Kingsman: The Golden Circle

My heart will go on

Kingsman: The secret service

2015-03-25T00:58:00.001+07:00

Kingsman: The Secret Service

"The Railway Man" จากบาดแผลสงครามสู่การให้อภัย

2013-09-12T16:13:00.001+07:00

"Sometime, the hating has to stop" ประโยคสุดท้ายของตัวอย่างหนังที่เพิ่งปล่อยออกมาของ The Railway Man มันอาจจะเป็นคำพูด บทสรุปที่หนังต้องการสื่อออกมา แต่ระหว่างทางนั้น กว่าจะถึงจุดนี้ได้ กว่าจะยอมรับและให้อภัยได้ มันต้องมีเรื่องราวระหว่างนั้นแน่นอน

ARTHUR NEWMAN

2013-07-16T00:55:00.002+07:00

Last night, I went to see Colin Firth new film “ARTHUR NEWMAN” that just limited screening in my country. I feel really excited to watch the film. The film come up with NC-20 rating, it makes me wondering why is NC-20? I knew there are some erotic scenes and strong languages from the trailer but I never thought it will get that rating until I watched it. There are a few of sex scenes that I never thought Colin would do. I feel weird and wondering while I was watching it but ENJOY THE SCENES SO MUCH!

Colin and Emily are good chemistry! I think their acting are brilliant. Colin always looks handsome! I like him a lot in wayfarer and skinny jean, so boyish!

The story is a good one but the script and editing aren't good enough to make the audiences peak with the film. Overall, I like it and I can find and get many good points from the film apart from sex scenes which is the best point of view. HAHAHAHAAH

The film is a story about Wallace Avery (Colin Firth) who tries to escape his old life and pretend to be Arthur Newman, a golf pro. Wallace has a bed connection with his son and has a dull relationship with his girlfriend (Ann Heche). He intends to be a golf pro in a golf club so, he start new life as Arthur Newman.

Along the way to golf club where he plans to work at, he accidentally found Mike, Micheala Fitzgerald, (Emily Blunt) in the bad condition. He doesn't hesitate to help her by his good nature as a human being. After that, Mike decide to go together on a road trip to Terre Haute, a golf club in Indiana with Arthur who she found out he is Wallace Avery. Mike is a kind of crazy and unstable person who wants to escape her whole life. She asks Arthur to sneak into interesting stranger houses along the way they go to golf club and pretending to be couple then have sex in their house. They both feel alive again by satisfy their self with sex in stranger houses and pretend to be couples who own those houses, it seems quirky. The tag line "If you don't have a life, get someone else's" may be the best line to describe a film but not a whole film. It seems to be fun and make Wallace and Mike feel alive until his plan doesn't be as he thought. This turning point lets him to think about his faking life as being Arthur Newman, the man he is pretending to be or being Wallace, the man as he is. If you see the film you will get the point what he loves most and he can't escape or leave it behind all his life.

I've read many of negative reviews but I don't think so. Arthur Newman is a heartwarming film. The film will ask you about how good you are if you were like Wallace Avery. If you see through the film you will see many good points via Colin's character, Wallace Avery, is a good person in nature and kind. He doesn't ignore to help Mike or a stranger who he found at the bus station. He can walk away and leave those people but he doesn't. He is feeling down with life crisis but he never let his soul down. He can forgive Mike and help her to do the right thing. These prove that he just want to run away from his pass not never his whole life and sense of human being that always be in him. For Emily's character as Mike, she is a person who can't bear with her responsible. She scares of what she thought it will happen to her so, she need to protect and hide herself by being someone else's. I think she isn't a bad person in nature, she is just too weak to live in the real world. She just needs someone who love and care her and understand how her feel and most of all someone who can forgive all the wrong thing her has done. The Film makes me think about my life if I were in situation like Wallace's, shall I do like he did? Shall I help Mike? or leave her alone and think it's not my business. This is not a pointless movie, at least it can entertain you THINK ABOUT IT!

THE MEMORY QUOTES OF GERVAIS

- His Opening Monologue

"For any of you who don't know, the Golden Globes are just like the Oscars, but without all that esteem. The Golden Globes are to the Oscars what Kim Kardashian is to Kate Middleton. A bit louder, a bit trashier, a bit drunker, and more easily bought. Allegedly. Nothing's been proved."

"They actually gave me a list of rules. I'm going to ignore them, but I thought it would be good to read them out. This is real, ok? No profanity. That's fine. I've got a huge vocabulary. No nudity. See, that's a shame. Because I've got a huge ... vocabulary. But a tiny penis. No, no. Doesn't matter. It works. Don't worry about it. It's fine."

