The Blu-ray edition is only $18.99, 53% off the retail price.

This is a great price for a five disc set!

I am supposed to be on vacation this weekend, but if I get a chance I will check to see if these daily specials extend to the weekend also.

Sometimes I just can’t help myself…!

This 65% saving is huge, even for a budget title.

You can also get Masters of Horror: The Complete First Season for $40.99, which is just over $10 per disc.

Certainly some great deals to be had!

However this outage has pushed me to move the site again to yet another server after only a month at DreamHost.

This time I am acquiring a dedicated host, so we should see some performance improvements.

On the downside, there may be some more down time as the move is made.

Thinking about how this ‘hobby’ site has grown has gotten me a little philisophical and misty eyed - my how things have grown.

With over 50GB of traffic a month, the shared server approach is not working out.

The downside of dedicated server of course is the costs, and I will probably implement a couple of things to help defray this cost.

Perhaps the most fun will be a subscription membership, with special privileges and services, like the ability to list titles for trade or sale.

I expect that the subscription will be in the $2-3 per month range, and will offer new services - all current free services will remain free.

If you have any ideas for services that could be offered or any thoughts at all about this, feel free to comment.

I want to avoid moving towards Adsense and other intrusional advertising, so hopefully we can build a small community of users that can support the site through this small monthly fee.

My hosting company DreamHost seems to have no intention of making my day - the database is still disabled with no word as when they might help us out.

I am not sure what the deal is but I can assure you that I will be taking steps to ensure that it doesn’t happen again once I can get access to the data again.

The revenue also just held in double figures at $10.7M for the week.

I was a little surprised to see 12 Rounds at the top of that chart, ahead of Gran Torino - it goes to show that new releases do have a strong appeal.

While Transformers continued to ride off the sequel in the cinema taking third, new titles Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun-Li and Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience rounded out the top 5.

From the previous week, Inkheart, Confessions of a Shopaholic and The Code remained in the chart with 7th, 12th and 14th place respectively.

Catalog titles in the chart included Ghostbusters in 8th and The Boondock Saints in 10th position.

Looking at market share by title, Taken and Transformers were the only titles to exceed 20%.

With The Dark Knight taking 9th in the Blu-ray chart, I imagine that it has a strong market share for the week, though again it is not listed in the chart.

Valkyrie was close with just over 19% while The Code and Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun-Li both exceeded 17%.

Perhaps the biggest surprise to me was the market share for the Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience.

While I had low hopes for this one, at with over 11% market share on the first week it looks like the plan to include a DVD in the Blu-ray package has paid off for Disney with this family oriented title.

Hopefully the True Blood: The Complete First Season market share at over 12% will encourage HBO to release more of their shows on Blu-ray Disc - bring on the Conchords I say!

This time it is the Batman Anthology (Batman / Batman Returns / Batman Forever / Batman & Robin) for only $57.99, a discount of 55% off retail.

A nice chance to get the Batman movies for less than $15 each, and remember it is for today only!
