Is this Mukhriz for real? His lying skills need to be brushed up if he is to reach the dizzying cheat-own-self heights of his father.

(Dad just told Singapore press that no one ever protested against him and demanded he resign as PM - even though the 1987-88 Ku Li-Musa and 1998-2003 Reformasi fights were so well documented)

Mukhriz tried to deflect the Press secretary's statement saying that Mahathir wants Mukhriz to be Prime Minister, which Mukhriz denied he has no such ambition.

In reply to this denial, the PM's Press Sec asked a simple question:

"Why contest for UMNO VP if you don't harbour any ambition to be Prime Minister?"

Instead of answering the question directly, Mukhriz gave 3 reasons - all of which tak boleh pakai.

1st reason. I am only an ADUN and not a MP. The PM (whoever that person is) won't elect me as Senator for me to take over his place as PM.

- This is an absolutely idiotic reply. Firstly, no one said you must become PM straight-away. The allegation was that Mahathir wanted you to be PM eventually and pave the way for you using people like Muhyiddin.

- Mukhriz was MP for Jerlun before in 2008 and no one said that you cannot contest back as a MP in 2018 should Najib be forced to surrender the President post to Muhyiddin or someone else. So no need to talk about senator nonsense.

2nd reason: Being a Vice-President does not guarantee that you will become President and then PM.

Dude, you for real? Yes, being VP does not guarantee you that you will become President/PM but NOT being VP basically means your task to become President is much tougher. Being VP is A positive step towards president. Not Being VP is a negative step.

Yes another rubbish reason.

3rd reason: You don't have to be a Yang Berhormat (YB) to contest Vice President post.

Among the three idiotic answers, this is the most idiotic answer and does not even dignify a reply.

It's like saying you don't have to be any smart to be Mahathir's son.

What are you talking about? DUH!

Just be honest and say that yes, I want to be PM because my father wants for me to be PM.

And that is why my father was very angry when I lost in 2013 and blamed Najib and UMNO. He also threw a tantrum after I lost and quit Petronas just a month later and he then plotted and planned to remove Najib after that.

Some honesty would be great instead of 3 absolutely stupid reasons.

The Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister alleged that Lim was talking like an “uncivilised street hustler” rather than observing the decorum of a chief minister.

“If you think what I exposed about you was a bluff, just sue me for defamation. I will gladly see you in court!

“As a street hustler, you cleverly used my deference to the office of the IGP and MACC as a sign of a cowardice,” Abdul Rahman, who is also Kota Belud MP, said in a series of tweets on Sunday.

This followed after the Penang Chief Minister claimed Abdul Rahman should admit that he failed miserably to live up to expectations of a minister after “chickening out” of his own debate challenge with Lim.

The duo were due to debate live on the Taman Manggis land issue last week but an advisory panel of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the Inspector-General of Police had asked for the debate to be cancelled.

“I do not understand why my agreement to selling the house to CM has been blown up to such a big national issue when I have no business dealings with the state government.”

The above words were in the Statutory Declaration affirmed by Miss Phang Li Koon, the seller of the underpriced Bungalow to Penang CM Lim Guan Eng.

This is an absolute lie. Phang Li Khoon and her boss for 20 years who also owns KLIDC have had many business relationships with the Penang State Government through many different companies.

One of these companies is Magnificent Emblem Sdn Bhd, which is also involved in property development – which means it is inevitable that it must deal with the state government. Here is a letter signed by Phang on behalf of Magnificent Emblem where KLIDC owner Tang Yong Chew is the majority shareholder and Phang the minority shareholder.

You can compare her signature with the one on the SD above.
PRIME MINISTER’S PRESS SECRETARY STATEMENT ON DONATION CONFIRMATION BY SAUDI ARABIAN FOREIGN MINISTER

15 April 2016

We note yesterday’s statement by Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, who said that their donation to the Prime Minister was genuine, that nothing was expected in return, that the Attorney General has thoroughly investigated the matter and found no wrongdoing, and that Saudi Arabia considers the matter closed.‎

This confirms what the Prime Minister maintained all along, and what multiple lawful authorities concluded after exhaustive investigations: the funds were a donation from Saudi Arabia.

This also proves that the wild allegations pushed for one year by Tun Mahathir Mohamad and his Anti-Najib Campaign are completely false.

Tun Mahathir’s lies were motivated by personal interest, not care for Malaysia or the people. It was an attempt to use deception to unseat a democratically-elected government, just to save the political career of Tun Mahathir’s son, Dato' Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.

Western media who allowed themselves to be used to propagate false politically-motivated allegations should apologise to the Malaysian people.

And Tun Mahathir should held responsible for the damage he has inflicted on Malaysia’s reputation.”

DATUK SERI TENGKU SARIFFUDDIN

PRESS SECRETARY TO THE PRIME MINISTER
Kudos to the Penang Appeals Board for a very firm decision in defending its stay order over this controversial project. MBPP has been put in its rightful place and must not only pay the fine but must govern Penang wisely for the betterment of Penangites!

GEORGE TOWN, April 13 — The Penang Appeals Board ordered the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) today to pay RM35,000 in total costs after telling it off for appealing against the board’s stay order over a high rise project in Tanjung Pinang off Tanjung Tokong.

The board chairman Datuk Yeo Yang Poh ordered MBPP to pay costs of RM20,000 to the appellants and RM15,000 to the planning applicant.

“The board has powers to grant stay orders as provided under Section 23(3) and Section 36(10)(g) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1976,” he said as he rejected MBPP’s submissions that the board did not have the power to order a stay.

The board had granted the appellants, consisting of residents of Seri Tanjung Pinang, a stay order on the planning permission for the project, City Of Dreams, which is made of two 39-storey condominium blocks.