"And I'm not to libel anyone. And I must not mention Mel Gibson this year. Not his private life, his politics, his recent films, and especially not Jodie Foster's Beaver."

- Johnny Depp & The Tourist joking

Gervais: This time last year, our first presenter was the biggest movie star on the planet. I insulted his film The Tourist, causing his career to plummet so far that he was forced to work with me on my new show, Life's Too Short, which premieres on HBO on Feb. 19. Please welcome the man who will wear literally anything Tim Burton tells him to, Johnny Depp."

Depp: (Walk to him)

Gervais: Have you seen The Tourist yet?

Depp: No.

- Madonna & Elton John Moment!

"Our next presenter is the Queen of Pop. Not you, Elton, sit down. She’s always vogue, she’s a material girl and she’s just like a virgin"

- Introducing Colin Firth

Gervais: Our next presenter is British like me. But unlike me, He won an Oscar. He's also swooned over by women. I don't see it, I don't get it. He is also loved by critics, Ohh good luck to him! But what you don't know about him is he's very racist, very ! I mean, really nasty stuff. Also, I’ve seen him punch a little blind kitten. Please welcome the evil Colin Firth.

Firth: Some very angry religious people outside with big placards threatening us all with brimstone and pestilence and perdition for our sins. What they don’t realise is - we have Ricky.

The King's Acceptance Speech

2011-03-02T00:37:00.010+07:00

I have to Congratulate to Colin Firth, Tom Hooper, David Seilder,The King's speech and all winners for their Academy award winning ! how awesome !

For The King's speech's screen play writer, David Seidler, he did a very nice speech on the stage. I like the ending speech that he said "We have a voice, we've been heard" that a great one

For the Oscar's Director and DGA winner, Tom Hooper, how nice and how humor he is in the speech. The way he said about "the 3 men love" and he knew how Helena feel and tease her in this way is smart. And he said about his mom, he did TKS because his mom told him about it. I'm wondering if he didn't listen to his mom, what will happen toThe king's speech? Then you can read Tom Hooper's speech Here!

And The Famous Actor, Colin Firth, who is the latest Academy award winning in Best Actor for the role "King George VI" in The Oscar's best picture "The King's speech" everyone know to well that he has always done splendid performances. Then this year, the award season is over with all awards were w in his bag, can't believed he took all major awards as Critics Choice Award, Golden Globe, SAG, BAFTA and Academy "Oscar" Award and including Palm spring Career Achievement Award and so much many awards that he took home. For the Oscar speech, charming as ever, I love the whole speech even if there is no the fridge guy like the last year :) and the traditional of him is thanking his wife that extremely lovely ! The beginning of the speech felt like he is a very humble guy ! "I have a feeling my career has just peaked" Oh god ! the first sentence he said on stage ! LOVABLE MAN
Colin Firth's speech Here!

The King's speech's special screening in Bangkok

2011-01-26T01:09:00.008+07:00

After all day long for heading to my best friends graduated ceremony at Bangkok University, tonight I got the very very special 2 tickets for The king's speech's screening in Bangkok. I've to say I'm not a critic, I'm Firth's fan. Therefore, I will not comment this movie just say about what I'm thinking.

I walked to the theater, Scala, around 7 pm. There were many people stay in line for registrations, so I'm out to suck my cig then I went to register again, I got 2 tickets ! then waiting for my friend....ok! I skipped all activities while waiting to the screening. The theater was full of the audiences who I thought they were interesting in this movie same me, I don't know may be some audiences may be the critic or not? but I saw a famous director in Thailand was here and I saw on board "this special screening is for the journalist, critic and people who is interesting." I'm in the third choice.

The King's speech started with the scene we've seen in the trailer which is King George VI's first speech at the Empire Exhibition , most people in the room was quite and staring concentrically because we had to read Thai subtitle. The movie was continue and people was still quite until scene the king meets Logue , I heard some giggle and laugh (I'm the one who is giggle) and some one still reading subtitle :), The big problem of Thai people while watching foreign movie is language, we did not used to. As I read Thai sub, I think there were a lot of mistakes I didn't blame the translator but I think it should be better or this sub is not complete yet ? because It will be released in limited in February,3 (P.S I'm not fluent in English but I felt it's not that translation!!!!)

The most like scene I measured from the response in the room could be the scene that The king sware and Logue tease him and another scene that made people smile on their mouth could be plane scene that is Logue allowed him to play with his boys's plane.

But for me, the very touching scenes were the scene he told Logue about his painful when he was young, about a nanny who hated him and punished him, terribly sad. And the scene that he is crying and said to his adorable wife, Elizabet, "I'm not a king, I'm a naval officer" It's almost make me cry. If I were him and stammer like him I couldn't go over my fear about speak publicly for sure ! and I wouldn't bear with someone who mimic about my stammer but He braves ! and more brave than his older brother.

