00

It all started with a preparation for one of the important competition in life.It was a meet which could not be forgotten at all. This was all about Athletics meet during school days.We were trained for almost two months to get ready for the meet.I was very eager to attend this particular competition as it was my first where i had to travel long distance to run for this particular event.Weeks went on and then came the final day of the event. Before entering the ground i took few minutes of time to remember all those people who played very important role in my preparation to this final event.I was very nervous seeing many athletes getting ready for the event.Since i was prepared for any touch challenge i had the belief that i would easily reach my goal of qualifying in initial rounds of the competition.I was aiming one milestone at a time and not thinking too much on winning the medal. At that time the event which i was well adjusted to was the long distance running .My Friends were sprinters who would run 100 meter events.Even though our track were different but still we were helping each other either by motivating or cheering each other.

During my preliminary rounds my friends cheered me which made my task little more easier and i was able to perform better than my earlier timings for middle distance running.I easily qualified for the final round .I did not find much difficulty in winning the final as i had full encouragement from my friends who backed my potential right from the start of the event.I was missing my trainer badly. Even my friends were missing him.In his absence we had to manage everything.

After winning my event i was very happy that all my efforts did not go in vain . I was happy that i could do my timings better that my previous best.I was very relaxed and was supporting and cheering my fellow short distance runners.

There was a very unusual situation with one of my friend. He was injured while preparing for the event. That event was 4x100 meters relay.Since he was injured we had no other option that to quit the relay event. The condition of one of the runner in team was very bad that we could not ask him to run with the injury. I was not part of the relay team since i was long distance runner. It happened all of a sudden that one of my friend asked me whether i could run on his behalf and complete the event of 4x100 Relay.I was not expecting this call all of a sudden. That made me to think a lot since i was not at all trained to run short distance. It was in my mind that if i could not do well then it would mean that we would lose the event .

Relay is a team event where winning will depend on all team members equally. At one stage i was thinking not to accept this difficult challenge which was not expected at all .But i was feeling sad for other three members who had practiced very hard till this day.All my friends requested me to take this challenge. They told me that if i believe in myself and my abilities then we would clear this hurdle of relay.I agreed with bit of hesitation. I had never been in such a situation earlier. It was my new test.

I was running the third leg of the relay 4x100 .The result of this event was unexpected. We came first in the team event.I could not believe that i too contributed in team's success. This was most memorable day in my life.If you believe in yourself then anything can be achieved in life, Yes, motivation from friends always helps to succeed further in life. This post is written for housing.com , please follow the link https://housing.com/

#StartANewLife - study and sports together

2015-03-10T01:29:00.002-07:00

A balance in life with studies and sports simultaneously. There has been a lot of debate around doing the things together in life . Some say that at once one can concentrate either on sports or academics. Both can't go hand in hand when you want to top the class with good marks.Even I was in agreement with the fact that both can't be achieved simultaneously. My parents was very supportive in me taking up sports and studies together during school days.I made a bold decision to take up both at a time in life.At first I was not serious about sports. It was just to miss class or two when there were athletic events during school days. But I was very serious in studies.

Sports was just a part and not everything at initial days. One coach changed the complete picture in my life making me to take sports seriously. He was very strict coach who was not entertaining any excuse or reason for not attending practice. I still remember many instance where we were asked to continue practice even in heavy rains while others were looking at us running in rain.Another instance I would recall where our coacg had to keave tge session due to work and told us to continue the practice giving us some list of things which had to be repeated. But we did only half and sat at one place chatting with team members.we were not at all aware that our coach was observing us from pavilion. He came to us and asked us whether we all completed our tasks to which we all said yes. He was very angry and told that he was observing us while we were chatting and enjoying. As a punishment he told us run entire ground for 40 minutes. That is where we realised the importance of practice and its outcome. I was improving my timings day by day under the guidance of my coach.Sports was not at all effecting my studies but infact helping me a lot to concentrate. Infact I would say it had eased the tension during exams.I even topped during exams even after tight practice schedule and all.

