Ijaz Offered to Record His Statement in Dubai

Mansoor Ijaz told that he will record his statement in Dubai rather then to go Pakistan. As because Ijaz believe that he will not secure in Pakistan and will apprehend if visit there.

On the other hand Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif offers Ijaz to come to Punjab and record his statement there and he will provide all type of security to Ijaz. It is another hot issue under discussions on paper and electronic media and such a time when the sovereignty of Pakistan is on stake the chief opposition part of the government offered a person whose personality and character is already a big question mark.

Simultaneously I want to ask a question from Mashahid Ullah Khan who recently wrote an article in Daily Jang and raised so many objections upon senior journalist Hasan Nisar that kindly Mr. Mashahid tells me what kind of politics is this? On the one hand you are demanding Mr. Hasan Nisar to show respect for a politician who made a tremendous record of corruption and build a steel empire from small steel shop by breaking laws after laws and through corruption, whose political emergence was belong and supported by a dictator, while on the other hand there provincial government is giving assurance of security to a person who already attempt contempt of court by refusing to appear before court. Mr. Hassan is a very senior Journalist and one among those Journalists who faithful with the country and always disclose true and fair opinions, never afraid of declaring fair views, in my opinion Mr. Mashahid it is wise that you will correct your direction and try to join some other electoral platform rather then supporting Sharifs.

The Pak-Turkey relations are on good way and when Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani visited Turkey last year he discussed wide-ranging topics with Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a getting together at the residence of PM Erdogan, at the same meeting the both leaders decided to unite higher main concern to bilateral business, financial commitment and improved connections. The two leaders reaffirmed assistance to each other in all issues. They mentioned the development in bilateral business and reaffirmed wish to get the targeted of $ 2 million business amount by the season 2012, through beginning finalization of an ideal economical collaboration structure, and quick monitored business facilitation and methods for marketers.

Mansoor Refuses to Go to Pakistan

The key witness in the memo gate case Mr. Mansoor Ijaaz has recently said that he will not travel to the Pakistan for testifying himself in front of the Supreme Court regarding the argues he has made against the ex-ambassador to the USA Mr. Hussain Haqqani. Mansoor Ijaz has established his basis for not coming to Pakistan for the testimony for fear of being apprehended.

Mansoor Ijaz, who is a Pakistani entrepreneur base in US, made accusations against Hussain Haqqani maintaining that the ex-ambassador asked him to convey a letter/memo to the US which requested for US help in reining in the military of Pakistan. The memo though unidentified indicates that it comes from a high authority in the government of Pakistan which is ruled by the Pakistan People’s Party or in other words, it specify that the President Asif Ali Zardari may be concerned in asking for help from the US as there was fear in the country that the military of Pakistan might be preparation a takeover after the death of Osama bin Laden.

As an alternative Mansoor Ijaz has offered to record his evidence and present it to Supreme Court commission probing the case, said legal representative Akram Sheikh. Ijaz was scheduled to travel to Islamabad to appear before the commission on Tuesday January 24, 2012 but has disputed with the government of Pakistan that who will give assurance of his protection.

The Pakistani army has formally refused by using tough words a U.S. report which concluded a NATO hit in Pakistani border near Afghanistan that martyred 24 Pakistani troops was carried out in self defense on November 26, 2011. The military officials stated that the elements of the report were "factually not correct."
The U.S. report released on December 22, 2011 initiated both American and Pakistani forces were to guilt for the occurrence close to the Afghan border, inflaming already stressed ties.

Presidential Immunity According to the Article 248

The article 248 of the Constitution of Pakistan is top of the discussions in these days, many media persons are presenting their views without being understand that what actually article 248 is subjected about. According to the Constitution of Pakistan article 248 is relating with the protection to President, Governor & Ministers of the State, it stated that;

(1) The President, the Governor, the Prime Minister, a Federal Minister, a Minister of State, the Chief Minister and a Provincial Minister shall not he answerable to any court for the exercise of powers and performance of functions of their respective offices or for any act done or purported to be done in the exercise of those powers and performance of those functions:Provided that nothing in this clause shall be construed as restricting the right of any person to bring appropriate proceedings against the Federation or a Province.

(2) No criminal proceedings whatsoever shall be instituted or continued against the President or a Governor in any court during his term of office.

(3) No process for the arrest or imprisonment of the President or a Governor shall issue from any court during his term of office.

(4) No civil proceedings in which relief is claimed against the President or a Governor shall be instituted during his term of office in respect of anything done by or not done by him in his personal capacity whether before or after he enters upon his office unless, at least sixty days before the proceedings are instituted, notice in writing has been delivered to him, or sent to him in the manner prescribed by law, stating the nature of the proceedings, the cause of action, the name, description and place of residence of the party by whom the proceedings are to be instituted and the relief which the party claims.