For the overall in my feeling, This movie is better than The Social Network and other nominated or not ? I don't know, hard to judge but I love Colin Firth, he is my favorite actor who inspires me to learn English because I need to know what is he saying. For the cast, Geoffrey Rush did a good job. When his character and the king are speaking and replying each other was the amazing scene, it's full of funny, teasingly and truthfully. His role fulfills the film about the relationship between commoner and The King then became friendship forever. I don't know why the voters look over him, he should win award for his role. Helena Bonham Carter is amazing as well, she looks strong in the role King's wife who is support her husband everything and stand beside him even worse moment in his life that makes the character is more adorable and fulfills the film as well. Then, Colin Firth who will win all race awards including the Oscar (bias alert!!!) he makes the audiences believed that he is The King of England who is stammer, real stammer not fake! and never want to be the king. He get in to the character and play it flawlessly. I don't know exactly about the definition of BEST ACTOR but I can image when I watched him in this film.

Ok! Time to bed, my all day long is end. I have 2 hours for sleeping before heading to plant. Before I'm going to bed I want to salute 12 Oscar nominations for The King's speech...God save the King ! and God bless me no go to work late as well :)

2011's Oscar Hopefuls: Portraits

2011-01-20T20:21:00.004+07:00

Got 2 awesome pictures from Life.com And the Oscar goes to.......

THE FIRTH'S YEAR

2011-01-17T23:15:00.009+07:00

"When I see your face there's not a thing that I would change.Cause you're amazing just the way you are. And when you smile the whole world stops and stares for a while. Cause you're amazing just the way you are." (Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are)

That's all my feeling when I saw him holding a Golden Globe in his hands. He's well deserved I know Firthfans are waiting for so long until last year that he got many nominations for his well-deserved -as well A Single Man but he lose all to Jeff Bridgets who is American favorite ( also I love him in the Big Lebowsky, The Dude) For this year, Everything go so well for him, he is absolutely dominant for his portraying the King of England, King George VI ( Steve Carell pronounced at The Golden Globe King George V--I, joking !) in every MAJOR AWARDS include with The Critic' Choice Movie Awards (WON), The Golden Globe Awards (WON), Screen Actors Guild Awards (Nominee, haven't announced yet) and I guess he will be nominated from BAFTA and The Academy for sure, England love him and the Academy loves the royal portraying!

The film has been getting many praises from the critics in Europe and America and Colin Firth as well, he get along with the film and he just got his pavement area on Holly walk of fame star at 2429, that's good ! This year I would love to call "FIRTH YEAR"

But, I hope no one can't beat him for all majors, don't want to think about the last 2 years that Sean Penn won Oscar and SAG but Micky Rourke won GG and BAFTA. This year as I see it could be James Franco and don't look over Jesse Eisenberg who can beat him anytime, but I think Colin Firth is more strong power than both of them, the judgements would be rethinking for looking over him last year and throw everything to Jeff Bridgets, I would be told He was robbed last year, many people thought the same way with me. JUST MY OPINION ! HE WON I'M OK ! IF HE DID WIN, I'M SICK!

Colin Firth won Critics Choice Awards

2011-01-15T12:25:00.003+07:00

A few hours ago, he just won best actor ! I don't know yet it was a good sign that he going to win best actor in the next 2 days, The Golden Globe ! Hopeful he should win for last year for his performance in A single man! whatever, I leaved that shit for the last year. This year he has to be won ! I found on twitter he said " tomorrow is open season again, so i will wear this (Award) around my neck as a talisman for magical power as we entry the fray" Ok! He won won won ! I'm so happy :)

The kings were speaking @Hollywood walk of Fame Star !

2011-01-15T09:47:00.002+07:00

Finally, he got his pavement area in front the british pub, Pig & whistle on Hollywood blvd. I'm so happy to see him was honored truly deserved it! The ceremony is not quite interesting,I thought it was Hollywood old style that is everyone come to honor him in way that so pleased and nice but the most interesting for me is his speech! Colin was introduced by his brother in The king's speech, Guy Pearce. I was wondered why is was Guy? I think it should be another one who close to him, know him to well or his best friend in Hollywood like Stanley Tucci, Julianne Moore, his previous dir. Tom ford, Meryl Streep or his Bridge, Renee Zellweger! That would be more interested! But anything can't change Guy is good as he did. I saw Colin smiling while Guy is speaking, his eyes on Guy is so kind and pleased with tender smile, amazing! And then the most interested moment, his speech! Colin looks happy and nerved (I think that because he speaks jerking)He thanks to everyone who accompanies with him and specially to his beloved wife, Livia. He said when he see the star, it was her name on it! Wonderful nice! How adorable he is, for sure Livia would be so proud of her husband. I felt still so proud of him even though I did not relate with just a freaky fan eiei. So I think I should done posting, updating blog via Blackberry is so hard, don't quite familiar with a tiny keyboard so I have to practice more for updating my blog from my office when I'm free.