My coach was giving my example to other parents who were not willing to put thier kids or hesitant parents who thought their kids might not do well in studies .They thought it was waste of time joining sports. But my own example is enough to say that it is possible to do multi-task but that determination should exists within ones own self.No one can force others to take up studies or sports.

That was one bold decision I took which made to feel a new life. Those old memories are still fresh in my life.

Look Up Stories - story of optimism

2015-03-04T12:09:00.002-08:00

This is a story about 10 years ago.One small new born puppy who lost the way completely was roaming around our new house which had very huge space at the entrance. We all had noticed this pup many times. One fine day it somehow entered our house arena just following other stray dogs.It was so pretty that we felt like feeding it with some food available at home.Once we fed the dog , it was not all leaving our place and was always trying to enter the house as when it got opportunity. At first most of my family members were afraid of this dog whether it might bite or something like that.Slowly everyone at home started getting adjusted to the new comer in our family. It was like we had never asked for and everything was unexpected. We started calling the dog by name 'Jim'.It was so energetic that i had never seen that dog sitting quite in one place.Always roaming around and trying to enter the house either by front door or back door.

Jim's way of greeting people was really unique and one of a kind.It used to circle 360 degrees around the leg of any new person who enters our premises. Then followed sliding both legs with swinging tale behind anyone.I was very happy seeing it do the same every time i came home tired from college. It was making me relax everyday seeing the energy this cute dog had.

It was listening to our words carefully and the moment you call the name 'Jim' we could see the dog immediate next to us.we were exited to see the dog respond to us just by calling its name.I had even tried testing this by calling with other names which it dint even respond to.We all felt very happy seeing it grow along with us.Jim always followed my mom wherever she went .

The quick learning of this dog inspired me a lot.It was very easy to teach this dog without doing anything twice. One example i would like to share here, once it entered the house and started peeing . I ran towards it and took the dog outside the house.one fine day the door was locked and dog was inside with us.It was always looking at me and then at door knob couple of times.I could not understand why was it doing it repeatedly. Then i opened the door and could see that it immediately ran outside and started peeing outside. This made me to think that even pet dog can also understand humans better. There are many such instances still makes me feel out of the world.

Jim dog is no more but still its memories are always with us and gives a smile on our face whenever we remember olden days.

This was a story about unknown happiness which was not expected at all . To conclude one always say that 'Expect the unexpected'

The Little Litter Littest Litterbug - The Great Indian Litter Bug

2015-01-21T11:58:00.000-08:00

The Great Indian Litter Bug starts with general talk about keep city clean campaign . you are advised not to throw waste on roads , public places , garden or for that matter any places.we hear that among monkeys that if one monkey starts doing some tricks the other would follow the same. This holds very true for our great Indian litterbug . litter A starts throwing waste in public and talks to litter B saying "I dont know why these people throw waste in public places, cant they throw the same in dustbin?you cannot change these people".Litter B follows the footsteps of litter A , throws few more waste like wrapper and reply to litter A saying " Yes what you say is true , I cannot understand why people do throw as roads are dustbin.Cant they read the advertisement stating DO NOT LITTER". After a couple of minutes Litter C passes that way eating banana and after he completes eating throws the skin and leaves that place. He thinks internally in his mind saying "Why are we not keeping the city clean?only god should come and save all " .Seeing all litter masters A,B and C what D does the same which we can refer here as Blame game. When the cycle completes until Z is reached , that is the litter Z passes by the same location does the same. But this time it would be huge litter as one could see the effect of alphabets. One could say how the alphabets form sentences similarly the The Little Litter Littest becomes biggest and greatest Indian Litterbug.Again the same story continues in same order. When Litter A comes to the same spot where he started all this , He and his litter friend B would be shocked to see the dump of garbage grown like a mountain . They would talk to each other again but this time in angry mood.A starts telling to B saying "See this how people keep the city clean , How much ever you tell to these people they would not listen at all "

Litter A-Z is combined to form The Great Indian Litter Bug . This example holds good for monkey to monkey trick.I think its better to put a sign board something like "PLEASE LITTER HERE" so that at least all will be aware that they have something to throw at that place rather than throwing wherever one likes Or something like a large area where one can say that 'Please throw until this area' so that the area after that place would be clean.

