The most effective and fast remedy of gout can be found in your very kitchen. Trust me-- I am no evangelist but I've proved it myself and I bet my right arm that this will work on you, too!

By the way, what is gout?

Gout is one of the most painful forms of arthritis. It occurs when too much uric acid builds up in the body. The buildup of uric acid can lead to:

1. Sharp uric acid crystal deposits in joints, often in the big toe
2. Deposits of uric acid (called tophi) that look like lumps under the skin
3. Kidney stones from uric acid crystals in the kidneys.

For many people, the first attack of gout occurs in the big toe. Often, the attack wakes a person from sleep. The toe is very sore, red, warm, and swollen.Gout can cause pain, swelling, redness, heat and stiffness in joints. In addition to the big toe, gout can affect the insteps, ankles, heels, knees, wrists, fingers and elbows.

A gout attack can be brought on by stressful events, alcohol or drugs, or another illness. Early attacks usually get better within 3 to 10 days, even without treatment. The next attack may not occur for months or even years.

Gout treatment could be very expensive and necessary to maintain. But the good news is, there are very effective, purely natural and fast way to treat gout, and i mean FAST!

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 85px; height: 130px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_g_n7_tt7UXU/S01Y3k2zmHI/AAAAAAAAAO0/bZybpZIxPYs/s200/acv.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5426090837860915314" />]

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 145px; height: 108px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_g_n7_tt7UXU/S01aFMmXs-I/AAAAAAAAAO8/3J3EM6yrfkU/s200/cherry.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5426092171379323874" />

I dont have financial ties with this product, but it just happens that I am using Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) with mother. Dilute 4 tbps of ACV and 2 tbsp of honey in a glass of water and drink it after meals 4x a day. In the midst of a gout attack, a friend of mine suggested this and despite my discomfort in walking, I ran into a department store. An hour after drinking the concoction and the pain had diminished significantly. This and atleast 20 pcs of cherries in the midst of gout attack and I am well and good in three days! Yes, a miracle but it did happen!

Well, ACV has been working in wonders since Hipocrates, while Half a kilo (one pound) of wild or black cherries, eaten as fresh fruit or drunk as juice, will help get over a gout attack. The cherries contain anthocyanocids that dramatically reduces uric acid. Its so effective that even canned or preserved cherries work the same!

As gout attack subsides, continue as maintenance 3 tbps of ACV in 1 glass of water 3x a day and 6 pcs of cherries. I bet your gout will then be history.

This works for me guys and keep in touch if this works for you, too!

Hair loss in women

In almost every respect, the basic biology of hair growth is the same in both men and women. So both sexes are equally prone to being affected by the side-effects of various drugs or by some of the diseases and disorders that can cause hair loss. However, because women are more enthusiastic about dieting, there is a greater risk that good standards of nutrition are not maintained. There is good clinical evidence that a failure to eat an adequate and balanced diet over any length of time affects hair quality. Crash diets are particularly damaging. At first, this damage may show up as a loss of sheen - the sebaceous glands associated with the follicles produce less natural oil. But an iron deficiency will accelerate loss.

Fortunately, this is fairly easily treated. All that is required is balancing the diet but keeping the portions small. That way, people can lose weight and keep their hair. The other more common reasons revolve around hormonal imbalance. During and immediately after pregnancy, many women experience hair loss. This is perfectly natural and there is no need to take any remedial action. As the body's natural chemical balance is restored, hair growth will resume. However, allied to a hormone imbalance is the fact that stress will cause hair loss. Any trauma, physical or emotional, can trigger loss. A difficult labor, accidental injury or stress because of a death in the family, divorce or some other event will often cause a temporary loss of hair. As the stress levels diminish, hair growth will slowly resume. It is just a matter of being patient.

Finally, it is only fair to make a distinction between hair loss and hair damage. Some women damage their hair by using chemicals, dye or excessive heat to color, straighten or curl their hair. The fact that hair is breaking off when damaged is not the same as natural baldness. Similarly, if there is excessive traction on the hair, say, pulled back into a tight ponytail, this can also cause loss. In the most common natural condition, the scalp follicles are affected by the excess production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT). The only real difference is in the result.

Whereas men who suffer from androgenic alopecia develop a characteristic pattern on baldness, women simply lose the density of hair distributed over the scalp with only slight loss of hair on the front hairline. This thinning accelerates with age and, in older women can allow sight of the scalp. When this causes embarrassment, women affected will resort to wearing a wig in cooler climates. Where it is hot and there would be excessive sweating, women usually wear a scarf. The standard treatment for men is propecia which prevents the conversion of testosterone into DHT. Thus, in theory, this drug should work well in women. This is, however, subject to some controversy and the mainstream view is that women do not benefit. However, some doctors are prepared to prescribe propecia off-label, i.e. the FDA does not prohibit this use, it merely fails to formally approve it.

Scent-sationalize!!!

Let us bear in mind that a neat and sexy look is not all that gives us oozing sex appeal. First, we have to feel it. And feeling of course includes smelling.

There is nothing that makes men crazier and seduced than a sexy and arousing smell. I make it a point that as I go out to work, I feel that fresh, and will be as fresh as I go home at night. I have this few tips and tricks:

1. Make bathing an everyday must.

Some people just dont bathe everyday, and I cant understand why. Bathing makes us feel fresh, smell fresh. You just have to choose light-scented soap and shampoos if you want to highlight your cologne later. Strong-scented shampoos and soaps may contradict your perfume and create negative effect. Moreover, pamper yourself with body salts once in a while, at least once a week to maintain suppleness and clear skin. Personally I prefer checking this site for the products I need.

