Hello from Long Island City!

If you haven't already, get on this! I'm loving my new Wellicious gear. They make beautiful clothes (which are ALL eco-friendly and great quality) that look and feel amazing. Lots of love and thank yous to the wonderful ladies at Wellicious for sending over my favorite picks from their collection!

Anything that I can wear on and off the mat, I'm all for it. This is the perfect white tee for throwing on over a pair of trousers for work (and play!) and of course, yoga!

I love the pop of red on these yoga pants. They have a relaxed and comfortable fit, which is a nice change from wearing tights.

When I saw this jumper, I knew it had to get in my closet. I especially love the beautiful draping detail on top. It adds such an interesting and unexpected touch to it. I'm already looking forward to rocking this at the office for casual Fridays.

This top comes with a built-in sports bra. I like that it's a bit longer and I'm digging the two-tone action.

The "stripe it" leggings feature a high-waisted thick band, which holds everything in nicely.

Wild thing... you make my heart sing. Yoga on the pier with my "stripe it" leggings.

Oh you know, getting a leg up on this weekend. ;)

PARIS PHOTO DIARY, PART 5: the day we missed our train to Château de Chambord

Bonjour! Sometimes things just don't go your way. Despite our best efforts to plan a trip to the Château de Chambord, which included a great deal of researching and booking our train tickets on my device, we ended up missing the train the next morning. Here's how SERIOUS EPIC FUCK UP happened. We ran all over the train station, trying to find our damn platform and wasted a good 15-20 minutes. Our epic fail also cost us half of our refund. So, these photos are the result of what we did that day. At least we got in some good eating. :)

So many dreams fulfilled all at once that day. Despite the overcast and rain showers, Paris was still every bit as beautiful and dreamy.

PARIS PHOTO DIARY, PART DEUX: Sacre Coeur and the Louvre

Cip (as he eyes my "Paris" graphic tee): "Baby, are you serious?"

Me: "Yes, watch me." And, that's how the above photo happened, complete with cheesy pose to boot. OI call it our "We are in Paris" Paris photo. People walked by and smiled and laughed appreciatively (?)-- or so I thought.

I can be all sorts of mortifying, but I don't mind dropping it like it's awkward and hot (?). I guess it's like one of those things where a shirt that says "Paris" on it looks cool anywhere else but Paris. Plus, I've never been one to really care what people think of my outfit.

Anyway, here's part two of another massive photo post. These photos were also taken in the same day. We easily walked anywhere between 8-10 hours a day (no exaggeration) and even though my feet were kind of hating me by the end of the day, I was happy to wake up and do it all over again. I mean, it's Paris. :)

Getting involved as usual.

I prefer to be hands-free when I'm traveling. I'd rather dump all my shit into my bag, throw that thing over my shoulder, and be done with it. That's where this handy vintage crossbody I picked up at Artists and Fleas in Brooklyn comes in. It's the perfect size and easily fits my phone, Sony RX 100 (I use this pocket size camera for nearly all my blog photos), mini tripod, and my makeup. If it weren't for this last minute find (so clutch), I would've invested in this Coach crossbody.

Paris photo diary, part 1: oui need umbrellas and hairspray

Paris was every bit of magic. I didn't think it could be any more beautiful, but then it was. Just like that. Every corner, every street, every door, every pillar, every building, every "every," provided the perfect photo opportunity. C'est magnifique!

The French were pretty awesome. I know they get a bad rep for being "rude," but rude people are everywhere. On our first night, we got so lost trying to find our flat (bonjour Airbnb!) in Montmartre. After walking in circles in the rain, I approached a French girl and asked, "Bonsoir, mademoiselle. Parlez vous Anglais?" Home girl whips out her iphone and starts looking up directions for us. I think as long as you greet them politely and not just demand, "Where's the metro?," they'll be more than happy to help. :)

P.S. This is just the beginning of my Paris photo diaries. More to come. Way more. Oh, and can you can believe all these photos were taken on our first day!?! Looking back, we could've put our cameras down a little more...

Hope everyone is enjoying the Thanksgiving weekend! I've filled the last couple of days with Tennessee Williams ("The Rose Tattoo"), yoga, an obscene amount of homemade veggie soup that I devoured in less than 24 hours, and online shopping (I know, I caved).

Anyway... I just taught a private yoga session to my client and I'm now camping out at Starbucks for the next hour or so to pick up my boots I accidentally left behind at my last commercial shoot. Thank goodness Tia was looking out for me and emailed me right away.

I'm wearing the coolest Alice and Olivia velvet blazer (buy similar here) with leather insets that I found at Tokio 7, one of my favorite consignments stores in NYC, vintage shoes (similar here) from Stella Dallas, Joe's skinny jeans (almost exact pair here), and a vintage leather bag from Lavai Maria.
