Google Chrome Frame is an open source plug-in that seamlessly brings Google Chrome's open web technologies and speedy JavaScript engine to Internet Explorer. Older versions of IE doesn’t support the latest web technologies like HTML5 and CSS3. With Chrome Frame, all these new Technologies will be supported.

What is this Google Chrome Frame (GCF) ?

How can i Render my Blogger Blog using the Chrome Frame?

1. Log in to your Blogger account

2. Go to Design > Edit HTML tab.

3. Look for <head> and immediately below it paste the following line of code.

4. Save the Template

Now if anyone visits your Blog using Internet Explorer and if he/she has already installed the Google Chrome Frame on his/her PC, then your Blog will be rendered using GCF

Advantages of adding this one line code

1. Better and Faster Rendering (if GCF is installed on the visitors PC)

2. Normal rendering (if GCF is not installed) – No the user won’t be prompted to install the Chrome Frame(unless you add some extra scripts to do that).

How can i prompt the visitor to install the Chrome Frame?

If you want, you can prompt IE users( who have not installed GCF) to install GCF. This is optional . To prompt users, Follow these steps.

1. Once again Login to your Blogger Account

2. Go to Design > Edit HTML

3. Look for </head> and just above that add the following code snippet

Bootable USB pendrive using CMD

Making a pen drive bootable is possible in Windows7 & Windows8 operating system. Formatting a computer to install fresh Windows OS with a CD/DVD drive is not very good because it takes too much time to install fresh Windows operating system. There can also be a problem for many people that CD/DVD drive doesn’t work properly. So this can be a problem for them. Today laptop or desktop comes many USB ports. So there is no need of CD/DVD drive to format a system. Formatting is very fast and easy with Flash Drive/Pen Drive and also no software is required for this method. Windows 7 and Windows 8 Command Prompt can do the work with few lines of command. Just follow some steps.

Start your command prompt.

For windows7 users:

Go to “Start” button and click. Write “cmd” then cmd icon will appear on the top of the panel. (Fig.1)

“Right click” on the cmd icon and click “Run as administrator”. (Fig.2)

It will open the command prompt. (Fig.3)

For windows 8 users:

Press “Windows key” and press “c”. You will see the command prompt icon. “Right click” on the command prompt icon and click “Run as administrator” from the bottom bar. (Fig.4)

It will open the command prompt like in Fig.3

Now following steps are same for the windows7 and 8 OS.

Type “diskpart” inside the command prompt and hit “ENTER”. (Fig.5)

It will good before going to next step that you should disconnect all other external hard disk, flash/pen drive etc. because accidently these drive can be formatted. So taking precaution is good. Only one pen drive with minimum 4 GB should be connected. Save all the data from the pen drive because it will be formatted in one of the following step.

After last step type “list disk” inside the command prompt and hit “ENTER”. (Fig.6)

This will show all disk connected to the system like DISK 0, Disk 1, and so on with “Status”, “Size” , “Free” etc.. We can recognize the pen drive with size. Disk 0 will be the system disk in which the windows OS is installed. In this tutorial Disk 1 is the pen drive (3855MB=4GB). This pen drive is going to be a bootable pen drive.

Type “select disk 1” inside the command prompt and hit “ENTER”. It will select the disk 1 (pen drive) for all coming steps. (Fig.7)

Type “clean” and hit “ENTER”. It will erase all the data from the pen drive. (Fig.8)

Type “create partition primary” and hit “ENTER”. It will create a primary partition in pen drive. (Fig.9)

Type “select partition 1” and hit “ENTER”. It will select the partition created in the last step. (Fig.10)

Type “format=fs ntfs quick” and hit “ENTER”. It will format the pen drive quickly with NTFS file type. (Fig.11)

Type “active” and hit “ENTER”. It will make partition as active for booting after restarting the computer. If this is step is missed then computer will not boot from the pen drive. (Fig.12)

Type “exit ” and hit “ENTER” to close the diskpart and close the command prompt window. (Fig.13)

Now the pen drive has become bootable. Now all the files from root of Windows operating system setup DVD or ISO has to copy inside the pen drive root.