2. Use deodorant or anti-perspirant.

I think I need to emphasize this because some people really hates using deodorant because of its sticky feels. Well, the good news is that there are lots of deodorant now that would not give that effect. There are those in gel, powder and lotion, and could keep you fresh all day. I tried this tea tree and I highly recommend it because it has this faint sweet smell and the works. We really need to use lightly-scented deodorant so that it would not contradict with the sexy smell we would like to create later.

3. And now... the yummy, sexy effect.

The most important part is choosing the right perfume. The right one should not be strong, just sweet and faintly fruity. Spray some under your earlobes, throat, pulses and some at your naked body, just so that when you sweat, instead of that salty-sour sweat smell, you will smell faintly fruity instead. I love this one from Muelhen's. Its the kind that all you have to do is stand innocently in a corner and men just cant help but smell the faintly sweet-fruitty you and go crazy!

Good luck, girl!

A Clear, Flawless Face Gets the Guy

It doesn’t need a research or study that between two girls, the one with the clear and flawless face gets the attention of a guy. Or guys. Guys have this automatic habit of looking at the girl with a perfect complexion and imagining doing some really sweet stuff to that girl. It is flattering to be the recipient, of that attention, and not of disgust. Especially if you have really this serious acne problem.

The good thing is that nowadays, acne can be treated fast and with wonderful results. You really have to check Acne Complex that offers a great product that can give you literally new and glowing skin! And with every change of year, we look unto ourselves and reflect if we did good during the previous year, and what is more to achieve in the new year.

Feeling sexy inside reflects outside. When you feel good inside, people around you can sense the energy and turns them on. So I will be giving some of my tips that really helps me feel positive, sexy and vibrant inside and out:

1. Reflect yourself.

Have some private moment and strip naked in front of the mirror. Well, when I am the one doing this, it really gives wonder, seeing the beauty in a woman’s curves. It turns me on. It makes me feel beautiful and sexy, and as almost as immediately the feeling will reflect in my face, my posture, my personality!

But this trick could not be effective to other women. As my chubby friend say, “ hey, it may makes you feel good, but If Im going to look at my nakedness in front of the mirror, I may get hysterical and more depressed . If you belong to her league, follow these:

• Take note of the flabby parts we want to work out for. This is important because there may be unlikely parts of your body, but there could also be some “gifts” in there that we need to keep. Working out may result some improvement to some parts, but may have negative effects to others.

2. Plan your workout.

The best work out plan could be given by gym experts. You could enroll yourself to the nearest gym to have their advise, although if you are aware what parts of your body needs it, you can do it at the comfort of your home. You can check for gym equipments such as the basics, which are very affordable and can even be purchased on installment plans.

3. Plan a healthy diet.

What you eat is what you are. So it is really important that you maintain a healthy diet. Say no to preserved and canned goods; go for the fresh especially vegetables and fruits.

With proper diet, exercise and perspective, you will be surely a hit in the year 2009!!!

Have a Worry-free Holidays With Grannies at Home

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 1px; height: 1px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_g_n7_tt7UXU/SVrNvAqV9yI/AAAAAAAAANI/XVZFOZMzvRw/s200/spaceball.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5285763320187844386" />

It is really hard to enjoy the holidays and party here and there when we will be leaving our beloved grannies at home, alone and helpless. But it will be cruel to ourselves too, and even grannies would not approve it, if we miss all the fun.

Well, the good thing is that we need not choose between both when we can make our holidays worry-free when it comes to looking after our beloved grandmas and grandpas. All we need is to make the atmospher safe for them while we are away. Here are some tips for starters:

1.See to it that they are settled first before leaving. Like, does grandma need to be bathe first? It will be more reassuring if we leave them tuck in bed.

2. Make sure that there are enough food for them. Of course it will be really hard enjoying parties when at the back of our mind we are worrying if granny still has something to eat. And not just anything to eat but healthy, quality food which also accords with their health and are not prohibited by their doctors.

3. Check the doors if they are locked, incase bad elements want to take advantage your absence. But make sure it would not be hard for granny to exit just in case the need arises. Just in case.

4. It is important that you talk some neighbors to keep an eye at the house. Moreover, it is highly advised that granny should have medical alarm. There is this wonderful alarm in the market which so far is the most state of the art and really provides what we long wanted: a fall detection and GPS tracking wander alerts. It comes with an alert mobile system that can give grannies help anywhere around the world if they need it, even if they could not press the emergency button. With such a large market to aim at, there are a vast number of different miracle cures. Take this tablet, rub this into your scalp, stimulate your head into life with electrical current, etc. There are as many treatments as there are suckers to buy them. The reality is that there's only one product that works. It's called propecia and only helps men. So far, there's no treatment to cure hair loss in women. One of the reasons why the scams get so much traction is because of the various myths. Now's the time to tell fact from fiction.

Myth: you inherit hair loss from your mother and her family.
Modern research confirms a probable genetic cause for hair loss, but it applies to both sides of the family, sometimes missing out a generation (or two).

Myth: women do not lose their hair.
About 25% of women in the US have the genetic trigger for hair loss. Unlike men, there is no fixed pattern. It tends to be a general thinning across the head so it's slightly less obvious.

Myth: hair loss is color-blind
In theory, you inherit baldness regardless of race or ethnicity, but there's some evidence that African-Americans and Asians lose hair slightly less often.

Myth: stress does not cause hair loss
Physical stress, say from going through a surgical operation or a difficult child birth, can cause hair loss. There's also evidence that soldiers can lose their hair during combat. At a slightly lower level, some students can shed hair as they approach important examinations. In almost all cases, the hair grows back.

