i think i wrote this a week before giving birth. yes! i gave birth before my scheduled C-Section.

its been a while.. no.. its been a long time since the last day i wrote a blog.. i have been busy at work, plus i am also busy helping my husband with his work when i come home.. ooopps did i just said husband? yes.. i got married last February 19, 2016.. well i think it is about time.. since we were having another baby... we decided to get married and make it really official.. hence, the tight budget.. we finally decided to stick to the plan we planned before way back before we had our first child, a civil wedding and luncheon for few close family and friends. all is well ends well..

Anyhoo, All we thought i was having a baby girl, but when my doctor was about to reveal what the gender of our baby is, she said it is a boy again.. well every baby is a blessing and i am so happy to have to two boys soon. And few weeks more i am about to pop.. right now, i am currently living in a dress.. i am having a hard time wearing anything that deals with bottoms, even underwear. i am currently on my last few weeks, and i am still working.. saving my maternity leave for my little one so that i can take care of him and markee for the rest of the 60 days. I am really excited and nervous at the same time.. because when i had markee, he was a preemie, that is why i had an emergency c-section. right now, my ob recommended that i should have a c-section again because the baby is bigger than expected. Right now, i am preparing everything, i already packed my hospital bag and baby hospital bag. but i still have a list to finish.

okay, today is August 7, 2016..

i gave birth last 25th of July.. we did not expect i was going to give birth that night.. i did not felt any contractions, i only had blood spotting.. i dont know what to feel.. i was excited and nervous at the same time.. but i did not showed my nervousness to my husband, because he will be more nervous than i am. i just calmed myself.. besides i did not felt any pain at all.. no labor.. the only pain i felt was when the anesthesiologist was poking my back with that big injection.

i didn't know this wasn't posted! arghh!

Hello 2016! i hope this time my lazy bones won't get in the way... i love to blog... this year.. i really PROMISE I'd be more active in blogging. last December i was planning to blog about "3 things that's making me happy" but something keeps in getting the way... late last year i was promoted! i was about to resign in my company, but god made me wait a little more.. then poof! what a Christmas gift! its been raining blessings since December started.

after selling my Toyota town ace, my dad gave me when he was still alive, we bought a new car, a Honda mobilio. perfect for our family, since my mom is not settling to live here at the province anymore. she'll be leaving the car mostly to me haha and because i don't think my brother is never going to leave ilocos! so I'm part owner of the car :)

and the greatest gift i received last Christmas was Baby #2. i never announced it online because i'm still not contented just yet because last December i only did the Pregnancy Test. I haven't had my tummy checked until me and my hubby decided its time. when i had my check up, she/he is already big. i even saw her/him moving around my tummy. Prayers are really powerful, I was always praying for baby #2, because markee is so big now and always asking for a little brother but i am hoping and praying for a baby girl. i will be updating you with my pregnancy every month! at last! i will be a mommy of two adorable kids. cant wait til i pop!

i am thanking God for all the blessings we've been receiving and will be receiving.

We've been staying in the same roof for almost six years now. we've been through ups and downs, we almost broke up but we tried to work it out. we had markee, when we were just 20, the reason why i have goals in my life. I never dreamed about a perfect relationship, well in reality there's no such. We fight a lot of times before, now, when we have petty fights after an hour or so, we laugh about how we reacted. haha, For all those years, we've known each other since like forever, its impossible we don't know each other perfectly right? I feel very very comfortable when i am with him. no secrets, no dramas. Our key to a longer relationship is TRUST. Because if you don't know how to trust each other you'll end up fighting, crying or whatever that comes up to your mind. Breaking someone's trust is like crumpling up a perfect piece of paper. You can smooth it over but its never gonna be the same again. It happened to us once, i was always overreacting at things, being paranoid, even though he's not doing something. It took me a year to give him a try to trust again. which in the end he gave me reasons why i can give him a chance. Another one is COMMUNICATION. Contempt, the opposite of respect, is often expressed via negative judgment, criticism, or sarcasm regarding the worth of an individual. you know, opposite attracts when one is rough you in the other hand have to be soft. :) don't just nag nag and nag and its pretty much easier if you and your partner talk things out. do not be angry and stay mad at the same time. you'll end up having long cold shoulders if you do that. Communicate, even if its uncomfortable or uneasy. One of the best ways to heal is simply getting everything out.

