After the THIRD time she tried to escape her , Charlene Wittstock now finds herself Her Serene Highness, Princess Charlene of Monaco,forced to spend her honeymoon awaiting the paternity test on what will likely be her new husband’s third illegitimate child (that we know of), conceived during Charlene and Albert’s relationship. So Albert took Charlene to her home country, South Africa, for their honeymoon, almost like he’s tempting fate that she will again try to pull a runner, this time into the arms of her countrymen. Instead of spending their honeymoon enjoying each other, Charlene and Albert have done a series of public events, and Charlene has worn black for nearly everything, almost like she’s trying to signal that she’s in mourning. Unfortunately, we don’t have any photos from the honeymoon -you can see some here. She still looks pretty sad. And we got a tip from a South African news agency - their sources claim that Charlene and Albert aren’t even sleeping in the same room. Scratch that - they aren’t even staying in the same hotel!

They left separately, probably because they were going to different locations afterwards - Charlene was going back to her hotel to weep and self-medicate, while Albert went back to the Hilton to find more women to impregnate. Seriously, poor Charlene. I’m surprised she didn’t fall into Desmond Tutu’s arms and refuse to let go until he helped her get out of her marriage. Desmond would have too! He’s so lovely.

British celebrity couple and Victoria Beckham expecting a baby girl, putting a new kick into their family of three rambunctious boys.

The pair announced in January that they were having another child, and on Friday at a gathering of the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer club for whom Beckham plays, the proud papa let it slip that the new baby would arrive in pink, according to a report by sports TV channel ESPN.

A representative for the family said the boys' baby sister was born "happy and healthy" at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

"Obviously, we're very lucky to be expecting again, and this is the first time I'm going to say it: It's a little girl," the Galaxy midfielder said at a luncheon in Los Angeles.

The English sports star, 35, and his singer-turned-fashion designer wife, 36, are currently raising sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6. She is due in July.

David Beckham is the British football superstar who has played on soccer teams in the United States, and Victoria is an equally well-known singing star and fashion designer who was a member of the Spice Girls pop music group.

The singer-actress said in an interview about a month ago that she hadn't decided what she was going to do.

"I don't know. I haven't been forced to make a decision and I'm glad about that because honestly I'm very on the fence about it," the first year judge told Scott Mills of BBC 1, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"I had an amazing time doing it and I loved it, but I have a lot other things happening, and it's going to come down to me making a choice of what I want to do for the next year and we're not really at the breaking point of 'You have to make a decision right now!' I'm just really enjoying the time of just waiting and seeing."

Jennifer Lopez maybe at the Fox table at BAFTA's Brits to Watch gala tonight. She was invited by Fox television boss Peter Rice.

Betty Ford, the wife of the late President Gerald Ford, who overcame alcohol and prescription drug addictions and helped found a rehabilitation clinic that bears her name, died on Friday at the age of 93.

Ford once was dubbed the "fighting first lady" by Time magazine because of her outspoken political views, which often differed from those of her husband's Republican Party.

She strongly supported women's rights while her husband was president from 1974 to 1977, working the phones in a vain attempt to get states to pass the Equal Rights Amendment.

Ford also was an early campaigner against breast cancer. She underwent a mastectomy in 1974, less than two months after her husband succeeded the disgraced Richard Nixon as president.

Her frank discussions about her disease helped raise awareness about breast cancer and she eventually took the same approach toward her alcoholism.

She's problems with chemical dependency may have begun in 1964, when doctors prescribed her painkillers for a pinched nerve. She developed an addiction to prescription drugs and also became dependent on alcohol during the 1960s.

The Betty Ford Center in California came into being in 1982 after Ford was treated for her addictions at the U.S. Naval Hospital at Long Beach, and saw the need for treatment that emphasized the special needs of women.

"She has been an inspiration to so many through her efforts to educate women about breast cancer and her wonderful work at the Betty Ford Center," Nancy Reagan, the wife of the late President Ronald Reagan, said in the statement.