Myth: massage and stimulation with electricity prevents hair loss.
Vigorous massage can damage hair and pull it out. Further, the fact that the flow of blood may improve has nothing to do with the growth of hair. Blood is not fertilizer for hair.

Myth: washing your hair every day increases hair loss.
Every day, a human sheds an average of one hundred hairs. If you wash, this can prompt most of them to fall out at the same time so it looks worse than it is. You can damage the hair with the wrong chemicals for dyeing or straightening your hair, and vigorous rubbing with a towel can pull hair out. Using a hair drier with the heat too high can leave the hair brittle. Pulling the hair into a tight ponytail can pull hair out. Other than that, there's no effect.

Myth: too much dandruff is a sign your hair will fall out.
Dandruff is actually a fungus and there's no link between the itchy irritation it causes and your hair falling out.

There is no Harm missing a little sleep

We all go through times in our lives when sleep seems difficult. Some times, we just can't drop off. Other times, we wake early and can't get back to sleep. So we walk around the next day looking and feeling like one of the living dead. When evening comes, we drop exhausted in bed and sleep comes again. These occasional nights are nothing to worry about.

Insomnia is a more persistent loss of sleep over weeks, months and, in some cases, years. If this does creep up on you, seeking help and advice earlier rather than later is best. But before you go and beat down the door of your local healthcare provider, just a few words of advice. Many people will tell you eight hours of sleep every night is the minimum requirement. This is nonsense. Everyone is different. Your body tells you what amount of sleep is appropriate for your lifestyle. Some people do well on four or five hours a night. Others find they can't function properly unless they get nine or ten hours of uninterrupted slumber.

The key point is whether your ability to work is being affected. Stop listening to what others tell you. What does your own body tell you? If you're happy and well-adjusted in your life, your relationships are calm and even-tempered, and your boss approves of your performance at work, there's no need to worry. You're doing well and there's no need to force more. But if everything is falling apart, you need help. The first response is that you buy ambien, whether on prescription in your local drugstore or online where it's cheaper. This is a reliable and safe drug to take over a short time. The strategy is to give you a series of nights with good sleep. But ambien should not be considered a long-term solution to the problem. If at all possible, you should find ways of coping without becoming dependent on a tablet. In the case of insomnia, there are a number of simple steps you can take to begin relearning the art of sleep. Once you start feeling stronger through the use of ambien, it's time to make the changes. If your medical insurance covers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or you can afford to pay for private counseling, sign up. This form of therapy is simple and effective in teaching you how to sleep again. If this is unaffordable, stop napping during the day, fix a time in the evening for going to bed, make the bedroom dark and as soundproof as possible, look at improving comfort both in the mattress and temperature, and so on. These are simple and easily managed steps to recover sleep. If you still find you are tired, have a second quick burst of ambien and then go back to habit building without drugs.

Watch your weight

Forgive me but I'm something of a plain speaker and I'm writing about an issue that can be dangerous to your health. Millions of people around the world are obese. Tens of millions are seriously overweight. There is absolutely clear evidence that people who are overweight run the risks of Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. The longer you are overweight, the higher the risk of early death. So why are you overweight? The answer could not be more simple. You are overweight both because you eat too much sweet or fatty food, and because you refuse to exercise. The remedy? You have to eat smaller portions of more healthy food and exercise. This represents a major lifestyle change. It sounds so simple but most overweight people are food junkies. When you start, you find you're hooked on all the wrong kinds of food. Try changing the diet and your body develops withdrawal symptoms. For the first time in years, you feel hunger. There's a remedy. You can <a href="<a href=">http://www.phentermineguidance.com/">buy phentermine online (where it's cheapest). As the longest running appetite suppressant on the market, it has proved itself as effective to keep the hunger pangs at bay. So, while you go through the withdrawal period and your stomach slowly contracts, growing more used to smaller amounts of food inside, you take phentermine. This tricks your conscious mind into thinking you are full. All you have to do is to control the reflex action to snack. Like everything important in life, losing weight is all about having the motivation to keep going. Some join clubs or circles to get the emotional support they need. Others buy phentermine and wait out the pain of hunger. Without the help and support of family, friends and colleagues, you will probably have relapses. There is no need to feel guilt. Just pick yourself up again and get back on the wagon. The weight will slowly come off - it will be faster if you exercise as well. I deliberately started off the article with a frightener. But the medical evidence is clear. An early death is waiting for most people who remain overweight. If this fear is not a good motivator for you, keep on with the phentermine as directed by your physician. No matter how you do it, you should make actual weight reduction your highest priority in life. You owe it to your family if not to yourself.

Put your socks on over your feet, then go to bed as usual.

Step3

When you wake up the lotion should be fully soaked into your feet and then go about your day as usual, repeat for as many nights as you like and i promise your feet will feel silky smooth in no time! :)

Treat Dry, Flakey Lips

It is usually pretty easy to know if your lips are dry or cracked. However, other symptoms similar to cracked lips can often be mistaken for this condition. Dry lips are indicated by the following symptoms:

Frequent lip licking.

Peeling of the lips (flaky skin).

Cracks or bleeding from the sides of the mouth.

Sensitive lips that appear otherwise healthy

Painful lips.

Open sores, marks or similar symptoms.

Unless you are a doctor you should not try to professionally diagnose your dry lip problem. That said there are many causes of cracked and dry lips that you can eliminate when trying to find the cause of your symptom. These include:

Climate change. Extremes in weather can cause your lips to dry out (cold weather) or become dehydrated (hot weather).

