It was slightly difficult in the afternoon, because I had been foraging for extra every now and then during Nov and Dec. After that, resumption of appropriate intake was easy and automatic. Lost 2 pounds. Still carrying approximately 6 more fat pounds that seem to create some discomfort. Went with the festive mood most of the month and gained 1 or 2 pounds. Added to the 3 or 4 pounds that have gradually accumulated since leaving the hard count 14 months ago, I would guesstimate I now carry 6 or 7 pounds over approximate ideal weight. Plan to gradually increase physical activity and see how everything aligns. At this stage approximate count can only be maintained for a day or two because nature and life demand the well-rounded over time. That seemed to slow the process of random  intake a bit the first day, and the second day I chose to have one small meal and contemplate future selections more carefully.