This reminds me of break the rules kind of thing where i will do what i am not supposed to do. This post is written for Indiblogger for an initiative by times of India http://greatindian.timesofindia.com/.

Pimple - sign of worry on face

2015-01-17T00:36:00.000-08:00

Face and mirror have long relation , can be said something like cant live without each other. Funny but true. Gone are the days when ancient people used to see the reflection of water which was acting as a mirror in olden age.Things have changed now . Face is everything and facial expression tells everything .The issue seems to be common to all when a small scratch or cut on face tells everything.Pimple is one such problem that has to be addressed in some way or other and could be seen among young people mostly teens. How it happens- mostly due to dirt or dust or oil which is not relevant to us as of now .

It all starts with a small pimple and we tend to focus more on that rather than other important things in life. Even though it seems like a small problem but it becomes everything when it is related to facial look. The first thing that strikes our mind is to ask mother.I still remember asking my mother as to what needs to be done to get rid of pimples. The answer would be wash your face two times a day with soap or apply some local prepared magic pimple vanish made by mother. At that time one would not think of face wash until there is advertisement seen on television or any other social media.Common tendency would be to wait for local remedy that has something to do with neem , if that does not work then we will start doing research or development on finding the solution on internet day in and day out , sometimes leaving food , sometimes sleepless and only focus on getting rid of pimples by even spending more money every time. But one question needs to asked every time " Are we going the right way or do we need to consult the skin specialist?" . The doctor would be the last option if nothing works out.

Another common issue in day to day life is more to do with looks.we tend to see mirror again and again to check if pimple has vanished or not , if not give a sad smile to mirror. It also has impact on your self confidence sometimes. Most common questions that rings bell in minds starts with "How will others look at me?,Will people tend to move away from me because of pimple?,Will other notice me?,will i be able to get rid of this problem?", these questions keeps multiplying rather than getting answers to all.

Face wash would be ideal , why not give a try to Garnier Pure Active Neem. This post is written for indiblogger . For more information please visit bit.ly/GPABlogLinkIndiBloggerActivity and bit.ly/GarnierPureActiveNeemWebsite.

Happy Home is always equal to Healthy Child

2014-10-19T12:42:00.004-07:00

Happy Home is always equal to Healthy Child .

Happy home and healthy child goes hand in hand . One good example to illustrate this is railway track . One end is Healthy child and other end can be taken as Happy home . Both are most important for a happy journey or happiness of a family . If each end of a track diverge then there wont be any happiness . Hence a healthy child makes a happy home.

A very known fact is that small kids do not like healthy foods like vegetables , cereals or that matter any home made food by mother. They always like junk foods, chocolates or fried ones which in current generation is more predominant ones.We cant even deny buying them these junk foods. They can even fill stomach with junk for entire day without home food . we have seen most common scene in all house hold where a mother runs behind the kid trying to feed home food whereas the kid refuses to take home food while having a chips packet in hand. These might make mother sad . They keep iterating " why is my kid not eating at all , I am fed up making him/her eat " . we cannot blame kids for that either . kids tend to like more crispy and sweeter things rather that home made nutrition food.

Sometimes we have to figure out any other alternative of solving this problem . Though this is a small problem some time makes it makes people frustrating . Whats next ? How to keep a child healthy ?

one might think of making kid to drink milk by adding their favorite chocolate, strawberry powder or any other means to achieve this . I would call this a alternate way of achieving what is required and most important one .

Second best to this alternate would be to identify any other product available in market which provides required immunity needed to fight against any bacteria or virus . There comes dabur chyawanprash into picture. It has all the necessary ayurvedic ingredients helpful for growth of child. It also increases ability to fight illness 3times . It is a good bargain and a first step to taking your family towards happiness.

When parents are happy knowing that chyawanprash has herbs which strengthen kids immune system and also fight against day to day infections like cough, cold and others, they would not be worried even if their kids take junk food. This is the ideal solution for the problems faced by most of the people.