Sun damage. Just as the rest of your skin can be damaged by the sun, so can your lips. Yes, you can have tanned lips, and they hurt!

Wind exposure. Leaving your lips unprotected in a strong wind can cause skin damage.

Dehydration. Probably the leading cause of most dry or cracked lips is simple dehydration. If the body does not have enough water the extremities, including the lips, will show that lack first.

Smoking or chewing. Anything you regularly put in contact with your lips can affect their condition.

Vitamin deficiencies. Certain vitamins are critical to maintaining healthy skin and lips.

                         These include:
Vitamin A
Vitamin B
Vitamin C
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin deficiency)

Allergic reactions. Many cracked and dry lips are the result of negative reactions to cosmetics and skin care products. As is so often the case, over use of commercial products can aggravate the very condition they are supposedly designed to cure.

Ill-fitting dentures. Badly placed dentures can also cause lip cracks.

Spicy food causes dry lips in some people.

Side effects. Certain medications have dry or cracked lips as a side effect. If your condition coincides with beginning a new medication regimen, consult your doctor about this possibility.

Skin disorder. Any history of a skin disorder of any kind can be related to dry or cracked lips.

Consider more serious conditions. If none of the above seems to be the cause of your painful lips consider that cracked, dry lips can also be a symptom of far more serious problems. If you suspect that your lip pain originates with a seemingly unrelated ailment, including anything form the list below, consult a doctor.
Diabetes. If you have diabetes or a history of the condition in your family this may be a cause of your lip pain. Symptoms associated with diabetes include:
Frequent urination.
Excessive thirst
Fatigue.
Kawasaki Disease. A serious blood disorder that is a frequent cause of chronic dry lips.
Sjogren's Syndrome. A kind of autoimmune disease which can damage the tear ducts and similar glands is also a common cause of seriously cracked lips.
Macrocytosis. A blood condition where the average red blood cell size is increased to dangerous levels.
Sexually transmitted diseases including HIV and other diseases can be an underlying cause of chronic cracked lips.

Select a treatment

Immediately consult a doctor if you suspect your cracked lips are a symptom of a more serious condition. Your doctor may well refer you to a dermatologist

Do not lick your lips. Licking your lips makes them feel better, but when the saliva evaporates the pain can increase.

Combat dehydration by drinking plenty of fluids.

Apply glossy lipstick.

Apply unflavored lip balm.

Apply petroleum jelly.

Apply aloe vera.

Apply Vitamin E ointment.

Protect your lips from the sun as you would the rest of your skin.

Use a humidifier in your home or office.

Rub a cucumber slice on your lips.

Avoid excessive use of commercial skin treatments including cosmetics and heavily flavored lip balms.

Consider your diet. Increase the amount of needed vitamins in your diet by eating better or by taking vitamin pills.

Tips

If you have flaky skin again, do not rip the skin off. It will cause soreness, and possibly bleeding.
Do not rub your sore lips with a toothbrush, nail file or anything else of that nature.

Warnings
A

lways consult a doctor when diagnosing any medical condition, especially if it does not clear up in a reasonable time under home treatment. In the case of lips a dermatologist is probably the most qualified.

Feel Good All Day- Start Your Day with Chocolates

In most parts of the world chocolate is associated with romance, and not without with good reason. It was viewed as an aphrodisiac by the Aztec's who thought it invigorated men and made women less inhibited. So when it was first introduced to Europe, it was only natural that chocolate quickly became the ideal gift for a woman to receive from an admirer or a loved one, and of course, vice versa".

What does chocolate have in common with lobster, crab legs, pine nuts, walnuts, alcohol, and Viagra? It has a reputation as being an aphrodisiac. Throughout history, there has been a pursuit for sexual success and fertility by various means including foods and pharmaceuticals. The American Heritage College Dictionary defines aphrodisiac s "arousing or intensifying sexual desire...Something such as a drug or food, having such an effect". According to the Food and Drug Administration, "an aphrodisiac is a food, drink, drug, scent, or device that, promoters claim, can arouse or increase sexual desire, or libido" . Myths and folklore have existed since the beginning of time asserting that specific goods, or aphrodisiacs, increase sexual capacity and stimulate desire. Named after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of sexual love and beauty, she was claimed born from the sea and many types of seafood have acquired this reputation. Similarly, chocolate's reputation as an aphrodisiac originated in both Mayan and Aztec cultures over 1500 years ago. Is chocolate really an aphrodisiac? How does it work? Does it produce different effects for men and women?

Made from the cocoa bean found in pods growing form the trunk and lower branches of the Cacao Tree, the earliest record of chocolate was in the South American rainforests around the Amazon and Essequibo rivers. The Mayan civilization worshipped the Cacao Tree for they believed it was divine in origin, thus its Latin name, Theobrom Cacao, means "food of the gods", and "cacao is a Mayan word meaning 'God Food.' Cacao was later corrupted into the more familiar "Cocoa" by Europeans". Since emperors were considered divine, the Aztec emperor Monteczuma drank fifty golden goblets of chocolate a day in order to enhance his sexual ability. Consequentially, when the Spanish Conquistadors discovered chocolate and introduced it to Europe and the rest of the world, it continued to be associated with love.

Chocolate is a very complex food and scientists have investigated it in order to unlock its secrets. When consumed, it has been observed to have affects on human behavior. Chocolate contains two particular substances called Phenylethylamin and Seratonin, both of which serve as means for mood lifting. "Both occur naturally in the human brain and are released by the brain into the nervous system when we are happy and also when we are experiencing feelings of love, passion and/or (dare I say it?) lust. This causes a rapid mood change, a rise in blood pressure, increasing the heart rate and inducing those feelings of well being, bordering on euphoria usually associated with being in love".

