孝親報恩梁皇法會

法不孤起，仗境方生。梁皇誌公，興慈運悲，

啟殊勝之懺法，建銷罪之功績；

三途親恩，得以脫苦，淨梵人天，蓮品增上

佛光山三寶寺為倡導《孝道月》，發揚孝親報恩、慎終追遠之美德，謹訂於2013年8月15至18日(農曆七月初九至十二日)，啟建《孝親報恩梁皇法會》，並於圓滿日舉行三時繫念佛事一堂。以此功德迴向歷代祖先蓮品增上；眾信徒福慧增長；普願社會安和樂利，世界和平。屆時歡迎闔府蒞臨，拈香禮佛，共霑法益。

佛光山供僧道糧緣起

供養僧寶大福田培植功德廣無邊晝夜六時恆吉祥常得妙樂壽綿延

一年一度的《孝親報恩梁皇法會》暨《僧寶節》又將屆臨。本山開山大師，恪遵佛制，定為《孝道月》以供養出家眾之功德來表達孝親之意。大師對供僧的原則為：不只供養一餐，要供養全年；不供養少人，要供養多眾；不只供養現在，更要供養未來。

佛光山開山至今，承蒙諸位檀那長期護持，已培育之比丘、比丘尼有千人之上，其中或在海內外弘法，或在國內外深造。而正在佛教學院精勤修學者，亦數百人，是佛門未來之龍象，世間眾生之導護，使僧眾得以安心辦道，弘法利生，不勝感激。此皆諸位檀那熱心護持有以致之。

為倡道孝親報恩與供僧植福之故，敬請隨喜贊助，裨我護法檀那仗此殊勝善力，上報四重恩、下濟三塗苦。為感謝諸位檀信捐獻道糧，長期供養僧眾，將於法會期間回向各位護法信徒之現生父母，延年益壽；過往先靈，上生佛國。

FGS Sangha-offering of Cultivation

Provisions

Making offerings to the great field of blessings of the Sangha-treasure,

One cultivates meritorious virtues expansively without bound.

The six periods of day and night are continually auspicious

Constantly in wondrous bliss, longevity is lengthened.

The annual Emperor Liang Dharma-assembly of Filial Piety and Gratitude along with Sangha Day are approaching. In observance of the Buddha’s teaching, our Master has set the season as Filial Piety Month to create merits and virtues from offerings to the monastic community as expression of one’s filial piety.

Since its founding, by means of the continued support of countless benefactors, Fo Guang Shan has nurtured and educated more than 1000 monastics—whether they are teaching at home or advancing their studies abroad. Additionally, those still diligently studying in the Buddhist Seminary also number in the hundreds—they are the future leaders of Buddhism, guides and protectors of the world’s sentient beings. Enabling the monastic community to cultivate without burden of mind and propagate the Dharma to benefit beings, is due to the enthusiastic support of benefactors such as yourself for which appreciation surpasses beyond words.

In order to promote filial piety and the Sangha-offering which plant blessings, you are invited to make donations as you wish; by such rare and extraordinary strengths of goodness may the four gratitudes be repaid above, and the suffering of the three paths be rescued below.As appreciation for the offering of cultivation provisions by benefactors, dedications will be made for the longevity of one’s present-life parents and the rebirth into Buddha-lands for those deceased.

浴佛法會

佛光山三寶寺慶祝佛誕節暨母親節暨《浴佛法會》

在2500多年前的四月初八日，偉大的佛陀～釋迦牟尼佛～降誕於百花齊放、眾鳥爭鳴的印度迦毗羅衛國。太子誕生後，隨即有淨水從天灑下，沐浴在王子的身上。後來佛教徒每年為慶祝佛陀的誕生，於此日舉行浴佛儀式。藉著浴佛來淨化自己的身、口、意，去除貪、瞋、癡。以此功德轉五濁惡世為清淨的淨土；迴向法界人民康樂、社會安祥、世界和平。

American Buddhist Cultural Society‧Celebration of Buddha’s Birthday
Buddha-bathing Dharma-assembly

Today I bathe the myriad Tathagathas;
Purity and wisdom adorning the ocean of meritorious virtues.
Sentient beings of the five turbidities leave their defilements,
Together attaining the Tathagata’s pure Dharma-body!

