Table T bill or we'll quit, Cong MPs tell New Delhi

HYDERABAD: Rejecting the Srikrishna committee report, Congress MPs from Telangana on Sunday said its contents were far from truth and labelled it as a "bundle of lies." They met at Peddapalli MP Vivekanand's house here to discuss the future course of action. They were unanimous in their demand for introduction of a bill in the ensuing budget session of Parliament.

The MPs were signatories to a letter written to Union finance minister Pranab Mukherjee urging him to convene an all-party meeting before the budget session and elicit their views on the Telangana state. "The meeting will give an opportunity for all political parties to speak out their mind on our genuine demand," the MPs said.

"We will not accept anything less than the immediate introduction of a bill in support of Telangana during the budget session next month. We will not hesitate to resign from our posts... We are fulfilling our duty as MPs by highlighting the aspirations of people in our region," said Nizamabad MP Madhu Yashki Goud after the meeting.

Telangana Congress MPs' Forum convenor Ponnam Prabhakar asked other parties in the region not to cast aspersions on them but work towards passing unanimous resolutions at the official Rachabanda programme in support of a Telangana state. Other MPs present at the meeting were K Keshava Rao, T Rajayya, M Jagannadham, K Rajagopal Reddy, and G Sukhendar Reddy.

The MPs said they would soon hold a massive dharna in New Delhi to showcase their strength in the wake of a one-day hunger-strike by Jaganmohan Reddy.

In the evening, ministers from Telangana said they too would write a letter to the party high command to convey the intensity of the Telangana movement and people's agony over the delay in carving out a new state. They met at information minister D K Aruna's residence to discuss the current political situation in the state and other related developments.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Panchayat raj minister K Jana Reddy said agitations and instances of stone-pelting at the Rachchabanda meetings should not be viewed as opposing the government but as the agony of people in Telangana over the delay in announcing statehood.
Others present at the meeting included Ponnala Lakshmaiah, J Krishna Rao, K Venkat Reddy, D Sridhar Babu and B Sarayya.

Telangana protesters lay siege to ministers, MPs' houses

Protests continued in Telangana for the third consecutive day Friday with protesters laying siege to the houses of state ministers, MPs and state legislators of ruling Congress and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) to demand their resignations. Leaders and activists of Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) and
other constituents of Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) staged road blockades in different parts of Telangana protesting the police "excesses" on students at Osmania University in Hyderabad. The protesters sat on the roads, disrupting vehicular traffic for several hours. Such protests were reported from Khammam, Warangal, Medak, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Nizamabd, Mahabubnagar and Adilabad districts.
They demanded withdrawal of police and paramilitary forces from Osmnia University and lifting of curbs on media covering Telangana protests.
On a call given by Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC), students laid siege to the residences of ministers. They also staged protests outside the houses of MPs and state legislators belonging to both the ruling Congress and the main opposition TDP.
Police arrested scores of protesters in various towns in the region. The protests also led to tension in some areas as police used force to control the crowds.
Protesters laid siege to the house of minister Basvaraj Saraiah in Warangal. Another minister Sudershan Reddy's house in Nizamabad was attacked.
There was also a huge protest outside the residence of MP Ponnam Prabhakar in Karimnagar.
The protesters wanted all ministers, MPs and legislators from the region to resign to mount pressure on the central government to table a bill in parliament during the budget session.
The protests were continuing in Telangana since Thursday when Srikrishna committee's report was made public.
The panel strongly favoured keeping Andhra Pradesh united but suggested constitutional measures to ensure development of Telangana.

HYDERABAD: Stating that the report of the Srikrishna committee has spread ‘confusion, chaos and unnecessary complications’ on state’s bifurcation issue, the members of the Telangana Congress Monitoring Group (TCMG) today felt that their party would be buried in the Telangana region if the Centre fails to deliver T State. It appears that the report was written by the Seemandhra leaders since the committee’s member-secretary VK Duggal, who was ‘against’ Telangana, had met Seemandhra MPs T Subbirami Reddy and Kavuri Sambasiva Rao several times, they remarked.They passed a resolution urging Congress president Sonia Gandhi to be ‘decisive and swift’ so as to save Congress and ensure peace in Telangana. CM holds talks with AzadChief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Union health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad discussed the situation arising in the state after the Srikrishna Committee report was made public.Reddy called on Azad, who came to Hyderabad yesterday to participate in a private programme, at the Lake View Guest House and reportedly discussed implications of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s party for the Congress.