President Barack Obama praised Ford's courage and compassion.

"As our nation's first lady, she was a powerful advocate for women's health and women's rights," he said in a statement. "After leaving the White House, Mrs. Ford helped reduce the social stigma surrounding addiction and inspired thousands to seek much-needed treatment."

Former President George W. Bush described her as a valued friend who "made countless contributions to our country."

Ford (April 8, 1918 – July 8, 2011, better known as Betty Ford, was the wife of former United States President Gerald Ford and served as theFirst Lady of the United States from 1974 to 1977. As First Lady, Ford was active in social policy and shattered precedents as a politically active presidential wife.

SHE'S CAREER:

Elizabeth Ann Bloomer was born in Chicago, the third child and only daughter of William Stephenson Bloomer Sr. (July 19, 1874 – July 18, 1934), a traveling salesman for Royal Rubber Co., who died the day before his 60th birthday, and his wife, Hortense (née Neahr; July 11, 1884 – November 20, 1948). Her two older brothers were Robert and William Jr. After living briefly in Denver, she grew up in Grand Rapids,Michigan, where she graduated from Central High school.

After the 1929 stock market crash, when Ford was 14, she began modeling clothes and teaching children dances such as the foxtrol,waltz and big apple. She also entertained and worked with children with disabilities at the Mary Free Bed Home for Crippled Children. She studied dance at the Calla Travis Dance Studio, graduating in 1935.

When Ford was 16, her father died of carbon monoxide poisoning in the family's garage while working under their car, despite the garage doors being open.

In 1936, after she graduated from high school, she proposed continuing her study of dance in New York City, but her mother refused.Instead, she attended the Bennington School of Dance in bennington,Vermont, for two summers, where she studied under martha Graharm and Haya Holm. After being accepted by Graham as a student, Ford moved to Manhattan's Chelsa neighborhood and worked as a fashion model for the John Robert Powers firm in order to finance her dance studies. She joined Graham's auxiliary troupe and eventually performed with the company at Carnegie Hall.

Her mother opposed her daughter's choice of a career and insisted that she move home, but Ford resisted. They finally came to a compromise: she would return home for six months, and if she still wanted to return to New York at the end of the six months, her mother would not protest further. Betty became immersed in her life in Grand Rapids and did not return to New York. Her mother remarried to family friend and neighbor, Arthur Meigs Goodwin, and Betty lived with them. She got a job as assistant to the fashion coordinator for a local department store called Herpolsheimer's, as well as organizing her own dance group and taught dance at various sites in Grand Rapids.

First Lady of the United States:

When compared to her predecessor,Pat Nixon, who was noted by one reporter to be the "most disciplined, composed first lady in history", reporters questioned what kind of first lady Ford would be. In the opinion of The New York Times and several presidential historians, "Mrs. Ford's impact on American culture may be far wider and more lasting than that of her husband, who served a mere 896 days, much of it spent trying to restore the dignity of the office of the president."

The paper went on to describe her as "a product and symbol of the cultural and political times—doing the Bump along the corridors of the White House, donning a mood ring, chatting on her CB radio with the handle First Mama—a housewife who argued passionately for equal rights for women, a mother of four who mused about drugs, abortion and premarital sex aloud and without regret." In 1975, in an interview with McCall's magazine, Ford said that she was asked just about everything, except for how often she and the president had sex. "And if they'd asked me that I would have told them," she said, adding that her response would be, "As often as possible."

She was open about the benefits of psychiatric treatment, and spoke understandingly about marijuana use and premarital sex, and as a new First Lady pointedly stated that she and the President shared the same bed during a televised White House tour. After Ford appeared on 60 Minutes in a characteristically candid interview in which she discussed how she would counsel her daughter if she was having an affair, saying that she "would not be surprised,"and the possibility that her children may have experimented with marijuana. Some conservatives called her "No Lady" and even demanded her "resignation", but her overall approval rating was at seventy-five percent. As she later said, during her husband's failed 1976 presidential campaign, "I would give my life to have Jerry have my poll numbers.

