I guess, it is like a place where no one will like to be there. Well, maybe the most. But the bitter thing is most cannot resist themselves for getting there.

My Name On My Pen

Most of the people want to have their name written on their shirt. I don't know why. Maybe they wanted to tell everyone who they are. But If I would be given a chance or anyone would give me something personalized, I will choose a pen. Yes, I wanted my name to be engrave on a pen.

Honestly, I don't have any idea about this thing until I found that idea at GoPromos.com advertising pens.
Pen is the writer's sword, blood and soul. And since I am a writer, oh wait, I mean, a desperate writer or maybe it's better to say that I am a writer in my dreams. But I have written some articles and poems that can made me qualify as a writer. See some of my works at Crypticness.

If only I could have a pen with my name engraved on it, I will be treating it as one of my treasures. Yeah! I swear that! I think, that would be one of the best gift that I will ever received to my whole life. I will not care for the design and color as long as my name was clearly written there. But it is better if the pen's housing color and the ink is black. I will not also care for what font to be used in engraving but it's better if it is Script.

I know, in this modern time, pens are being replaced by keyboards. Everything's can be done on the computer. But there are some who are like me that still appreciates the importance, the value, of writing by pen. My heart is in the pen. Not in the keyboard.

Let me say this, "A poet without a pen is like a singer without a voice." Though I am not a poet. I can be one. I am not famous yet. And I don't have any plan to that. I just want to write. It's one of my ways of escaping this cruel world. I don't write about happy things if you can observe that. The reason is that I am just releasing my dark emotions on my writings. I don't even care if someone would take a time to read my compositions. But I am glad that there are some that keeps on following and giving appreciations on what I am writing.

Everybody deserves to be given a second chance. And second chance, mostly, is not actually the last. There are third, fourth, fifth, so on.

I just want to ask everyone. How many times did you told a person that you gave him/her a last chance? Last chance because you are tired of yesterday. Last chance because of you want to be with him/her now. And another last chance because you don't want to lose him/her tomorrow.

Chances are like promises. They are meant to be broken. We are just like an idiot. We give and give chances. And will give another last chance hoping that he/she will use that chance doing good. Well, disappointment is the only result.

I hope that time will come that we will realize their dirty tactics. It's hard for me to accept this but this is the truth. Once a thing was done to you by him/her, he/she can repeat that knowing that he/she will be given another chance. Let me call them the "Promise Breakers" and the "Chance Eaters".

Now, how many last chance you are willing to give? And when is the real last chance will come?

Does your face looks haggard every morning because of a sad night? Or it must be most of the nights?

Yeah! It's shameful to go out with a big eye bags. I knew that and I knew the feeling of being in a situation where someone looks into your eyes and it shows the true sadness in you.

Well, if that's the case, hide your eyes. Yeah! It is good to show the true you but not to all people. Not all will understand you. They may laugh at you because they do not know how you feel. So, show no emotion to them.

And how will you do that? Cover it by frames. Wear a shades! But not just a simple shades. Choose the stylish one. Take a look of some good online frames.

Shades were designed to protect the eyes from sunlight. Well, that's the primary. But, some uses it for fashion. Actually, most uses shades for fashion. But I'm different from them. Most of the times, I uses stylish shades to hide my teary eyes.

I still remember when time that I was in a bus and I remember something sad that automatically made my eyes teary. It's good that I was wearing shades that day. So, it's not that shameful for me.

There's nothing bad in hiding. And besides, you're just making it another asset for your fashion. You may choose how dark the shades you want. You may choose darker or lighter. You may choose black, or brown, or gray, or blue, or any color that you wanted. Just make it fit to your own style.

Her hair, eyes, nose, lips, shape of her face, her sweet smile. Who will think that this pretty girl is a lead vocalist of a symphonic gothic metal rock band? At first I can't believe it too.

Before, I am a fan of Ms. Amy Lee of Evanescence. But we all know that the band members had began to have their own bands and Amy got married. But now, I am very glad to discover the band Epica where this pretty girl on the image above is the lead singer.

She is Simone Simons. According to Wiki - "Simone Simons (born 17 January 1985) is a Dutch lyric mezzo-soprano singer who is the lead vocalist of symphonic metal band Epica." Oh my God! She's just 2 years older than me! And we are both born on January.

Below is the picture of her band Epica. Try to watch how they perform at YouTube and see how energetic their headbangs are. I really love them.

I am a follower of Ms. Simone at twitter but until now, she's not replying on every tweets I replied to her. But it's ok. I really love them. Epica Rocks! I hope they will have a chance to perform here in Philippines. I am very sure that all the metal heads here won't miss that chance.

Some people says that they were loner or they found themselves stronger or competitive when they're alone. They hate the saying "No man is an island".

I just wandering. Is it true that being alone makes them feel stronger? I think it 's not. Maybe, being on that feeling makes them feel better instead of having a companion that would make their feelings worse. What do you think?

Then why I could say that? Hmmm..

I am a loner too. When I was in grade school, yes, I have friends but not more than five I think. Most of the times, I work alone. I do my projects and assignments alone. I learned, ofcourse with the help of the teachers but most of the times, I learned things all by myself. But everything changes when I step on a higher level. I met lot of friends in high school. That time, I became a believer of that high school life was the best. Until years passed by. High school was not forever. It is a four-year contract only unless you decide not to finish that contract. All of the happy moments were lost. They were just another memory now. We must accept that. There are memories that will remain as memories forever.

Then, college! I think, college gave me a hybrid experience of being with friends and being alone. Well, there are times that I worked with a group but still, most of the times, I work alone.

Another scenario when a person came into my life. That day, I said to myself, I will never be alone anymore. Then as years passed by again, and until now, I am not alone. But why do I have this kind of feelings that even there are people beside me, I really feel that I am still alone. I am the only one against all of them. It's me against the world! I really hate this feeling. I remember of what a friend told me, "People come and go." And that's it. They come to make you smile and feel better but they will leave you soon worse than before you met them. I am not saying that everyone who came to me, left me. But there are some who I wanted to stay with me longer but they just don't want to be with me even a minute more.

Well, that is what life is. No man is an island. But we must learn to walk alone in the night.