TDP may abstain from all-party meeting

Hyderabad: TDP may abstain from an all-party meeting convened by Union Home Minister P Chidambaram in New Delhi on January 6 when the Justice Srikrishna Committee report on the Telangana statehood issue will be released.

The party is expected to make an official announcement in this regard tomorrow, TDP sources said.

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu met his senior colleagues and weighed the options of attending the all-party meeting in the backdrop of mounting pressure from party leaders from Telangana against their participation in the meet, they said.

Even party leaders from Andhra-Rayalaseema reportedly suggested it would be prudent to stay away from the meeting and not to fall prey to the Congress' "dubious game plan" on the contentious issue.

The TRS on January 1 had decided not to attend the meet in New Delhi, saying it was a "deliberate attempt" to seek divergent opinions on the issue. Echoing similar views, the BJP also said it will not participate in the meeting.

However, the Praja Rajyam Party will send senior leaders Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao and C Ramachandraiah for the meeting.

Since the meeting is meant only to hand over the Committee report to various political parties, the party chief K Chiranjeevi has decided not to attend it himself and instead would send the two senior leaders, PRP sources said.

Last year, Chiranjeevi had represented his party at the all-party meeting on the statehood issue.

The Congress, CPI and CPM will be the other parties attending the meet in which Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will take part in his official capacity.

The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen has not yet decided on whether or not to attend the meeting.

Meanwhile, Chidambaram has turned down a request made by CPI state secretary K Narayana to distribute the committee report to political parties ahead of the January 6 meeting.

"Revealing the report before hand is not possible. You may please attend the all-party meeting where the report will be formally handed over to all," he said.

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee President D Srinivas will reach New Delhi tomorrow for discussion on the statehood issue ahead of the all-party meeting.

However, he will not attend the meeting as the party has decided to send senior MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao and senior MLA N Uttam Kumar Reddy as representatives from Andhra-Rayalaseema and Telangana regions respectively.

