While I would love to continue this blog, it seems that I've run into too many problems to be able to continue it. I'm really sorry for those of you that were actually wanting to participate. I just can't come up with a fool-proof way of managing voting. (People were voting multiple times with different accounts and stuff.) On top of this, I really doubt that I have time to keep this blog going the way I'd need to in order to make it fun and effective. PLEASE VISIT THESE AWESOME BLOGS BECAUSE THEY WERE VERY SUPPORTIVE OF MY TOURNAMENT and I don't know who would have won:

The first tournament is on its way. I still need just one more blog to participate. If anyone has seen any great blogs that seem like they'd be valuable additions to the tournament, please let me know!

I'm pretty sure we'll have the first matchup of tournament number 1 this weekend.

Thus far we have five blogs that are going to participate. I should clarify, that nothing is REQUIRED of you to participate. You could potentially do nothing, but if you want to win this thing you'll want to rally your troops to come here and vote for you when your match-up appears.

Hi! Welcome to Blog Tournaments! Whereas things are just getting started, I plan to first go out and search for blogs that I feel are quality enough to enter the first tournament. Some tournaments may have specific posts that will be entered, and some may just be tournaments between the blogs themselves. This will hopefully be a fun way to spread your blogging fame, and I hope that you'll come back again and again to vote for your favorites!

BLOG TOURNAMENT #1: Best of 8 Invitational
Stipulations:

I'll invite blogs to participate
This will be entire blogs going head-to-head
Voting will be done in the comments section of the posts that announce each new match-up.
To vote, voters will simply start their comment with the name of the blog they liked best, and if they prefer, they can leave a comment to explain why they chose the blog they chose.
This is for fun, so be nice!

Here is what the bracket will look like, it will be a three round tournament. 8 blogs will be slimmed to 4 blogs, 4 to 2 blogs, the remaining two down to one winner.

The winner's blog link will be permanently placed on this blog to attract traffic. So being the winner of the first tournament will be the prime spot to be for the future. (As you will be at the top of the list of winners.)