Staying and keeping your relationship stronger is really hard especially if your relationship had too much struggles. in the end of the day, you should always see the brighter side. ask yourself. why am i still with him? my answer is its called LOVE. the closest thing we have to magic!

i am not writing these because we have a perfect relationship but because I experienced so many trials and learned some lessons.

Ola November!

I've been away from blogging for four months now... please be nice to me! Backlogs backlogs. i have 16 drafts but i don't think i am going to post those. maybe someday. for the past four months, i tried cross-fit then stopped after my sessions were done and then got fat again. wow. (i know right?) i thought i was pregnant but i am not. boooo hooo!

I applied to a call center but never returned their call just because everyone looked like pffft whatever. i always wanted to work abroad but leaving my kid breaks my heart especially at his age, he needs me. Sometimes I don't understand why moms can sacrifice it, but i know i can't, i want to, but i really can't.

anyhoo, during my birthday month, since i don't want anything big on my birthday i had to pamper myself. me and my bestfriend went out for a footspa and then went to our favorite milk tea house WABI SABI. then drove around the city. after that i took my bestfreind and my family to Gerry's Grill to celebrate my birthday!

I've also met new found old friends! did you get it? ha ha... i know them, but i don't get to hang with them before like we do now. we have like this mommies night out every Friday, so yes ladies i am back on track but sometimes, i feel guilty whenever i leave the house knowing my kid is still wide awake telling me "mama, don't be so late" me answering him back "i'll be home when you wake up babe don't worry" is that what you call separation anxiety? ha ha.

TMNT Gummies, SpiderMan Gummies & Scott's Vitamins C!

As a mom of a five year old, my kid is not always as easy to feed. he is very curious and such a very picky eater. It is a daily challenge for me to ensure that markee eats a balanced meal, have enough energy to manage school and other daily activities. Just like other children, they are active and gets hungry often. that's why i always make him take his vitamins.

eversince my grandma gave markee gummy vites. markee never forgets to take his vitamins. especially now that there are gummy vitamins that has your child's favorite cartoon character. (well, most of it) my baby loves teenage mutant ninja turtles and spiderman so much! so i requested my grandma to buy markee ninja turtle gummies.

Just like any other mom’s dilemma, my child became choosy too. I have a hard time convincing him to eat vegetables and fruits, and to take his vitamins regularly. I noticed that he easily get cough and runny nose. Maybe he needed more Vitamin C, so aside from the multivitamins, i also make him take some extra vitamins C. i recently bought scott's vitamin c pastilles, while waiting for the Disney Vitamins C+ we purchased at walmart.

Scott’s is manufactured in Malaysia and is imported to the Philippines by the well known GlaxoSmithKline Company. It is a vitamin C in pastille candy form. It is an easy to chew vitamin C for kids, ages 3, and adults over 12 years old.

It comes in four berry flavors (black currant, strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry) that is packed into one thus called mixed berries. Each pastille contains 30 mg Vitamin C. It has no artificial color or sweetness.

This brand of vitamin C comes into two containers; 1. The 100 gram plastic bottle which has 50 pcs pastilles, and 2. The 30 gram small foil pouch which has 15 pastilles.

1 pastille a day is recommended for kids while 2 can be taken by adults.

i love these vitamins because its candy-like, its easy to let the kids to take because duh! they thought its just candy.!

How to raise a HAPPY KID

Tip # 1
Support him in everything.. even the little things..