In light of the above stated article however we can not conclude any result but the lines are stating clearly that "the office bearer either he is a Governor, any Minister or even the President shall not answerable to any Court for the exercise of powers and performance of functions of their respective offices"

So according to article 248 President of Pakistan has an immunity against court proceedings, further I want to add that this immunity is not only for Mr. Asif Ali Zardari nor any other particular person but this immunity is for every President of Pakistan who either left or will hold this office in future.

Finally 3rd year has been passed

After spearheaded a coalition that forced Pervez Musharraf to resign and Asif Ali Zardari was elected President on 6 September 2008, he was the 11th President of Pakistan. The 3 years have been passed on September 6 2011 and this is the 4th year of his term, facing so many problems but his ship has been continuously floating and it has been looking that he will be take the honor to complete the term & will conduct next General Election under his supervision. The country is facing serious issues currently such as natural gas supply issue, higher petroleum prices, dollar shoot up to 92 PKR & the hottest Siraikee & Hazara Province bill under discussion in National Assembly upon which two parties MQM and ANP (the both are from ruling part of the Government) have differences of opinion.

But as I said the ship is still floating and it will be said that as the previous three years has been passed the remaining period will be elapsed and President Zardari will be left his office with Guard of Honour.

The year 2011 has been passed and we will enter in a new year with a hope that this year will bring prosperity and blessings to our country. We have lost many big names in 2011. So called 'War on Terror' is taking its last breaths and we could only pray that it will soon be ended as because the only country that suffers with destruction is Pakistan without being any valid reason, the super powers that are requiring Pakistan to engage in this war are remain unsatisfied and taunting Pakistan with only slogan of 'Do More'. By engaging in War on Terror Pakistan only face difficulties by way of poverty, power issues and finally lost confidence of its public. We will only hope that the year 2012 bring this war to an end, US, NATO and other security forces leaves Afghanistan and go back to their barracks in their own country.

Pillion Riding Banned Again in Karachi

I want to drag your attention towards the recent announcement from Government of Sindh that "pillion riding has been banned", the interior minister Manzor Wassan said that this step has been taken after reports that activists would attempt to disrupt peace in the city during the holy month of Muharram. He added that the ban would be in place for 10 days.

However it is already stated by leading lawyers and other senior citizens that the Ban on Pillion riding is an
un-constitutional act as it is in contradiction of Article 8 that is discussed Fundamental Rights of Citizens.

According to Article 8 clause (1) of the Constitution of Pakistan;

Any law, or any custom or usage having the force of law, in so far as it is inconsistent with the rights conferred by this Chapter, shall, to the extent of such inconsistency, be void.

& clause (2) of the same article stated that;

The State shall not make any law which takes away or abridges the rights so conferred and any law made in contravention of this clause shall, to the extent of such contravention, be void.

So it is clearly stated above that State has no right to implement such laws that will abridge the rights of Citizens of the Pakistan. Pillion riding is a right of every citizen of Pakistan and banning this right is an un-constitutional act, Government will have to take serious actions to remove weaknesses of Police Department so that crimes could be minimized and not to implement such laws that will affect poor public that already facing crises of electricity break down and over pricing.

In a blog post in the month of July 2011 , a Canadian-based Adbusters Foundation, well-known for its advertisement-free anti-consumerist magazine namely Adbusters, projected a nonviolent occupation of Wall Street to protest corporate influence on democracy, a growing inequality in wealth, and the absence of legal impacts behind the recent worldwide fiscal calamity. They sought to unite the symbolic place of the 2011 protests in Tahrir Square with the consensus decision making of the 2011 Spanish protests. Adbusters' leading editor Micah White said they had proposed the protest through their email record and it "was spontaneously taken up by all the public of the world. Adbusters' website stated that from their "one simple demand; a presidential commission to separate money from politics" they would "initiate to set the agenda for a new USA." They supported the protest with a hoarding featuring a dancer atop Wall Street's iconic Charging Bull.

The internet group Anonymous encouraged its followers and supporters to become part in the protests, calling campaigners to "flood lower Manhattan, set up tents, kitchens, peaceful blockades and occupy Wall Street." It is noted that many anonymous supporters of these activists give their credit card numbers to stores near by the protest area and instruct the store keeper to provide food to these people.

Adbusters' Kalle Lasn, said that later than the election of President Barrack Obama it was a feeling among the young that the new President would pass laws to control the banking structure and "capture these monetary fraudsters and bring them to justice." But, as time passed, "the feeling that he's a bit of a gutless wonder gradually crept in" and they lost their expectation that his election would result in change.

