I will try to add some of the surnames that are in the family tree, knowing well that I won’t get them all. Starting with great great Grandpa Ernst and Grandma Sophie Bollwitt, their children were in order of birth: Wilhelmina (Mrs. Herman Poppen/Charles Lentz); August and Sarah Smith Bollwitt; Sophie (Mrs. Lewis Rueter or Reuter); Johanna (Mrs. Andrew Krug); Charlotta ‘Lottie’ (Mrs. August Blenkle); Ernst and Marie Klusmann Bollwitt; Amelia ‘Mollie’ (Mrs. Ernest Spindler); Dora (Mrs. Frank Roebke); Marie (Mrs. Richard Blum).

August and Sarah Smith Bollwitt (our great grandparents) had the following children in order of birth: Ernest and Sadie Gill Bollwitt; Anna (Mrs. Charles Snowardt); August ‘Gus’ and Gladys Gill Bollwitt; Carl and Millie Tagel Bollwitt; Fred ‘Fritz’ Bollwitt; John and Anna Roesch Bollwitt; Frank and Marcella Emsick Bollwitt; George Bollwitt; Mary Rose Dorothena Bollwitt.

I won’t try to list all the surnames beyond the above, but a couple from each family are Cramer, Young, Scott, Babutzke, Woeppel, Wagman, Pruden, Kaczor, Reiling, Garmann, Hunter, Wederski.

For those that are viewing these photos, they are photos of mostly of the Ed and Bertha (Ullrich) Urban family. Most of these, I have never seen and it is a treasure to find some negatives of our mother and her siblings when they were so young. There is one photo, the first on this page as I view it now, that is John and Helen (Urban) Honeywell and their daughter, Velma. Shirley

You might look through your “Settings” and under “Discussions”, there should be an option to disable emails being sent to you for every comment on your post.

However, if you want to monitor the discussion that goes on with your posts, you might think about keeping that option on. That way you know that something new has been posted for you to respond to because you can comment on your own posts. It’s however you would like to do it.

Good to see you dipping your feet into the pond! Nothing is simple straight away, but if you can write an email, WordPress is not much different. You’re just posting for the world to see rather than simple person to person emails.