MBPP, in its appeal against the stay order, submitted that the board did not have the power to grant stay orders. It also argued that the board did not need to take public interest into account when making such decisions.

Yeo labelled the council’s submission that the board do not need to take public interest into account as “absurd”.

“It defies common sense as matters of public interest is certainly relevant in the function of the board,” he said.

He said all aspects of the planning law was in the interest of the public and that it was the board’s responsibility to take into account public interest.

He pointed out that the issue of the board not having the power to grant stay orders based on public interest has never been raised since its formation in 1989.

“I am surprised that the respondent as a public authority could take up such an issue and present such points without putting enough work in it,” he said.

Yeo criticised MPPP’s arguments, saying the council did not appear to have made any effort to understand the case before submitting an appeal against the stay order.

“It is worrying that the respondent doesn’t seem to understand what transpired in this case,” he said.

He said the council’s pursuit of the case does not sit well with its role as a public authority especially when it has a duty to safeguard public interest.

Yeo later extended the stay order against the planning permission until the next decision date to be fixed later.

The planning applicant, Ewein Zenith Sdn Bhd, is only allowed to do piling works and works necessary for piling for the project.

It had initially obtained planning approval for the project in March 2015 before the board granted the appellants a stay order against the project late last year.-
The following article was published on February 13, 2013 by FMT. Three years down the road, it still rings true.

As long as you are not with DAP, they will make sure you suffer and there is no peace for you.

Kalau you mahu niaga di Penang, mereka akan pastikan you mampus dulu.

This is DAP.

______________________________________________________________________

By Hawkeye, FMT

GEORGE TOWN: Politics in Malaysia has taken a turn for the worst now compared to the last decade, said a state Gerakan leader.

Malaysians have generally entered a phase where hatred reigns over rational thinking or national unity, according to Penang Gerakan vice-chairman Wong Mun Hoe.

And he blames DAP for encouraging such hatred by instigating people to disrespect their political rivals through the distortion of facts and by adopting partisanship at all times.

“DAP is forcing people to take sides. They want partisan politics to be the order of the day. This is unhealthy in a country as diverse as Malaysia where different races and religions or value systems are trying to co-exist,” he said.

Wong said that one cannot practise politics of “either you are with us or against us” and must understand that some people (fence-sitters) take a longer time to decide and some may not want to decide at all.

Essentially, he added, politics in Malaysia should be about nation building and uniting the people, not the opposite of fueling hatred at every corner.

Unity is democracy at its best and its roots can only be strengthened if everyone learns to respect each other’s opinion and ways in a constructive way, Wong said.

He added that politicking is essentially about furthering one’s own causes and beliefs but not to an extend of imposing one’s belief on others.

If one wants to impose things then it is tantamount to becoming a dictator or advocating communism, he stressed.

“Real support comes freely from those who accept it. Those who are forced to accept it, would only do so insincerely,” he pointed out.

Wong said that people should regard politics as a difference of opinions but must also be matured to accept a diverse range of opinions and approaches.

With the general election listed as just weeks away, he said the capacity of the people to think rationally should hold sway over those who are overly emotional.

He expected the silent majority, those who practise the Asian values of appreciation and mutual respect to hold sway over online users who post crude and rude comments just because they have a different opinion.

Wong said Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng must also learn to be more statesman-like in view of his position and the stature he enjoys in society here.

“Lim has a tendency to play the politics of hatred at every instance. He must realise there is a time and day for politics and there is also time for administrating,” added the Gerakan leader.

Despite Lim Guan Eng’s frequent denials that he was not involved in the award and the approvals of the KLIDC project, this document proves otherwise.

A 20th April 2012 memo sent by Dato Ng Wee Kok, a Special Assistant to Lim Guan Eng, sent using the letterhead of Chief Minister’s Office, shows that Lim Guan Eng had personally intervened to improve the plot density of the planned development of the Taman Manggis land for the benefit of KLIDC Sdn Bhd

This memo was addressed to the Penang State Secretary, Dato’ Seri Farizan Darus, and to then President of the Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang (MPPP) and now Mayor of the Penang Island City Counci, Datuk Patahiyah Ismail.

The memo states that personally written instructions (catatan) by Lim Guan Eng to the State Secretary and MPPP on a request letter from KLIDC was attached.

While I have not been able obtain the attached letter, my source have told me that it was specific instructions to increase the plot ratio of the approval from 1:55 to 1:7 – which gives building floor space approval equivalent to two additional plots of the Taman Manggis land.

Simple calculations using the increased plot ratio and a conservative commercial built-up price of RM300 to RM400 per square feet would show that this personal intervention by the CM would have increased the commercial value of KLIDC’s project by another RM30 million to RM40 million.

Recent signed and stamped sale documents by KLIDC exposed by Rahman Dahlan had shown the land and project is now worth RM70.6 million, a huge RM59 million windfall profit above the RM11.5 million paid to the state govt six years ago even though the land remains undeveloped.

We call on the investigating authorities to haul up the names in this leaked memo for immediate questioning to determine the truth about the memo and if the Chief Minister’s unusual personal intervention on a land matter and building approval may have unfairly benefited KLIDC and the value of their land.

This morning, Prime Minister Najib Razak addressed senior figures from the international financial community at Invest Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia’s flagship annual event in Kuala Lumpur.

Outlining his economic plan, the Prime Minister said:

"In 2010, just six years ago, I introduced our New Economic Model – standing right here at Invest Malaysia. This model was designed to transform Malaysia into a high income nation, inclusive of all Malaysians, with no one left behind, and built on sustainable foundations that would serve both the people and generations to come.

“We had an economic plan. And […] we can say with certainty: our economic plan is working.”