More than 2500 years ago, on the eighth day of the fourth moon, the great Buddha—Sakyamuni—was born in Kapilvastu while hundreds of flowers bloomed and the multitude of birds sang. After the prince was born, pure water showered from the skies, bathing his royal body.

Later, Buddhists celebrated the Buddha’s birth every year on that day by holding Buddha-bathing ceremonies. Through bathing of the Buddha, we purify our body, speech, and mind, cleansing ourselves of greed, anger, and ignorance. By means of this merit, the period of the five evil corruptions are transformed into a pure-land; praying that all people in the world be healthy and joyous, society be peaceful and auspicious, and the world be in harmony.

佛光山供僧道糧緣起

供養僧寶大福田 培植功德廣無邊

晝夜六時恆吉祥 常得妙樂壽綿延

一年一度的《孝親報恩梁皇法會》暨《僧寶節》又將屆臨。本山開山大師，恪遵佛制，定為《孝道月》以供養出家眾之功德來表達孝親之意。大師對供僧的原則為：

不供養一餐，要供養全年；不供養少人，要供養多眾；
不只供養現在，更要供養未來。

佛光山開山至今，承蒙諸位檀那長期護持，已培育之比丘、比丘尼有千人之上，其中或在海內外弘法，或在國內外深造。而正在佛教學院精勤修學者，亦數百人，是佛門未來之龍象，世間眾生之導護，使僧眾得以安心辦道，弘法利生，不勝感激。此皆諸位檀那熱心護持有以致之。

為倡道孝親報恩與供僧植福之故，敬請隨喜贊助，裨我護法檀那仗此殊勝善力，上報四重恩、下濟三塗苦。

為感謝諸位檀信捐獻道糧，長期供養僧眾，將於法會期間回向各位護法信徒之現生父母，延年益壽；過往先靈，上生佛國。

FGS Sangha-offering of Cultivation Provisions

Making offerings to the great field of blessings of the Sangha-treasure,

One cultivates meritorious virtues expansively without bound.

The six periods of day and night are continually auspicious

Constantly in wondrous bliss, longevity is lengthened.

The annual Emperor Liang Dharma-assembly of Filial Piety and Gratitude along with Sangha Day are approaching. In observance of the Buddha’s teaching, our Master has set the season as Filial Piety Month to create merits and virtues from offerings to the monastic community as expression of one’s filial piety. Grand Master’s principle for Sangha offerings are:

Do not offer a single meal, but make offerings of an entire year.

Do not offer to a few people, but make offerings to the multitudes.

Do not only make offerings of the present, but even more so make offerings of the future.

Since its founding, by means of the continued support of countless benefactors, Fo Guang Shan has nurtured and educated more than 1000 monastics—whether they are teaching at home or advancing their studies abroad. Additionally, those still diligently studying in the Buddhist Seminary also number in the hundreds—they are the future leaders of Buddhism, guides and protectors of the world’s sentient beings. Enabling the monastic community to cultivate without burden of mind and propagate the Dharma to benefit beings, is due to the enthusiastic support of benefactors such as yourself for which appreciation surpasses beyond words.

In order to promote filial piety and the Sangha-offering which plant blessings, you are invited to make donations as you wish; by such rare and extraordinary strengths of goodness may the four gratitudes be repaid above, and the suffering of the three paths be rescued below.

As appreciation for the offering of cultivation provisions by benefactors, dedications will be made for the longevity of one’s present-life parents and the rebirth into Buddha-lands for those deceased.