అయితే, యువకులు భావోద్రేకాలకు లోనయి అనవసరంగా ఆత్మహత్యలకు పాల్పడటం చాల బాధాకరమైన విషయము. అసలు తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్రం వాళ్ళకోసమే కదా మనందరం కోరేది. వాళ్ళు అనుభవించని తెలంగాణా మనకెందుకు. మా జీవితాలు ఎట్లాగో గడిపాం. వివక్షకు, శోషణకు, అపహాస్యాలకు, హేళనకు గురయ్యాము. మన పిల్లలు అట్లాంటి బాధలు అనుభవించ వద్దు. నిరాశ నిస్పృహను కలిగిస్తుంది. అక్కడినుంచి ఎన్నో వికారాలు బయలుదేరుతాయి. ఒకానొక బలహీనక్షణములో బ్రతకడమే అనవసరమనిపిస్తుంది. ఆ భయంకర క్షణాలని అధిగమించాలి. దీనికి మంచి ఉదాహరణ రామాయణంలో ఉంది. సీతమ్మను వెతికి వెతికి అలసిపోయి నిరాశకు గురి అవుతాడు హనుమంతుడు. సీతమ్మ కనపడలేదని ఎట్లా చెప్పగలడు రామునికి. ఆ పని చేయలేడు కాబట్టి, ప్రాణాలను వదిలేందుకు నిర్ణయిస్తాడు. అయితే ఆ క్షణంలో ఒక ధైర్య కిరణం అతని మదిలో వెలుగుతుంది. నేనైతే చచ్చిపోతాను, కాని ఆ తర్వాత పర్యవసానంగా ఏమౌతుంది అనికొంచెం సావధానంగా ఆలోచిస్తాడు మన మారుతి. అతనికి ఎంతో దారుణమైన చిత్రం గోచరిస్తుంది. 'నాకోసం వేచి వేచి రాముడు ఖిన్నుడౌతాడు . సీత జాడతెలియక శ్రీరాముడు ప్రాణాలు వదలడం ఖాయం. అది చూసి లక్ష్మణుడు కూడాచనిపోతాడు. ఇదంతా చూసి కిష్కింద రాజు, రాముని మిత్రుడు, సుగ్రీవుడు కూడా ఏదో చేసుకోరానిది చేసుకుంటాడు. ఆతర్వాత వానర రాజ్యం నశిస్తుంది. అయోధ్యలో అల్లకల్లోలం చెలరేగుతుంది. ఇట్లాగ వినాశ పరంపర సాగిపోతుంది. ఇవన్నీ నా ఆత్మహత్య వల్ల కలిగే ఉపద్రవాలు. కాబట్టి, ప్రాణం విలువైనది. ఓపికతో నిష్టతో ప్రయత్నిస్తే లక్ష్యం తప్పక నెరవేరుతుంది' అని అనుకొని ఆత్మహత్యా ప్రయత్నాన్ని విరమించుకుంటాడు హనుమంతుడు. "వినాశే బహవో దోషా జీవన్ ప్రాప్నోతి భద్రకం, తస్మాత్ ప్రాణాన్ ధరిష్యామి ధ్రువో జీవతి సంగమః " (సుందర కాండ) ఆత్మహత్య వినాశాకరమైనది. అది పాపకార్యం కూడాను. ఆత్మహత్య ఎన్నో దోషాలకు దారి తీస్తుంది. బ్రతికి ఉంటే ఎన్నడో ఒకనాడు తప్పక మనలక్ష్యం నెరవేరుతుంది. ప్రాణాలను కాపాడుకొని ఉద్యమించడమే అన్నివిధాల శ్రేయస్కరం. అని నిర్ణయించుకొని కృతార్థుడౌతాడు మన వీరహనుమాన్. ఆయనే మనకు ఆదర్శం, మార్గదర్శి. ఆత్మహత్యకు పాల్పడే వారు నరకలోకాలను అనుభవిస్తారని ఉపనిషత్తులు కూడా చెప్తున్నాయి. "అసుర్యా నామ తే లోకా అంధేన తమసా ఆవృతా: , తాం తే ప్రేత్యాభిగఛ్చంతి యే కే చ ఆత్మహనో జనా:" (శ్రీ ఈశోపనిషత్తు) అంటే ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్న జనులు, అంధకారము అజ్ఞానములచేత ఆవరింపబడిన అసుర (నరక) లోకాలను పొందుతున్నారు. అందుచేత -
"ఆత్మత్యాగమొద్దు తెలగాణ వీరుడా, మ
హాత్ములవోలె పోరు సల్పుదాం మనము, దు
రాత్ముల నికృష్ట నీతులను దునుమాడి, విజి
తాత్ములమై విరుచుకుపడదాము తుదకు."

ఈ సందర్భంలో ఒక ఉర్దూ కవి అన్న మాటలు గుర్తుకొస్తున్నాయి. थर थराते हैं अन्धेरे तो लरज़ थे क्यों हों? हर नयी सुबह कि तकलीक यूहीं होती है। నిరాశ చీకట్లు కమ్ముకుంటుంటే అట్లా ఎందుకు వణికిపోతావు మిత్రమా? ప్రతి ఉషోదయం ముందు ఇలాగే ఉంటుంది తంతు. ఇంకొక గొప్ప ఉర్దూ కవి ఇక్బాల్ ఏమంటాడో చూడండి. अगर उस्मानियों पर (read तेलंगानियों पर) खोय-ए- ग़म टूटा तो क्या ग़म है? के खून-ए-सद हज़ार अंजुम से होती है सहर पैदा. (తెలంగాణీయుల) ఉద్యమకారుల మీద ఎన్ని కష్టాల పర్వతాలు విరుచుకుపడ్డా అవేమి భరించరాని బాధలు కావు. వాళ్ళు భయపడరు. కారణం, అసంఖ్యాక నక్షత్రాలు రాలిన తర్వాతే కదా శుభోదయం ప్రాప్తిస్తుంది.
అందుచేత తెలంగాణా వీరులారా, చచ్చి సాధించేది ఏమి ఉండదు. బ్రతికిఉన్నవారికే అన్నీ ప్రాప్తిస్తాయి. ఈ సత్యాన్ని గుర్తెరిగి ఓపిక సంయమనం ధైర్యంతో ముందుకు సాగుదాం. ఆత్మహత్య మహా పాపం, ఆశుభకరం. మనను కన్నవారికి ఆప్తులకు శోకాన్ని మిగిల్చిన వారమవుతాము. అలాంటి దురాలోచనలకు దూరంగా ఉండాలి. ఎవరైనా ఈ దారుణమైన విషయాన్ని చర్చిస్తే ఆ ధోరణి వారిలో గమనిస్తే అందులో దాగిఉన్న దుష్పరిణామాలను వారికి వివరించి ఆ చెడుమార్గము నుంచి వారిని తప్పించాలి. ఇది అందరి కర్తవ్యం.

