<p>Sherman Oaks, CA (May 13, 2013) &#8211; Blu Jam Café, Hollywood&#8217;s prized &#8220;breakfast-all-day&#8221; restaurant known for its creative, eclectic menu items, is excited to announce the Grand Opening of their new San Fernando Valley location at 15045 Ventura Boulevard on Saturday, May 18th. The Café&#8217;s original, beloved menu will now be available to Valley-based families who will have more opportunity to enjoy Blu Jam Café&#8217;s unique culinary creations.</p>
<p>After opening its doors to the public in 2006, Blu Jam Café quickly garnered the attention of Los Angeles residents for their gluten-free and vegan dishes, as well as original items like the Eggwich, the Wrap-On-Fire, and their signature Crunchy French Toast (rolled in crispy corn flakes). Many of the dishes were inspired by Chef Kamil&#8217;s Czech heritage, such as Goulash Soup and the Old World Scramble. The new location will feature a total of 90 seats and offer free parking for more than 27 cars.</p>

Chopped carrots<br />
Chopped celery<br />
Chopped onion<br />
Chopped garlic<br />
Chopped parsley<br />
Chopped green onions<br />
6 bay leaves<br />
Olive oil<br />
Salt and pepper</em></p>
<p>In a large pot heat up olive oil, add garlic and onion, sweat a bit, then add carrots and celery and sautéed till browned a bit, add whole chicken and filtered water or stock, add bay leaves and bring to boil, lower the heat and simmer, season with salt and pepper. </p>
<p>Simmer till chicken is done, remove the chicken, let it cool and pull the skin and remove the bones. Pull the meat off and put it back into the pot, chop parsley and green onion add it to the pot and serve. </p>
<p>Sometimes I cook angel hair pasta and put it in the bowl and pour the chicken soup over it, call it the “Czech Ramen”  JJJ</p>
