In &lt;b&gt;2011&lt;/b&gt;&amp;nbsp;I’ve worked in &lt;b&gt;15 countries&lt;/b&gt;, crossed the &lt;b&gt;Atlantic Ocean 20 times&lt;/b&gt;, collaborated with &lt;b&gt;35 companies&lt;/b&gt; and met &lt;b&gt;3.000 people&lt;/b&gt;. It's been one year since I published this presentation, and six since I started this blog.&amp;nbsp;These are my conclusions on &lt;b&gt;how to use the Internet as a professional:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;"&gt;#1&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange; font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;In the last few years we have gone from a linear narrative to a richer,&lt;b&gt;&amp;nbsp;audiovisual narrative&lt;/b&gt;. Therefore, if you are not able to communicate your product or service with a &lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0b5394; color: #ffd966;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;b&gt;B&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt;AD&lt;/b&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; (Brief Audiovisual Document), you may be&amp;nbsp;&lt;b&gt;a dinosaur... in danger of extinction!&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;"&gt;#2&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange; font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0b5394;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #ffd966;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;nbsp;Social Media&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;has transformed the way people and companies communicate with each other. But&amp;nbsp;&lt;b&gt;irrelevance and verbal incontinence&lt;/b&gt; are multiplying. The winners will be those who know how to &lt;b&gt;measure the frequency and relevance of their interactions&lt;/b&gt;.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;"&gt;#3&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange; font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt;In hands of compulsive people,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #ffd966;"&gt;&lt;b style="background-color: #0b5394;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Twitter&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;b&gt;is a dangerous tool&lt;/b&gt;, where there is much more talking than listening. And this exponential asymmetry represents a threat to its sustainability. We need to slow down a bit and rethink its use and potential.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;"&gt;#4&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange; font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #ffd966;"&gt;&lt;b style="background-color: #0b5394;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Facebook&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;is not just a personal social network. &lt;b&gt;It's both personal and &lt;i&gt;professional&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;. Period. And the fact that many haven't understood this yet favours the ones who have.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;"&gt;#5&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange; font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;In the last few years, a new species has developed: the&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0b5394; color: #ffd966;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;nbsp;neofreaks&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;. &amp;nbsp;&lt;b&gt;They still aren't in Facebook&lt;/b&gt;. Or &amp;nbsp;they are without a profile picture. Or there are cobwebs on their walls. Or they put the logo of their company in their profile and start sending friend requests to everybody...&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;"&gt;#6&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange; font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;Given the&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #ffd966;"&gt;&lt;b style="background-color: #0b5394;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;information overload&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;brought by the Internet, the key is &lt;b&gt;selecting the content you spend time on&lt;/b&gt;. And we need to spend more time designing this selection.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;"&gt;#7&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange; font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;Internet is hastening an explosion of&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #ffd966;"&gt;&lt;b style="background-color: #0b5394;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;personal brands&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;. &amp;nbsp;They are professionals who have market visibility beyond the umbrella of traditional companies. Actually, they are their own brand. And this trend is becoming &lt;b&gt;a revolution in the market of professionals&lt;/b&gt;.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;"&gt;#8&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange; font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;Each day we need less&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #ffd966;"&gt;&lt;b style="background-color: #0b5394;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;presenciality&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;for more types of work. As a consecuence, office models, transportation models and city models are becoming obsolete. Which presents &lt;b&gt;countless opportunities for innovation&lt;/b&gt;.