啟建孝親報恩梁皇法會通啟

法不孤起，仗境方生。梁皇誌公，興慈運悲，

啟殊勝之懺法，建銷罪之功積；

三途親恩，得以脫苦，淨梵人天，蓮品增上。

本寺為倡導《孝道月》，發揚孝親報恩、慎終追遠之美德，謹訂於2012年8月23至26日(農曆七月初七至初十日)，啟建《孝親報恩梁皇法會》，並於圓滿日舉行三時繫念佛事一堂。以此功德迴向歷代宗親蓮品增上；眾善信徒福慧增長；普願社會安康，世界和平。屆時歡迎闔府蒞臨，拈香禮佛，共霑法益。

在結束歐洲巡迴及溫哥華弘法的國際佛光會中華總會會長心定和尚，於七月七號應佛光山三寶寺之邀，馬不停蹄的前往舊金山大學，主講「人天三福行」佛學講座，吸引近五百人參與。
與會者人手一盞環保燭燈，由國際佛光會中華總會會長心定和尚慈悲領眾，恭讀星雲大師祈願文，在佛法與祝福聲中，大眾歡喜度過一個美好的夏日夜晚。
講座上，心定和尚以「人天三福行」入題，以說故事的方式，闡明以布施廣結善緣，來生可得富貴，以持戒而能再世為人、以禪定得以往生天界，而此三福行，是為增上生心的修行法門。
眾人沉浸於聽聞佛法，一個半小時的演講意猶未盡，心定和尚並開放提問與大眾互動，以流利英語回答美籍聽眾問題。現場與會嘉賓包括三寶寺住持覺揚法師、國際佛光會舊金山協會督導夏玉珠及會長周靖遠，率領舊金山信眾與佛光會會員參與，北加州佛光山佛光寺、佛光山佛立門文教中心及佛光山菩提寺的法師們，也全員出動，帶領信徒踴躍出席，共吸引近五百人與會。

   迎春接福，佛光山三寶寺，自除夕夜起，舉辦系列春節法會活動，為大眾祈福消災，祈求新年諸事圓滿，吉祥平安！除夕、新春禮拜活動，共有近500人參加，信眾共祈去舊迎新，熱鬧非凡！

   於2/26:00PM除夕夜，為感謝義工年來護持道場，舉辦「2011年義工歲末圍爐」，逾70位義工參加.各組義工、青年會及童軍家長共聚一堂！三寶寺在義工們的發心付出下，像個溫馨的大家庭，更為此地信眾提供了最佳的心靈歸依！接著於8:00pm～『除夕延生普佛---消災免難祈延生』開始，住持覺揚法師為大眾說明星雲大師題寫2011年春聯法語「巧智慧心」的意義；智慧，每個人多少都有一點，但那只是聰明，巧智就更為重要了。巧智有了，還要有慧心；智慧，人都有一點，但智慧不是從頭腦生出來的，是從心靈啟發出來的。

   『有巧智，才能有靈性；有巧智，才能有活動；
   有巧智，才能有美感；有巧智，才能有思想。
   有慧心，才能明白自己；有慧心，才能認識世界；
   有慧心，才能洞察一切，有慧心，才能預知未來。』

   接著11:00pm至1:00am的『燒頭香』。駐舊金山台北經濟文化辦事處江國強處長、王海龍副處長及文教中心李定勇主任，在夏玉珠督導陪同蒞臨佛光山三寶寺團拜及燒頭香，仰仗諸佛菩薩的慈悲祈願舊金山市事務新榮。三寶寺覺揚法師特以春節佛光福袋結緣祝賀。

   2月3日大年初一早7：30，許多信眾便到三寶寺為新年祈福，參加早上11:30舉行「平安燈上燈法會」，信眾一起在佛前禮拜諸佛聖號，祈求眾佛菩薩保佑新的一年順順利利、平平安安。常住準備各項祈福活動--燃燈祈福、祈願樹、觀音祈願池及精心巧製50份的‘佛光福袋’，以六塵供供諸佛，把佛光及福報帶回家。穿流不息的人潮，為新春帶來熱力四射的活力，五觀
堂午齋提供各式美味素齋，更是人潮洶湧喜氣洋洋，座無虛席。7:30pm～9:00pm舉行『新春禮拜千佛祈福法會』。覺揚法師以佛教的「七聖財」勉勵大眾勤學佛學增長智慧，人事和諧更能理事圓融。

