Best Online Shopping Sites In India

2013-02-26T15:32:00.000+05:30

In India Online shopping is very popular now days.If you search on internet for online shopping you will find 20 to 30 or more online shopping sites. When you see such a long list of stores at that time confusion may start in your mind that which is best.Who will provide the best value for my money.Which store will deliver my shipment faster. Can I receive my order in good condition, well packed ? What to do if the shipment package or box is broken ? What are the return polices of the online Store ? These types of questions starts to confuse our mind.So to avoid all the problems here I am giving a list of good online shopping stores with a small description.I hope this will save your priceless time and money.

Here are some key points which are very important and a online store must have if you want to shop in that store

1.Stock.The store must clearly show the item which they are selling is in stock or out of stock.Because some sites sell out of stock products which causes very late deliveries. Also not all the online shopping stores keep all the items in their stock. They only shows the listings of the items on their online store site and when a customer buys a product they place a order to any retailer or company.Sometimes the retailer may not have the product in stock which then increases headache of the customer and takes sometimes a couple of months for deliveries of product. It is better to avoid such sites which do not contains stocks of their own.

2.Price.Price is very important while buying anything. So we have to check the pricing of various online stores before buying anything. Some sites charges too high for some products while some sites are decent on price. Some stores are more costly then local stores. So this is an important factor while buying products on any online shopping stores.

3.Terms of Service, Delivery and Return policy. While checking stocks and price many customers avoid to view the very important thing while shopping online is terms of service,Delivery etc. Many of the sites or online stores available today on internet have very strict service polices. Most of stores does not offer in transport damage protection. Also some stores have foolish return and money back policies. The payment security is very important in such a online transactions. The modes of payment available should be checked for ease of use. While many sites show the delivery time of average of 5 days in some small towns it may take longer.

4.User Friendly Structure. The online store must have a user friendly environment. For example if the site is selling a laptop then full specifications and features of that laptop must be provided on the product page.Genuine images of product should be displayed and the page must contains a small box which will check the delivery areas by entering PIN which saves a lot of time of customer. Also customer support via email, phone call and chat etc are things which makes a good online store.

On the basis of these points here is the list of best online stores.

1.Flipkart.com

Flipkart.com gets first rank for it's best customer service with lowest price compared to all other online shopping stores. It has a huge stock of most of the products with good price, packaging of product and quick delivery. It is the only online megastore in India.

2.Homeshop18.com

Homeshop18.com is another online shopping store which have a special TV channel for shopping. It has good products but it lacks little in variety of products available and has little high price sometimes hence it takes 2nd rank.

3.snapdeal.com

Snapdeal.com offers good products at decent price and good customer support and gets the 3rd rank.

Some stores like tradus.com,junglee.com are the stores which does not have their own stock and they work as a agent between buyers and sellers which is not a good concept from my point of view. But now days it's working fine.

Old Story, Golden Moral By Sirshree

2012-05-27T19:10:00.001+05:30

Magic of Awakening: "Once upon a time in a village, there was a man who used to break stones for a living. He used to go to the hills on the outskirts of the village for stone breaking. Once, while at work, a thought occurred to him – ‘I work hard all day to break these stones and people use them to build their mansions. How I wish that I had a mansion too!’ immediately there was a prophesy from the skies ‘All your wishes will be fulfilled.’ Indeed the man was graced with a beautiful mansion. He spent a few days in joy.

One day, a king’s convoy was passing by his mansion. Seeing the king seated in lavish comfort on an elephant, he thought ‘Wow! It must be so wonderful to be a king and go around in such luxury. I wish I were a king…’ His wish was immediately granted."

Having become a king, he used to roam around in his cavalcade. After spending a few days enjoying this luxury, he began to feel hot inside his carriage. It was summer and he was perspiring in the severe heat. A thought struck him ‘The sun seems to be stronger than the king. If only, I could be the king…!’

He did become the sun, but his happiness lasted only till the end of summer. With the onset of the rainy season, the sky was overcast. The clouds veiled the sun. He felt ‘The clouds seem to be more powerful than the sun; I wish I were a cloud. Presto! He became a cloud. He was thrilled to wander as a cloud in the sky. As you might expect, strong winds began to shove the clouds from one end to the other. While being jostled thus, he thought ‘The wind is stronger than the clouds. I would love to be the wind…’ No sooner did this thought arise, then he became the wind.

However, having been through the entire journey with awareness, Stonebreaker now remained always happy. (image curtsy : Wikipedia)

Delighted to be the wind, he was blowing all over. He uprooted many trees in glee. But he realized that he could not budge the hill. The hill blocked his movement. This meant that the hill prevailed over the wind. He thought, ‘It would be better to be a hill….’

"With this thought, he became a hill. After a few days, there came a man who started striking the hill for stones. ‘The person striking the stone appears to be dominant over the hill’. Upon getting this thought in his mind, he once again became the stonebreaker.

Thus, this man went through the whole journey from being a stone breaker till he returned to the life of a stonebreaker with awareness. Having been through all these experiences, he no longer desired to change his job. He continued stone breaking for the rest of his life. However, having been through the entire journey with awareness, he now remained always happy."