The protest was commenced at Zuccotti Park because it was private property and police could not lawfully compel them to leave without being requested to do so by the property owner. At a press conference held on the same day as the protests began, New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg stated that, "People have a right to protest, and if they want to protest, we'll be happy to make certain they have right locations to do so.

In a short summary, Occupy Wall Street is an continuing series of protests began by a Canadian youth group namely Adbusters which started on September 17, 2011 in Zuccotti Park of New York City's Wall Street financial hub. An other young lady having a placard stating that "look mom no future". It could be said that the system of Capitalism is in its brink of an end and taking its last breaths of life, soon or later it will vanish same like Communism in past, then what the choice will be left for Finical Experts who successfully run this system and having a Hi life style that include driving expensive SUV's or stretched Limos and living in homes that have golf course and helipads now they are facing bad impacts of Capitalism. Amir Khan Back in Muttihida (MQM) With 2500 Others

The Ex Chairman Mr. Amir Khan of Mohajir Qaumi Momvement (aka MQM Haqiqi) has been retorted the Mutahida Qaumi Movement along with his 2,500 other members of Haqiqi after Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain has accepted Aamir Khan’s apology, making way for him to retort the party and give back his party membership. The relatives of the MQM martyrs, misplaced workers and MQM creator Altaf Hussain have pardoned the ex-leader of the MQM, Aamir Khan at his request to forgive him.

On one hand Amir’s return in the party give a strong boost to Muttahida Qaumi Movement while on the other hand it will also raise question that what will be the future of Mohajir Qaumi Movement? There are also rumors Afaq Ahmed will be soon returned to his home party too but another issue is hot in these days that some underground members of Haqiqi are trying to re-boost the Mohajir Qaumi Movement although there are no exact name is in front but it is saying of some reliable political workers that Irfan Khan (Irfan Chitta of Korangi) and Mithon of Lines Area are trying to re unite the MQM (haqiqi) members and will soon publish there agenda.

Suspension of Geo Super and Aag Tv by the PEMRA is a hot issue in these days and Geo is is showing so much aggression through its broadcasting, web and paper platforms. Geo also launched a public licence scheme for the rehabilitation of the said channels suspension. Besides all differences and disagreements with Geo Network of bloggers like me i.e., Views On Pakistan News, Pakistan Media Watch, Cafe Pyala and Let Us Build Pakistan, I would like to say that what ever the issue but we could not deny the fact that this suspension will curtail the sports and youth activities, the youth of Pakistan gets a platform to show there self through Aag Tv and also through Geo Super. Wherever the Geo Network wrong but the efforts that done by them to rehabilitate the sports in country could not be ignorable, the grounds that always filled either by long grass or from the rainy water have filled with players and with the audience as well and its a healthy sign. After increasing sports activities Pakistan Sports Board started to pay s sum of Rs. 10,000/- to 15,000/- per month to its registered under nineteen cricket team players (I don't know the exact figure but its a fact that a sum nearing the figures above has been paid by the Board). All because of healthy sports activities and its a benefit of young youth who are a vital part and future of any economy or country but always ignored in Pakistan.

By writing these line I am not ignoring the fact that has been pointed out by Cafe Pyala and Pakistan Media Watch nor I am going to filled the licence publicized by the Geo, as I am a law lover man and respect it, so requested here to Geo that do not breach the local laws fulfill the requirements of laws so that sports activities will start again in Pakistan and also requested to PEMRA that show some leniency to over come this issue.

After Egypt and Tunisia, the people through out the world are waiting anything from Pakistan as the conditions here are even worse than both of the countries but who knows the public in Pakistan is waiting of a morning when they will see the same revolution like in Egypt and Tunisia. However everything is same from corruption in general department to upper chambers of Parliament but there is a slight difference that public is not interested to come at road and protest until something is happened bigger to them, the employees of KESC and PIA are a vital sign of the impact that created the revolution of Tunisia and Egypt and its sufficient for an ordinary person to think himself responsible to bring a positive change and for this everybody has to understand his duties and make a collective impact. The revolution is not happened itself it has to bring through a hard struggle. Beginning could be happened from anywhere whether a single home, person or even a whole organisation like PIA or KESC.

PM Yousuf Raza Gilani said that GST will reduce over pricing and control the economy, I don't know that by which calculation or formula his new philosophy is based on but I could say and understand that his philosophy will not be acceptable to the brain of a common man. This statement is merely a figure of speech, more or less same in a manner that most of people believe among us that Pervaiz Musharraf will bring the country out of crisis or the corrupt politicians bring their black money back to Pakistan that deposited in Swiss and other foreign accounts, Pervaiz Musharaf quite cigar smoking, Pakistani media starts to show fair picture to public or Nawaz Sharif left the politics.