When chocolate is consumed, it releases Phenylethylamine and Seratonin into the human system producing the same arousing effects. Since eating chocolate gives an instant energy boost, increasing stamina, it is no wonder why its effects have given it a reputation as an aphrodisiac. Both Phenylethylamine and Seratonin are substances that can be mildly addictive, hence explaining the chocoholic. But women are more susceptible to the effects of Phenylethylamine and Seratonin than men. This illustrates why women tend to be chocoholics more than men.
Three other chemicals and theories are used to explain why chocolate makes people feel "good." "Researchers at the Neuroscience Institute in San Diego, California believe that 'chocolate contains pharmacologically active substances that have the same effect on the brain as marijuana, and that these chemicals may be responsible for certain drug-induced psychoses associated with chocolate craving'". Although marijuana's active ingredient that allows a person to feel "high" is THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), a different chemical neurotransmitter produced naturally in the brain called anandaminde has been isolated in chocolate. "Because the amounts of anandamide found in chocolate is so minuscule, eating chocolate will not get a person high, but rather that there are compounds in chocolate that may be associated with the good feeling that chocolate consumption provides".

In the body, anandamide is broken down rapidly into two inactive sections after produced by the enzyme hydrolase found in our bodies. In chocolate, however, there are other chemicals that may inhibit this natural breakdown of anandamide. Therefore, natural anandamide may remain extensively, making people feel good longer when they eat chocolate.

Although chocolate contains chemicals associated with feelings of happiness, love, passion, lust, endurance, stamina, and mood lifting, scientists continue to debate whether it should be classified as an aphrodisiac. "'The mind is the most potent aphrodisiac there is,' says John Renner, founder of the Consumer Health Information Research Institute (CHIRI). 'It's very difficult to evaluate something someone is taking because if you tell them it's an aphrodisiac, the hope of a certain response might actually lead to an additional sexual reaction'". Despite scientific difficulty in proving chocolate an aphrodisiac, it does contain substances that increase energy, stamina, and feelings of well being. The reality is that chocolate makes you feel good and induces feelings of being in love. Everyone appreciates receiving a gift of chocolate from a loved one because it makes you feel loved. Perhaps the historic euphemism associated with chocolate is what really provokes people to feel it is an aphrodisiac.

Learning Yoga Postures Part I

Keeping physically fit (and sexy) requires hard work, and sometimes even starving oneself. Moving on is not at easy as moving along, but here is a nice article from www.Drphil.com on how to easily get along:

There's no question that breakups can be painful, and that it's difficult to trust and love again. But there are ways to get past the pain. Here is some of Dr. Phil's advice for healing the heartbreak.

1. In time, it is absolutely vital to put the pain behind you and move forward with your life and love. Otherwise, you are giving away your power to the people who hurt you.

2. Sometimes the relationship you need to rescue is the one with yourself. Moving past a breakup is about you, not your ex.

3. Don't start thinking about being friends right away — if ever. You have to be your own friend first.

4. Grief is a process to go through, not a destination in which to wallow. In a process, you keep putting one foot in front of the other, and each little step is part of your healing.

5. Define your real intentions. Are you trying to move past the breakup, or are you hoping to get back with your ex? You won't move on until you've accepted that the relationship is over.

6. Be careful about the language you use. When you use catastrophic terms like "nightmare," "terrible," and "horrible," you're bound to spend time dwelling on the negative. Focus on what you can do.

7. Sometimes you can't get over being hurt until you know you've been heard. Give yourself permission to express your anger and sadness.

8. Don't embarrass yourself or put yourself in a situation where you'll look back and feel humiliated. Driving past your ex's house, making dozens of phone calls or e-mailing non-stop is no way to let go of the past or come out with your head high.

9. Learn to trust again. Whenever you get involved in a relationship, you know there's a risk. Don't let a bad experience keep you from living your life to the fullest. You can go through life suspicious, or loving and laughing.

wow... can we try on these? Please comment!

Dealing with Heartbreak

How do we deal a heartbreak?
Heartache, for me, is the worst illness one could ever have. With the heart is in pain, or suffering, the rest of the system is affected. No body part would act differently as how the heart feels. If I have a headache, I can still be the jolly old me. With stomachache, I can still manage a genuine smile, with a dysmenorrhea, I can still sing. But if my heart is in pain, I am a lifeless rag.

Hey, great. Am I being the usual source of information here? Told you, not part of my system works with a heartache. Please bear me, I need to ramble some...

Bad habits during mensrual period could get you very sick!!!

Yours truly (the blogger) was hospitalized for two weeks. That explains why my blog was not updated for more that a couple of weeks. I thinned a lot (I am not happy with it, I am completely satisfied with my former figurer of 34-27-36), I lost the rosy cheeks and naturally pink lips. And the cause of it all? Bad habits during menstrual periods!