I am from Telangana – I am not a Naxalite

Yesterday, I saw the movie called ‘I am khan, I am not a terrorist’. The movie is about a Muslim man suffering from a type of autism called ‘Asperger’s Syndrome’ who suddenly finds himself branded as a terrorist after the September 11th incident in US. As a law-abiding man with simple ideals, he doesn’t understand why he is accused of being a terrorist. The moral of the story was that there are only two kinds of people, good and evil, and they exist everywhere in all races, regions, and religions.
A few people brought to my attention that in some pro-united Andhra forums, and groups, any person asking for Telangana is termed as a Naxalite. The members are claiming that the Telangana supporters are instigators of violence, and they are T-rouble makers of the worst kind who are disrupting the peace and tranquility in Andhra Pradesh. The accusers are educated Andhra people who have some form of fear that they will be driven out from Hyderabad if Telangana state is formed and Hyderabad becomes the capital of this new state. Being a moderator of the Telangana forum, I will say that this kind of rhetoric is not just confined to the pro-United Andhra forums. Most of the administrators continuously monitor our walls for inflammatory speeches and try to moderate them. But still a few escape our close watch. Some people attack the Andhras with equal fervor as they attack the Telangana people.
Firstly let me say clearly that I am all for the bifurcation of Telangana region from Andhra Pradesh. I don’t want the people to break up because of language, or because I have hatred for the other side. In fact, I enjoy the food, the movies, the literature belonging to the Andhra region. My reasons for the de-merger of the state are political, economic, and administrative. I think that ‘Unity’ is a politically correct word and in normal circumstances, every sane person would and should want people to be happily united. The key word here is in ‘normal circumstances’.
I strongly believe that smaller states are better for administration, especially with the high populace in India. India has already separated three states in the recent years into six. The three new states, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttarkhand have stated higher GDP growth since their formation.
Secondly, I believe that there are regional imbalances because of the uneven political representation in the state. The Seema Andhra people have a majority in the state, they have roughly 75 more representatives than Telangana. In the last 56 years, they have enjoyed their leaders at the helm as the chief minister of the state. Only four times, the Telangana chief ministers have come to the power and three out of the four times, they have been pulled down by the Seemandhra leaders before they fulfilled their tenure.
Because of the weak political representation, most of the irrigation projects in Telangana were put on the back burner, not maintained, and those that started were drawn and built to give more water to the Seemandhra regions than the Telangana region. When I tell this fact to my Andhra friends, they told me that our farmers are too lazy, so they didn’t want the water but wanted the dole outs from the state. Some told me that since Telangana region is a plateau, the lift irrigation is more expensive. Painstakingly I did research and found that majority of the projects are not lift irrigation. The government did not make any efforts to implement drip irrigation, minor canals, small lift irrigation projects that are less expensive to curtail the over usage of ground water. This resulted in depletion of ground water. The farmers took loans from the banks to dig bore/tube wells. But they needed electricity to run the borewells. Electricity was scarce too because there were no power projects in Telangana. So the farmers failed miserably and defaulted on their loans. In the last decade, Telangana ranked the highest in terms of farmer suicides.
90% of the white-collar bureaucrats in the government are from Seemandhra. When a Telangana person does all the due diligence and goes for a mining permit, somehow the permission is given to a native of Andhra. 95% of the government contracts go to the Seema or Andhra businessmen. This monopolization suppressed the Telangana people and you can name probably a handful that are millionaires, while there are hundreds of people from Andhra who can claim to be millionaires and even a couple of billionaires.
The corruption and greed of Seema Andhra leaders and businessmen is another reason why I believe it would be best for us to divide. The government (i.e. Chief ministers and powerful politicians belonging to SeemaAndhra) gave away lands almost free of charge to several Andhra policians and businessmen for favors received. The lands in Hyderabad and surrounding Telangana villages were given on the pretext of creating industries for employing locals, but instead were turned into real estate ventures. Today about 167,000 acres of government urban land in Hyderabad is in the hands of Seemandhra people.
When it comes to funds distribution, the inequality is glaringly visible. The universities in Andhra enjoy a lot more funds, and every year a new university pops in that region while the Telangana universities are always squeezed for money and have bare facilities.