Me and mark never miss an event his school is having..We make sure he's there watching us and making us proud.

he also gives us drawings, do you know what i do? i put them up on our wall to make him feel that his drawings (even if its silly)are very special to us.. i also hang all his test scores to make him feel we are very proud of him.. markee is a really smart boy though, we always encourage him on what he likes to do.

Tip# 2
Reward him every time he accomplished something good or something he did for the first time! (like ride a bike without training wheels)

me and mark always reward markee with cheat food (fast food) as we call it. markee really love McDonald's and Jollibee. So after work, we go either whatever he likes. sometimes, we reward him with movie dates depends if he like the movie or what. and lastly, sometimes, a toy but not all the time..

in this way, he push his self to strive hard, it really works.

Tip #3
be a role model

set as an example to your child.. monkey see, monkey do..

Tip#4
LISTEN to your child

markee is very good in reasoning, that's why i always hear his shenanigans, as long as it takes. even if his reasons are very silly, i listen, i will always listen.

this way, he'll tell you the truth, he will be never afraid to tell you everything. because once you nag about his fault, he starts to lie, because he'll think if he tells the truth you'll get more even mad.

Tip #5
Never Embarrass your kid in front of everybody

Back when i was little, my mom always scold me in front of everybody, her mouth was like an armalite that never runs out of bullets. that made me do impolite things, like talking back. when i had markee, i told myself never to do the same, we make sure when we discipline markee, we always go to a corner and talk to him in a nice way or when we are in public and he keeps on running and running, i'll make him choose, if he wants to go home na or stay but he will behave.

this way, he'll understand. he'll learn that mommies and daddies are always right.

last week, I got to catch up with my best friend.. who just gave birth to a baby girl.. wow.. a mom of two.. how i wish it's that fast to have a baby girl. i would love to have a mini me.. if only we can sure that if i get pregnant it's a baby girl. markee always tells us that he wants a brother/sister especially when he's playing alone.. how i wish markee.. how i wish it's that easy... sorry for not blogging for a long time..because you know...i work for 8 hours and mommy/wife duties after.. ME TIME is not on my list. Markee is now having his vacation at Manila right now with his lola (grandma). a day without my baby feels so lonely.. :( even if im with mark, nothing beats the feeling when markee is around.. hmmm.. how miss my baby..

Anyhoo, I've been looking for a perfect study table for markee, I've looked online, but the shipping fee is too expensive for my budget, i tried looking at the mall but its too big for our house, there's this one shopping center here in our city that sells cheap homegoods, luckily, i found one that is similar as what i saw at lazada.com.ph and its half the price! so i bought it immediately because its spiderman and it's one of markee's favorite character, why shouldn't i buy for my lil smarty pants.!?

this is exactly how it looks. perfect for my smart lil boy!

cant wait for my baby to come home and see what's his reaction when he sees what we bought him when he was away. school supplies shopping when you get here babe! i miss you so much!

my two year old markee

it's really hard to be a working mom, specially now that my son who is now five years of age goes to school. its really hard to manage time. we don't have a nanny, i go to work, my hubby goes to work.. but thank god i have my mom, Markee stays with his grandma after school and we pick him up after working hours.

Markee is growing too fast, he gets stubborn in different ways. as much i want him to stay put, the more he moves around. specially when we are out, one second we are walking around the next thing you know, he's out of sight. he is pretty much not afraid of getting lost. he knows where to find me. and he knows what to do just in case you know, he gets lost. i get a little nervous though when he lets go of my hand and run away from me... but even though he does that, he never forgets to hold my hand when we are walking... i can't believe that he's already aware of everything and has an initiative to do things most kids do not do, like, setting the table, help me pick up toys, shoes, etc. .. he's indeed a really smart kid, but sometimes he gets a little too carried away when he's playing.

when i arrive from the office, the moment i open the door, markee gives me kisses and big tight hugs saying did you miss me?.. AHH.. i love being a MOM!

