AWESOME GADGET - AER Stores, The Heaven Of Gadget (11 pics)

2013-10-11T02:44:00.001+08:00

COORDINATION ASIA completed a new breed of telecom stores named AER for AISIDI, one of China’s leading reseller for mobile and digital products and services. AER is a retail brand that enhances the life of the individual mobile user by offering customized mobile services in a playful, cool and customer-focused environment. COORDINATION ASIA took on branding as well as VI and store design for AER. The first AER store has opened in Shenzhen and new stores are planned to open China-wide within the coming year.

AER is based on a great understanding of mobile lifestyle, in which mobile devices keep you connected, entertained and updated through a variety of online and offline apps. The store is designed as an interactive environment that caters to the needs of different target-customers: Trendy, Lifestyle and Tech Savvy. Products are thematically presented in combination with related accessories, apps and carriers on custom-made presentation tables with ‘serving trays’.

Following a back runway from the entrance, customers find the App Bar where they can try out mobile apps on a large interactive screen. Painted pegboards are used to cover the walls of the store. This allows display shelves to be hung freely within the whole space and to be changed location at all times. The whole interior is flexible, so that changes in layout can be made quick and easily.

COORDINATION ASIA has created a concept that fits perfectly the needs of the mobile-minded customer, who is used-to ‘click and play’ and never wants to be bored. The ever-changing store concept of AER will keep customers coming back, providing them with an exciting and new experience every time.

2013-09-23T06:00:00.001+08:00

As of August 2013, visitors to Universal Studios Orlando are invited to step into a giant Springfield USA, the hometown of the Simpsons family. For years, the theme park has been developing the section of the park in honor of the series, which has been on the air since 1989! Basically a life-sized set, the area includes all kinds of references to the show as well as large statues of the well-known characters icluding Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, Maggie, Chief Wiggum, and Barney Gumble. Mike West, an executive producer with Universal Creative, says, "For longtime fans, it's the realization of a dream. We tried to make it as authentic as possible."

Located in Fast Food Boulevard are memorable places like Krusty Burger, Duff Brewery, The Frying Dutchman, and Moe's Tavern. There is a large statue honoring Jebediah Springfield, a Kwik-E-Mart convenience store and gift shop, and a large waterfront area. The town has been developed around a central point, the Simpsons Ride, which invites passengers to ride along with the main characters as they enjoy an adventure through Krustyland theme park. To complete the day, visitors can pose on a replica of the family sofa, creating their own version of the Simpsons to remember forever.

AWESOME VEHICLE - Caravisio Trailer Shows Where The Idustry Is Going (15 pictures)

2013-09-15T06:40:00.001+08:00

Trailers, or caravans as they are called in Europe, are fascinating demonstrations of how you can pack a whole lot of living into very small spaces. Unfortunately, it appears that people are losing interest in trailer camping.

Registration figures for caravans in Europe have been declining for years. The caravaning industry therefore must offer new concepts for the market to raise interest for camping as a form of holidaymaking especially among target groups outside the industry.

There have been repeated efforts to achieve this, but so far these efforts have been without any resounding success. The manufacturer Knaus Tabbert GmbH for this reason has started the "Caravisio – The Caravan of the Future" project as an approach to this problem, to provide own answers, and to provoke thought. Caravisio is a technology demonstrator that should show already today what may be technologically possible in the future.
