... Thanks God I was able to finish and submit my paper on time. I really thank God for the strength He had given me as it was really so hard to find my focus. But though I am done with the paper, I am still not halfway through it. I still have to make the presentation and to prepare myself for the oral defense. Please pray for me okay? Thank you so much if you will!

... Blog updating, I still have a lot to catch up I know. Be patient with me okay?

... Project 365, I was able to finish last year's and have started this year as well but I have yet to collate and make an album for last year. It is definitely on my to-do list.

Hello everyone! I actually don't know how to start writing on what had recently happened to our country most especially to Central Visayas. It is truly heartbreaking seeing the effects of Typhoon Yolanda that I sometimes tend to avoid watching news. For me no words can ever described what happened and what are they going through right now. But I am thankful to God that help from different countries and organizations have been pouring in. I just truly hope and pray that help will reach these affected places the soonest possible time. If you wish to lend a hand and I thank you so much in advance, you may click on the Philippine Red Cross banner I put at the top of my page. Any amount, anything in kind for sure will go along way. Tryin' to squeeze this in while taking a breather as well from Acad. I really felt bad of not updating and uploading these on time. Sigh! Can we have more than 24 hours in a day?

252 - Ugh! Sad to say our home was infected by termites. So before it get worst, we have sought the help of the professionals. 253 - Little tot was having fun watching Pocahontas for the Nth time. 254 - Creamy Vegetable Soup in Coconut Milk! 255 - Tried decorating a few cuppies for samples. 256 - Baked a few for delivery! 257 - Banana Cake Loaves. Baking continues the next day and 258 - the next day. Banana Walnut Muffins!

That's it for now. I will have to go back in making my TOWS.

Hi everyone! Happy Monday! How was your weekend?
Hope everyone had fun! And to those in the US, hope you are enjoying your long weekend. To all the hard workers, this is your time to relax and have fun!

Now on to my project, here's what happened last week:

238 - Finally found the haven for all bakers out there! Dough-it-all has everything you need when it comes to baking that are way cheaper than mall's prices! Thanks to the wife of my manager who introduced this place to me. 239 - Made Banana cakes minis and delivered it to the school near our place.

240 - Made brownies for little tot's school snacks. 241 - All these were for deliveries!

242 - Made this banana loaf for a friend. 243 - 'Twas a lot of walking last Saturday that it ended up missing our dermatologist appointment. Ugh!

244 - My first attempt to create rainbow cupcakes! Glad my little tot liked it though it need some improvement :)

Hi everyone! Happy Monday! How was your weekend?

Hope everyone had fun. After a week of no classes due to Tropical Storm Maring, kids are still on a long weekend since it is National Heroes Day. So aside from reviewing for this coming exact week and a few more baking, we don't have much plans for today.

That is why I am posting my project on time! Yey! So here you go:

231 - Sweet! Couldn't ask for more. I am truly blessed! 232 - Day 232 - Rainbow bits.. Done! Ready for tasting.

233 - "Well, hello there" Front tooth is saying "Hi"! at last! 234 - Finally got a hold of this, thanks to a good friend who fulfill my wishes and brought these from SG!

235 - Early morning bonding. 236 - Time to bake some more. Ready for disposal!

237 - Science comes Alive! Due to the weather, we have decided to cancel the staycation and just visit The Mind Museum instead. Our little tot had so much fun!

Is This My Calling?

If you would notice on some of my recent 365 photos, I have started baking. And to my surprise, I love it! I know how to cook with the help of recipe books and YouTube videos but honestly, I don't really cook as my in-laws do the cooking before most of the time. But ever since my in-laws migrated to Canada, they have encouraged me to utilize the kitchen more and to try out baking. And so I did! I have looked for some mixes at the groceries for beginner baker like me. So far I have tried baking brownies, decadent cake, rainbow bits cake, chocolate cake, choco crinkles and my favorite banana cake. I think banana cake is my specialty as of now LOL! My colleagues, who volunteered to be my guinea pigs, have been raving about it. I am so happy on the positive feedback that I am thinking of creating business out of it. Now I am thinking of investing on a good bread knife. Would you know which type should I buy? I really have zero idea when it comes to the gadgets on baking but according to my research here's what I need to buy:

Now I am on the hunt for a good bread knife but of course, not too expensive. I still lack a lot of things that are needed for baking and I will start with this. Hopefully I can end my hunt in the next few days. And I am claiming, with the help of God, I can start this business real soon!