   常住準備新春祈願紅包、星雲大師2011年春聯及金橘和金桔與眾結緣。眾人互道恭喜聲中，祈祝大眾「兔年」行大運，祝福大家像巧兔一樣，擁有「巧智慧心」。

燈會主旨

   2011年歲次屬「兔」，佛光山開山宗長星雲大師為今年的新春賀辭寫下「巧智慧心」作為燈會的主題，勉勵大眾要有兔子的靈巧與智慧，有巧智，才能有靈性、有活動、有美感、有思想；有慧心，而能明白自己、認識世界、洞察一切進而預知未來。

   今年「佛光山2011年春節平安燈會－巧智慧心」，以「三好」、「四給」、「環保」、「傳承」為今年的四大特色，希望人人奉行「做好事」、「說好話」、「存好心」的美德，奉行「給人信心、歡喜、希望、方便」的精神，落實「環保與心保」的理念，更希望在佛光山寺僧眾的祈福祝禱下，社會大眾能夠六時吉祥、諸事圓滿。共同參與佛陀紀念館地宮珍寶入宮法會，將歷史保存下來，把功德留給自己。為世間留下「四和」的淨土的當下，共同迎接中華民國建國百年紀念。

   為期一個月的佛光山春節平安燈會，除了保存傳統的燒頭香、上燈法會、禮千佛法會、殿堂參拜、朝山禮聖、文化藝術、化妝遊行、繪畫寫生外，今年將於佛光山設置環保燈區，讓社會大眾一同參與，以保特瓶製作花燈DIY，與主題燈「環保心保」相互輝映。另外，即將竣工的佛光山佛陀紀念館亦將同步舉辦地宮珍寶入宮法會，這一座珍藏人類共同生活記憶的文化地標，貫穿現世與未來之際，在世人的見證下，為後代子孫留下時代發展的軌跡。

   祈願大眾把握難得因緣，到佛光山一睹百千年後與世再見的當代歷史紀念文物，過一個與眾不同的心靈饗宴之旅。

四大特色介紹

【三好】
   「三好運動」即「做好事、說好話、存好心」，乃1998年星雲大師在中正紀念堂恭迎佛牙舍利來台祈福法會上，與當時的副總統連戰，帶領十萬民眾，共同宣誓奉行三好運動，希望藉由做好事，發心為大眾服務；說好話，以慈悲心讚美他人；存好心，設身處地為他人設想，必能帶給人間無限的希望。十餘年來，不論是佛光山或國際佛光會所舉辦的各類活動，舉凡文化、教育、慈善、弘法等類別皆依「三好」為活動主旨，不斷推廣且推動實踐，直至今日，不論老人或小孩人人皆能琅琅上口，日行三好。

   此外，公益信託星雲大師教育基金發起「星雲真善美新聞貢獻獎」，獎勵媒體報導、製作三好、真善美的新聞與專題；啟動「文學獎」，獎勵社會大眾踴躍提筆撰寫優質的文學作品。而佛光山刻正積極推動校園三好運動，鼓勵學生做好事、說好話、存好心；佛光會未來也計劃每年選出一百戶「佛光三好人家」，以此慢慢建立起三好校園、三好家庭、三好社會。

   今年，有隨處可見佛光沙彌花燈，陳設在佛光山各處，除了共同宣導「家庭行三好，幸福直到老；社會行三好，安和樂利保；全球行三好，世界更美好。」的和平理念外，更將佛門六度、四攝的意涵體現於設計之中，藉由可愛活潑的沙彌花燈，將真善美的意念傳達給每個小朋友，達到寓教於樂的功能。「三好集印」、「三好創意商品」在平安燈會期間已成為每年大、小朋友回山時最愛的傳統活動，相信今年3D書卡的設計，將帶給民眾一個特別的驚喜。