Us girls, especially in our younger years, tend to take our body and health for granted. We take our menstrual period as ordinary days. But here in our country there are some traditions that doctors will call myths, but worth knowing, because sometimes it could get us very sick too. These traditions are passed from generations to generations, and proven helpful for us Filipinas. Since we all have the same anatomy irregardless of our nationality, you may find these tips helpful too:

1. Do not take a shower during your first day of period. It will enlarge your varicose veins and delay the flow of menstruation, resulting to prolonged flow and some pain.
Here in our country, bathing every day is a must. Majority of our population take their 2nd bath before bedtime. So, not taking a shower in one day every month is quite a big deal.
In my case, I took a bath in my first day of period, ride my bike all the way to the office, while cool morning air blows my hair. Before lunch time I experienced severe headache and I chilled. I was hospitalized and the doctors diagnosed it as a simple case of fever. I was discharged five days later when the fever cools down. But when I got home, the headache became unbearable and I bleed too much. My mother said it must be because I bathe on my first day, ride wildly at the bike and let the air penetrates from my skull to my whole system. Her solution? a traditional ritual. very effective. whoever wants to know about it, give me a comment.
2. Do not be hyperactive in your period. Remember that menstruation is part of the cycle that involves the rest of our reproductive system.

Honestly, im still at recovery stage and still not very well. will see you in my next posts. Go girls!

Face Shape - Know your Face Shape for getting best Hair style

Recognizing your face shape is the key to choosing a cut and style that flatter you.

To identify your face, scrape your hair back and look in the mirror at the proportions of your face and its angles. Compare what you see with shapes we described below:

Squoval face shape
You have a wide, open forehead that's quite high. The sides of your face are flat, leading to a square or angled chin.

Round face shape
Your face is of pretty much uniform width all over. Your cheeks are also full.

Heart face shape
Your forehead is wider than the lower half of your face, your chin is tapered or thin and your cheeks are often full.

Long face shape
Long faces are often thin and most of the length is concentrated in the lower half of the face. Angles are pointed.

Aid in Deciding What Hairstyle Suits You

Do you want a new hair style, yet everytime you comes out of the salon, you feel uglier? Choosing a hairstyle needs serious attention because not all hairstyle will have same effect to every one. Most of the time, the shape of your face plays a vital role. Consider these useful tips in deciding what's suitable for you:

Hair cut style for round shaped face - What suits you: your aim is to slim and elongate your face, so avoid styles that end at your jawline as these round off your face further. Go for long styles-straight styles or those with choppy layers are best. If you go short, get sides that are cut onto the face rather than cropped sides. Finally, centre partings a wispy fringe or a long straight side parting instead.

Hair cut style for heart shaped face - What suits you: Balance is the key, so styles that are wider at the bottom than the top are best for you-flicked-out bobs work particularly one that sweeps over one side of the face-this breaks up the forehead and elongates the face.

Hair cut style for long shaped face - What suits you: your aim is to add width to the lower half of your face, so choose looks that are layered from the level of your top lip down. Or try the chin-length bob, which was made for your face shape. You can wear hair up, earlobe and the start of your chin is less than two inches. Otherwise the style will elongate your face and you will look drawn.

Hair cut style for squoval shaped face - What suits you: Anything that softens the angles of your face. Choose styles with soft wispy layers, waves or curls. The best looks for you are those with volume or curls at the crown of will volume or curls at the crown of your head and sleep sides. Side partings will suit you better than centre ones, and you should always avoid blunt cut fringes.

Most important, try t establish a trusted salon and hair designer that will know what hairstyle will look good on you. GO GIRL!

Getting indecent proposals?

Indecent proposal is as real as standout comedians. However, the difference between the two is that the latter is not funny—sometimes even scary and life changing.

First, let us define INDECENT proposals in the Girls’ term. It could be one or all of the following:
A verbal or act of inciting you to get involve with him in a relationship which could be:

1. not normal—say, he is married, or you are married, or both of you are married;
2. there is no physical attraction in your part—say, he is a grossly oversized pig that smells like garlic—in exchange for a) a raise or promotion if he is your boss or supervisor, b) money if he is grossly rich and you obviously needs some cash; c) he owns your rented flat and you find it difficult sometimes to pay the rent and the grocers; d) he is your professor in Algebra who offers you an A or B to cover your D and Es.

Indecent proposal is not a small thing and should not be overlooked. It could be considered abuse or assault. Some of the girls I knew who are getting indecent proposals have lower self-esteem because they think or believe that something is wrong with them, or they are acting improperly, that is why they are getting some. Try to follow these steps:

1. Talk to someone close to you with authority, like your parents, female supervisor or principal. This is the first way to break that pig’s dirty intentions towards you and at the same time having other people watching both of you. In this case, you can feel safe that someone in your side is in the watch.

2. Change environment. If he is a co-worker, change job or working station. If he is at school, transfer to another school. The important thing is that you wont have to see each other anymore, so that 1) he can leave you alone and 2) you can go on with your life and have a fresh new start.

3. Make and show your stance. Decide what kind of a girl you want other people to see you, do your best to project that image, and live your ways accordingly! It’s the sort of way of keeping a standard and at the same time gaining other people’s respect.

4. NEVER BELITTLE YOURSELF. If you are getting indecent proposals, do not think or believe that its your fault. You know that some crazy men have sexual fantasies with female angels they see in church ceilings!

How to tell him that he needs extra mouthwash

Is kissing with your guy a disappointment or sort of gross experience for you? You have tried to endure his kisses because you like him a lot, or you love him, yet his breath smells like garlic or onion, or cigarette, or worse, spoiled leftovers? Yuck… You may love him that much, but more often we girls prefer heartbreak than bad breath. Not to mention, slickly saliva—EWW!!
Well, we need not endure nor torture ourselves in the name of love. You just have to send him the message that—err… he needs extra brushing and mouthwash—and mint gum too! But you need not tell him straight—follow these simple steps:

1. Chew a mint gum while you talk, and offer him some. Playfully comment that you love the smell of mint and you feels like biting him when he smells like mint.
2. Eat together something that smells strong, like garlic or onion pizza. Afterwards, show him how badly you want run to the powder room to gurgle because "you can’t bear yourself having that smell for the rest of the day." Try to offer some too. Make sure you bring a bottle of mouthwash with you.
3. Tell him a make-believe story of someone you supposedly know, but you can’t get near to for at least two meter distance because of his foul breath.

