Needing a victory to qualify for the semi-finals, the match was called off at 15:43 due to a prolonged downpour during the day and a dire forecast for the rest of the evening. A tight competition schedule left no space for a re-match, meaning that Materials progressed on dreaded net run rate. Curses to the British weather!</summary>

Just two more victories after that and we can begin prising open the Bodley silverware cabinet, last used in 1441 to display Duke Humphrey's Most Treacherous Wife award.</summary>
