Shahrukh Khan at Wankhede Stadium

Shahrukh Khan is banned from Wankhede Stadium for five years. Mumbai Cricket Association President Vilasrao Deshmukh has announced this ban on Shahrukh Khan. Shahrukh Khan is the so-owner of the IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders.

Announcing the ban on Shahrukh Khan, Vilasrao Deshmukh said, “the rules apply to all – no one is above them.” He also said that Shahrukh Khan has, “shown no regrets for his action and behaviour…in fact, he justified his actions.” It is being said that the final decision to ban Shahrukh Khan from entering Wankhede Stadium will be taken by Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI ).

Disclosing the ban on Shahrukh Khan, Vilasrao Deshmukh also said that Shahrukh Khan complained of misbehavior to the kids by security personnel but he didn’t register any complaints against officials and security personnel.

What Shahrukh Khan thinks about his ban on entering the Wankhede Stadium? Yesterday he said in his press conference, “It won’t change my life if I am not allowed into the stadium.”

The whole incident that led to Shahrukh Khan’s ban happened on Wednesday night when Shahrukh Khan’s team KKR defeated Mumbai Indians. Shahrukh Khan reached the stadium and tried to enter the ground with his kids and their friends. The security guard, Vikas Dalvi, stopped them from entering the ground. This infuriated Shahrukh Khan and some of the members from his group manhandled security guard, vVikas Dalvi, saying, “We have bought this place…who are you to stop us?” Later the MCA officials and DCP Iqbal Shekh tried to clam Shahrukh Khan but they said he kept on abusing and not listened to anyone.

But Shahrukh Khan version differs from MCA officials’ version. According to Shahrukh Khan he went to Wankhede stadium to pick up his children and their friends. When he spotted security guard manhandling kids and touching little girls in the name of security he protested. Shahrukh Khan also said that he won’t apologize for his behavior instead MCA officials should apologize to him.

Apart from banning Shahrukh Khan from entering the Wankhede Stadium for five years, MCA officials also registered a police complaint against Shahrukh Khan. They also claimed that Shahrukh Khan was under the influence of alcohol. But the final decision on ban of Sharukh Khan’s entry into Wankhede Stadium will be taken by BCCI.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) lost two matches in a row. And Poonam Pandey wants to strip in order to motivate them. Poonam Pandey is a Kingfisher model. She told a news channel that if her stripping helps Shahrukh Khan’s team then there is no harm in such act.

A leading English daily quoted Poonam Pandey as saying, “I’m cautious of making any announcements; you never know who will slap me with a legal notice. The last time I said I’d strip, I thought it’s a democratic country with freedom of expression, but I guess not.”

Though Poonam Pandey wants Shahrukh Khan to complete a small job only then she will fulfill her commitment of stripping. . the self declared Shahrukh Khan’s KKR fan said, Well, I’m a big SRK fan and I’m following the ongoing tournament. I hope his team wins, and if he asks me to strip for his team, I’ll definitely do it, provided he gets me a permission letter.” No one except Shahrukh Khan knows whether he is interested in getting that permission latter so that Poonam Pandey can strip!

Poonam Pandey had made the offer of stripping in the past too for the Indian Cricket Team, if they won the world cup. She even went to the extent of saying if stripping was not permitted in India, she along with the Indian cricket team, was ready to go to some other country for stripping! Though Indian cricket team had won the world cup but didn’t lap up her generous offer of stripping in their dressing room or in some other country.

During her visit to the prestigious 65th Cannes Film Festival, which is going on right now, Aishwarya will attend L’Oreal Paris – amfAR (The American Foundation for AIDS Research), to raise funds for people suffering from AIDS.

Speaking from Cannes, Aishwarya said, “Eleven glorious years. The journey so far has been remarkable and truly memorable. This year, I am especially privileged as I also get to lend my support to a very important cause at the amfAR dinner, by helping raise funds and money for the fight against AIDS, at the AMFAR auction.”

She added, “I am proud that L’Oreal Paris sponsors and supports our fight against AIDS through this special amfAR event at Cannes,”

Out of the two big releases this week, it is Ishaqzaade, which has managed to impress the audiences and has been able to draw people to theaters. The credit for the success of Ishaqzaade is being given to the new lead actor of the film Arjun Kapoor, who has given an impressive performance in the film.