This is how a healthy child makes a happy home. I still remember by old golden days where my mom used to feed a spoon of chyawanprash everday before i go to sleep. She would always tell me chyawanprash is very good for health. A good old memory which i could recall while writing this post

The great Story of Toothappan and Ignoresh

2013-06-05T10:55:00.001-07:00

Once upon a time there lived two friends names Toothappan and Ignoresh . Both were very good and close friends . Always they were dependent on each other . It was Toothappan who was helping his friend to eat as he was the official teeth of Ignoresh . As time went on Ignoresh was ignoring his good friend and was not paying much attention to his buddy . But his friend was a true friend who would always respect him and stood behind him like a wall . Toothappan was helpless because he had no family or relatives , he would depend on his friend for stay as only place he would get in this entire world was the house of Ignoresh .

Ignoresh had a mother by name Helpmathi who always guided his son not to ignore anything in life and treat everyone equally no matter big or small , good or bad . Ignoresh was not in mood to listen to his mom or his friend . He kept on ignoring his mother's word .

There was one twist in life of Ignoresh . He fell in love with Keeta ( Kitanu ) . He wanted her to stay in him house , but Helpmathi was against it . She kept on giving warning to his son not to fall in the trap of Keeta . But his love was blind , Ignoresh was not in a position to listen to any of the words of Helpmathi or Toothappan .

Keeta was one who kept on playing with lives of many people . Ignoresh was just a puppet in hands of keeta . She entered the house of Ignoresh even after so many warnings from his mother . Helpmathi was helpless in this case . Keeta was slowly trying to bring rivalry between both friends .She was pretending to love both but reality was different. She was playing with lives of both Ignoresh and Toothappan that resulted in huge fight between both good friends . Slowly it turned into enmity .

The fight became so intense that Ignoresh told Toothappan to leave his house for ever and not to see him or his house again in life . What would Toothappan do ? He had no choice but to leave the house of
Ignoresh . Helpmathi stopped his son by telling him not to leave his close friend and keep him forever in his house . But he was so blind in love that he repeatedly ignored the words of his mother . Like his name he was ignoring everything and everyone in life .

Ignoresh decided to marry Keeta ( Kitanu ). But his mother has against this proposal . She already had one girl in mind since the childhood of Ignoresh . Her name was Colgi ( Colgate ) . She was Helpmathi s neighbour . Helpmathi saw her grow from childhood and liked each and every quality of her . She had decided to marry her son with colgi one day .

But poor Ignoresh was hellbent on Keeta . Even after his mom's refusal he went ahead and married keeta . For few months all went good in life of Ignoresh . slowly keeta started showing her true colors . she didnt miss any opportunity to trouble Ignoresh the poor guy .It was very much painful for poor Ignoresh at this moment in life . He was having sleepless nights and there was no one to share his feelings with . Helpmathi was helpless in this case as situation went worse .

One fine day Keeta left Ignoresh and ran away with Germ bhai . There was complete blindness in the life of Ignoresh thereafter . If he had listened to words to his mother and married colgi , these things would nt have happened in life of Ignoresh and his friend Toothappan would have been with him forever !!!!!!

Moral : " Always listen to your Mother and her warnings . Never take things lightly in Life "

Fake vs Original ( Doodh ka Doodh aur Pani ka Pani ) at HP Indiblogger meet

2013-01-22T10:29:00.001-08:00

Original indiblogger meet with Original HP written by Original Blogger

Yay !!!. Another Indiblogger meet at Bangalore and this time its original one by HP . Indiblogger meet was held at Fortune park JP celestial .Let me go for flash back i.e 20 th Day of January 2013 . For First time we could see guitar and song by our own indiblogger team , followed by As usual 30 seconds of fame with a little twist in tale and this time all had to give intro with enacting their favourite characters . when my turn came i was bit shy to act in front of bloggers so i choose to select my favourite cricketer Dravid so that i can have this excuse of not acting . But one thing for sure is that i can bat like Dravid .

