We are looking forward to 2011 at the Salvation Army garden. Right now we are growing a variety of carrots, beets, onions, cabbages and lettuces. We also have collards, chard, kale, garlic, artichokes, strawberries, spinach, blueberry bushes, sugarcane and some beautiful broccoli growing right now. This is all thanks to Ghazvini learning center where we worked with Gale Albritton and students to start seeds, a very generous plant donation from Espositos Nursery, a large compost donation in the beginning of the season, an irrigation donation and all of our wonderful volunteers. Thank you to everyone who has been a part!<br /> <br /> We will be setting a weekly work day this semester so stay tuned!