Providing evidence, the Prime Minister highlighted that between 2009 when he took office and 2015, Malaysia’s gross national income has increased by nearly 50 per cent, foreign direct investment rose by more than 22 per cent per annum, and the size of the capital market increased by more than 150 per cent to RM2.8 trillion.

Furthermore, despite global headwinds in 2015, the Malaysian economy grew by 5% over the year, making it one of the fastest growing countries in the region. And, this year, exports and imports increased by 6.7 and 1.6 per cent in February 2016 compared to the previous month, with the trade surplus widening from RM5.4 billion to RM7.5 billion over the same period.

And these economic results were achieved despite sustained political attacks on the economy to undermine the Government. The Prime Minister said:

“The ringgit is Asia’s best performing currency this year to-date. This may surprise my political opponents, who said that if I continued in my job the ringgit would fall to 4.80 to the dollar. Now it’s 3.88 to the dollar!

“As Bloomberg reported just under two weeks ago, “Overseas inflows into Malaysia are the biggest in Southeast Asia” and “Kuala Lumpur has the lowest volatility among the region's markets”.

“And the world’s longest bull market continues at Bursa Malaysia – aided, according to some, by my Cabinet reshuffle on 28th July 2015!

“It’s very clear that the markets like strong leadership, political stability and a credible economic plan.

“We have proved the sceptics wrong. Now it is time to move on, and to refocus on further strengthening Malaysia’s economy and on the good news about our country.”

Citing accolades of the Malaysian economy by a cross-section of respected international bodies – such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, World Economic Forum, Fitch, IMD, ACCA and KPMG – the Prime Minister said:

“They are recognition of achievements that have not come to pass by chance or good luck. They are the result of our economic plan, and of the government’s continuous efforts to make Malaysia a business-friendly environment. They are the result of our strong commitment to strengthen, liberalise and open up our economy.

“What we have achieved would not have been possible if the country was not administered with proper governance and a strong sense of responsibility towards Malaysia and its people.”

At the same time, the Prime Minister recognised that there is more work to be done. In particular, he spoke of the need to raise the level of education and skills, increase investment towards research and development, and boost the participation of women in the economy.

Malaysia has already made significant progress towards each of these objectives, and the Prime Minister invited the private sector to increase its involvement and form a new partnership to drive further investment into Malaysia.

Citing Malaysia’s leading role in the ASEAN Free Trade Area, ASEAN Economic Community, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership and Trans Pacific Partnership, the Prime Minister outlined the opportunities these initiatives present to investors, saying:

“This is all part of our belief in open regionalism. Where there are opportunities for free trade, we want Malaysia to be part of them. Because we believe that is good for our economy and good for our people.”

In closing, the Prime Minister said:

“It is clear that we have an economic plan, that it has worked, and that it is still working. It is a long-term plan that works for the benefit of Malaysians not just today, but tomorrow, and in the years and decades to come.

“To take one example: the government has halved our dependency on oil and gas from 41.3 percent of total revenue in 2009 when I took office, to 21.5 percent for 2015. Think where we would be today if we had not done that. That was another tough decision, but we took it because it was right.

“And that is what you can count on this government to do. The right thing. Even if it’s unpopular. For the good of the people. For the good of investors. For the future of this country and all whom we are glad to welcome here.

“That is how we have built a resilient, sustainable and inclusive economy; and that is why I urge you to join the foreign investors who have already bought RM5.5 billion worth of domestic stocks in the first quarter of 2016 – and invest in Malaysia.”
Through the BN-controlled mainstream media, the state government and the CM have been continuously attacked with false accusations. The following is the true story behind the issue.

Taman Manggis land is located at the junction of Jalan Zainal Abidin and Jalan Burmah in George Town, Penang. According to a 2001 layout plan submitted by the National Housing Department (under the Housing Ministry) Taman Manggis was designated "for future development". A declassified Penang state EXCO minutes in 2005 shows that the BN state government had wanted to tender out the land to private developers for mixed-development projects with shop houses and government quarters.

LSS: It was a suggestion brought up for discussion that was not even approved. Even if it was approved, it would still be public housing and not sale to a private company. The fact that the DAP Penang Govt was still able to sell this land in 2009 shows that this proposal in 2005 did not proceed.
The 2007 letter was from the federal govt to take ownership of the land of the ENTIRE Taman Manggis affordable housing project which is a standard practise by the federal govt - not just the 1.1 acres for phase 2. Please read the letter carefully and don't lie anymore.
The houses in the Chelliah project starts at RM72,500 +RM20,000 for a carpark. It is not a direct replacement for the PPRT projects in Taman Manggis Phase 2 where houses would be for rental at RM100 per month or sold for RM40,000 each.

In any case, why should it need to be a replacement when both projects can proceed together? Is it because Penang already have too many affordable homes already?

The Penang Chief Minister is not a member of the Tender Board.
LSS: It was never an open tender. Please know the difference.

A Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation to enter into negotiations. When the successful party is chosen, they have been granted the opportunity to negotiate with the owner/developer for the work, but they have not yet been awarded the contract.

In contrast, a call for tenders (or open tender) is a more formal, detailed process that gives the bidders the assurance that if they put forward the best bid, judged according to the criteria set out in the tender, they must, in accordance with the law, be awarded the job.

A RFP would NOT be an open tender.
A RFQ (Request for Quotation) would be an open tender.

In the Taman Manggis case, it is not an open tender at all. To even come close to anything considered as open, they would also have to open up all the bid proposals - whether the winner or the losers - to the public for scrutiny.

And it is also severely restricted in terms of bidders who have experience running a specialised medical center. (see picture)

The Penang High Court today dismissed a private firm’s defamation suit against DAP’s Teh Yee Cheu over his remarks on the illegal hill clearing of the so-called “Botak Hill” here.