So open the Windows setup file from DVD or ISO and copy all file by selecting with “Ctrl+A” and paste it inside the pen drive’s root folder as shown in the figure. (Fig.14)

After complete copy, the pen drive will be a bootable for Windows 7 and Windows 8 OS completely. You just need to“Restart” your computer. “Restart” your computer. When BIOS screen appears then press “F12” key. It will show the options to boot from CD/DVD drive, hard disk and pen drive. Just scroll down to pen drive and hit “Enter”. Your system will boot from pen drive. Now you can install windows OS.

Disabling Office 2010 Shared Folder Synchronization

There are various posts on how to remove the Office 2010 “Shared Folder Synchronization” context menu using either the Windows registry modifications or the Office uninstaller. I prefer a cleaner solution which seems hard to find at Google, so it’s worthwhile mentioning it here.

Steps

The approach is to unload the DLL in question. The first step is to start a command prompt as administrator.

In this command prompt, type (assuming 64-bits Office — see comments for details):

regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\GROOVEEX.DLL"

Pasting is not good enough, since the command prompt will not swallow the quotes. Therefore, type it, or repair the line with the up-arrow after pasting. An example of how it looks like:

After executing the command, a dialog will inform you of the result. If you get an error, double check whether you opened the command prompt as administrator correctly.

Reloading

Reloading can always be done by calling regsvr32 as shown above, but without the /uflag.

(Aside: in Office 2007 this feature was called Groove folder synchronization.)

Burn a CD/DVD on Windows 7 or Vista Without Using Software

CD/DVD burning capability has been added to Windows Operating System since the release of Windows XP. However, the steps to burn CD/DVD on Windows Vista and Windows 7 are a bit different (and somewhat simpler) comparing to Windows XP.

You can use this built-in feature to create a data CD/DVD or an audio CD. The steps below will guide you through the procedures. Although the steps below are based on Windows 7, they are very much similar to Windows Vista.

If you're using a Re-Writable CD (CD-RW) or DVD (DVD-RW, DVD+RW), make sure the disc is blank (or "formatted").

You might need to erase (or "format") it before using. For information how to erase a rewritable CD/DVD on Windows Vista or Windows 7 without using a third-party software.

Insert a blank record able/re writable CD (CD-R) or DVD (DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW) disc into the CD burner drive.
With a new blank disc, Windows might pop up a prompt asking you which format you want to use (as shown on the image below).
As explained on the popup, the option "Like a USB Flash Drive" is more convenient if you want to use the disc as an external storage, which you can add or delete (re writable disc) files on the fly; however, once the disc is formatted with this option, it can only be read on computers with Windows XP or later. On the other hand, the option "With a CD/DVD Player" is the traditional format of CD/DVD disc and is compatible with a wider range of Windows versions as well as other devices, but requires to burn the disc (or erase the entire disc) all at once.
To keep it simple, we will follow the steps to create traditional CD/DVD, so select "With a CD/DVD Player". Don't forget to change the "Disc title" to something descriptive for your disc, then click "Next".
Navigate to the folders or files which you want to burn to the disc, then select (highlight) the folders/files and click "Burn" (located above the file browsing panels)
A new window is now created similar to the following image, showing the selected files and folders added to the queue to burn to disc. Click "Burn to disc".
On the next popup "Burn to Disc", verify the disc title and select the maximum burning speed, then click "Next".
If you have selected audio files (i.e. MP3), you will be asked to burn the disc as data or audio as shown in the following image. For details on the differences between data and audio discs, please prefer to this article.
The burning wizard will start writing data to the disc and will close and eject the CD/DVD when finish.

NOTEPAD SECRETS

Notepad is a generic text editor included with Microsoft Windows that enables someone to open and read plain text files. If the file contains special formatting or is not a plain text file, it will not be able to be read in Microsoft Notepad.Notepad is a common text-only (Plain Text) editor. The resulting files—typically saved with the.txt extension—have no format tags or styles, making the program suitable for editing system files that are to be used in a DOS environment and occasionally, source code for later compilation or execution usually through a Command Prompt.

How to open Windows Notepad

Users who are using Microsoft Windows can run Microsoft Notepad (notepad.exe) by following the steps below.

1. Click Start

2. In the Run Box or on the Windows Start Screen type "notepad" and press Enter.

3. Click the "Notepad" icon.

So lets Start the work.