back before i am not yet a mom, i once told myself that i will never spank my kids. i won't be harsh when it comes to disciplining. here comes trouble.. it didn't work! "MAHIRAP PALA!"i asked myself, how will i discipline my child without giving him spanky? its hard but a mom's gotta do..what a mom's gotta do. even if i give him spanks, at the end of the day, i make him realize that what he did was wrong, and his fault why he got spank, later on he says SORRY. this is why i am so proud of my son.. because he understand and listen.

a mother's LOVE is FOREVER.

the most awaited movie ever (for markee) teenage mutant ninja turtles! he loves TMNT even before the movie was released.. i dont know what made him love TMNT so much.. but his favorite is Donatello. i didn't know all their names until this little guy told me its Michael Angelo, Raphael, Donatello and Leonardo (see! i know it now!) after the movie, we went to their favorite pizza parlor, SHAKEY''S

last august, we also went to vigan, you know just for some family fun away from our city.. vigan is a must see city because its a world heritage site. and now its officially recognized as one of the seven wonder cities.

last intramural markee was picked by their adviser to be the escort to represent their section, i was shocked because before, markee was really very very very shy.. and i doubt he'll go up the stage and speak up to the mic! and he did! i was so proud him, though he did not win, he will always be a winner for us.

October
when i was a kid, i grew up here in ilocos province not experiencing halloween, i only experienced it once in one of my cousin's subdivision in manila.. that's why i really really want to live in manila.. but my dad then won't allow me.

and then "araria" (ghost, multo in tagalog" festival was born! its a fiesta for during oct. 30-31 until nov. 2 i think..

during his early age, i dressed up him as a pumpkin when he was 1 y/o and robin hood when he was 3..

this was also kylene's first trick or treat! look how excited and happy they are!

November

just after markee's birthday, he experienced scouting for the very first time.. maybe the next few years it will be camping.. hmmm.

here it goes again! i got really nervous when they told me their going have a dance presentation on their investiture and re-dedication ceremony (kid scout), last December 2013, they had to perform in public, when its the preschoolers turn to shine, markee froze infront of the audience, he never danced, i asked him why he did not and told because i don't know all the people, they are strangers! haha my silly markee! but this time he did... ! that's why i am very happy that he already overcome his stage fright.

this dance was by far the longest dance i ever watched markee with.. haha! i was disapponted because he was at the back and i cant barely see him perform. but he was more graceful than the ones who is in front.. while dancing, most of the other kids are playing and blocking markee the whole time.. but it was a fun experience for him because i know my shy little markee came out of his shell..

this was their homeroom Christmas party, they had to do the Christmas alphabet. he was the letter M! he told me, i am the letter M ma! because i am letter M, M is for markee.! i am very proud of my baby and what he has become.. he memorized his line very great!

we only go to manila once in a year, because he don't have time because i have work and i just can't leave my paper works, no one can back me up.. that's why i can't just file a leave of absence..i might get fired dumping up all my files. anyhoo,

here comes the recognition, so proud of my markee because he's being recognized with 5 medals! i can't believe it.. last meeting i was too nervous markee might not get any medals.. he was top 8 (thanks for the info teacher grace!).. not bad! atleast his part of the top 10. too bad nursery pupils don't have deserving pupil awards. still proud of my baby though! waaaaaa! i can't explain the feeling but i am really happy for my son! keep up the good work babe! mama and papa loves you very much!

haha what do you think? i'm 25 years young .. :)

i got pregnant on the age of nineteen but i had my birthday during my pregnancy so.. when i gave birth to markee, i was already twenty. :)

NO.. haha.. but i am still in a relationship with markee's father.. we're getting there dear, no worries! charot!

4. do you work?

yes, i'm a government employee.