It was followed by another interesting exercise where all bloggers we given a card board with QR code which had part of a sentence associated with it . A complete sentence were divided into three parts and each one's card contained one part . we had to form a team of three to make one sentence. It was more like a Puzzle to find . The first five team to complete wins .

HP IPG Category Manager speaks

Category Manger for HP Inkjet Printer Speaks ( Credits : Indiblogger )

His presentation on Originals Vs Fake was very interesting . All product related presentations are usually boring but this one was very informative and presented in Original form . The main importance of this presentation was to know the difference between original and fake products and why one should go for Fake products when original ones last longer . Presentation gave me importance of using original HP products rather than going for Fake ones.

Few Questionaire from presentation

Why people go for fake ones ?

May be cheaper , original ones are little costlier than fake ones .These products are spread in such manner that its difficult to make out the difference between real and fake . Some section of people opt for fake ones even after the knowing its fake , that may be to save few bucks.

Interesting example was given at presentation . If we buy luxury car i,e high end model , do we think to buy low cost petrol or diesel / engine oil knowingly . Definitely not . Similarly if we go for refill of cartridges this will impact on Printers

Impact of using refill cartridges on printer

Refill cartridges has direct impact on Print head of printers . Print head is nothing but the Heart of printer. This part is not easily replaceable rather i would say " Not Possible " . Im my terms the Mother board of PC .

Why go for Original

This question is eye opener for us . Till these days we were using the refilled cartridges for Orignal HP Printer at home. This presentation made to think over it again and go only for original refill . let me explain why go for orignal , answer is Last Longer , Good life time of products and less prone to errors (Oh that was geek term ). meanwhile there was some Percentage fact at presentation which it is really difficult to recall .There were doubts in minds of people as to " why would you go for original refills costing about 800 to 1000+ when inkjet printer itself would cost 1500-1900 rupees .

How to check for Original HP Products

To check the originality of HP products there is a app available for smart phone which reads the QR Code of products and gives us the result OK or NOT OK . For those who wants to check from online - please follow the link http://www.hp.com/go/ok to validate the product .

Give Aways at blogger meet : Giveaways at blogger meet were HP Pen Drives , HP ear phones , Harper colllins books , HP printers ( Lucky ones ) and T-shirts ( Indian by birth and blogger at choice ones ) , High Tea etc

Conclusion

Rather than going for many time Buy , Go for One-time buy and enjoy . we always try to save money going for refilling without knowing the after effects on the heart of printers . Lets take care of our printers health . No to fake and Yes to Original

The cost of printer cartridges have come down to 450 rupees onwards . This cartridges can print upto 600 pages . Isn't it worth buy when you are getting original cartridge at that price . Just a word " Say No To Fakes "

Credits : http://infochatnews.wordpress.com

Finally i could pose for Photograph like this . In simple terms it says " GO For Original HP Ones or else i will shoot you "

At last the inblogger meet was a memorable one . Had wonderful time and fun and hoping to attend many more meets in future . Thanks Indiblogger team , Rennie , HP , Harper collins and indibloggers .

Arranged Love Marriage Vs Love Marriage Vs Arranged Marriage

2012-08-20T10:50:00.000-07:00

Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage ? Answer would be not sure . You never know whats gonna happen in Future when anyone will fire such questions at you . Strange but True for both Arranged and Love Marriage . How about third option Arranged Love Marriage ? This option is something like creamy layer in anyone s life . The perfect phrase to describe this is " Hum Bhi Khush , Tum Bhi Khush aur Sab bhi Khush. The Third option is the combination of both First ( Love ) and Second ( arranged ) type of marriages .

Lets be more creative and apply few Physics concepts in these type of marriages .

Concept 1 : Directly Proportional is dependent on both parties .
Concept 2 : Equals where equality is maintained
Concept 3 : Constant ( K ) is nothing but Balanced move
Concept 4 : Symbol ( * ) is Conditions apply
Concept 5 : Resistance ability to withstand all

These are creative concepts which will be used to explain the nature of all these type of marriages .