Create a log

Open Notepad
On the very first line, type in ".LOG" (without quotes) then press Enter for a new line
Now you can type in some text if you want, then save the file.
Next time when you open the file, notice its contents. Notepad automatically adds a time/date log everytime you open the file.

Text becomes unreadable

Open Notepad
On the very first line, type in "dont eat the donut" (without quotes) then save and close the file. Note: the file should have only one line of the text above.
Now, open the same file. You'll notice the text becomes unreadable squares. (try this with different text with the same format and length).

How to Completely Hide a File or Folder With CMD

Sometimes you may want to hide a file or folder from others. There are many software solutions out there for this purpose, but there is no need to give away money just for hiding your data from your little brother or sister. In this article we discuss how to hide or unhide folders using the attrib command in a command prompt window. The attrib command is very helpful for hiding a folder completely, in other words by using attrib command our folder is hidden and isn't visible when we select to show all files and folders. This command provides security benefits for our software programs and important documents from other users.

Step 1: Run Command Prompt and Basic Text Commands

There are several methods to run cmd.. Some of them are listed below

1. Start -> Run -> Cmd
2. Start -> Program Files -> Accessories - > Command Prompt

Command Prompt is a newer version of Dos and other OS similar to that.. In order to fulfill your needs to hide a folder you must at least know some basic commands ...

Cd - navigates through a folder
Md - creates a folder
Dir - Directory list
Attrib - provides with various attrib features

Step 2: Hide d targeted folder

Alright, it's time to hide the folder

Presuming that I have a folder named Secret in F:\ Drive
Here are the steps to do

First of all navigate through the drive u want...
type in c:
d:

or whatever ... depends upon where your folder is actually located..

Type in CD and then the folder's name to hide a folder within another folder

Now type in Attrib +h +s +r and the folder's name
here's the format

Attrib +h +s +r secret (Note: Secret refers to the folder to be hidden)

The folder is hidden and no one can access the folder but u..

Now if u want to view the folder
reverse the process
instead of Attrib +h +s +r secret type in
Attrib -h -s -r secret

Step 3: Instant Access to the folder

Here's a cool tip to access the folder even while the folder is hidden...

Open My Computer and type in f:\secret

3. Download the Linux Cursor Package from Below Link

4. After downloading, copy the Install.inf file and paste it to the folder where all cursors are located. For example, when you will download the Linux Cursor Package then you see that all cursors are located in Zip folder. So first Extract this Zip Folder and then paste the Install.inf file in your Cursor Folder. I have pasted the Install.inf in Cursors folder.

5. After pasting, open your Install.inf file and Replace all Cursor names inside Inverted Commas according to the names of Cursors which are present in Folder. For example, you will have to write the name inside Inverted Commas which is the name of your desired Cursor. I have coloured the names of curosrs inside inverted commas in above code. Salam to all my dear blog readers. I know that you would think why I am posting after a very long time. The reason is that my studies are quite difficult & I spend a lot of time on my books. So I am not able to continue my posting on daily basis or you can say monthly basis. But today I am little bit free and my passion to teach you people has aroused. I will tell you now that how can you change white or black background to transparent using Adobe Photoshop.

The method is quite easy and many people know about it but some people don't. Sometimes we download pictures from internet and they have white or black background and we want to remove these backgrounds and make them transparent because we want to use the picture for different styles and shades. Here is a very simple method to change backgrounds.

How To Change White To Transparent

1. Open your desired picture on Photoshop which has white background.

2. Now if your image is locked then you will have to convert your locked image into Layer. For doing this, Double Click on your Small Locked Image in Layer Menu and then click Ok.

3. In layer Menu, Right click on your image layer and select Blending Options.

4. After selecting Blending Options, a window will appear. Now drag the 1st Highlight Bar to the Left. As you drag, you will see that your image background is changing from white to transparent. Stop Dragging when you see that the white background has disappeared and click on OK.

Now your white background has completely changed to transparent.

How To Change Black To Transparent

5. For changing black to transparent, Steps 1,2,3 are same but in step 4, you will have to drag the first Highlight Bar to the Right and your black background will disappear.

Now you have done all steps and you can customize your Picture.