Justice Hadhariah Syed Ismail ruled that Teh’s remarks on the illegal hill clearing of Bukit Relau by General Accomplishments Sdn Bhd (GASB) was not defamatory.

“I find that the published suggestions by Teh that provisions under the National Forestry Act 1984 and the Environmental Quality Act 1974 be looked at in the case against GASB is not defamatory against the plaintiff,” she said when delivering her judgement today.

She then dismissed GASB’s defamation suit against Teh and ordered GASB to pay costs of RM30,000 to Teh.

GASB and Tan Sri Tan Kok Ping had jointly filed a writ of summons against Teh for allegedly issuing slanderous statements to the press during his “hair shaving ceremony” on January 1, 2014.

In the suit filed in May 2014, they contended that Teh had maliciously issued statements that “inextricably imputed a disparaging, irreparably and falsified general perception of GASB”.

Today, Hadhariah also ruled that statements Teh had made against GASB and the hill clearing that was published by various media including The Malaysian Insider and Nanyang Siang Pau were not defamatory.

Teh’s counsel, Cheah Eng Soon, said the court has also agreed with his submissions that Teh’s remarks advising Tan to adhere to existing laws on hill clearing were not defamatory in nature.

On January 1, 2014, Teh shaved his head bald as a symbolic “protest” to what he deemed as insufficient action taken against GASB over the illegal hill clearing of Bukit Relau.

GASB was fined RM30,000 by the Penang Sessions Court in 2013 for failing to submit earthworks plan as required by Section 70A of the Street, Drainage and Building Act 1974 but Teh felt this was not enough.

Teh held the head-shaving ceremony to push for more actions to be taken against GASB and also to push the firm to start rehabilitation works on the hill immediately.

He had called on the Forestry Department, the Department of Environment (DOE) and also the Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) to visit the site and to also take legal action against the landowner in accordance to their respective acts.
We have both now crossed the Rubicon and there is no longer any turning back. And as much as they may try to oust Najib Tun Razak, he is still going to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia long after I come out of jail.

NO HOLDS BARRED
Raja Petra Kamarudin

The Anti-Najib Campaign (ANC) throughSarawak Report wants to send me to jail. They have sent me a legal notice and have given me a week to remove all articles about Clare Rewcastle Brown andSarawak Report from Malaysia Today. And if I refuse they are going to obtain a court injunction to compel me to do so.

After losing the battle in the court of public opinion, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the ANC, Clare Rewcastle Brown and Sarawak Report now want to use the court system to silence me and to prevent me from writing.

This has happened a number of times in the past.

However, each time I was asked to remove articles from Malaysia Today I have always refused to do so. And this has resulted in me being charged and/or sued. I have been sued so many times that I have lost count, not to mention the numerous times my house has been raided and my computers, files, documents, etc., confiscated.

So they know that sending me a legal notice to remove articles from Malaysia Today is not going to work. And that would mean they would then need to go to court to obtain an injunction. And if I still refuse to remove those articles, they will say I have committed contempt of court, and then I would be sent to jail.

That, the ANC and Sarawak Report know, is going to be the final outcome to this whole thing.Further to that, they want me to publish an apology, which they will draft, and for me to give them a promise in writing that I will never publish any articles about Clare andSarawak Report again.

In short, I must agree to not only an apology but to a gag order for the rest of my life.

Sarawak Report wants the freedom to say what they like, whether what they say about Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak and Malaysia is true or not. If they are prevented or blocked from publishing, they will scream about how Malaysia is a dictatorship and how Umno does not respect freedom of speech and so on.

However, they will not allow me that same freedom and want to send me to jail unless I remove all articles about them from Malaysian

Today, issue an apology, pay a huge compensation, and agree to a permanent gag.If I do what they want me to do, then I will be admitting that they are right and that I am wrong.

And this would also mean everything they said about Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak is true as well while what I said about Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the ANC and Sarawak Report are false.

In that case I might as well just publish a confession saying that Najib did steal RM42 billion of 1MDB’s money (or probably even more than RM50 billion) and that RM2.6 billion of that money (or probably even RM4.2 billion) was transferred to Najib’s personal bank account — because this would tantamount to the same thing.

This is absolutely unacceptable because then everything we have been fighting for over more than a year would in the end all have come to naught.

Hence, based on principle, I have to defend my position and not bow to their demands by conceding defeat even if that would mean time in jail.

While the ANC and Sarawak Report want me to remove articles from Malaysia Today, apologise for these articles, pay a huge compensation, and promise to no longer publish any articles regarding them on Malaysia Today, are they prepared to do the same?

They still insist that Najib stole RM42 billion (or maybe even more than RM50 billion, they now say) of 1MDB’s money while RM2.6 billion (or maybe RM4.2 billion) of this money was transferred to Najib’s personal bank account.

In the final analysis, that is what all this boils down to.

My final word to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the ANC, Clare Rewcastle Brown and Sarawak Report is: do your worst. We have both now crossed the Rubicon and there is no longer any turning back.

And as much as they may try to oust Najib Tun Razak, he is still going to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia long after I come out of jail.

Raja Petra Kamarudin

"Saya tidak mahu buang masa dengan orang itulah (Datuk Huan Cheng Guan). Saya tidak mahu buang masa dengan penulis blog. Ini buang masa. Saya nak tangani perkara ini di peringkat menteri. Saya tidak mahu buang masa. Hormatlah saya sebagai Ketua Menteri. Saya nak jawapan daripada pihak menteri bukan daripada pihak bukan-bukan.” (READ HERE)

That was what Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said, and in a way he is correct. He is a Chief Minister. So why does he need to layan a mere Blogger? A Chief Minister should only talk to fellow ministers and not to ‘pihak bukan-bukan’.