5. what do you do aside from blogging and work?

being a mom of course! everyday is family day! and i always watch youtube a ton.. that's where i get ideas on what to post here, i would like to be a youtuber, but i still need some encouragement.. :)

6. how did you handle your relationship when it was almost come to an ending?

haha isn't that a little personal? but since i blogged about it before, the answer is, i don't want a broken family, maybe it left a scar, but we are family. i will always do everything for them.. so i forgave him! don't worry he's a good boy now.. :)

i don't really shop here at ilocos, i shop online! in manila, i usually shop at F21, h&m, zara and mango but if i need to shop, i shop at department stores, for me, g by guess, penshoppe and bench.. yun lang! most of my clothes kasi are given by my grangran from the states. so yun...

iphone 5, but shifting to an android very soon!

what can i say about glamour box (eye love it)?

i really love it! I am still learning to love makeup and this box made me love makeup more! i hope the next box is more exciting!

what i like about everything inside the box?

what i like about the Teal Malachite Goddess Pencil is that it's very pigmented and it's very easy to use unlike other eye pencil I've tried plus it's sumdgeproof and can last for hours. for the Goddess Mascara, i have a very long eye lashes, and the mascara made it more longer and bolder, i love it because its very black and the brush of the mascara brushes my eye lashes very well, other brands i use makes my lids itchy but this one doesn't,so i highly recommend this mascara. its perfect for everyday use. as for The Facial Bamboo Mitt, i don't really use this kind of things to my face, it says that it scrubs dead cells away and guarantees to leaves skin soft and smooth after each use. hmmm maybe i should give it a try! The Sharpener is a little bit expensive but tried it and it worked very fine, like other sharpeners do. Ankh Necklace, i love it because its versatile, you can use this accessory for your ootd's especially plain ones!

i highly recommend glamour box because for just Php 695.00 you can enjoy more than Php 3000.00 worth of products. it's a steal if your a probinsyana like me, makeups here in my city are hard to find..and at the mall, they only have few good brands to choose. so this box is very convenient for me because i can try other brands i barely know...

I've been wanting to write a what's in my bag post, ever since forever.. I've posted something like this last 2012 i think.. well, this, now, is an update of my what's in my bag version 2.0.

hahaha..

anyhoo. here it goes..

i am very big fan of JUICY COUTURE and their daydreamer bags.. i remember the first time i had one..it was heaven sent.. and it didn't stop there .. it went on and on and on..

this juicy couture Malibu mini daydreamer bag is my go-to bag. what i like about it is because it's black and can go with anything i wear. you can carry it as a handbag or a sling! that's why i love it so much. it is the right size for me because it can fit everything i need.. especially when i'm at work.

inside my bag, i have 2 pouches. 1 for my make-up and 1 for my whatnot's.. haha..

ARUN power bank - you'll never know when your battery is running low. i just recently bought this, and it's doing great, will totally recommend this brand to my friends.
cable charger - no cable, no charge!
small notebook - i always bring with me small notebooks for me to write on.. for my bills, grocery list, things-to-do etc.
rosary - someone gave me a rosary, and ever since he gave it to me, i always put it in my bag
coin purse - you know, for coins! haha
wallet - my trusty Kate spade wallet, i usually like pink.. but everyone has it.. so why not try the yellow.. :)
keys - i never go out without my keys, i need my keys! especially when i am out alone, and my two boys went some somewhere, i don't wanna wait them up just to open the door.
bobby pins - you'll never know when you're going to need them!
ouchless goody hair ties - when im working, i don't like my hair falling down to face.. so i bring hair ties with me..
alcogel hand sanitizer - BECAUSE you'll need them everytime!
flash drive - my company is kinda kuripot, they don't really have their own flash drive so i have to bring mine.
iphone - who doesn't bring their phone everywhere? .. i own an iphone 5.. not planning to buy an iphone 6 because it's beyond my budget.. sticking to this until i need to replace them.

makeup kit!

before, i don't really like makeups, until i had breakouts and left pimple scars on my cheeks.. so i decided why don't i just give it a try... maybe foundations and concealers won't hurt.. and then i gave in! my kuya's girlfriend taught me the basics on how to put an everyday makeup. now, i can do my own make up... makeups are so addicting! i even subscribed at glamour box!(i'll be talking about glamour box on my next post)

i always been crafty ever since i can remember, i always do DIY projects at home.