Remember that however ways you tell, him, avoid being offensive! Remember that guys (at least, some) are not as neat as us girls. Sometimes they are not even aware of these kinds of flaws. So it’s up to you girl to make him a better man.

Go girl!

How to Look and Feel Good in your Valentine's Night out

1. Relax, try not to leave everything to the last minute. Plan and prepare what you will wear the day before. Not only will this excite you, you will have more time to relax.
2. Put on some upbeat, fun music that will really get you going and get you psyched for the night. 3. Take a nice warm shower. This will help relax you and leave you feeling refreshed and ready to take on the night. (Not to mention you'll smell great). Shave your legs and armpits if you have stubble. Don't forget deodorant, especially if you're going out dancing.
4. Apply a lightly scented body lotion to dry areas. To capture the night light, apply small amounts of shimmery lotion to your collarbones, shoulder bones, and shins.
5. Do you hair. Start off by applying you favorite styling cream to towel-dried hair and blow-drying it. From there, decide on how you are going to style your hair. You could leave it down and either straighten it or curl it. Add some flair by adding clip-in highlights (found in most beauty care stores). If you're going to be dancing or any other activity that would cause you to sweat, you might want to wear your hair up. Sweep you hair into a low ponytail. Twist it up with bobby pins and curl it. Get creative.
6. It's makeup time. With night in full swing and the lights low you can afford to get a little bit more bold with your makeup than your daytime look. This doesn't give you the license to rock out the clown look. Pick one feature you would like to emphasize, whether it be bold, smoky eyes paired with nude lips or bold lips and just a touch of mascara. Either way, make it look hot.
7. It's time to put on your outfit. Put a lot of thought into your outfit, as it can make or break your look. Black is classic and sophisticated but it doesn't do much for most skin tones and can make you blend in with the crowd. Wearing a bold splash of color can make an instant statement. Pick the right shade and it will do wonders for you. In a club, you can't go wrong with a sexy tank top and jeans with heels. In a bar, you might want a more conservative, but equally sexy shirt.
8. Accessorize! You're almost done. Accessories are a great way to add flair an outfit. Just don't overdo it. One or two items is all you need. Pick things that will compliment your outfit. Dangly earrings always look hot. Also remember your handbag. If you're going to be dancing, a small handhelp clutch or wristlet is much more convenient than a bulky bag.
9. Brush your teeth- in case of a hookup. Don't wanna get caught off guard with smelly breath!
10. Go out and have a great time.

ENJOY!!!

Trying the BIG BANG

I've noticed a new craze in the blogging world recently, named the Big Bang. She used to be the bubbly type of girl, and suddenly she's moody and quite. One day we had a chat, and she revealed the cause of her distress- she is in love to a married man! Well, I am more effective if I write things chronologically, so let us discuss her problem arithmetically:

1. She met the man a couple of years back in an organization. Well, there must be a mutual physical attraction, but both of them were decent people (and the guy is married!), so, no tides stirred.

2. They became involved together in a project, and realized each other’s talents, creativity, sweetness, etc… Their respect and admiration with each other grew… Until the project ended and they part ways as accomplished working partners.

3. After a couple of years, they stumbled with each other through yahoo messenger. They chat as old friends do, rekindle their camaraderie, until the man confessed that he loved her, since he first met her two years ago, and until present! Just imagine how flattered the girl was! And the man, married as he is, is still the sweetest, most gentleman and sexy man who ever confessed of loving her (I don’t want to be in her shoes!).

4. Well, to make things short, they decided to have this elicit long distance relationship. Despite the fact that the man is married and with kids. The good thing is that they are too far from each other that they did not have the chance of even holding each other’s hair (what harm can they get into?).

Gosh, sweat, right? Well, for some people, this is actually not that complicated. Some women would willingly prefer to have this kind of relationship and is not bothered by the fact that she could not really call the man hers, nor have a normal family life with him. My friend asked for advise, or something to say…well, I am not very good at these things, so these are what I told her (DID I SAY THE RIGHT THINGS?? ANYONE PLEASE CORRECT ME!!!)

1. Marriage does not assure loyalty with each other not a partner will not fall in love to other person. Well, if we look at it, marriage is actually only a ritual and paper. Well, maybe the couple becomes more devoted and vows more loyalty to each other. Well, again, those are only promises… (I am not against marriage, I am just citing my own personal views here. Comment, anyone?)

2. In living together after marriage, the couple will each others’ imperfection, which results to discontentment and unhappiness. If a married person is involve in a relationship outside marriage, there is definitely wrong in his marriage. The problem may lie on his/her partner, mostly due to incompatibility.

3. I don’t criticize or judge people, married or single, getting involved with a married man/woman. In fact, I pity that person, because he/she find love in someone that could never be hers/his, and they could not freely enjoy the love that they share.

Can you call that advice?

Virginity: Old fashioned or Prized Possession?

Virginity defined

(Wikipedia) Virginity is the state of being a virgin. Virgin historically signified a young woman characterized by absence of sexual experience (see Etymology).

The status of virginity has historically been respected in various ways, particularly when there are traditional or religious views associating sexual exclusiveness with marriage.