Ben Affleck as Batman? Hmm... I like Ben and I like him more when he got married with my ultimate favorite Jennifer Garner! But portraying as Batman on big screen, I still have to think about it. Aside from the fact that I am still not over the brilliant portrayal of Christian Bale as Batman, I quite know the Batman character. Most part of my brain is objecting and telling me that he is not fit as Bruce Wayne. His looks is too soft and too gentle (trying to think of the best adjectives that will describe him) that I think he will be having a hard time displaying the dark side of Bruce Wayne. Hmmm... But let see! I would like to give him a chance, all for the sake of Jen LOL! I might need to watch Argo to see how he act today. Oh and by the way, I haven't had a chance (well actually it's more of a choice) to watch Superman. I also didn't see Henry Cavill as Superman, I am more inclined to see Tom Welling LOL! Soooo let's see how they will be and if they will do justice on these two characters of Justice League.

Hi everyone! To my local readers, hope everyone is safe in this Rainy Monday. And to the rest of my blogger friends, Happy Monday! How was your weekend?

Now to catch up on my project, here's the last four weeks' happenings:

203 - We saw the Pacific Rim, 'twas a nice movie! 204 - I am back to school. 205 - Got these from McDs'! 206 - Yummy rice cakes! 207 - Finally, we have her ID! 208 - From south to north. Family mini-reunion at Lala's house in QC! 209 - Bonding in Tagaytay City with the Canadians!

210 - Yummy apple pie from Bags of Beans! 211 - The Canadians were getting ready for leaving. Sadness! 212 - It was the time for them to go back to Canada! We will see them soon! 213 - On steroids again, due to viral infection! Ugh! 214 - This won't work for me. Love to snooze! 215 - Adding to my collection of shawls. 216 - Baking decadent chocolate cake. My little baker was having fun!

217 - Love The Wolverine! 218 - My little tot was not feeling well due to her erupting molar :( 219 - My breakfast. 220 - Got her school stuffs to catch up. 221 - Banana cake this time, and I was so happy everyone loves it! 222 - Burger King opened at Festival Mall. But I was disappointed as its burgers don't taste like before. It taste more like Jollibee. Hmm not surprised though, after all they both now owned by the same corporation. 223 - We saw and love Smurfs 2! We really don't give up on family.

224 - Sad day! We lost our Uncle Dune due to a heart attack :( 225 - Cooked Japanese croquettes! 226 - Crinkles for my little tot. 227 - Starbucks card is love! And I love how this came for free, since the P300 that you have paid for is consumable :) 228 - Uncle Dune's interment. May he rest in peace! 229 - As requested by my colleagues, baked another banana cake. 230 - New haircut for my little tot. She requested to have bangs. After that, we have a buffet lunch at Sambokojin for my pre-birthday celebration.

I can't believe I have been that busy that I missed four weeks of my project. How about you, how was your weekend?

Glamourbox' July Special Edition Box

This is so overdue, I know! So before the arrival of my August' box, let me share you what I got from Glamourbox last month. It was a Special Edition, Glam Team had tied up with Avon so all the goodies were from Avon. Aside from their lip and cheek tint, I honestly have not tried yet any of their products. They did send me two boxes of Regenerist creams from their AVON ANEW line but up until now I haven't tried it yet. So when I have heard about what will be inside July's box, I got excited and immediately subscribed to it. So here's what I got last month, as always the box look so sleek!

Vacation is over, well at least for our Canadian relatives. They have already left last Wednesday to go back to Canada. We will definitely miss them but I know in God's time will be joining them there!
