Felicia and Ryan met in 2008 and have been together for the past 10 years! They originally thought about eloping but decided to have a beautiful wedding at the iconic ‘Permanent’ venue in Vancouver. (I’m sure many of you have pinned this venue a couple times on your Pinterest board!) The stunning stained glass atrium ceiling and bank vault caught their eye and couldn’t say no.

Felicia’s fit and flare, Aire Barcelona gown was elegant, classic and sophisticated. The blush tone under the lace suited her wedding colours and venue.

“I felt like I was wearing the dress, it fit me and not the other way around. The rose underlay and lace were so beautiful and the train was just the right length, I felt so beautiful in it!” - Felicia

The rest of the details for this big day follow suit, minimal but striking and all following a soft and warm colour palette of ivory, blush, burnt orange and burgundy.

To finish off the night Ryan made a final thank you speech that was truly epic and took their guests through a journey from roaring laughter to happy tears.

“I'll always remember what he said .."We lost Felicia's mother, Diana, 4 1/2 years ago. I know she's looking down on us today. She did an incredible job raising her daughter, but I just want her to know, I've got this from here".” - Felicia

Gorgeous Veronica and Mike married at one of our favourite venues in Vancouver, the beautiful JW Marriott, Parq Vancouver. This beautiful wedding is giving us all the excited tingles, and when we saw all their photos we couldn’t wait to share with all of you!

There are so many elements to this wedding you’ll be smitten with, especially the hanging enchanted forest in their reception (it’s an absolute dream!), not to mention Veronica’s Berta gown!

Every love story always starts with a funny beginning. Veronica and Mike have had mutual friends since grade school and grew up within the same circle of friends, but never crossed paths! In 2014, they attended a mutual friend’s birthday party and was seated next to each other during dinner. They finally got to know each other, and the rest is history.

When planning their wedding they originally wanted to have a destination wedding and even secured a location but plans changed and luckily Parq Vancouver just launched. The venue was big enough and had enough accessibility to suit our guests' needs.

Veronica’s wedding planning tip: “Wedding planning is definitely a learning experience, you eventually just have to trust the process & let go on the week coming up to the big day - not everything went according to plan but it was perfect & we wouldn't have it any other way!”

The decor for their wedding was out of this world and left our jaws dropping when we saw all her photos. They went for a muted palette - greys, whites, champagne, green & black accents. Since they weren’t able to have a destination wedding, they brought the destination vibes home! It was their take of a modern romance, whimsical with a lot of sparkle.

Veronica’s favourite part about her wedding: “Besides getting married to my best friend? Hands down, late night snacks (we had a dumpling bar + poutine bar).”

Veronica looked ever so beautiful and sweet in Aisha, a Blush Bridal gown by Berta Muse. This elegant sheath gown embodies both a sense of modern simplicity and a graceful touch with the lace details, sparkle, and lovely cap sleeves.

“The train is my favourite part! I loved everything about my gown, it's not very "look at me!" but it has its elegance & modern edge - the best part was when I put it on during my first appointment with Blush - my mom said I looked like a bride.” - Veronica