Statements are the life blood of Pakistani politics and public is now become habitual to this most of us ignore what they listen yesterday or even after one hour but to swallow the bitter pill is a hard task for people like me , they not even remember these statements but explore them publicly.

From past week KESC started increase in load shading period that last for 8 hours in most of the areas, even in commercial and posh areas electricity break down is not less than 6 hours, it creates irritation and agitation in public and traders.

Raja Pervaiz Ashraf confirmed that world's biggest power plant will be reached to Karachi port on 17 of November from Turkey that produce 238 mega watts electricity, but he did not confirmed that when it would start operation to save the people from load shading.

Traders and people are protesting against the KESC and demand for proper supply of electricity in the city.

Pakistan's politics is once again repeating the past and going on traditional style of politics that remain a part of Pakistan's parliamentary system. The patch up between Pakistan Muslim League Qaid e Azam (PMLQ) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has not been swallowed by the media nor the opposition parties, however it presents a healthy political system in the country but the politicians of opposite side could not accepting the combination of PPP and PML Q, the opposite side of the politicians whether they do the same step if they were in this situation are not in a mood to accept this combination and passing irrelevant statements in this context. Media on the other hand by enjoying the situation showed negative statements videos of the past that had been passed by both parties to each other chiefly of them Qatil League and millions of money laundering cases, because media could not live without "churanlism" or choran chatni as its a strong pillar of our state.

The combination of PML Q and PPP will give strong power to democracy but whatever result will come out of this combination we have to say that politician must change thereselves and bring politness in their personalty.

Imran Farooq's Assassination Is the Saddest Moment for MQM

Imran Farooq has been assassinated yesterday in Edgware North London on front of his residency, he is the convener and a senior leader of the MQM, it is the saddest moment for the party and a big loss too, the leadership of MQM has been announced a 10 days mourning at this sad occasion.

The Scotland Yard is investigating the incident and will declared its reports within next 6 days.

The dark side of Pakistan's politics is the "Wadaira'as" or "Jagirda'ars" system, these "Wadaira'as" or "Jagirda'ars"holds acres of land, enslave innocent villagers and impose their own unjust laws upon them. Our neighbor India has wiped out itself from this curse years before but unfortunately Pakistan is still facing the music of feudalism because these "Wadaira'as" or "Jagirda'ars" always been a part of Government/Legislation in every period whether there was Government of PPP, Muslim League or even Marshal Law and whenever these governments trying to implement laws regarding land reforms these "Wadaira'as" or "Jagirda'ars" always stand in front of these reforms therefore these reforms could not become part of the law.

MQM's leadership recently announced that it will soon present land reform bill in the assembly is the first step against the "feudalism" from any political party or electoral college of Pakistan, if this time other parties will not stand side by side with MQM then the curse of feudalism will never be vanished from this country, Pakistan could not eliminate illiteracy because of these feudalistic minded "Wadaira'as" or "Jagirda'ars". The statement given by Altaf Hussain in his telephonic speech, in top of the discussions in these days. Everybody hear the speech and could extract the right material from out of it, as its an era of media and a general person has all type of sense to inquire anything. First I want to state the exact wording that has been delivered by Altaf Bhai on that vary day"کرپٹ سیا ست دانوں کے لیے مارشل لاء جیسی کاروائ کی حمایت کرے گے". It is the exact phrase as I seen at the local tv news channel at that day, the worse thing is that MQM and its leadership has never been accepted by the Punjab and by the establishment as well they always impose fake allegation on it and trying to mislead the public. Now at a time when MQM has now become a national political party it is now not limited to Karachi or Sindh the "Jagirdars" type of politician are now feeling insecure towards there political career as they are thinking "Oh the MQM is here too and it will soon spread through out the province as it capture the Sind". The interesting factor is that the most of the reaction upon Altaf Bhai's statement is coming from those politicians who have been created by the Marshal Law itself, the politicians whose historical background is clean are either silent or if not then their statement is not different from the leadership of MQM.

These type of politicians never want to see existence of MQM and trying to mislead the nation but the time is over now and soon or later the hands of Law will capture them.

Chairman of Tehrik e Insaaf and ex cricket star Mr. Imran Khan says that if he will become Prime Minister of Pakistan then he will eliminate terrorism within 90 days. (Well said Imran but in my opinion you can do it even more less time and you do not need to become the PM for this, what you have to do just leave the support of activists of northern areas so that they leave the country).

Ex Foreign Minister Mr. Qasoori says that unless the war of Afghanistan will not come at its logical end Pakistan will not become a peaceful state. He further says that all political parties have to come upon a platform to bring Pakistan out of this crisis.
