And there is absolutely <i>nothing</i> more frustrating than car trouble, that's for sure!<br /> <br /> So there I was, driving through Arizona, when all of a sudden my&nbsp;<a href="http://repairpal.com/ford-escort-2001">Ford Escort</a> decides to completely crap out on me. Luckily I was already close enough to the shoulder that I could pull over and put on my flashers. I pop open the hood, take a quick look around and discover the worst of my car trouble nightmares had come true. My <a href="http://repairpal.com/timing-belt-replacement">timing belt</a> went out!<br /> <br /> Here I am, stuck on the side of the road, no idea where the closest repair shop is, and the worst of it is my AAA membership had just expired the month before! "I don't need AAA, I <i>neeever </i>have car problems..." Go figure!<br /> <br /> I pull up <a href="http://repairpal.com/">RepairPal.com</a> on my trusty Android device and look up "<a href="http://repairpal.com/phoenix-auto-repair">Phoenix Auto Repair</a>." Bada bing, bada boom, I have more than enough shops to choose from... with reviews! I called up the shop closest to me, they hooked me up with a tow truck and rescued my poor car!<br /> <br /> But just when I think the worst is over, the mechanic hits me with the news that I'm gonna need a new <a href="http://repairpal.com/water-pump-replacement">water pump</a> as well! Gosh, when it rains it pours!<br /> <br /> All-in-all, I was able to get my car repaired for a lot more than it's probably worth, but I couldn't have done it without <a href="http://repairpal.com/">RepairPal.com</a>. Love those guys!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7206629075019486032.post-12897665272903568472010-10-18T22:25:00.000-07:002010-10-19T16:05:32.280-07:00<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWjqF79pSevmz4Qb2mh6rMD-0JyZfsT-sYcdQe_mV7Am5_UiWCjIK22uaYjyLE4yE4TTiRf2yiHWW507hXmBkbtYeU5eGrxPHo4Q59vSKuUzsoej2Y9C4QyKcU_dERIToM0J_6tP2GWDo/s1600/blurbed_btoys.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWjqF79pSevmz4Qb2mh6rMD-0JyZfsT-sYcdQe_mV7Am5_UiWCjIK22uaYjyLE4yE4TTiRf2yiHWW507hXmBkbtYeU5eGrxPHo4Q59vSKuUzsoej2Y9C4QyKcU_dERIToM0J_6tP2GWDo/s1600/blurbed_btoys.png" /></a></div><br /> <br /> You might have seen their toys on Regis &amp; Kelly, or read about them in Parenting Magazine. <a href="http://justb-byou.com/">B.</a> (yes, that's their actual company name) is an independent toy company coming up with some of the most creative and inspirational ideas for toys.<br /> <br /> Take for instance their very popular toy keyboard called "Meowsic." I'm a musician myself and while this looks like it's for kids, I'm sure I would get more than a few hours of entertainment out of one of these.<br /> <br /> What a great way to introduce kids to music and get them excited about learning how to play a real instrument!<br /> <br /> Check out the video below for a brief description on how it works:<br /> <br /> <object height="385" width="640"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Cl8EpuH-omU?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Cl8EpuH-omU?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object><span style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms'; font-size: 130%; font-weight: bold;"> </span><br /> I can only hope to find a Paper Jamz underneath the Christmas tree this season.