Based on the weaker political power, lower per capita income, lower literacy rates, lower employment numbers, and less number of acres that are irrigated in Telangana, and increasing greed of the Seemandhra leaders, I believe that a division is absolutely necessary. Added to this are the growing animosities between the two people, the mental anguish and fear from both sides.
So what happens to Hyderabad? Hyderabad being in telangana region will have to stay as the capital of Telangana. The state capital for Seemandhra region needs to be selected, the money and seed capital for the infrastructure needs to be given to the Seemandhra people. The people who will lose the government jobs will need to be repatriated to their region. If Andhra people want to remain where they are, they should remain where they are – after all, Hyderabad is in India and we are all Indians, as an Indian, you or I should have the right to stay where we want.
I want to be fair to the Seema Andhra people in Hyderabad. Most of them are ordinary people who came to Hyderabad because it is the capital of A.P, they found jobs and settled here. Some of them have been in the city for 25 years or more. They fear that they will be sent back if Telangana comes, their jobs will be in jeopardy and their lands will be seized. Being a moderate and educated person, I would like to impress upon them that unless they are in a state government job, they have nothing to fear. But like Khan’s mother said, there are good and evil people in the world, and some evil people do threaten violence against the ordinary Andhra and Seema people with dire consequences. Will this increase or decrease if Andhra Pradesh remains united? I believe if the separation happens quickly and smoothly, people will live and let live. The longer the agitation is let to simmer, the worse the consequences will be.
I have a lot of friends who have had mixed marriages. I sympathize with their plight. They want the state to be united. They want their kids to have one native state, now they have to go through the same identity crises that most of the American Born Indian kids go through. Who do they show loyalty to? Where do they live? This is a delicate problem, but this is not the same kind of problem that the Telangana farmers are facing, this is not the same kind of problem that the Telangana unemployed youth are battling. Their agitation is for food, shelter, and education not for emotional comfort.
Are people from two different states not marrying today? How are the children from such marriages coping with the situation? It’s not like we are going to be two states speaking two different languages, right? It’s not like we are building a wall between our regions.
The only culprits here are the leaders from both sides, who have a lot more to lose or gain if Telangana comes. These are the Seemandhra leaders who have acquired lands illegally in Telangana, especially in Greater Hyderabad and worry that people will start looking closely into their activities. These are the Telangana leaders who are power hungry and not interested in their constituents and their needs.
The rhetoric on both sides is increasing day by day. The hostilities on internet forums is reminding me of ‘Road Rage’. On the road, people try to cut each other off, they curse, they yell obscenities when someone breaks the rules, the drivers show their middle fingers, and sometimes they even shoot each other when a crazy person loses his or her cool. I think this is probably because we are pretty sure we will never see that person face to face in a party or workplace. The same phenomenon is taking place on the forums, facebook, Orkut, Myspace groups, and fan pages. Under the guise of anonymity, we take swings at each other, trying to be as crude and as insensitive as possible.
On the Telangana forums, every Andhra person is a leech, a bloodsucker, or a Shylock. But most of the Andhra people are your co-workers, your neighbors, and your family members who probably had no idea that all these injustices were happening in Telangana. They were blissfully ignorant all this time, and now that the shit hit the fan, they are bristling at the personal insults and attacks against them. The telangana people show insensitivity about the migrants, screaming slogans like ‘idli sambar go back’, ‘Andhra Bhago’ etc.
Telangana people should stop blaming the ordinary Andhra person. Their only fault is staying silent and blind when injustices were happening and enjoying the favors bequeathed upon them by their leaders. It is perhaps not a deed done with deliberation, but with oblivious ignorance.
The Seema Andhra leaders and the predominantly Andhra media today are trying to term Telangana people as naxalites, trying to create a fear in the Center and suppress the student movement. This propaganda has moved to the internet, now the Andhra people take pleasure in calling all Pro-Telangana people naxalites. They too show their indifference and apathy when young kids from Telangana die, committing suicides.
Andhra people should stop thinking that these demands are because the Telangana people are against them. The movement was born ‘For’ the Telangana people, not ‘Against’ any other region.
In these circumstances, it is foolish to stay together and beget violent thoughts or deeds on both sides. It is a merciful thing if the center grants the separation of Telangana as quickly as possible when there is still some love and respect between us.
I am from Telangana, I am not a Naxalite.