POLITICAL ACTIVISM:
During her time as First Lady, Ford was also an outspoken advocate of woman's rights and was a prominent force in the Women's Movement of the 1970s. She supported the proposed Equal Rights Amendment and lobbied state legislatures to ratify the amendment, and took on opponents of the amendment. She was also un-apologetically pro-choice and her active political role prompted TIME magazine to call her the country's "Fighting First Lady" and name her a Women of the Year, representing American women along with other feminist icons. For a time, it was unclear whether Gerald Ford shared his wife's pro-choice viewpoint. However, he told interviewer Larry King that he, too, was pro-choice and had been criticized for that stance by conservative forces within the Republican Party.

Health and breast cancer awareness:

Weeks after Ford became First Lady, she underwent a mastectomy for breast cancer on September 28, 1974. Her openness about her illness raised the visibility of a disease that Americans had previously been reluctant to talk about. "When other women have this same operation, it doesn't make any headlines," she told TIME magazine. "But the fact that I was the wife of the President put it in headlines and brought before the public this particular experience I was going through. It made a lot of women realize that it could happen to them. I'm sure I've saved at least one person—maybe more." Further amplifying the public awareness of breast cancer were reports that several weeks after Ford's cancer surgery,Happy Rockefeller, the wife of vice president Nelson Rockefeller , also underwent a mastectomy.

Post-White House career:

In the years after leaving the White House in 1977, she continued to lead an active public life. In addition to founding the Betty Ford Center, she remained active in women's issues taking on numerous speaking engagements and lending her name to charities for fundraising.^{WHITE HOUSE LATER LIFE:}

In 1987, Ford underwent quadruple coronary bypass surgery and recovered without complications. In November 18, 1991, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President George H.W. Bush and a congressional Gold Medal in 1999.

On May 8, 2003, Betty Ford received the prestigious Woodrow Wilson Award in Los Angeles for her public service from the Woodrow Wilson Center of the Smithsonian Institution. She resided in Rancho Mirage and in Beaver Creek,Colorado, with her husband during these years.

Gerald Ford died at their Rancho Mirage home of heart failure on December 26, 2006, aged 93. Despite her advanced age and frail physical condition, Ford traveled across the country and took part in the funeral events in California, Washington D.C., and Michigan. Following her husband's death, Ford continued to live in Rancho Mirage. At the age of 93, she was the oldest surviving former occupant of the White House. She was also the third longest-lived first lady behind Bess Truman and Lady Bird Johnson. Poor health and increasing frailty due to operations in August 2006 and April 2007 for blood clots in her legs caused her to largely curtail her public life. Her ill health prevented her from attending the funeral of former first lady Lady Bird Johnson in July 2007. Ford's daughter Susan attended instead, representing her mother at the funeral service.

Gerald and Betty Ford were the first U.S. President and First Lady to both live into their nineties. On April 8, 2011, Ford turned 93, the same age that her late husband, President Ford reached on his last birthday, July 14, 2006. On July 6, 2011, former First Lady Nancy Reagan turned 90, and thus she and her husband, former President Ronald Reagan, joined the Fords as the second first couple to both live into their nineties.

Prince William and his new wife, Kate, make their debut on the world's largest celebrity stage on Friday with a brief California visit that combines the glitz of Hollywood with the grit of Skid Row in Los Angeles.

In a town stuffed with A-list stars, William and Kate already shine the brightest and their three-day trip to Los Angeles has sent celebrity media into a frenzy.

"We have never had a royal couple that have so much celebrity as these two. American girls are obsessed with Kate Middleton -- what she wears, what she does and the fact she was an ordinary girl who managed to bag a prince," said Melissa Bromley, West Coast bureau chief of Us Weekly magazine.

But with Britain in the middle of an austerity drive, William and Kate will keep a lid on the celebrity side of the U.S. visit while elevating the charity work.