Lets go for Love Marriage in dept . Love Marriage is nothing but marriage between two lovers who think that lets get our love converted to marriage and hold each others hand to live future together. In other terms Long Term Bonding . Marriages are made in heaven is common sentence associated with any type of Marriages . But what i feel is yes its made in Heaven but for Love Marriage there is small twist in tale . That is conditions apply ( * ). Conditions are Resistance offered by either of sides that is the Parents side.If both lovers are ready to face the resistance then they can go ahead with this type of marriage

Equation 1 :

Love Marriage is directly proportional to twice the individuals that is both lovers who are going to get married

i.e Love Marriage = 2 x K x Individuals --------------------- (1)

Where K is Proportionality constant that depends on Resistance and various other factors

Now we shall look into Arranged marriage . The marriage becomes arranged when its agreed by all the people in scene , The individual and the their family members . There is no resistance from any sides as long the marriage is handled smooth without any intervention from third party.Majority of people prefer Arranged form of marriage compared to Love Marriage.

Equation 2 :

Arrange Marriage is directly proportional to twice the families , here individuals are also considered but families play a major role

i.e Arranged Marriage = 2 x K x Families ------------------------- (2)

Where K is Proportionality constant that depends on Horoscope , Status , Background checks and various other factors

When we combine both the equations , Equation 3 is formed

Equation 3 :

From (1) and (2) .

Love Marriage + Arranged Marriage = ( 2 x K x Individuals ) +(2 x K x Families)

( Love + Arranged ) Marriage = 2 x K ( Individuals + Families )

Equation 3 says that there is third option and a good option for both sides i.e Arranged Love Marriage . So There lies a last question to be answered by all i.e Arranged ya Love marriage ?

My answer is Equation 3 the Arranged Love Marriage. As i said earlier " Hum Bhi Khush , Tum Bhi Khush aur Sab bhi Khush " This is one of my entry written for Indiblogger Contest " Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage " . Kyra , Sunny and Lakme Sun Expert

2012-05-19T02:07:00.002-07:00

Kyra, unlike other girls is very beauty conscious girl who loves to travel very often . Traveling from one place to another place is her hobby . She is very sporty , fun loving, nature freak and energetic girl .The only thing she hates is Mr Sunny ( The Sunlight Boy ) who always troubles her whenever she is out in sunlight . Sunny always follow Kyra and shoots powerful blast of sunny rays which always makes her angry . That is why Kyra is hesitant to go out in Sunlight .

Myself , Jack who is nature loving guy is very fond of beach and water , a sporty guy who likes volley ball game more than any other game and a volleyball tutor . One fine day Kyra came to me while i was playing volley ball in beach . She came along with Miss Umbi ( The Ambrella girl ) who always saves her from Sunny's powerful sun rays . Kyra told me that she is very fond of volleyball and asked me whether i could teach her volley ball game . I said yes , why not .

One Major hurdle blocking me from teaching Kyra the Volleyball was Sunny . I was thinking how to tackle Sunny's powerful rays from Kyra . Me ,Umbi and Kyra went crazy in search of finding solution to this problem. We met beach doctor Mr Beachstain ( Lakme Expert ) who suggested us to use Lakme Sun Expert .As per Beachstains suggestion Kyra used Lakme Sun Expert .

The Moment Kyra used Lakme Sun Expert there was no effect of Sunny's rays on Kyra .Lakme Sun Expert was acting as a shield between Sunny and Kyra . Thanks to Lakme Sun Expert ,without its support i would not have teached Kyra volleyball . We sent Umbi back to her house as Lakme was with us throughout the summer .

When Sunny knew that there was no effect of his sunny rays on Kyra . He stopped troubling her and it was easy for me to teach her volley ball everyday on Beach .