back in high school we have a TLE subject and i always choose handicrafts over food technology.

it feels like when i'm doing artsy fartsy stuff, my magic hands come alive. :)

anyhoo,

the other night, i saw boxes lying around the house.

by looking at it. it gave me an idea.!

bought me some gift wrapping papers

got my scissors and some scotch tape.

and tada!

an ultimate storage box!

its easy!

what you need:

boxes (preferably the ones that you can put on a table; not too big not too small )
gift wrapping papers (cute ones)
scissors
scotch tape
plastic cover (optional)

first cut the excess part of the box that covers the box.

wrap the box with a gift wrapper

wrap the excess box cover

put the excess box cover in the middle to make it a divider

tadah! and your done.

you can also wrap it with plastic cover so that it can be easily cleaned

and dont get wet.

easy!

you can put whatever you want.

well i don't think so.. :)

he behaves well at class.

he behaves well at home.

but when its playtime he gets a little carried away,

sometimes, he pushes kids, kick and even punch them. but i don't think he'll do that on purpose.

my son watches different kinds of cartoons and movies.

he loves spiderman and the ninja turtles a ton!

sometimes, he acts like them when we are playing.

maybe he's just defending himself or they're just playing around.

i always wanted to learn how to cook..

when i was a teenager my mom would always teach me how.. but back in the days when night outs and strolling exists in my life , i wasn't a home buddy.. i was always out with my friends. lakwatsera as they call me.

but now that i am a mom.. i have to have my own recipes .. i ask for my mom's recipes but i still do my own thing when i am in my own kitchen :) whenever i cook.. i don't want to be watched and i don't want anyone bothering me, well, except for nikolai. :)

i'll be calling this krisna's kitchen diaries. i'll be blogging about food for kids to love.

anyhoo,

my boys love burgers especially when its home made. who doesn't love a burger? a person who doesn't love burgers has never tasted one. :)

when the school told me they we're having a cook fest this nutrition month and our team come up with an idea that each parent has to bring a dish that is made of banana blossom. so my mom gave me this idea how about make a burger out of a banana blossom well with other ingredients of course not a banana blossom itself. :) searched through the internet and its all over the place. hmmm oh well! mine taste good!

ingredients:

ground pork
garlic (minced)
onions (minced)
salt
pepper
flour
eggs
banana blossom (minced)

Procedure:

Combine the ground pork, minced garlic, onions and banana blossom. after combining it, add the flour. mix it well. season with salt and pepper, and mix gently just until combined.

In a nonstick frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Cook patties until browned and cooked through, about 2 minutes per side. Serve on rolls with lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, and mustard, if desired.

happy thoughts..

last monday was markee's first day.. and it was raining so hard. thank god i'm always prepared.. i always bring with me my trusty umbrella.

glad to see markee on his first day, he was so excited.. and he was well behaved.

according to his new teacher "he always do what he is told" wow. that's a first. he only listens to me.. haha well atleast.. uhhh my baby is growing so fast.

when i come home from work, i always ask markee.. "what did you do at school?"

he starts to tell me stories.. telling me how his day went with his classmates and friends.. and new friends..

and what he learned that day. he never fails to surprise, amaze and make me smile.

i am so thankful and blessed to have a cute little boy like you my baby!

i hope you'll stay the same my little sunshine!

sometimes.. markee is a shy little boy. but i got surprised when i brought him to my office with me, he was mingling with my colleagues.. he keeps on asking questions. before, he didn't want to talk to anybody at work. i don't know what got in to him and he burst out.. out of his shell. some kids are hard to handle.. lucky me.. my son listens to me. i always make sure markee is polite to everyone. i always remind him everything. like his papa. :) tsk boys! its never too early to teach your kids good manners. :)

my brother once told me, never to bribe markee with something he wants so that he'll do whatever you say.. and never to spoil markee too much.. which is true.. i never spoiled markee. when he wants something he got to earn for it. i always tell him.. when you do good.. you'll get a reward. but i don't reward him with toys. i take him to a fast food he wants or let him play with the computer or let him play outside or we'll go and watch a movie or go the mall. simple things that make him happy. we only buy him toys during Christmas and his birthday, sometimes when we have extra money we buy him inexpensive toys. all of his toys are gifts.. sometimes from his uncle, aunts and grandmas. which i don't want to tolerate. i always tell them not buy toys for markee.. books and clothes will do..