"If they came to Hollywood and had dinner with Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise and hung out with David and Victoria Beckham and then went shoe shopping, that is definitely something they would be criticized for," Bromley told Reuters.

That royal restraint, however, hasn't stopped Los Angeles entertainment news outlets from airing special royal features three days ahead of their Friday arrival in Los Angeles.

Others side Parker's hefty earnings comes from reruns of the hit television show "Sex and the City", which she starred in and produced, and earnings from the second movie which generated $290 million at the global box office.

The top 10 earning actress made a total of $218 million between May 2010 and May 2011, according to Forbes.com, which compiled the list by talking to producers, lawyers, agents and Hollywood insiders to estimate what each actress earned.

Last year's top earner, Sandra Bullock, took a 12-month break from making movies and dropped to No.9 with earning of $15 million.

German supermodel Claudia Schiffer launched her first cashmere collection during Haute Couture fashion week in Paris with the hope of creating a lasting brand that she could pass on to her children.

The Chanel muse said she has been thinking of getting into fashion design for years and had finally decided to start with the kinds of clothes she wore all the time as a working mom such as cashmere dresses and sweaters.

Model Claudia Schiffer "I am always very busy, I have a family life... I want to wear the same outfit when I bring my children to school and then go to work with it and in the evening I want to be able to just change accessories," Schiffer told Reuters at the launch of the Claudia Schiffer clothing line in trendy Paris boutique Colette.

Schiffer's collection included long tube black and navy blue dresses, grey oversized cardigans and cable-knit sweaters costing from 250 to 500 euros.

Schiffer, who lives in Britain, is married to film producer Matthew Vaughn with whom she has three children.

While creating her brand was a "dream come true," the model acknowledged history was full of celebrities who had gone into fashion. Valentin von Arnim, managing director of Iris von Arnim, said the retail strategy of the Claudia Schiffer brand was to sell to retailers in given cities on an exclusivity basis.

For example, Colette in Paris, Harvey Nichols in Britain and Hong Kong, Boutique 1 in Dubai, Beirut, Qatar and Abu Dhabi, The Corner Berlin in Germany.

Arnim said the sweaters had been bought by about 50 stores worldwide and would also be on sale next week at online retailer net-a-porter, now controlled by luxury group Richemont.

Initially spotted for her resemblance to Brigitte Bardot, Claudia Schiffer began her career in the late 1980s and quickly joined the supermodel elite alongside Linda Evangelista, Elle Macpherson, Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell.

Having appeared on the cover of more than 500 magazines, she is one of the world's most successful and most enduring of the supermodels with a fortune estimated at more than $50 million.

Britain's Prince William and Kate took a side visit on their royal newlyweds' tour of Canada on last day to visit Slave Lake, Alberta, which was devastated by wildfires in the spring.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge toured a severely damaged part of the northern Alberta town, where burned out shells of buildings are all that are left following the May 16 inferno.

Maybe more than a third of the structures in the town of 7,000 people went up in flames.

William and Kate met for about an hour at a nearby college with residents who lost their homes. Then they greeted some of the thousands of royal-watchers who descended on the town.

The couple is due to attend festivities at the Calgary Stampede on Thursday and Friday before ending their Canadian tour and heading to California.

They maybe ending visit of Canada in Friday.They did not announce ther next tour.

The casting for the upcoming show of the X Factor has been a bit of a roller-coaster ride and it all boils down to a big game of Simon Says. Back in April it was said that Carey would have a small part in the U.S. show premiering in September. Her pregnancy prevented her from being cast as judge on the show, but now that she's no longer pregnant they make be looking to nab her for a more substantial role. What would the singer be doing? Originally she was scheduled to mentor contestants for an episode or two, but now it may be for the entire season. A source states, "Now that she has had her babies, it's very possible that she will be involved in some way in the later stages of the show...she has always said she wanted to work with the show, so it's something they will certainly be discussing ideas for soon." Carey has had a highly impressive music career, but is she mentor material? Simon certainly seems to think so saying, "I literally adore her. I love her to bits." That's saying something, especially coming from Mr. Judgmental himself. I hope the world is prepared to handle a bunch of little divas in the making.