Kyra was comfortable playing Volley ball under sun light without the fear of Sunny . Me and Kyra spent entire summer playing volleyball , boating , relaxing on the sea shore , watched the beauty of Nature . Last but not the least the Sun set on beach was very wonderful sight to watch . Thanks to Lakme for making this possible

My Little Artist - An Intel App Up

2011-08-21T04:53:00.000-07:00

Intel APPUp is simply the source for apps which has a huge repository of all apps at one single place. Its a apps built to work with windows platform such as

windows 7 and windows xp series.Intel apps are very simple and easy to download .It can be done in three simple steps :

1) Download the Intel AppUp(SM) center installer and install the same oon your PC / laptop

2)Once the installation completes double click on Intel AppUp(SM) icon to launch the Intel AppUp.

3) Register by completing the simple registration form and you are ready to download and purchase the apps at ease.

you can search and find the apps of your choice and download accordingly.

The apps which i found interesting was " My Little Artist " . This app is very interesting app which brings out a young artist in you . The app features a full screen canvass with different styles of paint brush stroke ranging from thin strokes to thick strokes of various patterns given that user has a complete choice of using these features with multiple colors.

Based on the above patters we can draw or sketch any art with different styles or patterns.

The apps has three different styles of brush to choose from :

    1) a small brush

    2) a medium brush

    3) a thick brush

Using these three combination of brushes we can sketch any picture of imagination bringing out the creativity in us.

A basic eraser to rub the sketch and make
slight modifications where ever applicable.

There is an Undo option where you can roll back the last changes made which in simple term is reverts back to a step .

Other than brush and eraser , there are many colors to choose from so that the sketch is not only limited to graphite or black color but also other colors can be used.

The notable and interesting feature of this sketch app is that there are three predified styles of horizontal/vertical line combination style where if a part of sketch is enough to complete the whole part of the design using these special styles.

The sketch which i made using this " My Little Artist " app seemed to me like a traditional rangoli pattern, i would like to share the snapshot of that pattern below:

Overall its very nice app to spend the most of your free time in sketching or designing your own set of patterns bringing the creative skills out of you.

Once everything is done , there is an option to save the sketch made by you in png and Jpg format , is 'nt it great ? check out this app and try it on own . what not you can even edit or modify the sketch saved by you earlier.

This blog is an entry to the "My Favorite PC App" contest. Check out numerous apps for PC/Netbooks available at the Intel AppUp Center. If you are looking for an opportunity to build and monetize your applications, check out the Intel® Atom™ Developer Program.

Google Music India - Music search made simpler

2010-11-03T10:39:00.000-07:00

Google has launched its Indian music search which is the best music search i have come across the internet. All the other music search has either limited songs or songs that do not match the search criteria selected by users.Currently the Google music search is for hindi songs and the english version is yet to be released.

The tagline for this search is " Search for artists, albums or songs ".Currently the collections of hindi songs are their music partners in.com, saavn and saregama . The search displays a thumbnail of music poster with recent movie releases on the landing page.

The search powers bollywood songs , traditional songs , albums , song by various artists and the users can even search by the title of the song.Thumbs up to the Google music search where music search is made simpler.Lets hope the English version would be available soon

Query to display timestamp along with date component

2010-10-31T03:34:00.000-07:00

As most of us are aware what a Sysdate Function performs , it does return a DATE value when you query the current system date . The Sysdate is a powerful function used very often when you want to consider the system date in various coding practices. If one wants the function to return a immediate next days date then just add a 1 to the sysdate as ( sysdate + 1 ) .This will return the immediate next day's date.

Usage : Select sysdate from dual ;

Coming to the Sql query to see the time stamp component , you need to convert the sysdate format into character specifying what format of date and time you want to see.

Solution : Select to_char ( sysdate , ' DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS ' ) from dual ;

The result would be similar to this :

The Sysdate includes the timestamp component also but while displaying it only shows the date component and when to convert that using to_char function you could see the time component also.

To exclude the time component from sysdate function ,

use - Trunc ( sysdate )
The above function truncates the time component and returns only date component .

Download Missing Windows .dll files immediately - Dlldump

2010-10-22T06:21:00.000-07:00

This is most common error you often see that a single or multiple (.dll) files are missing or corrupt when you have installed the application software or any other software that you use.The error could also be your system supporting dll files corrupt.