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;"&gt;#9&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange; font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #ffd966;"&gt;&lt;b style="background-color: #0b5394;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Unemployment&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;is a local phenomenon that can be overcome with &lt;b&gt;non-presential formulas&lt;/b&gt;. Like working for a company in another country from your home office. But this requires&lt;b&gt;&amp;nbsp;learning languages, adapting to different time zones and, above all, changing the mindset.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;"&gt;#10&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange; font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;As long as all these phenomena are demolishing hierarchies, lowering the center of gravity of organizations and unleashing new models of&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #ffd966;"&gt;&lt;b style="background-color: #0b5394;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;collaboration&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0b5394; color: #ffd966;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt;co-creation&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;, &lt;b&gt;I shall leave this conclusion open... for you to write it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;En consecuencia, la fascinación en esta industria se está desplazando desde los &lt;b&gt;productos&lt;/b&gt;&amp;nbsp;hacia los&lt;b&gt; fenómenos&lt;/b&gt; en torno a la moda. Por ejemplo: ¿hay algún vestido de un gran diseñador que en los últimos seis meses haya generado tanta fascinación como &lt;a href="http://thesartorialist.blogspot.com/"&gt;The Sartorialist&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;(con&lt;b&gt; 350.000 visitas diarias&lt;/b&gt; a su blog)?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Yo &lt;b&gt;veo en este desplazamiento rasgos de una crisis&lt;/b&gt; que representa &lt;b&gt;una oportunidad fascinante&lt;/b&gt; para jóvenes emprendedores con la capacidad de lanzar propuestas verdaderamente nuevas y de sostenerlas con modelos de negocio "ligeros", que nos les exijan crecer demasiado para ser rentables, que mantengan vivo el valor de la "escasez", que presenten una alternativa a la &lt;b&gt;uniformidad global&lt;/b&gt; de las grandes cadenas y que sirvan para distribuir entre más personas los formidables ingresos que proporciona este sector.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A la industria de la moda -¡y a muchas otras!- le hace falta &lt;b&gt;medio millón de emprendedores&lt;/b&gt;, entre los que me gustaría ver a algunos de &lt;b&gt;los EMBA de&amp;nbsp;la promoción 2011 del ISEM&lt;/b&gt;. &lt;i&gt;Este año, por primera vez, no podré asistir a vuestra ceremonia de graduación, ya que estaré trabajando en Cartagena de Indias. Así que os adelanto online mi enhorabuena. Hasta hace tres años, el día de mi cumpleaños recibía unas &lt;b&gt;30 felicitaciones&lt;/b&gt;. Pero ayer recibí casi &lt;b&gt;300 mensajes de amigos de 15 países&lt;/b&gt;. Las redes sociales están introduciendo un factor multiplicador no sólo en la gestión empresarial, sino también en las relaciones personales.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;He repasado cada rostro en mi muro y me he preguntado: &lt;b&gt;¿se puede querer a tanta gente? &lt;/b&gt;Tal vez no era la intención de Mark Zuckerberg, pero yo creo que Facebook te puede llegar a ensanchar el corazón.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

"zapato al pie".&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;En los últimos años he trabajado para empresas de&amp;nbsp;&lt;b&gt;18 países&lt;/b&gt;.&lt;b&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;Mi experiencia es que&lt;b&gt; v&lt;/b&gt;ivir entre dos continentes (Europa y América) requiere cierta capacidad para sobreponerse del &lt;i&gt;jet-lag&lt;/i&gt; y viajar ligero de equipaje, para lo que es imprescindible dar con un &lt;b&gt;calzado versátil: tan válido para una reunión como para correr por una terminal.&lt;/b&gt; Los zapatos Preventi añaden a ambos requisitos un extra difícil de encontrar: &lt;b&gt;estilo propio&lt;/b&gt;. Como el de este &lt;b&gt;mocasín de verano de piel vuelta&lt;/b&gt;:&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;The Global Nomads Project&lt;/b&gt; es un viaje por ciudades de todo el mundo, con&amp;nbsp;parada en los zapatos de hombres con los que Preventi comparte una visión, una&amp;nbsp;forma de trabajar, vivir y soñar... y un reto: conocerles más de cerca, y dejarles&amp;nbsp;elegir su par favorito de la colección.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Este proyecto comenzó en Florencia (Italia),&amp;nbsp;en febrero de 2009, y tuvo a &lt;b&gt;Felice Limosani&lt;/b&gt;, Digital Storyteller y Director&amp;nbsp;Creativo de luisaviaroma como primer protagonista.&amp;nbsp;Una vez elegido, su modelo pasó a llevar su nombre y firma serigrafiadas en la&amp;nbsp;suela, hasta convertirse en el modelo “Felice Limosani”. &amp;nbsp;A él le han seguido otros&amp;nbsp;"Global Nomads" como &lt;b&gt;Simon Jacomet&lt;/b&gt; (CEO de Zai skis) en Suiza, el escritor&amp;nbsp;freelancer afincado en París &lt;b&gt;Mark Tungate&lt;/b&gt;,&amp;nbsp;&lt;b&gt;Peter Thonet&lt;/b&gt;, de la mítica casa&amp;nbsp;alemana de diseño Thonet o el diseñador de interiores &lt;b&gt;Toni Espuch&lt;/b&gt;, de Azul&amp;nbsp;Tierra.&lt;br /&gt;