Arjun has not only got applauds from the audiences but also the film makers, who are getting ready to sign him for their upcoming projects. And though he may not have launched Arjun in the industry, his father Boney Kapoor is also thrilled with the success his son has got with Ishaqzaade and now wants to do a film with him.

A source close to Arjun said, “For Arjun it was never important who launches him in the industry. He always wanted a good script for his debut film and when Ishaqzaade came his way, he found the script right for his launch.”

But, the situation has changed now. Whether being motivated by the success of Ishaqzaade or otherwise, Boney has suddenly found a script for his son and wants to make a film with him.

Boney will have to wait though. Arjun right now is bound by a three film contract with Yashraj Productions and despite the offers he is getting; he cannot sign films under any other banner. But the good news for both Arjun and his father Boney is that happy with the success Arjun has got, Yashraj want to launch the next film with him as soon as possible and Arjun may be out of the contract in not much time.

Shahrukh Khan says he was not drunk but aggressive at Wankhede Stadium, last night. Shahrukh Khan has called a press conference today and put his side of the story. According to him, security staff was misbehaving with his kids and others at the ground that is why he lost his cool. If this is the matter, then no one can question a doting father’s actions.

Like a true warrior, Shahrukh Khan has come to his kid’s rescue. Therefore he didn’t feel the need to apologize to MCA officials. According to Shahrukh Khan the officials were very abusive and aggressive with him. According to Shahrukh Khan he felt very bad when security personnels were misbehaving with kids. He thinks that MCA officials should apologize to him.

Shahrukh Khan also said that he was not drunk last night. Shahrukh Khan though admitted that he also abused in return that too because he was provoked. Shahrukh Khan told media, “I don’t think that my behaviour was incorrect or I did something illegal. I think what I did was correct. They are my kids and I have a responsibility towards them. I will not apologise. They (officials) should apologise to me.”

Shahrukh Khan called a press conference and said to the media, “I was not drunk, I had gone to pick up my children. The officials were extremely aggressive. I just got angry but I left after that. I said a few things in anger. I was one and they were 20-25 officials and they were extremely rude. When I tried to answer them, they hid behind others.”

Shahrukh Khan also said, “To be abusive to fans or audience that’s not me. They manhandled little girls. I would not deny that I was abusive but it started that this gentleman came from behind to say something in Marathi which I cannot repeat. I asked him to speak in Hindi.”

This is not for the first time that Shahrukh Khan is involved in brawl. Shahrukh Khan has allegedly involved in a drunken brawl with Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder.

It is good that Shahrukh Khan is very protective about his children. But it would have been nice, if he has taken some legal action against the authorities who were misbehaving with children.

The Mumbai Cricket Association officials have lodged a police complaint against Shahrukh Khan. They said that Shahrukh Khan misbehaved with the security guard who stopped people from going to the ground to play after the IPL match between KKR and Mumbai Indians was over.

MCA secretary Nitin Dalal told media about Shahrukh Khan’s behavior at Wankhede stadium , “We have lodged a complaint against him at the Marine Drive Police station (for his alleged misbehaviour against MCA officials).”

MCA treasurer Ravi Sawant also told media about Shahrukh Khan brawl at Wankhede stadium, “He misbehaved and abused the MCA security personnel as well as MCA officials, including our president Vilasrao Deshmukh, after the IPL match (between KKR and Mumbai Indians). We have decided to ban him for life from entering the stadium in future.”

It is being said that Shahrukh Khan arrived at Wankhede Stadium and went to meet Mumbai Indians team in the dressing room. Then he came out with his bodyguards and started moving towards the cricket ground. The security personnel posted there stopped him and his team to enter the ground. Things took an ugly turn from here.

Ravi Sawant added further, “The MCA security personnel told them they cannot do so as the match was over which led to Shah Rukh abusing them as well as the MCA officials. There was manhandling too by his people. We have decided to ban him from all future matches at the stadium. We are also going to lodge a police complaint against him.”