Female virginity is closely interwoven with personal or even family honour in many cultures, especially those known as shame societies. In such cultures the loss of virginity before marriage is a matter of deep shame. For example, among the Bantu of South Africa, virginity testing or even the suturing of the labia majora (called infibulation) has been commonplace. This would typically involve personal inspection by a female elder.[citation needed] Traditionally, Kenuzi girls (of the Sudan) are married before puberty (Godard, 1867), by adult men who inspect them manually for virginity (Kenedy, 1970). Female circumcision is later performed at puberty to ensure chastity (Barclay, 1964).

In Western marriage ceremonies, brides traditionally wear veils and white wedding dresses, which are inaccurately believed by many people to be symbols of virginity. In fact, wearing white is a comparatively recent custom among western brides, who previously wore whatever colors they wished or simply their "best dress." Wearing white became a matter first of trendy fashion and then of custom and tradition only over the course of the 19th century.
History evidences laws and customs that required a man who seduced or raped a virgin to take responsibility for the consequences of his offense by marrying the girl or by paying compensation to her father on her behalf.[6]

Technical virginity

Some historians and anthropologists note that many societies that place a high value on virginity before marriage, such as the United States before the sexual revolution, actually have a large amount of premarital sexual activity that does not involve vaginal penetration: for example, oral sex, anal sex and mutual masturbation. This is considered by some people "technical" virginity, as vaginal intercourse has not occurred but the participants are sexually active.

The notion of technical virginity is widely derided by many social commentators. In fact, the traditional theological definition of "virginity" in the Catholic tradition is the absence of any deliberately felt sexual pleasure.

Assertions of technical virginity, often made for religious reasons, may be regarded by some as grossly hypocritical and self-delusional. The well known advice columnist Dan Savage frequently ridicules such assertions when made by correspondents to his column and podcast Savage Love. His view, shared by many, is that "having sex", explicitly includes sexual activity other than vaginal intercourse, including oral or anal sex, or mutual masturbation. It therefore follows that once an individual has engaged in such sexual activity, they are no longer a virgin in any meaningful sense. Still, many people would admit a somewhat important difference between those acts that merely give sexual pleasure (i.e, performing oral sex, a handjob, etc) and those that receive it (penetrating, being penetrated, or otherwise brought to orgasm). Though there might be the notion that the recipient of a handjob has lost their virginity, few people would consider the hand that performed it to be therefore deflowered.

There are however anthropological reasons to the view that vaginal penetration, especially on the part of the woman, as especially indicative of a change in status, a threshold irrevocably crossed, the most incontrovertible "loss of virginity". And that is because a woman who has been vaginally penetrated is one who may have potentially conceived. From an evolutionary standpoint, men would prefer "virgin" mates under this definition to be sure that the woman was not carrying another man's child which the new husband would be "tricked" into caring for as his own. Neither the fact that no conception took place, nor the use of contraception, nor the passing of more than a full gestation period can remove this sociological stigma in many societies, as it is biologically, not rationally, based.

Loss of virginity

The act of losing one's virginity, that is, of a first sexual experience, is commonly considered within Western culture to be an important life event and a rite of passage. It is highlighted by many mainstream Western movies (particularly films aimed at a teenaged audience). The loss of virginity can be viewed as a milestone to be proud of or as a failure to be ashamed of, depending on cultural perceptions. Historically, these perceptions were heavily influenced by perceived gender roles, such that for a male the association was more often with pride and for a female the association was more often with shame.

In some cultures, women are not regarded as virgins after a sexual assault, but some people disavow this notion. There are also those who take this "spiritual" concept of virginity to its maximum, considering "born again virgins" to be virgins, regardless of their past sexual conduct. However, the word "chastity" is often used in this context rather than "virginity". The Catholic Church used to[citation needed] prefer nuns to be virgins—[citation needed]certainly young ones must be—[citation needed]but it does allow a few widows to take the veil, on the assumption that their sex lives—and family loyalties that might conflict with their vocations—expired with their husbands.[citation needed]

In males, there is no physically visible indicator of virginity. The sexual partner during the loss of virginity is sometimes colloquially said to "take" the virginity of the virgin partner. In some places, this colloquialism is only used when the partner is not a virgin, but in other places, the virginity of the partner does not matter. The archaic term "deflower" is sometimes used in modern times to also describe the act of the virgin's partner, and the clinical term "defloration" is another way to describe the event.

One slang term used for virginity is "cherry" (often, this term refers to the hymen, but can refer to virginity in males or females) and for a virgin, deflowering is said to "pop their cherry," a reference to destruction of the hymen during first intercourse. "Popping the cherry" can also refer to a person's first experience of receptive anal sex, and for this reason the anal sphincter can be referred to as the "cherry".

A curious term often seen in English translations of the works of the Marquis de Sade is to depucelate. This word is apparently a literal translation of dépuceler, a French verb derived from pucelle (n.f.), which means "virgin". Joan of Arc was commonly called "la Pucelle" by her admirers.

In some countries until the late 20th century, if a man did not marry a woman whose virginity he had taken, the woman was allowed to sue the man for money, in some languages named "wreath money".[7] In the U.S., it is still possible to sue for breach of promise, but the issue is not generally virginity.

In most modern countries, virginity is no longer an issue among females. As early as puberty, teenagers nowadays has been involved in sexual adventurism, mostly due to the influence of mass media; the swift change of lifestyle, and the new attitude of teenagers this modern era. A research showed that a marginal group of females gave up their virginity as early as nine years old.

However, to some countries with very strong traditional approach, such as the Philippines, China, Korea, India, Pakistan and other Muslim countries, virginity is a big part of a woman’s character. Virginity has been the gauge of her purity, principles and the intensity of respect her future husband will give to here.