Ideas For Peaceful Protest

The ability to protest is one of the foundations of free speech and in any democracy. The point of peaceful protests is to bring attention to the situation, and with the help of the press and other media, to make the general public more aware of the situation. There are some very definite formulas for success in peaceful protests:

1. Be consistent, organized, polite but firm in your message and intent
2. Peaceful protests is all about getting the media to carry your message to the public. Always keep the bigger picture in mind (What is my objective?) and avoid being sidelined by personas and conflicting opinions who oppose your ultimate goal
3. Have brochures, pamphlets and other tools readily available that can easily be given out and/or quoted
4. Contact the media prior to your protest; assign someone to photograph or videotape the event to be assured you have footage or photos for further actions.
5. Always carry signs and make sure that you have extras already made up and available to be carried

Some ideas

Walk with chains/handcuffs, requesting the central govt to release from the abuse and neglect.

Show Telangana uniqueness: Send some unique things that are perticular to Telangana to Andhra leaders who oppose Telangana with a message.

Jai Telangana: Whenever you see Andhra leader, politely ask for his/her support for Telangana. Don't get depressed, keep on asking whenever you see any Andhra leader.

Telangana badges/t-shirts: Wear Telangana badges/t-shirts

Telangana Banners, Car/bike flags:

Venu Kumar: I would strongly urge to paste stickers of "Jai Telangana" on every vehicle, Doors of each house of Telangana, Compound walls, boundary walls, all Public Transport/Private Transport Vehicles in Telangana etc., Also urge people to call by prefix or suffix "Telangana" to their names, write state address as Telangana instead of AP. Write Welcome Banners at all entry points to Telangana Areas as "Welcome to Telangana" and "Telangana State ends here", Hoisting Telangana flag on Vehicle, house and public places like park, cross roads etc. Urge all the theatre owners to run a 5 minute telefilm protraying the problems of Telangana and why we deserve a seperate state. In this regard care should be taken to move the minds of the people by the film, projecting the core issues where we trail far behind Andhras.

Chinnappa V: one idea is to Organise a Telangana JAgaran Mahotsav ...and the date be 25th JAn 2010 on the night of which we should light candles all through the night till 26 th wee hours. This mahotsav need to be celebrated at all village levels and candles should be brought voluntarily by all of us. Hope This one would show the Strength and unity among the Talanganites in a novel form. Am sure if we can reach all JACs and convey this we can make it a success.

Srinivas B: Every Telangana political leader / Village sarpanch/ person have to address the Prime Minister, Government of India (GoI)m New Delhi, (copy to CM of AP), for early formation of separate Telangana State, duly stating their problem with andhras if any or simply “We want separate Telangana State”.

Declare one person from one family to fast for one day like “Shivaratri” and name as “Today May Be Telangana Formation Day” (TMBTFD) and bring into the media. A village should have the list of these fasting people daily at an appropriate place. Even cultural programmes / bhajans or music competitions/ comedy presentations/games/sports competions may be conducted and prize distributions may be made by district collectors/MLAs/MPs or any responsive leader

Daily one or more villages may be declared as “protest village today” by village/city people by wearing “black badges/ black caps.

Hiranmayi T: Instead of giving a call to stop the cinemas ,an oppurtunity could have been utilized by displaying certain slogans boldly and calmly against Vamshi and Nani near theatres, urging people to think twice before they pay and watch film made by such people who are using this money for Samaikya Andhra without REAL spirit in it which is evident from their slogans, recent G.Os and street plays like kabaddis . Let us make best use of things.

Balaram: Let village/city women select a day of a week and gather at temple/church/masjid praying for telangana state formation. Let all T Doctors declare "Free treatment to the people who involve actively in the movement". Let all T Builders/Civil Engineers declare "Employ only Telangana people until Telangana state is created". Let "all Ts to keep silence with seemandhras"

Dr. M.R. Prasad: Adoring the photographs of all brave, young men & students who committed suicide for the cause of Telangana in all the Telangana Schools, Colleges, Offices, Public Places. Building memorials at busy crossings, parks, public places for those who died for Telangana State. There should be peaceful/ NOVEL PROTESTS in front of all Congress, TDP, CPM leaders till "T" is achieved. The Novel protests should be by placing "Bangles & Sarees" in front of the houses /official bungalows of MLAs/MPs/Ministers etc. on daily basis.
