And honestly, you are doing great, being far from home, or far from the place you feel belonged, or far from the dream you want to reach. Especially in this Canadian winter, when the air is frozen and the night is dark and long, it is not always easy to stay positive. Allow yourself to feel lonely, sometimes. You are doing great! We are all going through this feeling, sometimes. Let it be, it will pass.