due to the rainy and lazy weather we stayed at home and watched TV cooked and made snacks for everyone. :) played couch potato all day.

this little boy right here is excited for his first day of school as nursery

summer is finally over..

but the heat here in ilocos is unbelievably immeasurable. :(

its so hot.. it can burn your skin even if you're underneath an umbrella

summer is fun.. but too much heat kills.

anyhoo,

he wanted to watch XMEN but it was full so we watched Maleficent instead.

good movie.!

i love it.

sometimes a person can only be mean if you hurt them.

they seek for revenge..

its hard to regain trust if you're holding back to the past.

I'm happy that we are happy.

its about time we give and then take.

i never wished for a very perfect relationship.

normal is boring. and we are weird.. oh no! i am weird.

markee is really hard to handle now that he is 4 years old.

but being a mom at 24 is fun and hard at the same time.

i am a working mom.. i don't have my 24/7 time with markee.. but usually during my breaks and weekend

we always make sure we bond.

before i wasn't a mommy yet.

i always told myself "i will never spank my child, whatever happens"

but!!!

i didn't know disciplining a child is harder than i thought..

when markee does something i dont want.. there are times that he listens but most of the time he doesn't.

and i constantly remind him everything don't do this.. don't do that.. thank god he listens to me..

but my husband is having a hard time when it comes to letting markee listen to him

when markee and marklaw are together it's always play time. maybe that's why markee doesn't believes in his papa..

i'll share you a my disciplining skills. haha

when i and my siblings were a kid.. when never got spanked by our dad.

he discipline us by "facing wall and standing in a corner" for an hour or two until we realize that we were wrong.

and tada! that's how we punish markee but in a different way

since he's still young, i let him sit on an green ottoman..

that's the reason why when i start to talk and scold him. he immediately stops what he's doing..

he may be a hard headed boy, but one thing more

when you are in a public place..

don't scold/spank your child when there are people around..

you don't like your kid to feel embarrassed in front of his friends..

do it privately.. maybe he'll realize what he did was wrong..

my soul sister.

i have two brother's and a sister, but my sister and i didn't shared the most common things, and you know she is half-gendered.. well if that's a word. i dont want to call her anything but that. the only thing we have in common is we both drink a lot of beer and never get drunk.well a little tipsy. but not that really drunk. well, beer is always in our blood. it shows.. :) eversince we grew up, our family bonds over drinking sessions. my mom even prepares a lot of pulutan when my brother come home to visit..

anyhoo, i have this friend..

i knew her through her fiancee klyde, who is a very good friend of mine..

we met at their house while we are having some FEW beers! (PS i dont have a drinking problem, i only drink OCCASIONALLY)

and ever since i posted a quote, and accidentally tagged everyone i knew at facebook and didn't notice i tagged her. we got closer and closer everyday. because we shared a lot of things in common..

one day, she invited to a mommies night out.. and i always make my brother to come tag along with us.. markee and kylene were only months old back then.. and that didn't stop there.. it become every week.. every month.. and markee and kylene grew.. they were so hard to leave at night. night outs were hard to happen. when the kids finally started studying.. of course! we decided we'd enroll the kids at the same school. luckily, i got assigned with another job and i got the chance to bring markee to school.

me and her share a lot of things. she became one of my best closest girlfriend.!

her name is jesha. :)

knowing jesha, she can be nice and mean at the same time!

that's why i call her my soul sister..because we are alike!

we always get that "is she your sister?" thing..