Iqbal Sheikh, ACP, Mumbai also told media that Shahrukh Khan was in inebriated state and kept on abusing him too. MCA president Vilas Rao Deshmukh considered this brawl between officials and Shahrukh Khan a grave matter and wanted to call a meeting for further course of action. He refused to comment on the ban on entry of Shahrukh Khan on Wankhede stadium.

Harish Aiyer With Sridevi On Satyamev Jayate Show

Sridevi made a rare appearance on Television, when she was seen on Aamir Khan’s Television show Satyamev Jayate cheering and making happy Harish Aiyer, whose story was highlighted on the show. A leading English daily wrote, “When he said that Sridevi was his favourite actress, Aamir organised for Sridevi to be on the show, and Harish was more than happy about the arrangement. Sridevi chatted with him once the show was over, and Harish hasn’t been more thrilled ever since.”

Harish Aiyer was discussing the trauma of being abused sexually by a close relative when he was still a child on Aamir Khan’s show, Satyamev Jayate. Harish Aiyeralso told about his defense mechanism. Harish Aiye’s dog and superstar Sridevi’s films helped him to bear the trauma of sexual abuse.

In fact, if Harish is to be believed, along with his dog, the Bollywood actress from down South was a great source of strength to him during his difficult times. Harish had said, “Watching Sridevi’s films gave me the courage to raise my voice against the exploitation that I went through for 11 years.”

After Harish disclosed that he is a fan of Sridevi, the team of Aamir Khan’s show Satyamev Jayate contacted one of the biggest actresses of her time and she agreed to make a special appearance on the show. Speaking on the occasion, Sridevi told Harish, “I am glad that my films gave you strength in your times of difficulties. You have shared your past with us and this will encourage all those who are going something similar. That makes you a real hero.”

Harish Aiyer also narrated the meeting with his inspiration, Sridevi. He said, “…What about the Sridevi surprise? “Well, when I was being readied for the show, I noticed this gorgeous sari being wheeled around and actually asked a volunteer who the sari was for. I was only met with disapproving mumbles about someone random. There was a reference being made to this person several times and much later I realized that this was a code name for Sridevi. I still smile when I think of all the efforts the team went through to keep the surprise genuine for me.”

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan came to the rescue of around 114 farmers in Maharashtra’s Wardha district, when he repaid their debt of about Rs 30 Lacs in total.

The farmers belonging to at least 20 villages, who got the help from Mr Amitabh Bachchan were selected by members of the Rotary Club of Gandhi City Wardha and Rotary Club of Mumbai.

Reports suggest that when Mr Amitabh Bachchan expressed his wish to help these farmers, the members of the Rotary Club of Gandhi City Wardha and Rotary Club of Mumbai after scrutinizing a list of farmers, made a list of around 300 farmers, who could need Mr. Amitabh Bachchan’s help to pay their debt.

But to be on the safe side, rather than totally depending on the list sent to him, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan decided to get the list verified by his own representatives and shortlisted around 114 farmers, whom he felt really needed help. Whereas cheques to 90 of those 114 farmers were delivered this week, the remaining 24 farmers will be helped shortly.

Former President of Rotary Club of Gandhi City Wardha, Mahesh Makolkar, who also helped in shortlisting the farmers said, “Around 90 farmers were handed over the cheques at a ceremony. We have made arrangements to deliver the cheques of those farmers who were unable to attend the ceremony,”

Apart from the help they got, the farmers of these 22 villages will now also be talking about who gave them this help.

In our country thousands of farmers commit suicide every year and till now our government is unable to stop farmer’s suicide. At such time Amitabh Bachchan’s help to bail out farmers from debt is laudable.

Now the farmers of Wardha want to meet his benefactor Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan has done it earlier too for the farmers of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Though Amitabh Bachchan himself was not present during the cheque distribution, but he told Nagpur Times, “I’m moved by the plight of farmers across India. What is disturbing is news that farmers in many parts of our country are committing suicide because they are unable to pay back paltry loans of 10,000. When a farmer ends his life, he also orphans his entire family.”

Hope more superstars can follow Amiabh Bachchan’s philanthropic nature apart from his acting skills.