DLL - stands for dynamic link library which plays a major part in windows operating system.I had installed one software ,which showed .dll was missing . So i did a small research and found a cool site which holds large collection of dll files , and that s DllDump.com

DllDump.com - search for the dll file and download it immediately , the reason why am using dlldump is that it allows immediate download option for user rather than misleading users with download here ,download there which the other sites normally do.Link to the site is ( here )

screen shot of dlldump website :

Dll Dump.com snapshot

Example Error : The program can’t start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this program
Solution : After download , whats next ? where do i place the downloaded dll files ?

- Look for folder named system32, its located at /WINDOWS/ folder or use a folder search option in windows .

- Place the file in system32 directory and then re-start your application , if not re-boot /re-start your computer.Hope this works.

Tip :

For 32 bit Windows : use - C://WINDOWS/system32
For 64 bit Windows : use - C://WINDOWS/SysWOW64

If not , try registering the ( .dll ) file present in the system32 folder after the download ,

Registering Dll file :
Type the following on the Windows Command Prompt
<>

regsvr32.exe Your_Dll_file.dll

After that restart / reboot the application or system.

Just for your information on Unregistering the dll :
<>

regsvr32.exe /u Your_Dll_file.dll

A small difference in usage of " if - else if - else " in pl/sql , vb , Unix

2010-10-08T08:03:00.000-07:00

The underlying logic of all the programs are same , only there is slightly change in their syntax and usage.I had worked on VB 6 past so always in that mode whenever using the other languages like PL/SQL .As i was working on "if-then-else " for pl/sql and found that it was flashing the syntax error . There is a small difference of this usage in three languages .

The following are the differences of IF-THEN-ELSE used in VB , PL/SQL and UNIX shell scripts :

1) VB :

if ( condition ) then
some_statements
else if ( condition )
other_statements

else

    final_statements
end if

2) PL/SQL :

if ( condition ) then
    some_statements ;
elsif ( condition )

    other_statements ;

else

    final_statements ;
end if ;

UNIX :

if ( condition ); then
    some_statements
eif ( condition );
    other_statements

else

final_statements

Creativity And Negativity go side by side

2010-10-01T09:28:00.000-07:00

Creativity , as the name suggests is nothing but creating things that does not exists. Its something like giving a life to anything. Most animations are a product of creativity where an animal speaks to a bird or a snake takes to a mongoose. This can sometime be related to dreaming .One powerful aspect of dreaming is to reach the extreme corners of the world or the places which you have not come across with the power of imagination.

On the other hand Negativity is something like opposing , or thinking the reverse always. The one common thought that describes Negativity is to question oneself like What if ? What if i don't ? . Here more often one think that we cannot achieve anything because of the fear of failure that strikes most of the minds.

There is a lot of possibility that both go hand in hand sometimes which always has a real time impact , take a real time consideration that strikes ones mind, say you got a creative thought of jumping from a flying plane which is too high and without even thinking negatively you take a fall from plane and end up crashing on land creatively. If you had got a negative thought at that time of falling ,then you would carry a parachute along and then you could land safely.

From above thoughts sometimes think negatively along with creativity and see how success could follow you . This is applicable to real life experiences also ,may it be in field of business , artwork or anything for that matter. The only mantra to think here is "Be Negeto-creative" and change the way of thinking

Lsnrctl : error loading shared libraries libnnzll.so

2010-09-28T04:55:00.000-07:00

The main problem causing this error is that the SElinux on Rhel 5 is blocking the listener to start the Listener control services ( lsnrctl ) . I had encountered this problem when i was starting the database for Oracle E-Business suite applications. After doin a small research i could get the solution to this particular problem.

Error : lsnrctl : error loading shared libraries : /directories/libnnzll.so : cannot restore segment prot after reloc : permission denied

Cause : The SElinux of redhat preventing the lsnrctl service to start

Solution : set the SElinux to Permissive and then start the lsnrctl service , this will solve the issue.

Steps : at Root , use the following commands

getenforce
setenforce 0
getenforce

Follow the above commands in sequence at once ,these commands change the SElinux mode to permissive . Hope this will solve the issue .
