I believe that the hardest thing in life is figuring out your lifetime goal.

Seeking - in the midst of all the calamity that every day life could offer -

pushing, and pulling, to find something to confidently stand for...

isnt as "easy-peasy lemon-squeezy" as we think it is, but awesome and actually life changing..

Because I mean what's life if you live for nothing right?

Wether it be to obtain a higher education, job,personal goals,

providing for yourself or your family, becoming an example,

making an impact in your school or community, whatever it could possibly be...

maybe even standing for self respect & self-confidence..

Just stand for something.

Although it may be silly, but I believe that we can all stand for this one thing..

something that might seem easy but actually quiet a challenge.

LOVE.

Because it seems so small, so ~~insignificant~~ at the moment,

but can impact a person's life in so many ways.

There is not one person out there who is exactly the same.

But we all love to be loved.

As babies we NEED it.

As kids we SEEK it.

As teenagers we try and UNDERSTAND it.

As adults we LEARN from it.

and its crazy but, as humans we are the only ones who have the capacity to GIVE it.

Standing for something isnt just something you say.

It's something you live by, act upon, and challenge yourself to be an example of.

That's what I stand for.

Came back to the same place I took some photos and realized that I still had plenty of options to choose from: a different wall, a different shop, or alley. This place here is located in Downtown Escondido near the EscoGelato shop I was firmly obsessed with at the beginning of the year haha I can't help but fall in love with Downtown Esco, from the trees that shade the sidewalk to the unique characteristic of each and every shop. It has what you would say an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere - at least to me that is - but then again even Downtown San Diego is a beautiful adventure in itself.

Thank you Shoploeil for this lovely top, although it took me a while to post it up it was a pleasure to work with you and I am completely IN love with your shop! I hope great things for Shoploiel!

Small Adventures.

Took a stroll along the sides of Silver Lake in San Marcos the afternoon I took these photos. I couldn't help but miss my training days while passing through a handful of runners around the lake. Although I ultimately hated running in the heat, it reminded me of how much it helped my endurance, and all that hardwork amounted to something so great - crossing that finish line and receiving a medal. What's even better is that everyone around you: runners, joggers, walkers - all of them are all heading to the same place you are; making the same effort, and putting all the same strength in it as you are. I find is to be a beautiful thing when people come to share a special memory, although not realizing it at that moment, but we all shared a sense of accomplishment at the end of all that struggle. Through running, I learned the lesson of what it's like to make a goal, and trianing your body and mind to reach that goal whether big or small it may be.

The fight to finish is worth it.

Hello again! It's been a few weeks that I've been MIA. I've just been the usual busy me running around, and the past weekend a close friend of mine had gotten married. As one of the bridesmaids, I had the privilege to help in sharing and creating her big wedding day. It definitely is true that the best part of a wedding is not only watching the beautiful bride walk down the aisle, but to turn around and glance at the groom's expression as he lovingly watches his future wife come closer and closer. It honestly made me tear up when I saw his eyes starting to water when she appeared...No words can describe how amazing it felt to see that day turning out so well.

Dresses, Dresses, Dresses...not much of a dress kind of girl -i'd pick pants over dresses any day- only because I just feel way more comfortable in moving around in them more so than dresses, don't you agree? I mean i'd be in constant alert on a windy day making sure flashing is NOT going to be an option..just imagine if that happened...I just cant right now hahaha #embarrassing

BUT, for some odd reason my eyes have been wavering towards the dresses section. The days have gotten warmer and shorts just doesn't seem quiet right to me this season, or maybe I should wait a little more before I proclaim my new found attraction to dresses. I'm here...eyes closed, toes in the sand with wind tossed hair, a smirk slides across my face, this is it. Winter has slowly gone by and the blankets of Spring sunshine and breeze has settled in this part of California. It was a quick Tuesday trip with my cousin past Escondido and off to the beach. At this moment I cannot recall whatsoever the name of where I was at, but I am positively in love with the whole place. Who doesn't fall in love with the classics? We can try our hardest to reform it, reshape it, and maybe create something completely new out of it, but we'll always come back to it. That's just how it is, it's the foundation of everything...just like a first love. It's a gravitational pull to something familiar.

The day I took these photos, the weather was a mix of wind, clouds, and random bright rays of sun...it felt a tad bit bipolar. Sunny and hot one moment, and then cloudy and windy the next. But nevertheless a pretty relaxing beautiful weather. I couldn't help but grab this coat from H&M THE moment I laid my eyes on it. I knew in my head that I could conjure up millions of outfits with this great little coat (and lets just agree that $30 is a steal)! haha I feel accomplished when I find myself saving a few here in there when a bargain comes my way :)

Drove straight to this location when I decided to grab a few pictures...only because I was drawn to this very picture. "Take Heart" it reminded me of one of my favorite verses:

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." -John 16:33

This verse reminds us that even through the worst times in our lives, we should have peace - be encouraged - because God's got us. It's pretty cool because "have overcome" is past tense meaning its already been done...there's nothing to worry about but to have faith.

Good Afternoon here from California!

I am beyond happy to finally have cold weather after such a long period of hot hot hotness haha

It rained last night and I came home feeling energetic that I decided to workout with my cousin, sister, and friend for a good two hours or so. I was pretty surprised how awake I felt considering the fact that I came home around 12am in the morning, went straight to the gym and came home around 2am!

High five to successfulness! haha

On another note! After my boyfriend picked me up to grab some breakfast, he offered to take my photos this time around, and so here they are! :)

I recently received my package from Frontrowshop.com a few weeks ago and I picked out this oh-so-comfortable-keep-me-warm-everyday-oversized sweater and let me tell you it is just exactly as how I named it if not more. ahaha I'd live in this sweater if I could from morning to night - that's just how awesome this velvety goodness is!

Collective Habit X HelielyB: Last Look!

Hello my fellow readers!
So here's to the last look from my collective habit shoot!
Cheers!! I hope you guys enjoyed each look as much as I did.
It was such an awesome, exciting, and fun experience (thank you so much Kim!).
For this look we decided to go with the timeless "black on black" theme.
A little black dress from Stylestalker, grabbed a larger size on the outerwear to add a bit more layers, as well as a simple knit sweater to wrap around the waist, and a perfect slouchy beanie to top it all off like cherry on an amazing sundae haha so, yes I twisted this LBD into a more comfortable look hehe