【四給】
   星雲大師提倡「給人信心，給人歡喜，給人希望、給人方便」的工作信條。發揚「佛說的、人要的、淨化的、善美的、歡喜的」的「人間佛教」，讓普世人類透過真誠的喜捨，獲得無上的法喜和歡悅。

   佛光山維持三十年以上傳統的「三好嘉年華─化裝遊行」，今年除了保有花車遊行及大慈育幼院、大專院校的表演，隊伍中尚有去年極受歡迎、爭相合照，高達近三公尺的「三好人偶」外，今年亦加入新的同參好友「四給沙彌」，屆時將邀請來山朋友共同加入「三好嘉年華會遊行隊伍」中，一同將佛法伴隨歡笑聲，傳達給每一個人。

   此外，國際佛教的新地標─佛陀紀念館，佛光山諸位法師將在成佛大道兩旁種植綿延一公里不同的花卉，讓無暇北上觀賞花博的鄉親，得以欣賞花團錦簇的花海，令眾生歡喜。而佛光山福慧家園的啟用，也即將邁入一週年，這一年來除了提供說、唱、讀、演的多元修持方法也開辦各項啟發身心靈的教育課程外，今年春節期間更設計適合全家大小的「福慧歡喜益智佛法區」、「福慧茶亭」、「親子樂活體驗區」等，讓親子一起玩音樂、戲劇、滾球，享受天倫之樂。

【環保】
   為響應星雲大師於「2010國際佛光會世界會員代表大會」發表「環保與心保」的主題，因此，今年於佛光山後院設置大型花燈裝置藝術呈現「重視環保、搶救地球」的意象，提醒萬物之靈的人類也是毀滅的製造者，因為人類的自私無明，破壞了自然界的和諧與循環，以致天災地變不斷。向來倡導和平的佛教，有感於世間干戈不息致使天災不斷，於是在早晚扣鐘時，皆聲聲祈願「干戈永息，世界和平」。讓鐘聲揚十萬億佛土，願洪鐘陣陣，為法界眾生帶來沒有恐懼的安樂。

   佛光山除了重視環保外，更強調「內心環保」的重要性。因此，燈會期間為因應社會大眾到寺院禮佛祈願，淨化身心靈，同時舉辦各項傳統修持活動，包括：燒頭香、朝山禮聖、上燈法會、殿堂禮拜、點燈祈福、百萬心經入法身抄經等修持，讓人們在新的一年裡，人人發掘內心的般若智慧，面對外在的困境；達到人人平安吉祥，自在無礙。

   此外，在除夕子夜當晚，將由佛光山住持心培和尚敲響寒山寺贈送給佛光山的「和平鐘」，祈願世界共同響應大師提出的「家庭和順、人我和敬、社會和諧、世界和平」的「四和」理念；亦開展「給人信心、歡喜、希望、方便」的「四給」新生活。大年初一起即開放民眾叩鐘祈福，祝願世界和平、國富民安、所求滿願、諸事吉祥。

【傳承】
   在中華民國建國100年的此刻邀請各界佳賓一同在佛光山見證「人類史上最珍貴的文化地標─佛陀紀念館」的偉大與壯觀。並以虔誠的心，徒步走進心靈的殿堂；用法喜的心，穿越佛陀弘法事蹟的走廊欣賞星雲大師書寫讚歎佛陀的智慧法語。進而在佛光普照的加被下，讓所有參觀的人都能獲得滿滿的希望與感動。

  「佛光山佛陀紀念館第二次地宮珍寶入宮法會─當代文物，地宮收藏，百千年後，與世再見」，延續去年的感動，將當今史上最珍貴的寶物親手送入地宮，錯過此生，靜待百千年後才能再次相見！在人間萬象中，永遠都是悲喜交疊，但在歷史一頁，卻不曾因此而停止記錄。把握此身難得因緣，亦可參加一時千載、千載一時的「百萬心經入法身」活動，藉由抄經的修持，讓心靈得到平靜與歡喜，讓佛入我心，我心入佛，體現重重無盡的華嚴世界。