In short, you are answerable only to your peers. This is the same as in a jury trial where you are judged by your peers (people of your same level, status or station in life).

I remember PKR saying that about me a couple of years back. Raja Petra Kamarudin is just a Blogger, they said. Who is he to challenge Anwar to a debate?

In other words, Anwar Ibrahim is way up there as the de facto Opposition Leader while I am way down there as a mere Blogger. So my low status does not qualify me to challenge Anwar to a debate.

Actually I did not challenge Anwar to a debate. That was a lie that PKR perpetuated. What happened was BBC wanted to interview Anwar and me both, and they thought it would be easier if they interviewed both of us at the same time.

I had no problems with that but Anwar refused. He wanted to be interviewed alone without me. So I told BBC to go ahead and interview Anwar and to drop me from the interview.

Anwar probably thought he was too great to share the same stage with me. After all, he is the de facto Opposition Leader while I am just a Blogger. And he is a political prisoner (and not a convicted sodomite) while I am a fugitive from the law.

And that is the same way how Lim Guan Eng feels. He is a Chief Minister so he needs not respond to a Blogger, who is way below him in status. He only talks to fellow Ministers.

I wonder what would happen if Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak takes this same stance. What if Najib refuses to even look anyone who is below him in the face? He will talk only to fellow Prime Ministers and Presidents. And if you are not a Prime Minister or President you should shut your mouth.

Who is Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad? He is just a normal citizen, a pensioner, who is not even an Umno member. So why does Najib need to layan him? Mahathir can say what he likes and Najib should just ignore him. Let Mahathir rant, rave, shout, scream, and foam at the mouth. Najib should just ignore him.In fact, Najib should also ignore Rafizi Ramli and Tony Pua. Who are these two people anyway? Tony Pua is even lower down the ladder in status. He is the descendant of immigrants from China who came to Malaya as labourers.

We do not even know who Tony Pua’s great, great, great, great, great, great grandmother is. She could be one of those women Yap Ah Loy brought in from China to work in his many brothels along Jalan Ampang in Kuala Lumpur almost 200 years ago.

So, unless we can confirm for sure that Tony Pua is a descendant of Hang Li Po and not a descendant of one of Yap Ah Loy’s hookers, then he had better stop asking Najib to debate him. Tony Pua should take on someone of his similar low status.

Yes, Lim Guan Eng and Anwar Ibrahim have opened the way for me to also put you down based on your low status.

There are quite a number of Chinese and Indian readers who post nasty comments in Malaysia Today. Basically, they do not address what I write. They do not debate me or rebut what I say. They just attack me on a personal basis.

They call me nasty names. They accuse me of this, that and the other. Basically they allege that I am a traitor and of selling out and of being bought by Najib and/or Umno, etc.

In short, they do not dispute what I say or write. Of course they disagree with what I say and write (or else they would not whack me). But they do not point out what exactly they disagree with. Instead, they just call me names and say nasty things about me.

What these Chinese and Indians who whack me do not realise is — as what Lim Guan Eng and Anwar Ibrahim say — they are below me. So what right do they have to whack me? I am a member of the Royal Family and a cousin to the Sultan of Selangor. Who the hell do those Chinese and Indians think they are?

Of course, there are some Malays who whack me as well. But these are Malays who were brought up wrong and were never properly educated by their parents — what Malays would call biadap andkurang ajar.

Have these Malays not been taught by their parents that orang kebanyakan(commoners) like them should never speak to royalty like that? Malays say: biar mati anak, jangan mati adat. And those Malays who do not speak to me according to the proper Malay adat should be killed. Their own father should kill them.

And who is Lim Guan Eng anyway? My grandfather, Raja Sir Tun Uda, was the Governor of Penang and cousin to the Second Agong. Who was Lim Guan Eng’s grandfather? Was he a pork seller? Was he a vegetable farmer? Was he a labourer? Or was he a Kapitan China in Melaka? Lim Guan Eng does not even qualify to walk beside me. He has to walk behind me, and far behind for that matter.

Yes, imagine what Blogging would turn into if I start thinking like Lim Guan Eng and Anwar Ibrahim. You will not be allowed to post any negative comments inMalaysia Today and only comments using proper istana language would be allowed.

And I bet 99.9% of you do not know properistana language.
A Question of RM 59 MILLION

April 5, 2016

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NO LONGER A QUESTION OF RM2.8 MILLION ONLY, BUT RM59 MILLION

● On 23 March 2016 during a parliamentary session, I revealed that evidence has been found in respect of the controversial land, previously designated for Phase 2 of an affordable housing project in Taman Manggis, Penang (“the land”).

● The said evidence suggests that a sub-sale transaction of the land might have taken place from KLIDC to a third party.

● Today, I have before me the duly signed and stamped Sale and Purchase Agreements dated 11 November 2015 of the land. The purchase price the sub-sale transaction is read at: RM70,643,628.00.

● The agreements that formed this sale are inter-alia connected to each other and are legally taken to mean one agreement, which reads:

1. The sale of Kuala Lumpur International Dental Center Sdn Bhd (KLIDC) for RM18,643,628; and
2. The sale of Victoria International Medical Centre Sdn Bhd (VMC) for RM52,000,000.

● Datuk Tang Yong Chew and his wife own all three companies – KLIDC, VMC and the vendors of VMC, Tang Renewable Energy Engineering – in majority.

● Based on the latest submission of accounts to SSM, KLIDC has a paid up capital of RM300,000 and negative net asset value of RM1.2 million.

● Meanwhile, VMC was created in Sept 2010, two months after the Taman Manggis land was awarded and has a paid up capital of RM500,000 with negative net assets of RM1.6 million.