**End of today I would like to express my pleasure to my English Teachers, Stewart and Brian. The two make me more understand in English than before and they make me know what Colin saying! Even if my writing dose not go so well. Thanks profs.

FIRST DAY and FIRTH'S DAY

2011-01-01T19:23:00.005+07:00

For the last 3 months I was never up date anything in my blog since I was blocked by my job ! I never knew how hard to get in real working how hard to make money by myself but now I knew, it's so hard and no enough time to manage anything else just do my work!

No work for 4 days, it's short holiday for new year celebrating. I'm at my parents's home, have no plan to go to anywhere just rest myself and relax by watching Colin Firth's films. I've just bought Genova for 3 weeks ago in Thailand ohoho so amazing ! this film was released in 2008 but in my home town it just released in DVD, no in cinemas! I remember I watched it already on youtube in English version there is no subtitle....that moment my brief understanding is Joe bring his to Italy "Genoa" after he lose his wife from car accident. His older daughter is in love with Italian man and younger daughter has a sixth sense, she see her mom is her dream, sort of. That is all my understanding after I watched on youtube and I will delete all my understanding tomorrow because I'm going to watch it with Thai subtitle ! HooRay!

Enough for GENOVA ! and talk about his awards buzz for his performance in "The King's speech" I do excited about his buzz since his performance in A Single Man, I think he was robbed an Oscar last year but this year if he was robbed again may be there is politics involve for sure! or may be nationalisms because He is not an American (just my point but he spend his childhood in America for short time!).....Now as I knew he was spot by many film's critics for his King's speech and won best actor in many states, USA. The King's Speech was nominated for 7 Golden Globes and the award will be announced on Sunday 16 January ! I'm counting down to see he won the award and to listen his nice acceptance speech like he did last year at BAFTA award. Can't wait !

Last but not least I wish you all a Happy New Year....Good Health....Good Luck....and Get Wealth....Have a nice year and the most important I wish Colin Firth to win all awards, he really deserves !

BOOKS FROM HIS MOVIES !

2010-10-11T22:17:00.001+07:00

Finally, after I try very hard to find the books from his films, now I got it ! I got it!>>>HAHA So happy ! the truth, I should say I got them two ! Fever Pitch and A Single Man ! wonderful!.....someone may be not understand why I feel so happy, it's just buy 2 books from a bookstore. but I have to admit that in Thailand do not have these books to buy even if I go to the Asiabook where is the biggest native bookstore in Bangkok...Hmmm so I can't buy in my country WTF ! leave that behind....Now I got them from Australia, thanks God ! that cheaper than I buy from Amazon for sure! ok ! that's enough...I'm reading one of my new books which is the two I have seen the movies yet !

I've started reading Fever Picth, a football fanatic who is obsessed in Arsenal. I'm one of Arsenal fan, Nick Hornby is my Favorite Author and he's also Arsenal supporter as well. But I have to admit again Nick Hornby was my fav auther after I've seen his movie, Fever Pitch, already version Colin Firth and Mark Strong. I knew this movie from my adorable actor, Colin Firth, he always brought something good into my life, he brought Nick's Novel into my life! I love Fever Pitch I love High Fidelity and I do have fun when I read About A Boy and other his books that I had. When I read I feel Paul's Character as Colin Firth that makes me so enjoy and can't stop to read even if I'm working ! HAHAHA

I'm not talking about A Single Man because I'm not reading yet but its cover is so beautiful. it was A Single Man movie's version print on ! God ! George ! Colin ! it is the next in line I will read. if my work is not to much I may read it as soon as and imagine Colin Firth is George's character ! HAHA

Somebody fires him to the Pluto again

2010-09-26T23:48:00.003+07:00

After his movie premieres at the Toronto Film Festival, everybody who had seen it thinks he is entering the Oscar buzz again. I haven't seen the movie yet until the official trailer was came out. The length is just 2.26 min focuses on his character and his speech therapist and his wife, I do prefer his performance very much for me, he is always worth for every awards. The Oscar buzz is a thing that makes me and Firth's fans excited same as the last year when A single man premiered at the Venice Film Festival but this year I think his performance as King George VI is more powerful than Prof. George, perhaps the Oscar should makes the consideration.

I do love the way he did to his wife, always so nice!

THE TRAILER

THANKS: Nice pics from Firthsisters where is the site that you can find out all about Colin Firth