i know right.

we may be dont look a like.. but we think the same..

its a bestfriend feeling.. when you know its her.. its her.. :)

whenever i have problems, she's there to back me up. whether its love life or family.. i always tell her everything. when i call her in the middle of the night.. and ask her if i can come over, even if she's sleepy..

she never hesitate to accompany me..

she was always there for me..

she saw me cry

she saw me laugh..

if we were a couple..

i would marry her!

haha..

her best advice is

i thank god for giving me a good friend like her.. i can't even picture myself without her in my life..

because very SOON.. they'll be migrating to the US.

maybe we need to get hurt first and feel the pain.. just to know how precious our life and family is..

well i guess.

i wish i didn't felt the pain..

because it stressed me out..

felt so down

felt giving up..

but i didn't gave up.

i stood and fought for what's right. and what is ours ..

if i was as bad and mean like i was before back when i was still studying. i would've given her.. her greatest nightmare but i didn't because im changed.. and im nice.. im a mom and i have priorities.. unlike her, i will not.. i mean i will never hurt someone unless! you hit me first..well enough said.. but im praying for her.. i hope god will lead her the right way.. i hope.. she wont ruin another family.. like what she did to mine..

the past just made us stronger..

i always look back and reminisce.. but i always think not only twice but many times as possible.. what matter is.. we are happy.. perfectly imperfect but always contented on what we have.. if ever it will happen again ..well, every girl knows what will happen next.

that was a long introduction.

anyhoo, me and my love went to baguio.. for our advance anniversary celebration.. it wasn't planned but it happened .. well it was GREAT!

i never felt this happy when he told me, we are going to celebrate it in baguio.. with our click city family of course!.. I've been enjoying myself being with them .. now i understand why my love always wants to go there.. :) always makes me laugh!

and we were like couples on on a road trip..

we travelled in 3 groups.
in our group, there are 2 couples including us..
and 3 single and looking for someone boys. haha

my love and his buddies rode their motorcycles.
and 4 of us was tagged along at the van.

and yes i know.. boys are so brave.

i wish i'm brave like them.

we arrived at baguio 11-ish AM

we stayed at BRENTVILLE APARTELLE

which is good if your travelling with a low budget.

all the 7 in our group stayed in the same room.

the room was inexpensive

after resting..

we went out for an early dinner.. because we haven't had lunch yet and we were too hungry.

this is why we do not have pictures while eating.. because we were so hungry as long as the food lands on the table.. we immediately eat the food like a lion. haha well not literally.

after eating, since its starting to get dark.

we decided to go at SM

went shopping for markee..

and mr. grumpy got mad at me because it took me hours shop.

after shopping.. its night life time.. this is why me and hubby decided not to bring markee with us because i have to watch markee while he enjoys the night. and you cannot bring kids in a bar.

me, ate mel and her boyfie kuya jude came a little late. because we were too tired..

instead of having dinner, we had beers and pulatans. haha

didn't get drunk at all.. maybe its because its cold.

it was a fine chilly night.

i wish its cold in our province. :)

i want to say, DONT GROW UP TOO FAST MY LOVE..

but as the days come and go.. everything happens for a reason.

what happened in the past gave me the courage to blog again.

and then i thought of markee joining my bandwagon. (but obviously he's taking over my blog.)

why not right? i am his mom. and i dress him up.

little girls aren't the only fashionable kids on the block. LITTLE DUDES TOO!

living in province that has only 1 teenie weenie mall and some small department stores is very HARD

i can't hardly think that i could find any good pieces for markee here in ilocos..

ilocos norte is a 12-hour drive to manila by land. and going to manila is really hard to happen. because i always work on sundays (yes im a overtime whore) and its a waste of money if i go to manila and shop. someone could do that for me.

lucky me those "shopping malls" have some good clothes.

BUT! finding a good loafers and boat shoes here gave me a rough time. i almost went to all the malls here and i only found a cheap but good quality and its OK.