● Further in the agreements, it is also stated that VMC had, on July 2011, executed a joint-venture agreement with KLIDC to develop the land.

● When read simultaneously, the two agreements appear to effect the sale of the Medical Center and Hotel project with the core asset being the land at Taman Manggis.

● In today’s property market, the asking price of commercial land along Jalan Burmah where this said lane is located can fetch up to RM1,000 psf or more.

● After my expose in Parliament recently, the Penang Chief Minister has denied that the land had been sold to a third party. But what he did not disclose is that the land is now held by KLIDC and the sale of the shares of KLIDC has the same effect of selling the land too.

● Given any standard government project and privatisation agreement, the `sale or change of ownership of a company, which has been awarded with a project, must be duly notified and approval to be obtained from the state government before such sale of shares can take effect.

● Did the Penang State Government notify of the sale of this project in Nov 2015 and subsequently give the approval?

● Or was this standard term deleted in the agreement between the state government and KLIDC?

● The land was originally sold to KLIDC on 16 Jun 2010 when DAP Penang Government had awarded it under a controversial RFP process at RM11,552,208.00 or at RM232 per square foot – a price many believe was grossly lower than the market value at the time.

● With the revelation before you today, on face value, the land previously allocated for public housing to benefit the poor has been sold to a private company at an allegedly underpriced value, without noticeable physical works on the land for almost six years after the award.

● This project had then been subsequently resold to a third party 5 years later - for a handsome price of RM70.6 million - a projected profit of RM59 million while the core project remains undeveloped.

● To this end, I have instructed my team to submit the sale and purchase agreements revealed today to SPRM and PDRM – along with other documents that we have uncovered. We hope that the documents will assist them to execute their job without fear or favour.

ZERO Employees at KLIDC
KLIDC: ZERO EMPLOYEES, Emphasis on Matter, negative asset values

The Chinese press have started doing their own investigations and found that even in 2010, KLIDC had net negative asset values.

Even in 2010, the auditors even questioned KLIDC and wrote in the accounts that there is significant doubt the company can continue to operate as a going concern - which led to an "Emphasis of Matter" in their accounts - essentially saying the company has negative assets and is technically bankrupt even then.

Perhaps Tony Pua can help explain this.

But still, the Penang Govt officially awarded the Taman Manggis PPR land RFP to a technically bankrupt KLIDC in July 2010 - beating out 3 other bidders that soon after the RFP closed, had strangely been dissolved, wound up or liquidated.

In fact the Chinese press even pulled out the financial statements for every every from 2010 to 2014 and found that the company have not been financially sound.

And worse - from 2013 to 2014, the number of employees dropped from 12 to ZERO. Revenue also dropped to zero.

Yes, there were zero employees in KLIDC in 2014.

But DAP YB and Penang EXCO Chow Kon Yeow recently confirmed that KLIDC had submitted an application for planning permission on Feb 12, 2014 to build one block of 24-storey building consisting of a hospital, car parks and hotel suites.

Planning approval was given by the Penang Govt on Nov 18, 2014 and the building plan as approved on April 7, 2015.

The leasehold for the Taman Manggis land also got immediately extended to the maximum 99 years term by the Penang Govt in April 2015.

Just three months later, LGE officially bought the Pinhorn Road bungalow and put it in his own name at a hugely undervalued price.

Wow.. ZERO employees and company is financially not viable in 2014 and the Penang Govt still gave approval ?

Who then applied in 2014? Ghosts from Pinhorn road applied?

No wonder Raja Bomoh needs to go there urgently.

Looks like the DAP Penang Govt and the Chief Minister has lots more new things to explain in this Skandal Banglo LGE.
Taman Manggis - Dissolved , Wound up and Struck Off.
A case of BAD FENG SHUI for all BIDDERS of Taman Manggis

According to official Penang State Assembl
y explanations on the sale of Taman Manggis to KLIDC, the first RFP was called on 10 August 2009 and only three companies participated due to the strict restriction that those who participate must have experience in running specialist medical centers.

They are:
- United Overseas Empire Sdn Bhd
- GM HealthCare Sdn Bhd
- KLIDC Sdn Bhd

This RFP exercise was then cancelled on 10 Sept 2009 because none of the companies bothered to turn up for the official site visit - hence breaking procurement rules.

A replacement RFP exercise was thus called on 16 Feb 2010. This time, a grand total of 4 companies submitted including the three earlier participants and a new bidfder, Ranting Setia Sdn. Bhd.

As we all know, it was KLIDC who won it - at that time owned majority owned by Phang Li Khoon's boss Datuk Tang Yong Chew.

But who are the other three companies who participated and did they have any experience in running "specialists medical center" and are they financially capable?

1. United Overseas Empire Sdn Bhd:
- amazingly incorporated two days after the first RFP was called and still managed to participate in time.
- company seems to be dormant after participating in the tender with zero revenues for the financial year 2010 and never having submitted any more reports to SSM since then for SIX years.
- The company status is now officially listed as dissolved.

2. GM HealthCare Sdn Bhd
- Company has gone bankrupt since June 2009 with negative asset value and never having submitted any more financial reports since 2010 for SIX years
- Receivers was appointed in 2011.
- The company status is now officially listed as WINDING UP.

3. Ranting Setia Sdn. Bhd
- The company seems to be dormant now or at least have not submitted any financial reports to SSM since the year 2009 - the past SEVEN years!
- In fact, their last official financial result was for the year 2008.
- The company status is now officially listed as STRIKING OFF

It is certainly strange that after participating in the RFP for Taman Manggis, all three companies failed to continue their operations and submit their accounts since.

And all three are ended up either Dissolved, Winding up or being Struck off.