Massey died from cancer

Actress Anna Massey, best known for her supporting roles as a lonely spinster, has died at the age of 73 from cancer,It published by British media reported on Tuesday.

Massey made her professional debut on stage at the age of 17 and enjoyed a career in film and television spanning five decades, including roles in Alfred Hitchcock's "Frenzy" and an adaptation of "The Importance of Being Ernest."

Massey was born in Thakeham,West Sussex, England, the daughter of British actress Adrianne Allen and Canadian-born Hollywood actor Raymond Massey. Her brother Daniel Massey, was also an actor. She was the niece of Vincent Massey, a Governor General of Canada.

HER CAREER:

Massey was on stage as a teenager and made her film debut in 1958. In 1960, she played a potential murder victim in Michael Powell's cult thriller Peeping Tom, she then appeared in Otto Preminger's Bunny Lake is missing (1965) opposite Laurence Oliver and later played the role of the cockney barmaid Babs in Alfred Hitchcoock's Frenzy (1972). She appeared with her brother Daniel playing deadly siblings in the 1973 horror film The Vault of Horror.

Massey continued to make occasional film and stage appearances, but has worked more frequently in television, in dramas such as The Pallisers (1974), the 1978 adaptation of Rebecca (in which she starred along with her ex-husband, Jeremy,The mayor of Casterbridge (1978),The Cherry Orchard (1980), and Anna Karenin (1985). She had roles in the British comedy series The Darling Buds of May (1991) and The Robinsons (2005). She has also appeared in a number of mysteries and thrillers on British television, including episodes of Inspector Morse, The Inspector Alleyn Mysteries,Midsomer murders,Strange,Lews, and Agatha Christie's Poirot. She was the narrator of This Sceptred Isle on BBC Radio 4 and several other novels. She also played the part of Josephine Daunt in Haunt and Dervish on BBC radio.

In 1986, Massey was awarded the British Academy TV Award for Best Actress for her role in Hotel du lac. She also appeared as Mrs. D'Urberville in the 2008 BBC adaptation of Tess of the D'Urbervilles, an older version of May and as Rosie in An Angel For May, and in the 2004 BBC version of Our Mutual Friend.

In the New Year's Honours List published 31 December 2004 she was created a Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to Drama

She published an autobiography in 2006, Telling Some Tales revealing a difficult early life and her failed marriage to actor Jeremy Brett (who struggled with bipolar disorder), their son, writer David Raymond William Huggins (b. 1959), her successful second marriage to Russian scientist Uri Andres, and of being a grandmother. Massey was quoted as saying, "Theatre eats up too much of your family life. I have a grandson and a husband and I'd rather I was able to be a granny and a wife."

Bollywood Actress Katrina Kaif,She like any other actresses in Bollywood, wore a bikini in Boom but she refrained from wearing it again since then. However, she should wear it again or loss out a big banner film. It is said that Yash Raj Films is adamant that she appears in a two-piece cloth in its forthcoming film Dhoom 3.

Sources said that Katrina is in dilemma whether to sign Dhoom 3 or not, as her role has two bikini scenes. The actress has apparently raised question on the bikini scenes. The makers of the film have made it clear that they wouldn't do away with the scenes but have assured the actress that they would shoot in an aesthetic manner.

It is said that the makers of the film are eyeing a newcomer in case Katrina turns down the role. So, it will be her loss even if she turns it down for the bikini scenes. Dhoom 3, to be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, also features Aamir Khan.

Bollywood smiling actress Katrina Kaif has stopped celebrating her birthday ever since her then boyfriend Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan got into a brawl in the middle of her birthday bash. Recently, it was reported that the actress was planning to throw a big party as she turns 27 on July 16. However, the actress denied any such plan.
