]]> Channy Leaneagh, vocalista de ‘Poliça’ despliega todas sus armas en directo en Radio K

Aunque había oído hablar de Poliça, hasta hace pocos días no había tenido la oportunidad de escucharlos y la verdad es que me ha sorprendido grátamente su propuesta.

La banda de Minneapolis (Minnesota), está liderada por la magnética voz de Channy Leaneagh, el bajista Chris Bierdan y dos baterías, Ben Ivascu y Drew Christopherson, acompañados por bases de ambiente trip-hop. Esta peculiar formación le da a la banda un sonido peculiar y diferente. En ocasiones me recuerdan mucho a TV On The Radio o Portishead , aunque sin llegar a ese nivel de intensidad que caracteriza a estos últimos. Os recomiendo que escuchéis el disco al completo porque es realmente bueno.

El tema que os dejo es una grabación en directo realizada en los estudios Radio K de Minnesota) del tema “Wandering Star” perteneciente a su primer y único álbum hasta la fecha “Give You The Ghost” publicado en 2012.

]]> Parece que James Blake quiere desgranar su disco tema a tema para dejarnos una vez más con la miel en la boca.

A James Blake le gusta hacerse de rogar. Después del tremendo éxito mediático de su álbum de debut “James Blake” (2011), el británico ha realizado varias colaboraciones con artistas como Bon Iver, pero sigue manteniendo en vilo a sus fans ansiosos de nuevos temas.

A finales de 2012, Blake anunciaba el lanzamiento de su esperadísimo nuevo trabajo llamado “Overgrown” del que nos llegó el tema “Retrograde” como adelanto. Hace unos días anunció este nuevo tema llamado “Digital Lion”, un fantástico Down-Tempo en colaboración con Brian Eno. Espero que os guste.