Must be bad Feng Shui or Cultural Prejudice for those who bid for this RFP.

Only KLIDC seems to have survived the tender process but even then KLIDC which had millions in revenues in 2010-2011 suddenly dropped to zero for the latest financial year.

But this is another story which I will post and question later.

In the meantime, the DAP Penang Govt should practise transparency in the spirit of an actual open tender (instead of just a selective RFP) and publicly release all FOUR companies' proposals for us to understand why there is a mass case of bad feng shui.

By Raja Petra Kamarudin

For those of you who do not quite understand Bahasa Malaysia and cannot quite follow what A. Kadir Jasin is saying in the piece below, no need to fret.

The long and the short of it is he is telling us that he knows something but he cannot tell us what it is and we shall very soon know what that something which he cannot tell us is.

This is sort of like when we were kids and a friend would tell us that he or she knows a secret but he or she cannot tell us what that secret is.

And then our friend would smirk with satisfaction knowing that he or she knows something we all do not know.

So what is it that Kadir knows which we do not know and which he cannot tell us and which in the near future we are going to find out? It is supposed to be something earth shattering. It is supposed to be the mother of all stories. It is supposed to be an event to overshadow all events.

Well, actually I know what Kadir knows and which he will not tell us and which we are supposed to find out in the near future and which is an event that is going to move the earth and heaven (and probably hell as well).

And since Kadir will not tell you then let me tell you instead.

Now, Kadir being Kadir, meaning Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s horse and a key player in the ANC (Anti-Najib Campaign), whatever secret he is keeping close to his chest can only be something favourable to the ANC and not good for Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.

Is this going to be the end of Najib? Are we going to see Mukhriz closer to the office of the Prime Minister? Kadir told his friends that this month of April is the final month for Najib.

I have heard that before.

First it was July 2015, then August, then September, then October, then November, then December.

And now it is supposed to be April 2016.But why the hurry? If it is true that if Najib remains Prime Minister then Barisan Nasional and Umno are going to get kicked out in the next general election in 2018, why not just wait another two years and then Barisan Nasional and Umno will get kicked out and in that same process Najib will get kicked out together with his party?

Well they cannot wait for two reasons.

The first reason is they do not want Barisan Nasional and Umno to get kicked out.

“But then Mahathir and the ANC are working with the opposition?” you may ask.

Wrong. Mahathir is not working with the opposition. He is just using the opposition to oust Najib. And the opposition thinks it is using Mahathir instead to kick out Barisan Nasional and Umno.

Let me put it another way to make it clearer.

Normally, a client goes to a prostitute and pays the prostitute for a screw. In Mahathir’s case, he gets to screw the prostitute and the prostitute pays him. And that is what Pakatan Rakayat is: a prostitute that gets screwed and then pays for it.

Anyway, the second reason for the hurry is because the Bank Negara Governor has only about a month to go before she retires. So, if they want to act, they have to do it within this next month. And that was why Kadir said we do not have long to wait to find out what the secret that he is keeping and which he cannot tell us is.

Before that, let me flashback to what I told you in the middle of last year about the four very senior officers of Bank Negara who are involved in the conspiracy to oust Najib.

I even mentioned their names. The very next day, Bank Negara issued a press statement denying that allegation. They then lodged a police report and called in their lawyers for a meeting. The plan was they were going to sue me for slander.According to my fly on the wall in the meeting room, the lawyers advised Bank Negara to sue me only if they have nothing to hide.

However, if their hands are not really clean, then they should reconsider the plan to sue me or else it will backfire.

Bank Negara then made a decision to drop the plan to sue me.

So what does that tell you?

Are their hands clean or dirty? If their hands are clean why did they back off from suing me? And why did the lawyer even bring this up? Does the lawyer know that Bank Negara’s hands are not clean and was that why he advised Bank Negara to think very carefully before suing me?

Anyway, on 2nd July 2015, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) ran a story based on what they claim were documents related to an investigation on RM2.6 billion of 1MDB’s money being transferred to Najib’s personal bank account.

The controversial Taman Manggis land fronts the Jalan Burma main road, diagonally opposite the New World Centre and Tune Hotel – certainly strategically located.

Jalan Burma is one of Georgetown’s main streets and leads from the popular tourist area of Penang Road, parallel with Gurney Drive for a while, before ending from the roundabout at the end of Gurney Drive.

When the DAP Penang government sold the 47,916 square feet. land previously allocated for public housing to KLIDC for RM232 p.s.f., many had said that this price was severely underpriced, with Penang Barisan Nasional saying it is worth at least double of that.

The Penang government however had defended the sale price saying it is slightly above the official JPPH valuation and done via “open tender”.

There are two things wrong with this excuse:

1) JPPH’s valuations are normally below market value and take into consideration the land use restrictions then (which the Penang government has not dared to release).

2) It was NOT an open tenderIt was a RFP restricted to those with experience in managing a specialist medical centre and able to get license for a medical centre.

This condition was CLEARLY stated in the RFP.In fact, the RFP was titled “Cadangan pembinaan dan pengurusan pusat perubatan pakar” – which, of course, severely restricts the potential bidders for the land, as not many people will be qualified.

If it was an open tender to just sell land for any purpose, the bid prices will certainly be much higher as more people will bid.

An RFP is an invitation to enter into negotiations.

A person can choose to sell his property at whatever price he wants to sell. It is his prerogative.

It can be way below market value or far above the market price. It is his property and it is his decision. That is not criminal in nature and he has not committed any crime in doing so.

However, if his property was sold below market value in order to receive kickbacks in return, then it is something else. Whatever kickback he gets out of this deal not only will make good what he had lost in the sale, but he will also reap a greater profit from it. That would involve corruption.

The MP for Tasek Glugor, Shabudin Yahya, had implied an element of corruption in the purchase of a house allegedly bought at below market price by the chief minister of Penang. Shabudin had claimed that the purchase of the house in 2015 had links to the 2012 sale of a piece of state government land in Taman Manggis to the private company Kuala Lumpur International Dental Centre Sdn Bhd (KLIDC).

In other words, it was imputed that that piece of land in Taman Manggis was sold below market price in 2012 so that Guan Eng could get his bungalow below market price – three years later – in 2015 as a favour for selling the land cheaply. If that indeed was the case – and if it could be proven conclusively – then there is no question that a corrupt act had taken place.

But is that the case? Mere speculation does not become a fact.

A stamp duty has to be paid on the value of the property bought at the rate of 1% for the first RM100,000, 2% after that till RM500,000 and 3% for anything above RM500,000.

The valuation is done by the Valuation Department, which is a government agency. If the buyer had quoted a certain price for the property and if the Valuation Department came out with a higher valuation for the property, the buyer pays the higher percentage based on the higher valuation, unless that buyer is prepared to challenge that valuation in a court of law.

In the instant case, since the Valuation Department decided that the market price of the property should be RM4.1m, the buyer have had to pay RM39,000 extra in stamp duty on the RM1.3m differential between the transaction price and the valuation level.

Nobody is ever charged for quoting a lower price. It is not a criminal act. It is not an issue at all.

Coming back to the issue of corruption, we are told that the buyer of the bungalow, the chief minister of Penang, was not the chairman of the Tender Board. He wasn’t even a member.

From the relevant facts made available, the Taman Manggis land was sold through an open tender chaired by the State Secretary. It would mean that there were other bidders for the land as well. If that was the case, who then would be the rightful buyer?

Surely it must be the highest bidder. If the land was bought legitimately through the proper tender process, how does the question of corruption come into the picture then?

Is it implied that the entire Tender Board had colluded with the chief minister in selling this particular piece of land to KLIDC below market price? Is the integrity of the members of the Tender Board being questioned? What is the basis for this?

Were the other bidders in the open tender exercise influenced not to offer a higher price so that KLIDC could buy this land at their offered price? Who would have that kind of influence? Was there a puppet master controlling the open tender exercise?

If the entire tender process was above board, how does the question of corruption arise? Is it a cooked-up notion?

Was the element of corruption wilfully manufactured to implicate Guan Eng in the purchase of his bungalow below market price?

If Shabudin has irrefutable evidence to back up his claim, then he should say this publicly outside Parliament. It is a moral obligation. We would support him – indeed urge him – to do so.Guan Eng, who dismisses this allegation as lies, will be compelled to sue Shabudin, who can lay bare the evidence in Court and nail Guan Eng.

If Shabudin is out to get Guan Eng for committing corruption, then this would be the golden opportunity for him to achieve this.

Much hullabaloo is being created now about the affordable housing project that was intended on Taman Manggis – but not implemented – by the former BN government. When the BN was in power, it could have easily completed the housing project for the poor on this piece of land. But it would seem it had squandered that opportunity.

PETALING JAYA: Embattled Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng now faces internal pressure to take leave while public investigators probe graft allegations against him.

Outspoken Tanjung Bungah assemblyman Teh Yee Cheu said DAP leaders should walk the talk as they had always asked others, especially Barisan Nasional leaders, to take leave or quit whenever a controversy or scandal erupted.

Thus, the Penang lawmaker said, Lim should heed a call by former Bar Council president S. Ambiga to take leave to uphold the principles of competency, accountability and transparency.

“We, the DAP, have always asked others, especially BN leaders, to do it. So DAP leaders should do it, too. We must walk the talk now.

“DAP should demonstrate to the people that it abhors corruption at all levels, notwithstanding who is involved.

“The party must show that it always upholds principles of good governance. Hence, those facing graft allegations should take leave,” said Teh, firing a broadside against Lim.

Lim is embroiled in a graft allegation pertaining to his RM2.8 million bungalow purchase, which is allegedly below market value.

The bungalow purchase has been linked to the Penang Government’s sale of a Taman Manggis land in Jalan Zainal Abidin – Jalan Burma junction in George Town to Kuala Lumpur International Dental Centre (KLIDC) Sdn Bhd in 2010 for RM11.5 million, which has also been alleged to be below market value.

Several quarters have lodged reports with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the police.

Both law enforcement agencies have already opened investigation papers on the reports.

Previously, Ambiga and current Malaysian Bar president Steven Thiru had called on Lim to take leave while graft-busters probed allegations against him. However, Lim had said he saw no reason for him to take leave.

Currently, said Teh, negative perception of DAP leaders and its government in Penang was growing because of the bungalow and Taman Manggis controversies.

Thus, he said, the DAP should take pro-active steps to restore public confidence in the competency, accountability and transparency of personalities involved in these issues.

He said the public had high expectations of the Penang Government.

“But now everywhere people are talking about this bungalow issue.

“They have negative perception of certain leaders,” said Teh, who had written a letter last Friday to Lim and Penang DAP chairman Chow Kon Yeow on the matter.

In his letter, Teh has requested Lim to heed Ambiga’s suggestion to take leave.

Teh had also advised DAP leaders to take the bull by its horns by going public to explain the graft allegations against Lim.

“Of course, all the allegations have not been proven, but the public’s perception of the party is negative now.

“Integrity of the state government and public confidence have been eroded and credibility of certain leaders has been badly affected.

“DAP leaders should declare loud and clear to the people that the party has always been against corruption at all levels.

“The party should reiterate its stand that it is always against any form of graft, even by its own leaders, to restore public confidence and uphold principles of good governance,” said Teh.
